My first extraterrestrial experience happened at around the age of 6. One night I visited my aunt’s apartment, just a floor above ours, as we lived in a condominium at the time. It was starting to get dark, and the adults were going to watch an adult film. So, as it happened, I was sent out to the outdoor balcony while they enjoyed their adult entertainment.
As I faced the balcony railing just above the railing from the right of me, came into view a glowing red sphere (which I would say was no bigger than maybe, a common soccer ball) just floating along very slowly it made a soft buzzing sound as if a swarm of bees were inside of it. As it passed in front of me it stopped. and the glow intensified in magnitude, a red dot appeared at the center of the sphere the dot shot out to, what I can only describe today as a laser beam that was wide at the end enough to cover all of me, it made several passes up and down and then sideways over my body. I felt no discomfort whatsoever as this was going on, but I could not move either, I was paralyzed and even my speech was silenced. I was literally a captive audience.
The dot disappeared and the glow of the sphere returned to its original magnitude… the object then continued along it way and as soon as it was far enough its paralyzing effects abated ,so naturally I being curious ,I went to the edge of the balcony railing and looked to the left seeing the red sphere floating along and going on its merry way … naturally I tried to tell all inside when they finally let me back in but you know how that went…
About six months after this incident, I developed a very aggressive ganglion cyst behind my right knee, and it quickly reached the size of a softball. It was surgically removed, and it took me about another 6 months to regain full mobility…
I am fully convinced that the scan I received was either partially or fully responsible for my cyst…. furthermore, I’m totally convinced that it introduced a precognitive/intuitive ability that I can only use not at will, but at random to safeguard myself or anything pertaining to my personal everyday occurrences, from any type of harm by forewarning me of a pending event. January 1976, I was eight years old and living with my family in Hazelette Hollow on a small farm a few miles out in the country (outside of Stanford). The location of the farm is in the Appalachian foothills and a ridge separated us from the road (highway 78) where three women were abducted near the drive-in. From the old farm to the drive-in, it would basically be a straight shot as the crow flies. My mother said she noticed strange lights illuminating the house and exclaimed what is that?!? As typically it would be very dark in the hollow at night. My mother, older brother and I went outside to witness the craft. The craft traveled along the tree tops parallel, and across, the road. At the time there were three families living in the hollow, us, the Rowe’s and the Hazelette’s.
It was a dome shaped craft moving silently as it rotated and had various lights that reminded me of Christmas lights. Some lights rotated around the center and others probed and search from the smaller dome underneath. The craft crossed the road, so it was situated between us and the Hazelette’s just beyond a tree line where it stopped, paused and went down. I recall a feeling of terror as I thought “oh no, ‘they’ are on the ground” and it seemed just as quick it raised back up to its original position then proceeded over the ridge and towards the drive-in where the three women were abducted. Strangely I don’t remember us ever mentioning it again until my brother called me in the 90’s out of the blue and asked if I remember the UFO we saw as kids. I instantly recalled the event, and he informed me to my amazement that it had abducted three women and it was all over the internet. The records of this expedition is still Sealed and marked “TOP SECRET”, and no one is supposed to be able to read it. WHY !!! Now, 71 years later – what is to super secret ?? It must be very important for mankind, so they do not want mankind to know. In 1947, Admiral Richard E. Byrd led 4,000 military troops from the U.S., Britain and Australia in an invasion of Antarctica called “Operation Highjump”, and at least one follow-up expedition.
That is fact. It is undeniable. But… the part of the story that is seldom told, at least in “official” circles, is that Byrd and his forces encountered heavy resistance to their Antarctic venture from “flying saucers” and had to call off the invasion.
This aspect of the story was pushed forward, again, a few years ago, when a retired Rear Admiral, allegedly living in Texas, who had been involved in the “invasion”, said he was “shocked” when he read material from a documentary, entitled “Rire from the Sky”.
He allegedly claimed that he knew there had been “a lot of aircraft and rocket shoot-downs”, but did not realize the situation was as serious as the documentary presented it.
Operation “High Jump”, which was, basically an invasion of the Antarctic, consisted of three Naval battle groups, which departed Norfolk, VA, on 2 December 1946. They were led by Admiral Richard E. Byrd’s command ship, the ice-breaker “Northwind,” and consisted of the catapult ship “Pine Island,” the destroyer “Brownsen,” the aircraft-carrier “Phillipines Sea,” the U.S. submarine “Sennet,” two support vessels “Yankee” and “Merrick,” and two tankers “Canisted” and “Capacan,” the destroyer “Henderson” and a floatplane ship “Currituck.”
A British-Norwegian force and a Russian force, and I believe some Australian and Canadian forces were also involved.
Interestingly, the Pine Island (AV-12), one of the seaplane tenders involved in the expedition, has a rather colorful history. The USS Pine Island, a Currituck Class Seaplane Tender, was laid down, 16 November 1942, at Todd Shipyard Corporation, in San Pedro, California. It was launched, 26 February 1944, and given the commissioned name, USS Pine Island on 26 April 1945.
The ship served through the final months of the Second World War, and the immediate post-war period, but was decommissioned on 1 May 1950 When the Korean War broke out, the ship was re-commissioned, on 7 October 1950, at Alameda, California. She was finally decommissioned, for good, on 16 June 1967 and laid up in the Reserve Fleet.
But… here’s where the story gets interesting… The USS Pine Island was struck from the Naval Register, on an unknown date… Her title was transferred to the Maritime Administration for lay up in the National Defense Reserve Fleet… on an unknown date… and… the ship’s final disposition is unknown… Now… how does one go about “losing” a major surface ship, over 640 feet long, almost seventy feet wide, with a displacement of over 15,000 tons? [see Rejoinder below]
As a federal employee with immediate access to the NDRF (National Defense Reserve Fleet) archives, which are all unclassified, let me provide additional information as it relates to the subject story of 3/15.Mr. Choron states:“The USS Pine Island was struck from the Naval Register, on an unknown date… Her title was transferred to the Maritime Administration for lay up in the National Defense Reserve Fleet… on an unknown date… and… the ship’s final disposition is unknown… “Here’s what I can tell you: PINE ISLAND was delivered to Zidell Explorations in Portland, OR (now Zidell Marine) on 3/7/72 under a standard scrapping contract. Zidell paid $166K for the ship, which would be typical. In 1971 PINE ISLAND was towed to Bremerton to be stripped out by the Navy, which is not uncommon for a ship to be scrapped. The fact that she (nor the other AVs) is not listed on the Naval Vessel Register is strange, but probably just an oversight on the Navy’s part (as is not uncommon). Should you E-mail the nice folks running the NVR today, they would probably thank you for pointing out the ommission and add the missing ships.Now, all this is not a refutation of OPERATION HIGHJUMP; that will be left up to others.
The story, of course, gets stranger, still. The Pine Island is not the only ship involved in “Antarctic Research” or “exploration” to have disappeared. There were numerous others. The question is not so much “how many”, that is fairly well established.
The question is “how and why”… particularly “why”…
On 5 March, 1947 the “El Mercurio” newspaper of Santiago, Chile, had a headline article “On Board the Mount Olympus on the High Seas” which quoted Byrd in an interview with Lee van Atta:
“Adm. Byrd declared today that it was imperative for the United States to initiate immediate defense measures against hostile regions. Furthermore, Byrd stated that he “didn’t want to frighten anyone unduly” but that it was “a bitter reality that in case of a new war the continental United States would be attacked by flying objects which could fly from pole to pole at incredible speeds”.
Interestingly, not long before he made these comments, the Admiral had recommended defense bases AT the North Pole.
These were not “isolated” remarks… Admiral Byrd later repeated the each of these points of view, resulting from he described as his “personal knowledge” gathered both at the north and south poles, before a news conference held for International News Service.
He was hospitalized and was not allowed to hold any more press conferences. Still, in March 1955, he was placed in charge of Operation Deepfreeze which was part of the International Geophysical Year, 1957-1958, exploration of the Antarctic. He died, shortly thereafter… in 1957… many have suggested he was murdered…
So… who was the enemy that owned or flew these flying objects? Germany was apparently defeated, and there was no evidence that the new emerging enemy, Russia, certainly had such superior technologies. They were, like the United States, only on the verge of the “rocket age”, and totally dependent upon technology, and expertise captured from Germany at the end of the War. There was no other known threat could that could account for the United States’ invasion of Antarctica nor for the development of any craft that could fly “fly from Pole to pole with incredible speeds.”
Of course, the Roswell Incident had been in the news the past summer, but… it had been “officially” explained, and hushed up by the time Highjump began.

Witness stated “My story- end of May 2018. I was without a house for a few days so I was staying in a park in Niagara Falls just off Drummond. It’s 3-4am. I noticed clouds that came in quickly even though it was clear seconds before. They were really low clouds very wavy looking. I thought weird and said so to my friend. I sit down (facing North) put my shawl over my head. I hear what sounds kind of like wind turbines and I say out loud what kind of jet is that. I stand up and look towards the water fall (To the right of me (SE)-slightly behind me) that’s where the sound is coming from, but knowing jets move faster than the speed of sound I’m expecting to see this in-between me and the water falls which is only about 15 min walk from where I was. Out of my left eye (SW) pretty much right above me a light catches my eye. Right above me. It didn’t look higher than a high-rise building. 3 lights in a triangle!!!! I’m like wtf. I look trying to make the shape out/ how big this thing is, what kind of material is it made from, looking like “I am I actually seeing this.” I look down at my friend and say to him to look, he gets mad says “I just want to sleep.” I look back up and without a sound this thing is gone only a faint single light way far up and then it’s gone…” NOTE: The above image is CGI.
10:30 – 10:45 p.m. A witness came forward and called me from Smithers, B.C. after she read a short article in the Smithers Interior Newspaper about a sighting of a pink object which was witnessed by another lady over the Smithers Ski Hill Road on April 8, 2004. The witness was on her way to work as she works the graveyard shift. As she traveled around a corner on Harris Road by Harris Auto Wrecking, she saw a extremely large bright pink object low in the sky. The lady said she had never seen anything like it in all the years she lived in the area and also wondered if it might have been an airplane coming in for a landing at the Smithers airport. She told me the object had to have been the size of a full moon and on the outer edge of the object the color was a much lighter pink in color. As the woman drove along, she said it passed overhead at approx: tree top level and at approx: 100 to 200 feet away from her in distance.
As the lady and the object passed one another she slowed her truck down and turned around to watch the object move slowly into the distance and as she watched it finally just blinked out. When the woman continued on her journey, after seeing the strange object, she told me that she was questioning herself, “did I just see that”! Later that evening and at her workplace, her and another lady went outside for a coffee break and the witness mentioned that she had seen something very strange when she was on her way to work. I asked the lady if she thought it might have been a flare or even fireworks someone had maybe set off. The witness said she has never seen a flare or fireworks travel horizontally just over tree top level and for such a long distance. There was no sound noted. The object was reported to be visible for approx: one minute. This same object has been seen twice on two different occasions in the Smithers area. Thank you to the witness for the report. The object was seen by four of us, but I have lost touch with them all and would not know how to find them. The object was silently hovering directly above us for an unknown length of time before one of us (not myself) looked up and pointed it out. All that could be seen was a boomerang shape consisting of some twenty lights forming an outline. It was too dark to make out the craft itself. Shortly after it was spotted it rapidly increased its altitude from a few hundred feet to 1000 – 1500 feet, The white lights highlighting the boomerang shape turned off simultaneously and the object ‘warped’ away leaving an orange chevron emission behind as if the entire acute angle at the rear of the boomerang was an engine. The streak dissipated quickly in less than a second and the UFO was entirely gone from sight. The length of the streak from activation to the point where the UFO disappeared was probably about 200 feet. It is unclear whether the ufo did in fact disappear or if all emissions and lights were simply doused and no longer visible given the time of night and its altitude. I know a thing or two about aircraft having flown them myself and this was no aircraft built by us. I have never reported it before, I don’t think the others did either because we were school leavers and nobody would believe us, plus there was no obvious way to do so at the time. It was November 20, 2022 at 10:30 PM. I was at home, which is in Blount county Tennessee. I was fixing to go to bed, so I went out to smoke a cigarette one last time. I noticed that the stars were unusually bright that night, so I walked to the edge of the porch and was looking at them when I noticed an object very high in the sky. I took many pictures of it with my phone, but only one of which showed the object very well. I had to enlarge the picture to get the object to be a good size on my screen. It didn’t really move because I stood there and watched it for about 30 minutes. At which time I decided to go to bed because I have to be at work at 5:30 in the morning. I have no idea what it was but you can tell that it was a physical object because light was reflecting off of the side of it. I am attaching some pictures; they are all variations of the same picture. A couple of them I messed with the brightness, definition, contrast, and things like that.
I currently work for the post office and have military clearance to deliver mail out to the Dugway Proving Grounds. Because I typically lose my cell service once I cross the threshold at the military gate, there’s a small dirt lot just outside the gate where I will normally sit and go through my emails before losing my coverage on base. That’s where this incident happened. It was 6:28 a.m. and something had caught my eye that was abnormal in the morning skies above the proving grounds. What I witnessed was a very large silver object with four extremely bright lights on the side moving from north to south and that disappeared into a wispy cloud. The cloud itself was weird. it was such a light cloud that you should’ve been able to watch an object move through the cloud…but that’s not what happened! Because of the timing—there was a solid stream of cars arriving on base—I can’t be the only witness to this, there have to be hundreds! After asking security about the incident, I was told that seeing things out there is a common thing! I myself don’t want to see another one. It has changed my perspective of what is, which to me is disturbing. If need be, I can draw what I saw. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
A woman in Silverton, Oregon, reported seeing and photographing an unusual, rapidly moving aerial object, according to her testimony in Case 125164. A cropped image of the object is reproduced above. The witness was in her backyard at 5:48 p.m. on September 13, 2022, when her attention was drawn towards the fast-moving object in the sky. She was able to acquire her cell phone and take a single photo of the UFO, which appears discoidal with an apparent superstructure and central, underside aperture. The reporting witness’s brief summation of the incident in the CMS Form 1 simply notes the object “was going at a fast speed but not fast enough for me to not take a photo. Came from the west and disappeared to the east.” Oregon MUFON Field Investigator Dean Fassnidge closed this case as Unknown Aerial Vehicle.
A man in Lebanon, Oregon, reported seeing a seemingly solid object that hovered in the sky for about four minutes, according to testimony in Case 124809. The reporting witness and his wife were outside at 10:08 p.m. on August 11, 2022, when they spotted the anomaly. The illustration above is an enlargement from a digital photograph that was taken at the time. The reporting witness’s detailed CMS description of the event sets forth what transpired: My wife and I were sitting on our porch watching the full Moon rise. We then saw this large object, either stationary or slowly moving just left of the Moon. Instead of lights we thought the corners or edges were reflecting the Moon. It could have had dim lights, but either way it quickly had us rattled. Crystal clear night, no clouds. Taking a photo or video with an iPhone directly at a full Moon creates havoc on contrast. I was able to adjust this to see a solid object, either a diamond or triangle shape. I then took video. The background is darker with video and is difficult to see, but it’s there. First, a short five-second video. Then I switched to 4K and took a 2:58-second video. This object just seemed to hover. No sound. Its light was not bright. It was difficult to estimate how big or high it was. It did have some size to it. It could have been 500’–1000’ up; my wife thought it may have been higher and larger. Again, the object’s lighting was dim either from reflection or some other light source on the object. After a few minutes it appeared to drift north and dim. We walked a short distance to get a better look, but we couldn’t see it anymore. We have lived in this country rural setting for 30 years. In approximately 1997 during a lunar eclipse, the same thing happened except the object was HUGE! Lower in elevation. Could have been hundreds of feet long. Right below the full Moon. Shaped like a barbell. The inward rounded parts were illuminated by the Moon and easy to see. My wife and I both saw this for several minutes.
I am a storm spotter with the National Weather service and accustomed to seeing things in the sky. During the “off-season” I like to shoot slow motion video of lightening whenever storms pass through. That’s what I was doing at the time. Since lightening is unpredictable, I hit record, let it run for about a minute, then stop. I’ll do this the length of the storm then review the recordings when I am finished. Upon review I realized that I had captured something on video that I cannot explain. This particular video I had hit record and realized I was in standard video mode and not slow motion, so I stopped it within a few seconds, switched to slow motion and went on. As such the video is very short. I’ve asked my peers in meteorology what they think it is and no one has an answer. That is what brought me here. I’m at a loss for an explanation. I had a telephone call from a couple who reside in Nelson, B.C. who witnessed an odd sight. They report that while traveling north along the Kootenay River on highway 3A they saw what appeared to be an egg shaped object which sat stationary over the river. Around the center of it was a broken ring of blue lights, they said there was a good number of these lights which were very bright and not flashing. The witnesses guessed the object was at an altitude of about 500 to 600 feet above the river. The husband who was driving wanted to stop to investigate this unusual sight, but due to his wife being frighten they kept moving but at a slower pace as he was certainly curious to know what this was. A short distance down the highway his wife looked behind to see if it was still there, but she could not see any thing.
They said whatever it was had disappeared or turned out it’s lights. The husband estimates that the object was 40 to 50 feet in length at the most. They heard no sound, but they told me the windows were rolled up in their vehicle and the radio on. One other thing they commented on, the object having a completely smooth surface to it, or at least the areas they could see clearly. The husband said he is kicking himself now that he didn’t stop to have a good look at the object. NOTE: The above image is real but from another case file.
I have been very apprehensive to tell my story, as I’m sure most are. One night in 1994, I went to bed around 11:00 PM. My two oldest children ages 10 and 12, were already asleep. My youngest wasn’t born yet. My husband was at work, so we were home alone. I woke up abruptly to a brilliant light coming through the bedroom window over my bed. I looked at my alarm clock—it was 2:20. I immediately became aware of a presence in my room. I was disoriented, and I thought it was a break-in. I remember being horrified for my children, and attempting to reach for my pistol that I kept in my bedside table. I suddenly became paralyzed, and unable to move anything but my eyes. I was slowly turned from my side onto my back by an unseen force. When I was turned over, I saw four beings.
Two at the end of my bed at each corner, and two on each side of me close to my head. I wasn’t able to see the ones standing at my head as well, they were in my peripheral but I had a clear view of the two at the end of the bed. They were grays, wearing black hooded robes. They were short, maybe four feet. I say that because my bed came up to about their waist. I could see their faces, and their hands. They were the typical grays reported by so many people. They did not speak, or attempt to communicate with me. I slowly began to levitate off the bed, still paralyzed. They never touched me, but as soon as I was levitated about a foot off the bed, I was slowly floated out of the bedroom and down the hall, with two on each side. They were small enough that they were able to stay at my side as I was floated prone down the hall. It was then that I realized there was a fifth one.
It was at my head, although I do not remember seeing it in my bedroom. All I could think about were my children. As we turned the corner at the end of the hallway, I saw that my front door was opened, and the same brilliant light was shining through the door. It was so bright, it was blinding. At that moment I was able to partially break my paralysis, and attempted to grab the corner of the wall as we went past it. That is the very last thing I remember, before waking up, sitting up in bed staring at my alarm clock. It was 5:00 am. I remember “knowing” that I was rendered completely unconscious immediately following grabbing the corner of the wall, in order to subdue me. I have no memory of being taken on to a craft, or what happened after that. I have only told two people about this. One is my ex, the one who was gone that night, and my present husband. I would like to know what happened to me that night—I think. I would be curious to know if I could remember through hypnosis. I had no idea who to contact. A reported sighting of a UFO with occupants seen through its windows, having a number of similarities to both the Squyres and the Knight cases, occurred in Connecticut, five years later, on December 16, 1957.
It was investigated by Richard Hall, former Assistant Director of NICAP and currently NICAP’s Research Consultant, and Isabel Davis, currently of the NICAP staff.
Mrs. Mary M. Starr, a resident of Old Saybrook and a former teacher with a Master’s Degree from Yale, told the NICAP investigators that she had been alone in her home on the night of December 15.
“I went to bed early,” she said, “about 10:00 o’clock. Some time between two and three in the morning, I was awakened by a bright light in my room. I looked out the window and there was what I first thought was a crippled airplane in my back garden.
But when I got my eyes really open, I saw that it was a cigar-shaped object, brightly lit and with square portholes, hovering just above my clothesline. I could see men inside. . .”
The object, no more than ten feet from the north side of Mrs. Starr’s home, was approximately 20 to 30 feet long and dark grey or black in color.
It hovered motionless about five feet above the ground, between the house and the tool shed. She saw no wings, fins, or other appendages. Through its lighted windows Mrs. Starr saw two figures that passed each other, walking in opposite directions.
I could see that it [the object] was so shallow that the men could not have been more than three and a half or four feet tall,” she told the investigators.
The occupants’ right arms were raised but no hands were visible. They wore a kind of jacket that “flared out” at the base, and their heads were unusual – square or rectangular, red-orange in color, and with a brighter red “bulb” in the center.
She thought they might possibly be wearing some kind of helmets. The lower portions of their bodies were below Mrs. Starr’s sightlines. She saw nothing else in the object, such as chairs or instruments.
A third being came into view from the left. As Mrs. Starr leaned forward to see more clearly, the portholes faded and the entire shell of the object began glowing brightly (compare with Mrs. Knight’s report). From the top end closest to the witness there arose a kind of six-inch “antenna” that oscillated and sparkled.
After five minutes of glowing steadily, the antenna was retracted and the craft began to move. It retraced its original path, gliding smoothly in the direction from which it had apparently arrived. It then made a very sharp right-angle turn, appearing oval in shape.
The hull had turned a dull grayish-blue and small, circular lights now outlined the entire rim. The UFO dipped and undulated, following the contours of a small depression to the north of the witness’ house, then tilted sharply and shot up into the sky at terrific speed, in total silence.
Since most of the other houses in her neighborhood were unoccupied at that time of year, Mrs. Starr was the sole witness to this strange appearance, although there had been previous reports during the preceding weeks of objects sighted in the area.
Because of her background, and because she had no conceivable reason to invent or embellish such a story, neither Miss Davis nor Mr. Hall could find any reason to dismiss her report out of hand. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
It was approximately 2pm when Harold A. Dahl, the captain of a coastguard patrol based on Tacoma, Washington, had his amazing UFO sighting. Dahl and his crew of U.S. coastguards were patrolling the southern end of Puget Sound, Washington – a place abundant with islands and fjords – when they put the launch into an eastern bay off Maury Island, a small, thinly populated island some three miles from the mainland. At the time there were two members of Dahl’s crew, his son and a dog on board. As they entered the bay, Dahl looked up from the wheel and was startled to see “six very large doughnut-shaped machines” in the air. He judged them to be approximately 2000 feet up, virtually overhead, stationary and silent.
Intelligent Balloons? Initially he thought they were balloons until one decided to descend, followed by the other five. This lone machine seemed to be in trouble. Dahl though – although the others closely followed it at a range of approximately 200 feet above. It continued on a downwards movement until it was directly overhead, about 500 feet above the water. They remained totally silent and Dahl couldn’t see any visible means of propulsion – they didn’t appear to have any engines.
Metallic Craft Dahl reckoned they were each about 100 feet in diameter and each had a hole in its center, about 25 feet in diameter. The clouds were low and thundery, but when the sunlight broke through, Dahl noted that it reflected from the metallic surfaces of the strange craft. However, there was not one brilliance, but many. In addition, the craft appeared to have what appeared to be ‘portholes’ equally spaced around the outside of their hulls. Dahl also reported what looked like dark and circular windows on the inside and bottoms of them. Dahl later said, “Fearing that the central and lowermost machine was going to crash in the bay, we pulled our boat over to the beach and got out our harbor patrol camera. I took four photos of these balloons, as I still thought they were. All the time, the five were circling around the one which was stationery. Five minutes passed, and then one of the circling machines detached itself from the formation and came right down to the stationery one.
It seemed to touch it and stayed motionless for about four minutes. Then we heard a dull thud, and the central craft spewed out what looked like thousands of newspapers from the inside of its center. But these falling fragments turned out to be a white type of very light metal that fluttered to earth, and also fell into the bay. The machine then seemed to hail on us in the bay, and over the beach, black and darker type metals, which hit the beach and the bay. All these latter fragments seemed molten. Steam rose when they hit the water. We ran for shelter under a cliff and got behind logs. My son’s arm was hit by a falling fragment of metal, and our dog was killed. Then the rain of metal stopped. The strange craft silently lifted and went westward towards the Pacific. All the time, the center one remained in the formation. We found the fallen metal too hot to touch, for some time. But when it cooled, we loaded a large number of pieces into our launch.”
Electrical Malfunctions When he climbed back towards the launch, Dahl found that his radio refused to work. “When I started out on patrol, my radio had been in perfect order. But now, the static was so great, I could not make contact with our shore station! Yet the weather could not have caused all that interference. Our wheel-house had been hit by the rain of metal, and damaged. I started up the engines and returned to Tacoma, where my boy had to be attended in hospital. I reported the adventure to my superior officer, Mr Fred L. Chrisman; but I could see he did not believe me! I gave him the camera and the films and also the metal fragments we had collected in the island. Later, Chrisman went out to the island to look for the 20 tones of metal which I judged had been spewed from the strange machine. When my films were developed, they showed the strange aircraft, but the negatives were covered with white spots, as though they had been exposed to some radiation.” Apparently specimens of the strange metal were taken to Chicago University for analysis, who described them as “metal that had fallen from a great height in the sky and landed in sand.”
Strange Geology! Some skeptics have said that Maury Island is rich in this type of metal as geological and natural deposits. Further analysis reported that the metal was an alloy of calcium, iron, zinc, and titanium. Also present were aluminum, manganese, copper, magnesium, silicon, nickel, lead, strontium and chromium together with traces of silver, tin and cadmium. This seems a very remarkable alloy to be found in a natural state all over Maury Island. One odd note added, was that the content of calcium was unusually high and that it had not been oxidized, as it does when heated – in terrestrial conditions.
Cosmic Protection One theory which was put forward at the time was that the calcium had been cast into the hull of the strange machines to absorb the lethal cosmic rays out in space beyond our earth’s orbit.
Enter the Men in Black Not only is this story extremely fascinating, if only by pre-dating similar events – the metal seems similar to that allegedly recovered the following month at the Roswell crash site. However, the following day Dahl was interrogated by what could be one of the first incidents involving MIB (Men in Black): According to Dahl, the following morning a strange man drove to his house and got out of a black Buick car of sedan type. He was dressed in a dark suit, was around 40 years old and in Dahl’s words, looked like “an insurance agent”. Dahl got out his own car and drove downtown – with the stranger following him. Why he didn’t use the stranger’s car for a lift is not recorded.
Threatening Warnings Over breakfast in a hotel, Dahl was asked some curious ‘personal’ questions; Stranger: “Are you happy at your job, and in your family? “Dahl: “What the blazes are you getting at?” At this point, the stranger merely gave a peculiar smile and proceeded to tell Dahl of the previous events on Maury Island. This conversation puzzled Dahl as, so far, he had not told anyone about his experience and there had been no one on the island apart from his crew – and he did not think they had been talking. “Mr Dahl,” said the stranger, still smiling, “you had better forget what you have seen, and stop talking. Silence is the best thing for you and your family. You have seen what you ought not to have seen!” The stranger then abruptly got up and left the hotel.
Further Verifications Kenneth Arnold later arrived on the scene after being asked to investigate the strange story. Arnold later interviewed Dahl’s superior officer, Chrisman, who told his own fantastic story: – Two days after Dahl had reported to me about these strange machines over Maury Island, I went out in the patrol launch. It was on the morning of June 23rd. I looked at some of the tons of metal on the beach. As I did so, one of the strange aircraft suddenly appeared from nowhere! It circled the bay, banked at an angle of 10 degrees, and shot up into the center of a cumulus cloud, high in the sky. I have never seen any aircraft before go into the center of such a cloud. It is very rough in there. The strange thing looked like a large inner tube to me. It was not squashed as Dahl had said. It had large portholes round the whole hull, and its brassy, golden surface seemed burled. I noticed, too, an observation window in it. When the sun shone on it, it was unusually brilliant. I picked up a load of the fragments of fallen metal and went back with them in the launch to Tacoma.”
Military Investigations Arnold then spoke to Lieutenant Frank Brown of the U.S. military intelligence, who had also seen the fragments of metal when he flew over the location in a B.29 bomber. He sketched, for Arnold, photos that had come to intelligence. One of the sketches showed a photograph taken some three weeks previously by Wm. A. Rhodes over Phoenix, Arizona. It showed a strange vessel, looking like the heel of a shoe, ie. parabolic in shape, with a hole near one of the curves. Rhodes had said that there were two tails of vapor trailing from the edges of the ‘heel’. One even more remarkable picture shown to Arnold looked exactly like Arnold’s own (famous) sighting of nine strange machines flying in formation on June 24th 1947. The startling thing was that this picture was taken by a Captain F.W. Banner of the British barque, ‘Lady of the Lake’, in mid-ocean off the coast of Liberia on March 22nd, 1870 – 77 years BEFORE Arnold’s sighting. It looked like a half moon with a tail in it, or like a half-peak in the center of the disc. The object was flying against the wind and was visible for half an hour. This account seems to have all the hallmarks of a classic sighting; strange metallic craft, fragments of strange metal recovered and even being followed by a MIB encounter.
At 8:10 PM (within 2 or 3 minutes) today, Sept. 15th, 2022, I was driving home down Route 40 coming from Back to School Night. After rounding the traffic circle onto Monroeville Road, I looked over to my left over a cow pasture and I thought that I was looking at a passenger plane flying very low, but it didn’t seem to move. I was also noticing that there were more lights on the bottom than an airplane should have. I realized quickly that it was actually a black triangle shape with white lights on the bottom and it had one directional red light towards the back that looked like it was scanning forward like a flood light or search light. Then it started to move in the same direction as I was going. It looked like it was going slowly, but I was going 70+mph and I couldn’t keep up so it must have been faster.
I followed it and lost it for a second while it passed close over the first line of trees. Then I could follow it more for a while until it passed over the treeline across from the Upper Pittsgrove school. I did pass one car during this pursuit. I tried to point out the window to the Triangle, but they probably thought I was rudely gesturing at them, LOL. I think caught sight of it one last time at the intersection of Rickwood Road, but then I totally lost sight of it as I passed through the middle of Monroeville. I didn’t want to drive too dangerously and there were too many trees obscuring my view at that point. I wish I had turned left at the Richwood intersection. I tried to take a video during my pursuit but, in haste I must have forgotten to press play or something, because nothing was on my phone. Perhaps somebody caught this thing on a security camera or something. I know there used to be a camera in the center of the traffic circle. I don’t know. I mapped out what I saw to attempt to scale it and plot the trajectory (attached).I used CAD software and scaled imagery based on the Google Map scale. My rough estimate of the Triangle dimensions (overlaid on the scaled map) is about 88ft wide by 111 feet long. But I’d love to take some photos from my car at the scene so I can recreate the perspective for a more accurate estimate.

Description: I haven’t spoke of it until now. There was one other boy that saw it because he ran out on to the street to see if anyone else saw what I did. His description matched mine. It was in November or December of 1971. I lived as close as one could to the Pickering Nuclear Plant in Ontario, Canada. I’m not sure how long the Plant was up and running. (I would estimate that it had been running 4 or 5 years.) What I saw was this: It was outside the atmosphere, that I could tell. It was at night so it stood out against the sky. It looked like a pinwheel fireworks. It was still and spinning, throwing out what looked like sparks or light tails? It had me mesmerized until in my peripheral to the right I noticed a single red light. I dismissed it and continued watching it. The red light began moving towards the pinwheel from a great distance very slowly from my point of view. At first I thought it was a plane, but there was no sound. As I watched it further it appeared to be approaching this pinwheel. And at the very moment it came in contact they both vanished. The red dot was much smaller against the pinwheel. So, that’s what I saw. Any ideas?
Comments: Unusual aerial activity has been reported over other nuclear plants and over nuclear weapons facilities. I have no idea what the witness sighted. Given that the date of the sighting is unknown and that the sighting is over 35 years old little investigation can be performed. NOTE: The above image is the witness rendering.
Here is a photo that I took one night (on or about 7 Feb 2010) while at our office in the MLG compound on Camp Leatherneck Afg. I know that ALL of my friends on FB that were with us saw the same thing. They were up there long enough that people were leaving. They were up there for a long time without moving. They went away for a while and then came back. They didn’t move or blink or make any noise. They looked like they were really high up but there was nothing to base that on. Pretty cool event. Now that I have seen it on TV it is super cool that we were able to witness it. 1. I was in my office in the MLG Compound on Camp Leatherneck in Afghanistan. 2. One of the Marines in the Company came into the office to tell us about the lights.
3. At first, we thought maybe flares or weather balloons, but they didn’t change alt. or fade out or fall. 4. As my attachments show there were 7 equally spaced lights in the sky that did not appear to move or change. 5. Very interested to see the lights, so many people saw them and didn’t even stop to look at them. There was a lot going on during the day but nothing to distract us during the sighting. 6. I hate to say it but after maybe 45 minutes we just went back inside to work. I have 4 more pics they are sharper but since I was moving, they make the light appear as if they were moving.

Brazilian pilot Haroldo Westendorf, 39, was flying over Pelotas when he encountered an enormous pyramid or cone-shaped UFO, with 8-10 sides; it was 100 meters in diameter and 70 meters high.
Westendorf was able to fly around the base of the object three times, at one point coming as close as 40 meters. Then, out of an opening at the top of the craft, a smaller classic disc-shaped UFO emerged and flew off at tremendous speed.
Three air traffic controllers and others on the ground also witnessed the event.
Perhaps the most impressive UFO story told during the recent Brazilian World UFO Forum was that of Haraldo Westendorf, who made news headlines a year ago when he allegedly flew his private plane within a few dozen meters of an enormous unidentified flying object.
Westendorf is 40 years old, a father of three children and a successful businessman. He is also an avid private pilot rated for acrobatic flying.
The following account is based directly on his one-hour presentation at the Brazilian UFO conference, which included several detailed illustrations.
Westendorf says he took off in his single-engine Piper Apache [correction: the plane was actually an Embraer EMB-712, the Brazilian version of the Piper Cherokee Archer II] from the city of Pelotas near the southernmost tip of Brazil on the morning of November 5, 1996.
It was to be a routine recreational flight of the kind he takes for fun whenever time allows.
On this occasion, he had been in the air only about 12 minutes and was flying at an altitude of 5,000 feet over a large lake some five miles southeast of Pelotas when he saw ahead of him an enormous aerial object. The time was about 10:30 a.m.
He radioed the Pelotas tower to learn if they could see the object from the ground. They confirmed that the object was visible to them and asked him for a close-range report.
Westendorf then decided to fly as close as he could.
Westendorf emphasizes that he did not believe in UFOs and says this accounts for his initial willingness to fly close to the object. He didn’t know he might be in danger.
When he got close to the object, he realized that in his twenty years of piloting experience he had never seen or heard of anything like it.
Since he had done stunt training in the United States and had also flown in France, he had become acquainted with some very advanced and exotic aircraft. But he knew that this was not an airplane.
Westendorf showed several detailed color drawings of the object, with his own plane drawn to scale alongside it. He describes the object as a faceted cone, flat on the bottom with a rounded point on top.
On each of the eight or ten sloping side panels were three large bulges, like triangle-shaped bay windows on the side of a house — but they did not look like windows. The entire surface was brown in color.
The structure was about 70 meters (225 feet) high and about 100 meters (325 feet) in diameter, big enough to fill nearly an entire soccer field if landed. His own plane, less than 6 meters wide, was tiny by comparison.
Westendorf says he spent about 12 to 14 minutes in close proximity to the object, trying to see as much as he could. Although the Pelotas air tower does not have radar, he believes the airport radar at Curitiba (nearly 450 nautical miles northeast of his position) tracked the whole encounter.
However, officials at Curitiba deny this.
The object was spinning around slowly and moving southeast toward the nearby seacoast at a speed of about 60 nautical miles per hour. Westendorf managed to fly entirely around the base of the object three times.
At one point, he says, his wingtip came within about 40 meters of the object.
After his third lap around the object, Westendorf noticed that the rounded top seemed to disappear, leaving what looked like an open hole at the top.
Then he saw, emerging from inside the object, a classic flying saucer. It rose sideways, its long axis vertical until it cleared the top of the larger object, then tipped down to assume its normal orientation and departed at tremendous speed.
Westendorf said that this saucer was about 10 meters in diameter, or nearly twice as wide as his own plane, and he thinks it flew away at more than Mach 10. The saucer showed no indication of noticing Westendorf’s presence nearby.
As soon as the saucer disappeared, Westendorf decided to try to fly over the top of the object. Brazilian media later reported that he wanted to fly his plane into the interior of the object, but he says he never even considered that.
He only hoped for a peek through the opening.
To get more altitude, he flew his plane several hundred meters away from the object, turned around and began a steep climb. He noticed that the object was now rotating much faster.
Then he saw brilliant beams of red light shoot from the top of the object toward the sky. He quickly abandoned his plan to fly over the top.
Then, to his amazement, the object rose straight up at tremendous speed. For the first time, Westendorf was scared, because he believed the object’s rapid acceleration might produce a shock wave of turbulence that could overwhelm his own plane.
As a trained pilot, he knew that air traffic controllers recommend staying at least three minutes behind a large aircraft to avoid such turbulence.
He estimated that the unidentified object probably weighed at least three times as much as a 747 jumbo jet, so its shock wave should be huge — and he was only a few hundred meters away.
He quickly began emergency procedures in case his plane went into a spin or a stall. But to his surprise, he did not encounter any turbulence.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration might have recorded an unidentified flying object (UFO) slamming into the International Space Station (ISS) on March 19.
A British UFO enthusiast named Graham claimed that the orb-like object that struck the ISS was “intelligent-controlled.” He explained that the orb appeared to have changed direction after the impact. It also stayed bright while it hurtled back into the darkness.
“As I was watching the footage, the object struck the ISS close to the camera on the station, I flinched as I was not expecting that to happen,” he said. “The crew was performing a port relocation in the Soyuz craft to move it to the space-facing side of the station to make way for the arrival of the new crew members.”
NASA clip shows weird orb hitting the ISS
The mysterious event was seen on NASA’s livestream of a port relocation maneuver by the ISS crew. A camera installed on the ISS initially showed the Soyuz capsule and a thin film of smoke against a black background. After a while, a white, luminous, “perfectly spherical” orb emerged from behind the capsule and zoomed past it, heading straight toward the space station. The supposed UFO then quickly bounced and changed its direction by drifting to the left.
“The object appears to change course and moves away from the Soyuz and the ISS at increasing speed,” Graham said. “Another thing that I found interesting is the object does not seem to lose any brightness as it approaches the top of the screen and goes into shadow. Is this an indication of self-illumination?”
The UFO enthusiast, who runs a YouTube channel called “Conspiracy Depot,” also noticed an elongated object that darted from the center of the screen. He suggested that this could be “watching over” the ISS.
Many viewers expressed their fascination with the footage, saying that the supposed UFO was unlike anything they had seen before.
“I’ve never seen one of these orbs in space either but have seen plenty in videos on earth,” one person commented. “I do think more than likely the cigar-shaped thing is a craft.”
Another agreed that spherical UFOs were common on the planet and added: “Also anything that doesn’t go in a straight line is definitely intelligently controlled.”
But not all agreed. Others opined that the object was just space debris passing by the ISS.
Disclosures are mounting with upcoming UFO report
Graham surmised that more information on UFO sightings will surface as June draws near. The Department of Defense (DoD) and other intelligence agencies will be submitting a report on past UFO sightings on the first day of that month.
The report was mandated by an order included in this year’s appropriations bill.
Graham also noted that disclosures about past UFO sightings had been mounting recently. Just last month former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe disclosed that the Pentagon has evidence of UFOs that could not be explained by known technology. These included flying objects that broke the sound barrier without a sonic boom. The ex-intel chief revealed that there were more of these sightings than had been made public.
