In 1997 My parents and my brother go on a vacation together. I had the option to go or stay home..I chose to stay home. So they leave and that night was when my abduction took place. I come that night around 11pm from playing basketball with my friends. I take a shower and go to my room to watch some TV. I hop in bed and I’m sitting up with my back against the headboard. Before I even had a chance to turn my TV on my bed began to vibrate. After a few seconds of that it started shaking and eventually it was jumping around so much at times only one foot of my bed would be on the ground at a time. This whole experience was about 30 seconds long then it just stopped. It freaked me out but I assumed it was something paranormal at the time even though I didn’t believe in that stuff at this point of my life. So after it stopped I would say 10 seconds later I get the most intense feeling telling me to look at my window. I turn my head so fast and there was two aliens standing on the roof of my 1st floor patio looking into my second floor window. They were probably 6′-7′ from me.
One was taller than the other. Proportion wise I would have to say the one on the left looked female because it was shorter and more slender than the one on the right. I didn’t get the best look at the second smaller one because when I made eye contact with the first taller one I froze and experienced tunnel vision as I looked into its eyes. I feel like my heart and my breath stopped for a few seconds, I don’t think I blinked. They looked similar to what people describe as greys but the ones I seen had a brownish color to it. After I stare into this aliens eyes for about 20 second I get another strong feeling to look to the right at the bottom of my door, and I did. I noticed the shadows of two pairs of legs step forward to the outside of my bedroom door. my hallway light was on an the bottom of my door had a large gap so the shadows were projected onto my bedroom floor. At this point I already knew what was going on. To be honest I kinda knew the second I seen part of one of their eyes. So after the two stepped to my door I freaked out and pulled my blanket over my whole body and laid in the fetal position. I did not want them to touch me, that was my biggest concern. I laid under my blanket for maybe 15 seconds waiting to feel them grab me. Then one second later I’m waking up the next morning face down on my couch with my legs hanging off and my shorts on backwards. I was in a total daze. I remember all I wanted to do was take a shower. So in the shower I had some soap run down my back and I jumped in pain. I had a huge oval scab at the lowest point on my back that was 100% not there the night before. It burned so much.
17 yrs after this event I was looking for information on abductions and came across a blog from someone saying they think they were abducted, woke up the next morning, took a shower and found a scab on her lower back and has a scar from it. I didn’t even know I had a scar there until this point and I still have it. One week later I seen a ufo for the first time. It looked like a star in the sky. I thought I was watching a shooting star until it came to a complete stop at the center of the sky. It just sat there. Then out of know where It shot across the other half of the sky in a blink of the eye. So 3 yrs later I see a full figured ghost 2 feet right in front of me and I told him about it and show me a picture of his aunt who hung herself in that same house many years ago. She was the ghost I seen. Sadly that same friend took his My girlfriend at the time was on her hands and knees to my right freaking out but cant hear her. As soon as the can of soda emptied I was able to move and here. This was 2am-ish in the morning. She said she seen 3 kids walk by the window while I was paralized. I did not see this. 2012 I come home from work and I see a shadow person standing over my bed with its arms stretched out. When it noticed me it got startled and jumped onto the wall like a shadow and ran towards me along the second floor hallway wall and turned the corner and went down the wall down the steps. It also made a weird mechanical sound too. 2019 I wake up to a drop of water hitting me between my nose and upper lip.
I inspected my sealing and it was bone dry. It happened 3 nights in a row. I moved my bed to the other side of the room. It happened 2 more night then never happened again. So 2 months ago I shared my story for the first time with anyone on someone you tube channel who does interviews. Before this time I was suffering from PTSD. I couldn’t sleep, or keep a job or a relationship. I was a mess. Talking to this person made me feel good and not so afraid. So I did 2 more on two different channels. Its been therapy for me. These people are now my friends and I’m part of a tiny ufo community now. So since I’ve been free of fear I feel like a new person and I’m eager to seek the truth about what’s going on with me. I purchase 2 security cams with night vision to recon me while I sleep to see if I can get an abduction on camera. I know that’s not how it works but I’m trying. Anyway I started noticing I was recording orbs, I have a month of amazing footage. The main reason I’m contacting you is because 0n 10/01/2020 in the morning I have video footage and still pics of what looks to be orbs shape shifting into aliens than back to orbs. These pictures are pretty clear and I think I have compelling evidence. Something is going on right now! NOTE: The above image is CGI.
A small mushroom-shaped craft crashed close to Edwards AFB. It was dull gray (gun-metal) in color with greenish lights, about 3-3, 5 m in diameter and 1.5-2m in height. 3 gray humanoids, including one that was still alive and a human female abductee (Lorraine Dvorak Cordini) were found onboard.
The craft, bodies and survivors were moved to Edwards AFB. The witness Debbie Clayton reported that she heard a loud roaring sound and then a loud crash. Outside she could see a cloud of dust several blocks away. She walked over to the crash site and while other civilians were studying the craft, the military arrived, weapons drawn.
One of the civilians had been taken photographs and an Air Force officer ripped the camera from his hands and smashed it but didn’t try to remove the film. The craft had no markings but seemed to be scratched.
There were no windows or seams, and it appeared to be molded in one piece. The texture was smooth. The military told the witnesses to leave or be arrested. The military then covered the craft with a large canvas and lifted it with cables attached to the canvas.
Once it was loaded, the military left and there was no mention of the incident in the newspapers. The cause of the crash was later established to have been a technical malfunction.
Lorraine Dvorak Cordini later was able to remember (despite the fact that the military attempted to erase her memory with the use of drugs, hypnosis, etc) that she had been traveling onboard the UFO from a mothership in space. She was dressed in a tight-fitting pink body suit. Three extraterrestrial crewmen were returning her to Earth in a small pod-like craft.
Lorraine soon found herself standing amid the wreckage. One dead alien was far to her left, barely visible from where she stood, another dead alien was about 20 feet in front of her. A military person was apparently kicking the alien’s dead body. The third alien crewmember was alive and standing about 20 feet from her, dazed, confused and disoriented. She too felt this way.
Suddenly she felt a jerk as a military person grabbed her arms, brought them around her back and handcuffed her. As they were hauling her off she received an image in her mind of the “captain” onboard the mothership. It was a tall, 6′ humanoid in a long white gown, short brown hair, female, which was communicating to Lorraine how sorry she was for not being able to help her and the other aliens, for if they did they would be detected.
Her sorrow was apparent. Other aliens were around her and the same feelings of helplessness and frustration were felt. The other aliens resembled small gray humanoids (similar to the ones seen in the movie “Close Encounters”). Lorraine was then thrown into the backseat of a black limousine. Her next memory was what surfaced in the hypnosis session.
Lorraine was lying on a cold metal table in a hangar. Three military persons stood to the left of the table. One may have been an officer because he had a different cap than the fatigue uniforms of the other two persons. Another uniformed military man was at Lorraine’s head and to the right and to his left was an alien whom Lorraine described as having a pumpkin-shaped head.
He had appeared in a childhood experience that previously surfaced during the same hypnosis session. In the childhood experience he was in a spacesuit… Lorraine’s child’s mind saw him dangling outside the window in a deep sea diver’s suit. This alien was about 4 ft tall, his body bulbous and brown.
His head bulbous and pumpkin like. Lorraine “heard” the alien thinking how great he felt about himself and how proud he was to be in the service of the earth military men… he had a smug attitude and the military man next to him showed contempt towards the alien.
She was very confused and disoriented. Her next memory was of being yanked off the table and being dragged outside the hangar. There she saw many flashing red lights and screamed, “My God, that isn’t a space ship that is the police, my God it is the police.” The military men then sat her on a bus and she ended up in San Francisco stranded and lost. Houston, TX 1973. One of the few UFO encounter cases which also involved animal mutilation occurred in May, 1973, and involved four women. Judy Doraty, her daughter Cindy, Judy’s mother and sister-in-law would have the most terrifying experience of their lives.
After playing Bingo in Houston, the four women were returning to Judy’s home town of Texas City, but first going by Alto Loma to drop off Judy’s sister and brother-in-law.
After dropping off the two in Alto Loma, the remaining four saw a strange light, which seemed to be hovering in the night sky. The sight was intriguing enough that the four women stopped, and got out of the car to get a clearer look at the source of the light. They watched in awe until the light disappeared. They then resumed their trip to Texas City.
Eventually, Judy began to suffer from extreme headaches and anxiety. After being seen and dismissed by several doctors, she was referred to well-known Ufologist and hypnotist Dr. Leo Sprinkle. Sprinkle’s previous experience with the UFO enigma led him to recommend hypnosis as a way to relieve Judy of her emotional trauma. There can be little doubt that Sprinkle suspected an abduction from the beginning.
Under hypnosis, it was revealed that Judy had apparently been abducted aboard an extra-terrestrial spacecraft. Judy went on in detail, describing how a cow was taken up into the craft and methodically mutilated by two “small entities.” During the hypnotic regression, Judy described the unusual sensation of being in two places at once. She said that she was still standing beside her car after they stopped to watch the strange light in the sky.
However, Judy also said that at the same time, she was in a strange chamber watching the gruesome experiment unfolding before her eyes. Footage of this regression was included in Linda Moulton-Howe’s award-winning documentary “Strange Harvests.”
In a 1989 interview on 21st Century Radio, Linda Howe divulged what had been learned from the experience of Judy Doraty:
“Judy described . . . in a pale beam of yellow light, a small brown and white calf being taken up into a craft. Then, in an extraordinary way, [Judy) was inside the craft, and she watches the calf have pieces of it excised: the tongue, the sex organs, the eyes…?”
Some of Sprinkle’s hypnosis session is included below:
Sprinkle asks, “Is there anyone around you?” There was this long, almost forty-five-second pause, and then she said: “two little men.”
“[The two beings) were about three and a half to four feet tall; grey creatures with large egg-shaped heads.”
“It’s like a spotlight shining down on the back of my car. And it’s like it has substance to it. I can see an animal being taken up in this. I can see it squirming and trying to get free. And it’s like it’s being sucked up.”
She then went on to mention seeing her daughter Cindy on an ‘operating’ table.
She went on:
“They don’t listen, they just ignore me….go about their work as if it’s nothing. They don’t seem to have any emotions. They don’t seem to care. They just take some samples from her…”
It would be a number of years later when Judy’s daughter Cindy would also undergo regressive hypnosis. Her session only corroborated her mother’s.
Statement by Judy Doraty on February 01, 2003 at 19:48:28:
First I must say there is no doubt that abductions exist. My abduction took place in 1973. There were 16 eye witnesses to the craft, though not all remember an abduction. My daughter who was 14 at the time and myself. This was first reported to Ellington airforce base in Texas, who denied anything was on radar at the time. Our abduction was also returning from a bingo game in Houston, to our home in Texas City, first going by Alta Loma to drop off sister and brother in law.
There was another sighting of three people coming from a bingo game in Houston that got burned by the effects of the sighting. Our sighting was almost a year before theirs. So much happened that night I would not attempt to go in detail, we were all changed and have never been the same since. We were first ridiculed so much by others who were not present (family mostly) I did not talk about it for a few years.
Then my husband returned home from Viet Nam and we were stationed in Yuma, AZ. I somehow heard about APRO. I called them and told them about my sighting and the very next day, a Mr. Daugherty and his wife and a doctor. who had experience in hypnosis named Rose Tennant came to my house and spent the entire day going over what happened.
Dr. Tenant regressed me and a few details came out or shall I say surfaced. I had been having terrible migraines, and just the amount of surfacing relieved much. I know I remembered a formula that was given to me by the small gray alien. I think that is what caused a lot of problems. I did not say anything to anyone else as I was still gun-shy and afraid of ridicule.
A few years later I got a call from a lady Named Linda Howe. We talked a long time her trying to convince me I needed to be regressed again for a TV documentary she was doing called the Strange Harvest.
For some reason I began to trust her as she convinced me she believed what I was saying.
And as all abductees know this is one of the most important things to help one get on with their life. In my abduction I witnessed a small calf being transported in a LARGE CRAFT. At that time I somehow was teleported or astroprojected or something, as I was in the craft seeing what was going on as well as standing by my car I had gotten out of to see what the huge light was that had been pacing our car for about twenty miles or so. Anyway I allowed a DR. Leo Sprinkle from the University of Wyoming to do his regression.
It was about a three hour regression, I fulfilled MS. Howe’s agenda she got an Emma for her documentary, but I was left with all the information in my head that still needed syphoning. I asked her to help me write a book to be able to tell the amazing things that I was told and shown. She agreed and then kept putting it off.
Both her and Dr. Sprinkle used my case for their own agenda and had little else to say to me. I guess I am trying to warn all of you to be careful who you trust. My main concern was I always wanted my abduction to be presented in a way that it would not be construed as a crazy woman venting her boredom.
So again I pulled myself in a shell and talked to no one. I was contacted by Sightings to do a follow up and I called Linda Howe she told me it would make the story unbelievable to the average person and I should not do it, so I turned them down. Later I learned she a a rift with Mr. Wrinklier and that was the only reason she did not want me to be on the show.
Then about ten years ago I was told by someone in the UFO community who was familiar with my case that Ms. Howe had gone to Kirkland airforce base was warned to keep my mouth shut but Ms. Howe never told this to me. She told a ufologist who called me. In other words the government did not want me to say anything about a formula I was given.
I became frightened and this is the first time I have shared anything. I hope some one reads this that will contact me and give me advice or help as the abduction is 30 years old, I am 63 and before I die I would love to know what many already know, and why they do not want my story told…thanks for listening. The 1973 UFO sighting of Lyndia Morel Lyndia Morel, a masseuse at the Swedish Sauna in Manchester, New Hampshire, signed out from work at 2:45 A.M. on Friday morning, November 2, 1973. She stopped and had coffee with a friend, then stopped for gas and then headed for home in nearby Goffstown, about eight miles west of Manchester.
As she reached the outskirts of Manchester on highway 114, she noticed a bright light in the sky. At first it was yellow, but then it flashed red and blue and green colors. She thought that was a bit odd, but she drove on, thinking it to be a planet. After driving about a mile, she noticed that it stayed in the same place in relation to her field of vision, but that it seemed to be getting brighter.
As Lydia neared the intersection of highways 114 and 114A, she lit a cigarette. As she did, the light blinked out, but reappeared after she had gone though the intersection.
It reappeared in the same spot, ahead and to the left of her. As she drove on to Goffstown and into the city, the light vanished and then reappeared twice more, seeming to be a little brighter each time.
After she drove though Goffstown on highway 114, she was surprised to see the light reappear again, straight ahead of her, even brighter and closer than before. So much closer, in fact, that she could make out details. She could see that it was an orange and gold globe covered with hexagons like a honeycomb, with an oval window on the upper left. The red, green, and blue flashes were coming from somewhere near the center of the object, and she could hear a high-pitched sound.
Lyndia later reported that she suddenly found that she was unable to remove her hands from the car’s steering wheel. She felt that the object was taking control of her and the car and pulling them to itself. The speed of her car was increasing against her will as she passed Westlawn Cemetery.
The object grew closer and closer. When it was only a few hundred feet away, Lyndia could see a figure in the window. She saw what she described as a smallish humanoid figure standing behind a console of some sort. The figure had a round, grayish head, a wrinkled face, a down turned slit of a mouth, and two large eyes with dark pupils. She felt that he was sending her a telepathic message to be unafraid.
If she was, the message did not work, because Lyndia was terrified. Somehow, she was able to slow the car and turn into the driveway of a house just past the cemetery. She jumped out of the car and ran to the kitchen door of the house, ignoring a German shepherd dog that growled and barked at her. She pounded on the door and rang the bell and yelled for help as the UFO moved to a position across the street, hovering and watching her, still emitting that high-pitched sound.
Finally, the residents, Mr. And Mrs. Beaudoin, came to the door. They opened the door to a terrified woman who was covering her ears and claiming that a UFO was after her. The Beaudoins could not see or hear anything, but Mrs. Beaudoin called the police.
When Goffstown Officer Daniel Jubinville arrived, he found Lyndia’s car in the driveway with the lights on and the motor still running. He went in and listened to Lyndia’s story, noting in his report that she did not appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
Alamogordo, New Mexico would be the location of a UFO encounter involving Air Force Sergeant Charles L. Moody on August 13, 1975.
Moody was in the desert observing a meteor shower at about 1:15 A.M. when he saw a glowing, metallic, disk-shaped object falling toward the ground about 300 feet away.
The UFO was about fifty feet long and eighteen to twenty feet wide. As it descended to an altitude of fifteen to twenty feet, it wobbled on its own axis.
Then it began moving slowly and steadily toward Moody. He jumped into his car but was unable to start it. The UFO came to a stop about seventy feet away. Moody could hear a high-pitched humming sound. He noticed a rectangular window in the craft through which he could see shadows resembling human forms. The noise stopped and he felt a numbness crawling over his body.
The next thing he would remember was seeing the object rising up into the sky and disappearing into the distance.
Moody turned the ignition key and his car started immediately. Terrified, he drove off quickly. When he arrived home, he noticed, to his surprise, that the time was 3:00 A. M. He felt that he had somehow lost about one and a half hours. The following day Moody experienced a pain in his lower back.
Within a few days, a rash broke out over his lower body. Upon the recommendation of a physician, he began to practice self-hypnosis in an effort to recall what had occurred during the lost time period.
Over the next few weeks, he was able to piece together an almost complete picture of the events. According to Moody’s subsequent recollection, after being overcome by numbness on August 13, 1975, he had observed two beings approaching his car.
About six feet tall, the creatures wore skintight black clothing. After a brief scuffle with them, he was rendered unconscious. He awoke on a slab inside the craft. His limbs felt leaden and immovable. Next to him stood the alien leader.
The latter was distinguishable from Moody’s two captors by his short stature of about five feet, and the silvery white color of his suit. However, like the others he had a large hairless head, a protruding brow, roundish eyes, small ears and nose, and very thin lips. His skin was whitish-gray.
The leader asked Moody telepathically if he was prepared to behave peacefully. When Moody agreed to do so, the leader applied a rodlike device to his back which relieved the paralysis.
Moody was taken to another part of the ship where he was shown the drive unit, a device consisting of a large rod surrounded by three glass-canopied holes. Each hole contained a central crystalline object with one rod on each side of it. One rod had a spherical head, while the other was topped by a T-bar.
As he moved about the craft, Moody noticed a sweet, stifling odor. He was told that the alien mother ship was situated miles away above Earth. He was promised a future meeting with the occupants but warned that closer contact with Earth men would not be attempted for another twenty years.
The aliens told Moody that he would have no recollection of the incident until about two weeks later. The leader placed his hands on the sides of Moody’s head, rendering him unconscious once more.
An analysis of Moody’s claims by Charles McQuiston, co-inventor of the Psychological Stress Evaluator, indicated that he was telling the truth. Investigator Jim Lorenzen, however, questions a couple of contradictions in Moody’s accounts of the incident. In an early telling, Moody related that the alien mother ship was located 400 miles above Earth. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
The authenticity of UFO cases is usually judged by the respectability of its reporters, especially those dealing with abductions. That being the case, the report of an extraordinary series of events from three women from Stanford, Kentucky is highly regarded.
It would be on January, 6, 1976 that Mona Stafford, Louise Smith, and Elaine Thomas would have a terrifying experience with a UFO and alien beings.
The added strength of a well-conducted investigation make this one of the most quoted events in UFO annals world-wide. This report would include not only abduction, but other validating sightings, physical evidence, animal reaction, and electromagnetic effects.
Not only was this case fully reported and researched, it was followed up on; determining the long-range effects on the health and lives of these three well-regarded women.
January 6 was Mona Stafford’s 36th birthday. She was joined by her best friends Louise Smith and Elaine Thomas to celebrate the event, and just have a friendly dinner together. The three good friends took their dinner plans to the Redwood restaurant, which was located south of Lancaster, Kentucky on U.S. 27, thirty-five miles from their hometown of Liberty.
As the three finished their dinner, they started what they thought would be a nice, pleasant drive back to their houses. Little did they know what lie in store for them in what would be a night they would never… could never forget.
As the began journey, it was 38 degrees, with a south wind of 15 mph, and a visibility of 15 miles.
Leaving the Redwood eatery at 11:15, the three women were in a jovial mood as Louise Smith sat behind the wheel of her 1967 Chevy Nova. It should be noted that none of the three had any beer or liquor to drink that night. Leaving Stanford and heading for Hustonville on Highway 78, the three suddenly see a “bright, red” object in the clear, night sky.
The sighting frightened Mona, who thought it was an airplane on fire, and heading for a crash landing. As the glowing object came closer, Smith lost control of the automobile…
The little Chevy was now going 85 mph, a speed never traveled before by Smith. In a panic, she cries, “I can’t hold the car on the road.”
Mona reaches over and tries to help her, thinking that something is wrong with the steering, but she cannot control it either. The car continued its high rate of speed without deviation.
Later, Louise would state, “My foot wasn’t even on the gas pedal.” In a moment, the unknown object was frighteningly close to the Chevy. It followed from behind for a short time, then flipped on its end, coming extremely close to the driver side.
All three women would later recall the same thing. What they were looking at was an enormous, metallic, disc-shaped object with a dome on top, and a ring of red lights around its midsection. The women all saw it close enough to see a yellow, blinking light on its underbelly.
The UFO hung over the driver side of the car for a time before it moved ahead of it on the highway. As it did, a bluish-white light shot into the car, lighting up the interior of the vehicle. Later, Mrs. Smith would describe the inside of their car as being filled with “a haze like air, sort of a fog.”
In a second, all three women suffered from a burning sensation so strong that they could not open their eyes from the irritation. The last thing in the memory of Smith, Stafford, and Thomas was being backed into a pasture entrance in a “crazy manner.”
The entry was flanked on both sides by an old stone wall.
One hour and 20 minutes later, the three found themselves back in the little Chevy, again driving toward Liberty. They were shaken and tense with exposed areas of flesh; painful from the burns.
The three frightened and scared ladies finally arrived at Mrs. Smith’s home, and when they entered they noticed that the clock in the kitchen showed 1:20 A.M., confirming the trip of 35 miles had taken just over two hours. Normally it took about 45 minutes.
They immediately went to the house of their neighbor, Lowell Lee, who confirmed the time loss. Confused as to what to do next, they called the Police station. The next day, they phoned the Navy recruiting station.
Neither of the two calls afforded them any aid. The Navy station did give some of the details of the event to a Lexington TV station. The story quickly reached the press, and was given headline status. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
On April 25, 1977 in Pampa Lluscuma (near Putre), Chile a soldier was in shock after a strange, five-day saga with a UFO. Six members of an army patrol saw two bright objects descending from the sky.
Cpl. Armando Valdes, the patrol leader, set out alone to investigate and, according to the men, simply vanished. Fifteen minutes later, they said, he reappeared, tried to speak and passed out.
The date on his watch had been advanced five days, and he now had about a week’s growth of beard.
Incident: “You don’t know who we are or where we come from but we will be back soon.” These are the strange words uttered by Corporal Armando Valdes, leader of a Chilean military patrol. Just some 15 minutes previously he had been subjected to a mysterious UFO encounter at Pampa Lluscuma near Putre in Chile.
The date was April 25, 1977, and the time about 4:00 AM. Putre is 50 air miles ENE of Arica, a larger city in Chile.
Corporal Valdes was in charge of a patrol on routine assignment near Putre in the early morning hours of April 25, 1977. He and his six-man patrol were sitting around a campfire alongside a wall of stones and mud at the secret army post of Pampa Lluscuma.
They were talking and singing quite a while to stay awake.
Two of the men kept watch several feet away. About four in the morning one of the men. Private Rosales, ran back to Valdes to report that two bright violet lights had landed, one of which was in sight and illuminated the whole area. The light approached closer.
Valdes ordered his men to cover up their fire with blankets. The violet light with a red spot at each end withdrew and then returned closer. The patrol was terrified.
There was no sound with the UFO motion. The Chilean high plateau was amazingly silent. Corporal Valdes stated “after praying to God and ordering the light to leave . . . after demanding that it identify itself, I moved a few meters away from my men.”
The corporal moved toward the object. He disappeared for some 15 minutes. When he reappeared, he was shaking and his voice seemed different. The light had been illuminating the whole area.
As Corporal Valdes reappeared he was heard to utter the words at the beginning of this article.
He then became unconscious and was attended by his fellow men till he awoke some two hours later. The UFO also disappeared about this time.
While the unconscious Corporal Valdes was assisted by his patrol, his men made another strange observation. They saw that Valdes had a beard growth equivalent to several days without shaving. He had been well shaven before the incident. As Valdes awoke he exclaimed, “I don’t remember anything from the moment I left you.”
He then ordered, “Get ready to leave because it’s 4:30 in the morning. It was actually about 7 AM. His calendar watch had stopped at 4:30 but the date was five days advanced – to the 30th instead of the 25th.
These are the bizarre circumstances in the case. Many of the details were related some two hours after the incident to Pedro Araneda, a correspondent and lecturer. The presence of UFOs are not a surprise to Corporal Valdes. He, as well as others in the interior of Chile near Arica, often see luminous UFOs moving about the skies.
Valdes states, “The surprising thing was the way it approached us. As soldiers we are trained to deal with any situation. But this phenomenon didn’t seem to have any logical explanation. I would like to regain my memory of those fifteen minutes. I would even like to submit to hypnosis to draw out information about what happened.”
President and Commander in Chief Augusto Pinochet of Chile has prohibited further interviews with the soldiers. Medical, psychiatric and eventually hypnotic tests are planned for member of the patrol to confirm their stories. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
Avoyelles Parish has connections to a UFO mystery that goes back 49 years. Gordon Heath from Surrey, British Columbia was in Marksville recently to investigate the background of Lt. Felix E. Moncla who disappeared along with another crew member, Second Lt. Robert L. Wilson, over Lake Superior on Monday, November 23, 1953.
According to Heath, who is a UFO hobbyist, Moncla was on temporary assignment at Kinross Air Force Base in …(sic. Michigan)… when he was sent to identify and unidentified craft over the Soo Locks, which is restricted airspace. Moncla, in an F-89C, pursued the craft for about 30 minutes flying at 30,000 feet over the middle of rolex replica Lake Superior. He was flying about 500 mph when he was instructed by ground radar to descend to 7,000 feet.
When the unidentified craft was finally on radar it was noted that the two radar images, the UFO and the Air Force jet, were very close and at some point they intersected but only one remained. Heath says that the unidentified craft flew north and disappeared from radar.
Lt. Moncla’s jet mysteriously disappeared without a trace.
Heath, who is a computer systems engineer, has been interested in UFO’s for quite awhile and replica watches while surfing the Internet found the story about Moncla and the incident that caused the jet to disappear. To add to the mystery, there were no remains of the jet found and no remains of either pilots’ bodies.
Lt. Moncla graduated from Moreauville High School and received a BS degree from Southwestern Louisiana Institute. He was attending the LSU School of Medicine when he applied for a commission in the Air Force and called to active duty after the outbreak of the Korean war. He was the son of Yvonne and Felix Moncla Sr. and was married with two small children when he was killed in the flying accident.
There is a memorial stone for Lt. Moncla in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Moreauville. The inscription reads: “Disappeared Nov. 23, 1953 intercepting an UFO over Canadian Border as Pilot of a Northrup F89 Jet Plane.”

EXCERPT FROM “THE FLYING SAUCER CONSPIRACY”, by Donald Keyhoe
…Under Section III any pilot who reveals an official UFO report can be imprisoned for one to ten years and fined up to 10,000 dollars. (Title 18, U. S. Code, 793)
Three months later, in December, 1953, I discovered the second order, which carries court-martial penalties. For several days I had been checking on a strange story from Kimross rolex replica (sic) Air Force Base, near Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. The facts had been hurriedly covered up, after a brief Air Force admission…
It was the evening of November 23, and wintry darkness had settled over Michigan. At an isolated radar station Air Defense operators were watching their scope in a routine guard against possible enemy attack.
Suddenly the “blip” of an unknown machine appeared on the glass screen. The Ground Control Intercept officer took a quick look. The “unknown” was flying over the Soo Locks–and no aircraft was scheduled near that important target. Whatever it was, it had to be identified swiftly.
In less than two minutes an F-89 from Kimross (sic) Field was streaking toward the locks. At the jet’s controls was Lieutenant Felix Moncla, Jr., a veteran at 26. Behind him was Lieutenant R. R. Wilson, 22-year-old Oklahoman, acting as radar observer. Guided by Ground Control, Moncla climbed steeply toward the “unknown.”
Back at GCI, the controller watched the jet’s blip on his glowing radarscope. As it moved toward the UFO’s blip, the strange craft changed course. The controller called Moncla, gave him the new bearing. From the scope he saw that the F-89 was now over Sault Sainte Marie, though to the crew the city’s lights would be only a blur, quickly lost behind.
The UFO, flying as fast as a jet airliner, was heading toward lake Superior. At over 500 miles per hour the F-89 raced after it, out across Whitefish Bay.
Nine more minutes ticked by in the tense quiet of the GCI radar room. Gradually the F-89 cut down the gap. By now, the controller knew, Wilson should have spotted their quarry on the fighter’s short-range radar. Watching the chase, he cut in his microphone and called the flight’s code name.
“Target should be visual. Still bearing–“
He broke off, staring at the scope.
The two blips had suddenly merged into one.
Whether the strange machine had abruptly slowed or Moncla unaccountably had put on full power, no one in the room could tell.
But one thing seemed grimly certain: the two machines were locked together, as if in a smashing collision.
For a moment longer the huge, ominous blip remained on the glass. Then it quickly went off the scope.
Marking the position, the controller flashed word to Search and Rescue. Moncla and Wilson might have bailed out in time. Both had life jackets and self-inflating rafts; even in the icy water they might survive for a little while.
The mystery craft and the F-89 had come together far off-shore, about 100 miles from Sault Sainte Marie and 70 miles from Keweenaw Point. As quickly as possible, search planes with flares were roaring over Lake Superior. After a fruitless night search, boats joined the hunt as American and Canadian flyers crisscrossed a hundred-mile area.
But no trace was ever found of the missing men, the F-89–or the unknown machine…NOTE: The above image is CGI.
Three Contra Costa County, California boys say they saw an object resembling a flying saucer land in West Pittsburg, CA on the night of May 20, 1977. They fled when unknown creatures came toward them, walking like robots and surrounded by smoke or steam vapor.
The Center for UFO Studies, directed by J. Allen Hynek, considered this to be one of only three credible humanoid encounter cases of the year. Since that time there has been some second guessing of this case though it is a lesser recognized close encounter. I have also included 3 other reports during a small flap in 2006-2007 in the same East Bay area of Pittsburg:
Police officers and scientists who interviewed the boys said all three told the same story, in detail, in separate interviews, and said the three boys were genuinely and deeply frightened by whatever they experienced that night.
This incident has now gone down in the record books as one of only three apparently credible cases of a “Close Encounter of the Third Kind” reported in the United States that year, according to the Center for UFO Studies in Evanston, III.
The center, directed by J. Allen Hynek, has a number of distinguished scientists as investigators and consultants.
The center was established recently as “a place where people can report UFO incidents without fear of ridicule and with the assurance that there will be a credible follow-up investigation,” according to Richard Haines, a psychologist tor a government agency, who as a hobby helped investigate the West Pittsburg UFO sighting.
Haines was impressed by the depth of similar detail in the separate stories told by the three 14-year-old boys. However, he noted, there is no independent corroborating evidence by other eyewitnesses.
The boys are not expert observers (such as pilots or ship navigators). There were no UFO radar sightings that night. There were no obvious marks on the ground or magnetic changes in the earth at the supposed landing site when Haines visted the location a month later.
There is a chance this could be a hoax or some kind of illusion, he said, noting that there are many possible psychological interpretations of such a story told by boys from broken or incomplete homes who were out late at night, in a strange, dark place.
He noted that the boys reported getting only brief, ill-defined views of whatever it was they encountered. Further interviews under hypnosis probably would not produce more details.
For these reasons, Haines concluded, “I do not believe that the evidence which now exists, as of this time, warrants further investigation.”
This incident in Contra Costa County has gone into the international record books. People interested in the question of unidentified flying objects will be talking about it and writing about it for years.
For that reason, it is worth examining in some detail.
As a historic event, the incident at West Pittsburg is one of the last reported sightings of allegedly alien creatures to have occurred in the United States before the advent of the movie “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.” The movie made UFO-watching a popular backyard sport in the United States.
The three boys, then 14-years-old, who reported the sighting are:
• Lennie Young, who then lived with his mother, Mary Clark, at 10 Roberts St., West Pittsburg. He now lives with grandparents in Walnut Creek.
Lennie said he is familiar with the area and has spent “many nights” in the meadow where the sighting happened and “knows” that what he saw was not human beings walking in the darkness.
• George Ferrera, son of Muriel Wilder, of 320 First Avenue South, Pacheoo. He had never before been to West Pittsburg and came to town to spend the night with his friend Patrick, who used to live in Pacheco. Police said George was the calmest of the frightened trio on the night of the sightings. His mother said he still has nightmares about the event. “I think he saw a UFO,” Mrs. Wilder said.
Patrick Morrison, who then lived at 90 Bay View Avenue (around the corner from Lennie Young) in West Pittsburg. The boys fled in terror to Morrison’s home after the sighting. His mother, Wanda Morrison, recently remarried and they now live on Clear Land Circle.
Sometime before 11 PM, the three were at a grassy field north of Willow Pass Road near Mallard Slough Road, in an area between the Santa Fe Railroad tracks and the marsh at the edge of Suisun Bay.
They were considering hitchhiking to the nearby community of Shore Acres or going to “The Pump House,” a nearby unauthorized gathering place for local young people.
The pump house, which is near the reported UFO landing, site, is a castle-like structure of concrete and steel, complete with a moat and a bridge, housing the pumps which during some seasons lift fresh water out of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta for the Treated Water Division of the Contra Costa County Water District.
According to the story the boys later told to Haines and to Contra Costa County Deputy Sheriff Douglas Pendleton, they saw a group of bright red lights, apparently joined together, with a blue light flitting like a firefly around the other lights. They said the object flew away rapidly (covering what on the map would be more than three miles in about five seconds) and then came back and landed nearby.
The descriptions vary somewhat, but all remember it having a row of square lights, like windows, with one “window” larger than the others. None of the boys called it a “flying saucer.’ Young said it was “round but flat.” Ferrera compared it to a flying building. Morrison recalls lights blinking on and off and reflecting from the sides of the flying object.
Then, the boys said, emerging from darkness between themselves and the UFO they saw three creatures 50 to 150 feet away, barely visible in the light from two street lamps and a nearby liquor store.
Lennie Young remembers, “‘They were like smoke. They were black. They had no faces. I don’t know if they had arms or heads. It was like they had no clothes on. They were walking towards us. They were about 5 feet 6 inches to 6 feet tall.
“I’ve stayed out all night in that field several times and I know what people look like walking in the dark. They were not people, they were something else.”
Pat Morrison said, “They wore weird looking, walking slow. They looked like they were wearing long skirts over their heads. They were black. They walked as if they were linked together,” (like figures in a chain gang).
George Ferrera remembers them as “gray objects, with a kind of human shape, but no eyes. They walked like robots.’ George’s mother said since that night the youth has had nightmares and refuses to go back to West Pittsburg. “His friends had a hard time convincing him to go see the movie ‘Close Encounters of the Third Kind’ Mrs. Wilder said.
Haines said that as the boys fled in terror to Pat Morrison’s house, they said they looked back, and for a while the figures seemed to be following close behind.
Mrs. Morrison called the sheriff’s office.
Pendleton said all three gave the same story and offered to take a lie detector test. The boys did not appear to have been drinking or using drugs, Pendleton said. The deputy said the boys appeared to be genuinely terrified and one boy was shaking badly.
Haines stated that:” I found that the three boys had a consistent story with a level of detail present that does not appear to have been manufactured. If they had made up the story, they would have had to remember it very well. Their fright was very real,” Haines said.
He determined that the weather was clear and it was unlikely that the boys were seeing their own shadows reflected on ground fog. He said no American airplanes carry the colors described by the boys. He made a magnetometer survey of the grassy field and found no evidence of magnetic changes or scorched grass or holes at the supposed UFO landing site.
While the pyschologist was making engineering surveys, a well-known engineer was trying to probe into young Ferrera’s unconscious memories, but found the boy was not a good subject for hypnosis.
James A. Harder, a professor of hydraulic engineering at the University of California at Berkeley, investigated the West Pittsburg sighting in his capacity as director of research for the Aerial Phenomena Research Organization in Tucson, AZ.
Harder said there was no physical evidence at the scene and his talks with the boys Indicated, “There was nothing more we could recover other than what they had already talked about.”
Allan Hendry, editor of the International UFO Reporter said, “This is a 50-50 case if there ever was one.”
Hendry said he talked to the airport tower supervisors who were on duty at the time at Oakland, San Francisco and Travis Air Force Base and said there were no reports of UFOs-by pilots or on radar that night.
He said two aerial advertising firms in Oakland were not flying at the time. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
Tim Cullen is a hard working cement contractor from Yuma, Colorado. He was raised there, and resides with his wife Janet, and three daughters. Three things happened to Cullen in 1978 that changed his life forever. He suffered a terrible car accident, saw his first UFO, and suddenly realized that both events had appeared to him in dreams well before the actual occurrences. Was he then also psychic? “
The events that have happened to me over the past twenty-seven years have had an enormous effect on my life and what I believe,” Cullen, a practicing Catholic, told me.
“In a short span of time in 1978 it was revealed to me that we are not the only intelligent life in the universe, and it was also proven to me that God is with us always, without a doubt.”
On April 2, 1978 Tim Cullen dreamed that he was in a terrible car accident. On April 9, 1978, he and his friend Ken Ruberg, were driving on Highway 34 when Tim realized he was living out his dream.
“I thought about stopping and going back to townbut didn’t,” Tim said.
Seconds later, he rolled the car five times, breaking his neck on the first roll. Ruberg helped Cullen up out of the ditch, and waved down a passing station wagon.
They took Cullen to the nearest hospital. The event was a replay of his dream. While in the hospital, under sedation, Cullen dreamed of an encounter with a UFO. Returning home from a medical check-up in Denver on May 30, 1978, Tim and his wife Janet, a registered nurse, were driving north on Highway 59 near the Vernon Road junction (about a quarter mile north of it).
It was dark, after 11:00pm at night. Tim saw a large dimly lit object pass in front of the car, go behind a low hill, and re-emerge then, “It went out a ways, along side, and as I brought the car down to a stop, it came back toward us a bit. I backed the car up, and the UFO went out to the west of us. It came in under the power and telephone lines and hovered over a pasture.
“It was about a hundred foot long and twenty foot wide, and about ten foot high,” Cullen relates.
“It didn’t make any noise. There were two diffused lights that shone at the back of the craft, one a light yellow, and the other red.
We couldn’t see very good. We sat there and stared at it for awhile. After we looked at the two lights for a few minutes I turned to my wife and told her we might as well go on to town.”
Janet was five months pregnant with their first child. The Cullens have no memory of being taken aboard the craft, nor of any missing time.
“Now, when I think about it, when I turned and started driving, I did have an odd feeling, but it didn’t really register with me. I remember coming back to Yuma, but not looking at a clock. I was kind of shocked by the whole thing. I didn’t really think of looking at a clock,” Cullen said.
Twenty years later in 1998, while setting rebar at a job, Tim Cullen hit his thumb with a hammer. Sometime later, he thought the finger might be dislocated so he went to see Dr. Mark Hubner at the Yuma Clinic. The doctor suggested they take an X-ray. On returning with the film, Dr. Hubner asked, “Did you know you have a piece of metal in your arm?”
At that moment, Tim Cullen knew what the object was. He knew that he and Janet had experienced missing time on May 30, 1978. In 1980, Cullen experienced another encounter, at exactly the same spot! The craft hovered and two diffused yellow lights came on. Then one started blinking, and he stared at it.
“This can’t be happening!” he thought. “Not right here!”
The craft kept moving in back of, and out from behind a low hill. Then it moved slowly away from him. Figuring they didn’t want him to see them, he got back in the car and returned to Yuma. Again, in 1994, with his wife and three daughters, they encountered a smaller craft with a strobe light, about forty miles south of Yuma.
“It hovered off the road in front of us, and we stopped and looked at it for five to ten minutes. It moved around for awhile and finally went off to the north,” Cullen related.
“The girls seemed mystified by it, but they were younger and I don’t really think they realized the enormity of what they were seeing.”
Tim didn’t think much about UFOs or abduction before his experiences, and had never heard about Alien implants. But after seeing the X-ray, and knowing where the object in the film came from, he started exploring the Internet about the subject of UFOs and abduction. He joined an on-line encounter group, and learned about a man in California, Dr. Roger K. Leir, who removed what were reported to be “Alien Implants”. He and Leir communicated for over a year.
The ninth alleged alien implant was surgically removed from the left forearm of Tim Cullen on Saturday, February 5, 2000. The operation was performed at a medical facility in Thousand Oaks, California. The procedure was performed by a surgical team led by Dr Roger Leir; the surgery by Dr. John D, Matrisciano.
“I know nothing about UFOs or implants,” Dr. Matrisciano said after the operation, “but I think that’s what is needed in this case; to be objective.”
Removal of the small, “melon seed” type implant went very quickly, and smoothly. The operation was videotaped by The Learning Channel for an upcoming show. Recently, at a MUFON Board meeting, I saw videotape of the object that was removed, which was shot through a microscope.
The object was about 7 centimeters long and 4 centimeters wide. It is covered by an amazing reddish-brown membrane and has several long, proceptors (which were connected to nerve endings) on one end. A dark area reveals a metal core. When a magnet was placed a half-inch from the object, it literally leapt to the magnet! As yet, the object has not been sent to anyone for analysis. An appropriate laboratory is being sought, as are funds for performing various tests of the object.
Tim Cullen has become very outspoken about his experiences and about the object that was recently removed from his arm. Unlike others who have had implants removed, Tim has allowed his name to be used in the press, has given out his phone number, and has recently established an Email address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
On returning to Yuma, Colorado after the implant removal, Cullen told his story to Yuma’s local paper, The Yuma Pioneer, and addressed both the congregations of his Catholic Church, and his wife’s Presbyterian Church. He has also been on the Art Bell Dreamland show with Dr. Roger Leir and host Whitley Streiber. While at one of the church presentations a woman reached out and touched Tim’s sleeve.
“My husband and I know exactly what you’ve been through,” she told him.
Tim plans to talk with them. Another man E-mailed Tim and told him of an experience he had had. Many have come forward with stories since his return from the implant removal.
“A lot of people around here have seen strange lights in the skies,” Cullen reports. “
Yuma is an agricultural area. They raise a lot of corn, pigs, and cattle here. Many of the ranchers have reported cattle mutilations, several within the last few months. One lost a prize bull. Understandably, the ranchers are angered and frustrated about these events. They don’t understand why they happen.
Tim doesn’t like not being able to remember what happened to him when the object was planted in his wrist. He is considering going through hypnotic regression in California to see if his subconscious can reveal any answers, as it has in others. He now admits he thinks he has been abducted. Why is he being so open?
Analyses from seven of the eight other implants removed have shown that the membrane surrounding the metal objects seems to keep them protected from foreign object rejection.
“This could be a huge medical breakthrough for doctors who want to use biological, metal, or implants of other materials, in their patients. Several prestigious labs have chemically broken down the make-up of the membrane. With the proper research, funded by large pharmaceutical companies, human body rejection of such implants could save many lives in the future,” Cullen said.
“I’m coming forward because someone has to put a face to the alien stories, and cause more people to come forward,” Tim Cullen told the Pioneer. “The more people we can find with implants, the more evidence we’re going to have. We can study things a lot more and get things done; get rid of the stigma around it.”
Tim Cullen says proudly. “The truth needs to come out!”
Businessman Pablo R. was returning from a late meeting on an isolated curvy road when he sees an intense light up ahead and immediately thinks it is another vehicle with its high beams on.
Suddenly the light is hidden behind a hill and moments later it again re-emerges, still shining intensively.
He was surprised at the shade of light which was’nt white but very bright onange in color. The light disappeared again at a curve and then it appeared again, this time very close to the witness. The witness then slowed down in order to see the light better.
At this point he realizes that the light is shaped like a disc and is huge. The huge bright orange disc was on the left side of the road. The witness then decided to accelerate his car and drive away from the area as quickly as possible.
But at that same instant the orange light dimmed and at the same time the car engine began sputtering, his headlights shut off and the car came to a complete stop in the middle of complete darkness. He came to a stop and could not see anything around him, even the orange light was now gone.
Moments later Pablo heard a strange voice calling his name from the darkness. Terrified he began to tremble, it was the only time when he felt fear thinking that he was going to be a victim of highway robbery.
But suddenly he realized that the voice was calling him by his name, he thought that it must be someone he knew and in the darkness he now could see a tall, human like figure, about 1.80m in height, maybe taller.
The figure wore a tight-fitting semi-transparent coverall, which the witness thought was strange since it was very hot. The figure’s face was normal in appearance except for large luminous slightly slanted eyes.
Immediately the witness felt a sense of peace and tranquility as he and the stranger established a telepathic conversation. Using the telepathy the tall figure confirmed to the witness that he was indeed an extraterrestrial and meant him no harm and was on earth on a peace mission.
The extraterrestrial told the witness that earth scientists did not know about his planet since it was in a “dark zone” in which telescopes or other types of equipment were unable to reach.
He added that using our fastest spaceships it would take humans hundreds of years to reach his planet using our outdated technology”. They traveled using a concept that did not deal with speed or distance and was totally incomprehensible to current earth physics.
The surprised witness then pointed out that the visitor was indeed human in appearance; the extraterrestrial smiled slightly and said, “Of course, in our planets we are all humans just like you.
There are certain anatomical differences but they are slight. However what makes us much difference from earthlings is not the physical matter but the inequality of our evolutions, first mental and then astral and spiritually.”
The extraterrestrial added that humans were still evolving in the “physical plane” but were in the brink in initiating a mental and astral evolution and then spiritual evolution which will change humanity forever. But he then added that we were still a long way from this threshold.
The witness then asked if there were other different extraterrestrial civilizations, the stranger said, “Of course there are, many come in peace others to observe and others are not our friends, since the forces of evil and good exist throughout the cosmos.
Later the extraterrestrial added rather cryptically, “I am authorized to answer most of your questions, you see my contact with you was very carefully planned, take it with calm, remember the time factor doesn’t matter, this exchange will take only a few minutes of your time, you can ask all the questions you like, if they are concrete I will attempt to answer them.
The witness then went on to ask numerous questions, like why they didn’t pick some important politician to contact, the extraterrestrial told him that politicians were not in their interest since they did not act in a spiritual manner.
He added that his planet was governed by a council consisting of their most adept and intelligent of their species, it was sort of a one planetary government. The witness then asked if they believed in God, the extraterrestrial said “Yes but we discard the anthropomorphic concept which humans developed.
He then insisted that the witness did not ask any more questions about God since he was too high up to talk about him. He then added that humans only needed to “love” God.
The witness then asked which planets in our solar system had life, the answer was that eons ago there had been life on Venus, Mars and even on our moon. There still remain many hidden bases on those planets some of which have been detected by our astronauts and kept secret.
The stranger also added that there was an advanced civilization on Jupiters moon Ganymede, which was similar to that of Earths and was striving to make contact with humans. He also added that Neptune contained a “hidden” civilization which was impossible for humans to see.
There were countless inhabited worlds in the known universe which they knew, they had counted more than 120,000 so far, many less advanced than that of the human civilization.
The witness then asked the inevitable question, “What happens when we die? The answer was surprising, There is no absolute death. The different religions on your planet explain it very capably, although with essential differences.
The witness then asked, Who was Jesus Christ, the answer, “Somebody who you have not yet totally understood? How can we understand him better? asked the witness. Just try to understand this; his main message was one, “LOVE”, which is the way, the spiritual way, was the answer.
The visitor then added, humanity should not fear us, they should only fear themselves, thats were the danger lies. At this point the witness insisted in a clarification of the statement but the visitor remained silent.
Upon asking if there were extraterrestrials of difference appearance from that of humans, the visitor said, that evolution has not been equal throughout the Universe and there exists some marked differences in some species.
The visitor then spoke about his home planet, “Our planet has been inhospitable for thousands of years now. A thick slab of ice several kilometers thick covers it. But our ancestors managed to survive and under extreme hardships overcame the abstractness of matter and cosmic evolution, in that way we have been able to build vast gardens on the ice and build huge underground cities, in which there exists neither heat nor cold”.
Their main source of energy was a white form of cosmic energy which they called Abuchal.
Finally the witness asked the visitor his name, “My name is Naazra-Abuc. I am the second in command of the craft that you have seen. Forgive us for disabling your vehicles electrical system, it is a simple method which earthling will soon learn how to use.”
The witness said that no one will believe his story, but was told by the visitor that only he had to believe it.
Moments later the figure disappeared into the darkness and minutes later the witness saw a large luminous disc rise into the sky and disappear to the witness. The witness’ vehicle then started and he noticed that it was now only 0233 AM. NOTE: The above image is CGI,
UFO Reporting Center Case Brief
Ides of March Sightings
March 15, 1995
Traditionally, the Center identifies a given sighting by assigning to
it the name of the nearest city, or other geographical feature or landmark.
It the case of the cluster of sighting reports we received over the Hotline
on the evening of March 15, l995, so many states and cities were involved,
we are going to borrow a line from Shakespeare regarding the possible perils
of that date…
The first call we received was from Cannis City, FL, reporting that
two males were walking along railroad tracks near that town and were stunned
to see a luminous, white disc-shaped object streak across the sky, pass
below or near several aircraft in the night sky, appear to ascend back
up into the sky, and disappear to the north. The report seemed to be sincere,
and bore several of the hallmarks that the Center knows to be characteristic
of legitimate reports. However, it was so much like so many other reports
the Hotline receives on a regular basis that we were not yet alerted to
the possibility that other reports were soon to follow…
The third call we received minutes later from a gentleman in Jackson,
TN, who reported witnessing a blue-green “cloud of light” hovering
in the night sky. He had seen it streak from the northwest beneath, he
thought, almost solid overcast, hover for approximately 30 or 40 seconds,
during which time he could almost see some kind of object apparently imbedded
in the cloud of light. The object then began to drift generally to the
southwest, the caller reported, at which time it belched out a large “cloud”
of sparks, and then streaked southwest, quickly disappearing from sight.
Minutes later, we received a call from a sergeant in the Missouri Highway
Patrol communications headquarters in Jefferson City (“Troop F”).
The officer had been on duty that night at his station on the east side
of Jefferson City, when together with two Jefferson City police officers,
he witnessed an intensely bright, green light hover in the sky over Jefferson
City for approximately 5-7 seconds. The object began to descend slowly,
at which point its color changed to yellow, and then it simply disappeared
from sight instantly, like a light being switched off. The patrol officer
reported that their “911” emergency dispatch telephone line had
taken many reports from citizens regarding the same object, and one caller
reported that his cellular phone and radio went dead while the object was
near his vehicle.
While I was speaking with the patrol officer, another call came in from
a retired commercial airline pilot, who resides in Vienna, VA. He and his
wife were driving back to their home in Vienna, just a few miles west of
Washington, D.C., after having picked up their daughter at National Airport.
Their daughter is an airline pilot for the same airline that her father
had flown for, and from which he had retired.
As they were driving west (at a heading of approximately 250 degrees
magnetic) on Westford Avenue (?), approaching the exit for Chain Bridge
Road, the father and daughter both simultaneously observed an bright object,
apparently at some distance from them, streak down out of the sky almost
directly ahead of them, descending at approximately 70-80 degrees from
the horizontal plane. They both expected to observe some kind of explosion
when the object reached ground level, but nothing happened! Rather than
explode, the object simply disappeared from sight–uneventfully– when
it reached the horizon…
The next call came from Fairmont, WV, perhaps a hundred miles (or more)
to the northwest of Vienna, VA. A young woman called to report that, after
visiting with her mother in Westover, WV, she had just sat in the driver’s
seat of her car to leave, when a bright light had streaked silently over
her car at a breath-taking velocity. She added that as she glanced up at
the light, she thought she could make out the outline of an “egg-shaped”
object imbedded in the orb of bright light. The back portion of the object
was bright yellow.
Many other calls were received that night, and over subsequent days,
regarding what appears to us to be the same sighting. Thousands (!) of
calls reportedly were received by radio stations and “911” facilities
in St. Louis, MO, after the object passed over that city, and we received
two very convincing call from western Illinois, as well.
In summary, it appears that one or more egg-shaped objects, radiating
intensely bright green, blue-green, and yellow light, and periodically
spewing out a cloud of sparks, streaked over at least seven states, stopping
from time to time, and the whole event occurred in a matter of minutes!!
I would like to close discussion of the case by extending congratulations to Mr. Tom Eckhardt, and the other UFO investigators, of the Acteon Group in St. Louis for their excellent investigation of this case. From our vantage point, their investigation and documentation of the events that occurred over their state on March 15 was second to none, and we are grateful for their wonderful written report regarding the incident. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
August 27, 1979-Deputy Sheriff Val Johnson of Marshall County was on duty that night, driving not far from the North Dakota border, when at around 1:40 a.m. he saw a light through his side window. It was obviously not on a road and looked too glaring to be a car headlight.
He first thought it might be a small plane on or very near the ground. He turned left on another road to try to get closer to the light to identify it. Suddenly, the light moved toward him, travelling so fast that it almost instantaneously was upon his car (covering an estimated mile and a half).
Johnson was blinded by the brilliance of the light and heard glass breaking, then lost consciousness.
When he returned to consciousness, the car was stalled and had skidded across the highway. He felt sluggish and shaky. He radioed headquarters, at 2:19 a.m., to request assistance. Soon another deputy arrived, who called an ambulance.
The doctor who examined Johnson found him to be in a mild state of shock.
His eyes were irritated as if Johnson had suffered “mild welder’s burns,” and Johnson couldn’t stand to be exposed to any bright lights.
The patrol car had very peculiar damage. The inside headlight on the driver’s side was smashed but not the one to its immediate left. There was a flat-bottomed circular dent on the left side of the front hood, about a half inch in diameter, close to the windshield.
There was a crack in the windshield on the driver’s side, that ran from top to bottom, with four apparent impacts. The electric clock was running 14 minutes slow, as was Johnson’s wristwatch.
The shaft of the roof antenna was bent over at a 60-degree angle, starting about 6 inches above its base.
The trunk antenna was bent over at 90 degrees, but only near the top. No damage occurred to the car’s regular antenna on the front hood. Essentially, all the damage to the car occurred on the left, or driver’s side.
Investigations occurred immediately, both by the sheriff’s department and by investigators from the Center for UFO Studies. The police determined that Johnson’s car traveled about 950 feet after the first damage occurred.
No cause could be found for the event, including collision with another vehicle or a low-flying plane, a hoax on the part of Johnson, or anything else. In addition, experts from Ford Motors (the vehicle was a 1977 Ford LTD) and a team of engineers from Honeywell examined various portions of the damage.
A windshield expert, Meridan French, from Ford, noted after examining the windshield fractures that “Even after several days of reflection on the crack patterns and apparent sequence of fractures, I still have no explanation for what seem to be inward and outward forces acting almost simultaneously. I can only [conclude]… that all cracks were from mechanical forces of unknown origin.”
No cause could be found for the clock running slow, the peculiar antenna damage, or other physical traces.
Fortunately, Johnson’s eyes healed quickly, and he suffered no lasting effect from the close encounter.
Val Johnson’s own words…
“This is Deputy Sheriff Val Johnson… I report in connection with an incident which happened August 27th, 1979, at approximately 1:40 a.m., western section of Marshall County, approximately ten miles west of Stephen, Minnesota. This officer was on routine patrol, westbound down Marshall County Road #5.
I got to the intersection of #5 and Minnesota State #220. When I looked down south #220 to check for traffic, I noticed a very bright, brilliant light, 8 to 12 inches in diameter, 3 to 4 feet off the ground.
The edges were very defined. I thought perhaps at first that it could be an aircraft in trouble, as it appeared to be a landing light from an aircraft. “
“I proceeded south on #220. I proceeded about a mile and three tenths or a mile and four tenths when the light intercepted my vehicle causing damage to a headlight, putting a dent in the hood, breaking the windshield and bending antennas on top of the vehicle.
At this point. at the interception of the light, I was rendered either unconscious, neutralized or unknowing for a period of approximately 39 minutes.
From the point of intersection, my Police vehicle proceeded south in a straight line 854 feet, at which point the brakes were engaged by forces unknown to myself, as I do not remember doing this, and I left about approximately 99 feet of black marks on the highway before coming to rest sideways in the road with the grille of my hood facing in an easterly direction. At 2:19 a.m., I radioed a 10-88 (Officer Needs Assistance) to my dispatcher in Warren.”
“He dispatched an officer from Stephen who came out, ascertained the situation as best he could, called for the Stephen Ambulance to transport me to Warren Hospital for further tests, x-rays and observation.
At the time the officer arrived, I complained about having very sore eyes. At Warren Hospital, it was diagnosed that I had a mild case of welder’s burns to my eyes.
My eyes were treated with some salve and adhesive bandages put over and instructed to keep them on for the remainder of the day, or approximately 24 hours. At 11:00 a.m., Sheriff Dennis Breckie, my employer, picked me up at my residence in Oslo, and transported me to an ophthalmologist in Grand Forks, North Dakota.”
” He examined my eyes and said I had some irritation to the inner portions of the eye which could have been caused by seeing a bright light after dark. That is all I have to add except to say that my timepiece in the Police vehicle and my mechanical wrist watch were both lacking 14 minutes of time to the minute.” NOTE: The above image is real but from a New York State trail camera.
Sixty-one-year old Robert Taylor was a forestry worker in the Dechmont woods in Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland. On the morning of Friday, November 9, 1979, he and his red setter were doing duty in the forest when he was shocked to see a UFO hovering above the ground. The object was totally motionless, and silent. The object was dark gray in color and had a texture to it, with brighter areas reflecting above a duller background. The exterior of the craft seemed to morph from time to time, which made Taylor think it was trying to render itself invisible. He estimated the object to be about 20 feet in diameter and 12 feet tall. It had a ring of a sort around it, which caused it to appear like a brim on a hat. Protruding from the outside of the UFO were stems pointing up, and topped with propellers. All at once, two small spheres came from the object. They made a sound as their spikes moved over the earth. They came to a stop beside him, grabbing his trousers, and began to drag him back to the UFO. The spiked objects were very similar to the UFO, only smaller. Taylor could smell a strong, sickening odor. He lost consciousness. When he regained consciousness, the spheres were gone, but his red setter was still there. The dog was panicky, running around and barking. Taylor tried to calm him down, but found that his voice was gone. He was very weak, and when he tried to stand, he couldn’t. He crawled for a time until he was able to stand again. He finally made it back to his pick-up truck and tried to radio his work headquarters via his two-way, but still could not speak. Attempting to drive his truck back home, he got stuck in the mud, so he started a long walk of about a mile back to his house. He arrived at 11:45 AM. His experience had lasted a little over an hour. Finally, his voice was returning. He had developed a great thirst by the time he was home. Taylor would feel ill for a time after his experience with the UFO and two spheres, and he could still smell the awful odor from the forest. When his wife saw him, she was shocked. He had mud all over him, and his pants were torn. He began to tell her of his ordeal with the UFO. His wife urged him to call the police, but Taylor felt that they would only laugh at him. Instead, he called his job supervisor, Malcom Drummond. Taylor went to clean himself up. Drummond called a doctor, and he drove directly to Taylor’s house. He was so eager to hear Taylor’s story that he questioned him while he was in the tub. Drummond and Taylor both felt that there should be physical proof of the incident in the forest. Since the doctor was coming to check out Taylor, Drummond headed to the scene via Taylor’s instructions, but he could not find the right location. Dr. Gordon Adams would examine Taylor for his injuries. He found two scrapped places on Taylor, one on his left leg, and the other under his chin. Taylor had no apparent head injuries, and his body temperature, blood pressure, and other body signs were all within normal limits. Dr. Adams insisted on Taylor getting a head X-ray to rule out a concussion, and talk to a counselor, but Taylor put off the hospital visit until later. As soon as Drummond returned, Taylor joined him as the two went directly to the scene of the incident in the forest. Ground marking were obvious, and they called the police. Taylor, along with his wife, did go to the hospital for testing, but left when he grew tired of waiting to be seen. He had a trip planned for the weekend to see relatives, and was in a hurry to get things done for the journey. Soon, the press was aware of the Taylor’s encounter, and in just a couple of days, the story was known all over the United Kingdom. Soon, it would be world-wide news, and eventually become the subject of television documentaries, magazines, and books. In time, a plaque would be erected at the site, but it was stolen. The local police department was not experienced in dealing with UFO cases, but they did file a report with interviews of all of those involved. Since an assault was part of the case, the police were obliged to send off Taylor’s clothes for forensic examination. The only unusual thing found was traces of a powder, which was identified simply as contact transfer from the sack the clothes were shipped in. Police did a thorough search of records of military and civilian flight logs, and found nothing was flown over or near the forest that morning. The ground marks at the scene did not match any of the equipment used in the work in the forest. Two types of ground markings were found at the scene. The first marks were two parallel ladder-like tracks, each about 2.5 meters long, and the same distance apart. There were also 40 holes around the tracks. They were 10 centimeters across. In other words, there was undeniable proof that something had been on that spot in the forest very recently. Taylor was known by many people in the area, and they all viewed him as honest and responsible. There is nothing to indicate that he would hoax an incident of this nature. He did have a history of several illnesses, and surgeries, but there was nothing in his medical history that would indicate he had any type of head injury or psychosis that could lead to an imaginary event. A timeline done by a UFO investigator to determine the length of time that Taylor was unconscious proved that Taylor was probably out of it for about twenty minutes, give or take. If we take Taylor’s account as is, he was abducted by something “other-worldly” on November 9, 1979 for about twenty minutes. There has been no evidence presented to repudiate his claims. In November and December 1980, the eastern side of Britain was experiencing a major UFO sighting wave. There were chases of UFOs by police cars near the coast, a UFO that overflew an oil rig in the North Sea, and the wave culminated in the famous events on the East Anglian coast at Rendlesham Forest.
Just a month before these landings beside those NATO air bases, one of the most impressive alien abduction cases took place in the small Penninemill town of Todmorden, West Yorkshire, right in the centre of Britain’s most active window area known locally as “UFO Alley”.
Police Constable Alan Godfrey was on patrol on the night of 28 November 1980. Just before dawn he drove along Burnley Road on the edge of Todmorden looking for some cows that had been reported missing. They were only found after sun-up, mysteriously relocated in a rain-soaked field without hoofmarks to indicate their passage.
Giving up his nocturnal hunt, Godfrey was about to go back to base to sign off duty when he saw a large mass a few hundred yards ahead. At first, he thought it was a bus coming towards him that took workers to their jobs in town and that he knew passed about 5:00 a.m.
But as he approached, he realized that it was something very strange. It was a fuzzy oval that rotated at such speed and hovered so low over the otherwise deserted highway that it was causing the bushes by the side to shake.
The police officer stopped, propped onto his windscreen a pad that was in the patrol car to make sketches of any road accidents, and drew the UFO. Then there was a burst of light, and the next thing he knew he was driving his car again, further along Burnley Road, with no sign of the UFO.
Godfrey turned around and examined the spot where the UFO had hovered. The road was very wet as it had rained heavily earlier in the night. But just at this one location was a circular patch where the roadway had been dried in a swirled pattern. Only when back at the police station did he realise that it was a little later than he had expected – although any missing time was probably no greater than 15 minutes from estimates later taken on site.
Concerned as to possible ridicule, Godfrey at first chose not to make an official report, but changed his mind later that day when he discovered he was not alone. After breakfast that morning, a driver who had been on Burnley Road three miles further out at Cliviger reported seeing a brilliant white object and contacted Todmorden police.
The time matched that of Alan Godfrey’s. Furthermore, a police patrol from an adjacent force (Halifax) had been engaged in a stakeout for stolen motorcycles on the moors of the Calder Valley and had witnessed a brilliant blue-white glow descending into the valley towards Todmorden shortly before Godfrey experienced his close encounter. Their story, when it reached Todmorden police station, formed a second match.
Encouraged by this news Godfrey filed an official report, but was surprised when police chose to release the story to the local newspaper the following week. From here, UFOlogists discovered the case and a lengthy investigation was mounted by a Manchester-based UFO group.
Although Alan Godfrey had no further conscious recall of the missing time, he did have increasingly confused memory of the sequence of events surrounding the sighting (with an unexplained image of seeing himself outside the car during the sighting). There was also puzzling physical evidence.
His police-issue boots were split on the sole, as if he had been dragged along the floor and they had caught on something.
He also reported a previous history of seeing other strange things and having experienced at least one earlier time lapse as a youth—factors that UFOlogists have come to recognise as common with abduction cases.
When sure that all conscious testimony had been recorded, Godfrey agreed to be hypnotically regressed by a Manchester psychiatrist eight months after the incident. He eventually had several other sessions with different therapists, and his recall in later sessions was video-taped.
The doctor refused permission to the UFO group for the first session to be recorded.
The hypnotic testimony is very odd, and Godfrey was never to be sure what really happened. Under regression he told of the bright light stopping the car engine, causing his radio and police handset both to be filled with static and then to be swamped by blinding light as he lost consciousness.
His next recall was of being inside a strange room, more like a house than a spaceship, complete with a most unexpected large black dog. He was studied by a heavily bearded man who telepathically conveyed that his name was “Yosef” and whose clothing was very Biblical in nature.
Assisting Yosef were several small robot-like creatures “the size of a five-year-old lad” and with “a head shaped like a lamp”. They are reminiscent of the “Grays” of UFO lore; although with major differences.
Godfrey was supposedly asked questions, told that he “knew” Josef, and was promised a later encounter. But apparently he was not subjected to the more familiar indignities of abduction stories (especially from the US), such as bodily fluid samples and rectal probes.
Although there were periods of missing memory, the hypnotic recall that did emerge was a curious hybrid of mythic images, UFO case elements and dream like sequences.
When asked his opinion as to the reality status of this hypnotic testimony, Alan Godfrey was refreshingly honest. He told me he was certain that the UFO encounter was real, but he could not determine whether the story offered by hypnosis was a dream, a fantasy, reality, or a mixture of all three.
Unhappily, Alan Godfrey suffered terribly after this encounter. When I first wrote up the investigation (just before the regression hypnosis began) for Flying Saucer Review magazine in l981, I deliberately changed his identity to help protect him; although this was probably futile because the story had already been featured in the local press under Godfrey’s real name.
However, despite my refusal to assist them, a tabloid reporter traced the witness and devoted a front-page banner headline article to the story — read by millions over the Sunday lunch—which led to the officer being called to explain himself before his superiors.
He was forced to undergo medical investigation to determine his “status”, but was pronounced psychologically fit and healthy. Yet after some years feeling that he would never be allowed to forget his sighting, he took advice to honorably resign over an unrelated physical injury incurred during an incident in which he bravely intervened to avert a crime.
Todmorden, both before 1980 and in the years since, has been a hotbed of alien contact activity with several other major encounters having been investigated, including another abduction of a truck driver from Burnley Road only a little further out of Todmorden and on the same highway. written by… Jenny Randles NOTE: The above image is real but from Gulf Breeze Florida.
The video features Gari Jones and Caz Clarke (Primary Witness) talking about the Pentyrch UFO Incident.
26/2/2016 The UK Military went to Pentyrch near Cardiff Wales in full force to supposedly carry out an exercise over a populated area… however this was a cover story for for an actual real life event involving two witnesses who saw a massive pyramid shaped UFO appear in the fields behind there house.
What you see in the presentation is the complete timeline of these events proving this was indeed an event that happened. MAJOR Thanks to Caz Clarke for coming forward. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
On June 30th, 1983, I found myself face to face with something that cannot be explained, even now. I have always felt as if a part of me died that day and a new ‘me’ emerged from that garage. For those of you who are not familiar with me or my story, or for that matter, why I would even have a website to begin with, I will go over the events of that night one more time.
My two small sons and I were living with my parents at the time. At that time, I was making a little money cutting patterns for a neighbor who made and sold costumes. My dad was working 2nd shift at a local automotive factory. Mom and the boys and I had just finished some takeout chicken for supper and I was washing the grease off my hands before I left to go to the neighbors house to cut some more patterns out. She lived one block over and one road behind us so I wouldn’t be far in case Mom needed help getting the boys to settle down.
As I stood at the kitchen sink and looked aimlessly out the window, I noticed an odd light coming out of the swimming pool pump house. First of all, I knew the door SHOULD be closed because I remembered wrestling with the rusty slide lock. I had been out there just a few hours earlier, putting some more chlorine tabs in the pool floater. It was getting dark out so the strange light really caught my eye. It was not like the incandescent bulb that was in there. It looked more like florescent, white light. And it was very bright. I pointed this out to my mother and asked her if she wanted me to stay home. She thought it was odd but told me not to worry about it. She would lock the doors and if she needed me she would call me.
In the five minutes it took me to get in my car and make a quick detour to the turnabout in back of the house, to check on the light before I left, the light was gone. And the door to the pump house was closed. But the pedestrian door to the side garage attached to the house was now open. I do not know why I didn’t stop then and go back inside. I should have but I didn’t. I headed on to our neighbors’ house.
As soon as I got there, I called my mom. I told her what I had seen and asked her if she wanted me to come home. She said, once again, no, she’d be okay. I hung up the phone. Just as soon as I did, it rang. I instinctively picked it up again and somehow was not surprised to hear it was my mom. She sounded strange, frightened, and she told me to come home.
She said, “I want you home now.” My neighbor and her husband were listening to the conversation and at one point, her husband, hearing the panic rise in my voice, yelled into the phone, “Tell her to call the police, that’s what they get paid for.” Mom heard him and she responded with. “I don’t want anyone here but you.” I left immediately with a promise to my neighbors to call when I found out what was going on. It took me all of 3 minutes to get home.
Once I arrived, I pulled around to the back of the house again. This time I stopped at the sun room outside access door and found Mom standing there waiting for me. As I walked in, I went for the shotgun Daddy had behind the trash compactor. Mom made a comment about the gun not being loaded and I said to her that whoever was out there didn’t know that and I could always beat the crap out of them with it. I have to say, at this point, that I do not know what came over me.
I am no fool and at that time in my life, I was the biggest chicken in the world. If I had know why mom called me back that night, I would have never gone out back. I would have gone in the front door, grabbed my mom and kids and high-tailed it out of there so fast it would make your head spin.
She couldn’t remember why she even called me back until a week later. (About a week later, while she was doing the dishes or something like that in the kitchen, she suddenly popped out with, “Oh, I just remembered why I called you back home last weekend! I had seen a basketball size ball of light around the bird feeder.
It was very soft and I looked around trying to see if someone had a flashlight or something shining on it but I could see nothing. The light got smaller and smaller and as soon as it disappeared, I got the thought in my head to call you home.) See what I mean?
I took the gun and walked out into the dark back yard. I went to the pump house and looking inside. Nothing. I decided to walk out near the big garage out back to see if I could find my dog. (She had been in the garage attached to the house because she was in heat at the time.)
I found her. She was firmly lodged under my dad’s old ladder truck. I grabbed at her and tried to get her to come out. Normally, she would be all over me like a cheap suit. She was MY dog. But something had scared the hell out of her. She was yelping and whining and tearing at my hands to let go of her. So I did.
Then I decided I’d better check out the garage. Something had obviously freaked her out and whatever it was, it had been in the garage at one time. I went in there, gun first, cussing and yelling at the top of my lungs.
The place was empty. I looked behind old mattresses and everything else in there and didn’t find a thing. As soon as I had decided that I wasn’t gonna find anyone in here, I suddenly felt as if I was on fire. All the skin on my body started burning. It felt like I was covered with acid.
And I thought, “I’ve gotta get out of here RIGHT NOW!” I turned to run out the pedestrian door and that is when I was hit in the chest by something VERY bright and electrifying.
I have never been hit by lightening. But if I could imagine what it would feel like, I would say it was like this.
It felt as if I had first been punched by a huge, electric fist, right in the gut. The burning, electrical feeling slowly moved down my legs to my feet, out my arms to my fingertips and around my head.
Then, I could feel every molecule of my body vibrating. I couldn’t move. And I couldn’t see because the flash was so bright. I know I could not have tolerated more than a few seconds of this but I swear it felt as if this lasted for several minutes. I assume it couldn’t have lasted more than a few seconds. I remember thinking, “I’m DEAD! This is what it feels like to die.”
I was shaking and burning and I felt like I was vibrating to my very core. The brightness wore off fast. Then, the vibrating and shaking subsided. But I still couldn’t move. I was able to see bits and pieces. VERY much like having been ‘flashed’ in the eye by a camera flash.
I had big blind spots in my vision but I could see some shadow and some movement in the yard in front of my. I can now feel someone pulling on my right shoulder, as if to pull me down a bit. Then, I felt a stabbing, burning sensation in my right ear. And I could hear someone telling me it was unfortunate that I had to feel pain.
Then, I was OUTSIDE the pedestrian doorway but I didn’t know how I got there. I could see a soft, white ball of light directly in front of me. It was about the size of a basketball and is hovering about as high as I am tall. (5′ 3 1/2 “) The light slowly moved up and down, as if it were looking at me from head to foot. Then, it moved into the egg shaped thing and disappeared.
Just to the left of the light, I could see something about the size of the pool pump house. Maybe 8 to 10 feet tall and shaped like an egg. (Not very big as far as UFOs go.) And I could see 6 people in the yard in front of me.
They are at various spots in the yard. At the same time, they all seemed to line up and slide to the left, back to this egg shaped thing in front of me. They were smaller than me. Shorter. I thought they looked like children. Bullet shaped children. Bigger in the head and getting narrow at the feet. I couldn’t see much detail, mostly just silhouettes.
The rest of this event is still a blur after 20 years. The next thing I remember is hearing someone say. “It’s over.” I suddenly remembered my kids. I thought, “MY KIDS! Oh my God!” And immediately I heard the voice say that my kids were okay. I heard my name being called and I was able to move and I turned and began to walk up the lower porch steps, toward the back kitchen door.
With each step I took, the memory of what had just transpired, faded until by the time I reached my mom at the back door, I did not remember anything after I entered the garage. I said to my mom, “Everything’s cool.” And with that, she became animated again. It was as if she was standing there, in a daze, until she heard my voice.
I left mom and went back to the neighbors’ house. When I got there, she was upset with me. She said they were about ready to call the police because I didn’t call them like I said I would and they were worried that I was taking so long. It seems I was gone about 2 hours but I only remembered about 15 minutes worth of experience. I had no explanation for that and her inquiry just left me even foggier than I was already feeling. I didn’t feel good and told her that I would rather swim than sew.
(After the experience, I felt ‘icky’ and like I had to ‘get wet’.) I invited her to come swim with me and she agreed. She gathered up her 14 year old daughter and the three of us went back to mom and dad’s. As we were walking out the pool, my dad pulled up in the drive. He always came home at about 11:10 PM. I left to go to the neighbors’ just before 8:00 P.M. Three hours had passed and I couldn’t account for most of it.
As we walked though the back yard to the swimming pool, my neighbors’ daughter suddenly jumped and yelled, “OUCH.” She said she had stepped on something that made her foot burn, and now her foot was getting numb. By the time we reached the pool, she said her foot felt numb all the way to the knee, but yet she could walk on it.
We weren’t in the pool more than 10 or 15 minutes when we all started feeling nauseated, and my eyesight started getting real fuzzy, even though I had not had my head under water. I could see halos around all the outside lights and it was making me dizzy. The girls left and I went to bed.
When I woke up the next morning, I could not open my eyes. They were swollen completely shut. My mother took me to the emergency room. They, in turn, sent me directly to an eye specialist across the street from the ER because they didn’t have anyone on call in ER who was able to treat something like this.
This doctor was just across the street and agreed to work me in and see me that morning. He was stunned at the extent of my injury. He kept asking me if I had looked into the arc of a welder’s torch or the sun. I had not. I was given several tubes of cream and some drops to try to heal my eyes.
It took SEVERAL weeks for them to fully recover and to this day, my eyes are VERY sensitive to light. And my vision is very far-sighted. Sometimes my eyes will still suddenly burn and turn red, for no apparent reason. Fortunately, this only lasts for a few minutes.
For whatever unknown reasons, no one in the house even looked out back for the rest of the week. Come the weekend, 4th of July weekend, the rest of my family was all over to swim and have a cookout. My nephew was the first one to notice the mark in the yard. It was an 8 foot circle with a 20 foot swath coming off it.
The swath ended in a perfect arch and was exactly 2 feet wide. All the grass in this mark was brownish gray and wilted. The dirt was gray and hard. There were a could have deep cracks around the edge of the circle. I dropped a 12 inch ruler down one crack and we never did find it.
The first thing my mother said when she saw that mark was, “Oh, that’s where our UFO landed.” I just looked at her like she was nuts and I thought to myself, “What is wrong with her?’ Suddenly, as I looked at this mark, I began to panic. I could feel my pulse race, the sweat beading on my brow. I started feeling faint. And I started remembering. (WITHOUT hypnosis.)
The aftermath of this day was a nightmare for several years. I was ‘shell shocked’. I sat up at night, watching over my children and waiting. Waiting for something. But I didn’t remember what it was I was waiting for. I got sick and stayed sick for over a year. I developed life-threatening allergies, rashes, fevers, swollen glands, diarrhea, bleeding gums and my hair started falling out. My fingernails started growing thin, peeled and had horizontal ridges in them.
I developed irregular heartbeats (PAC’s) I started having panic attacks. Almost daily for a long time. And the dog that was out there with me that night? She had to be put to sleep about 2 and a half months later. All her hair fell out from the head down. She developed black, oozing sores all over her back, her eyes got milky white and she was obviously going deaf. Her teeth all fell out and her gums bled, as well.
When we took her to the vet, he was shocked to see how quickly she had deteriorated. She was not that old (about 6 or 7 years) and the way she looked you would have thought she was 20 years old. He advised us to put her down because he felt she was suffering and he could not help her. He figured she was ‘eaten up’ with cancer of some kind.
The mark in the yard remained there for nearly five years. Every year snow melted off of it. Animals would not walk on it. There were no bugs in the soil. Even when the grass finally did begin to grow back, the grass in that place was thick, rubbery and kind of a bluish green color.
The dandelions that grew around the mark were three times the size of normal ones. The tomato plants my mom had out by the pool, were the size of grapefruits but when you tried to eat them, they were so acidic the skin on your lips would peel off. And the vines were as big around as my forearm.
The leaves on a patch of trees behind the mark withered, turned brown and fell off. The power line above the mark shorted out and blew a transformer, melted the wiring and blew out the tubes on the Heathkit HAM radios in the basement of the house, which was right next to the place in the yard.
Eventually, there were a couple of neighbors who came forward to say they had experienced strange things in their home the very night I had the experience, and one neighbor behind us who witness ‘hundreds’ of basketball size balls of white light, floating through the woods around the night I had my experience.
Budd Hopkins spent a ton of his own money doing a very thorough investigation of that night. I sold my washer and dryer to get a ticket to New York. I was subjected to an array of medical and psychological tests and even passed a voice stress (lie detector) test. Budd eventually wrote a book about my experiences and my family, titled: “Intruders, The Incredible Visitations at Copely Woods”.
In 1992, CBS did a mini series of the same name, with some excerpts from the book as scenes, starring Mare Winningham as me. And later still, in 1993, my sister Kathy Mitchell, and I wrote a follow up book titled, “Abducted! The Story of the Intruders Continues.”
I think of my dog, and the fate she met. In my heart, I believe whatever she encountered that night was directly related to her untimely death. And there is a part of me that STILL worries I will eventually have some kind of cancer related to my experience of that night. There is nothing I can do about it right now, except take good care of myself and hope for the best.
I often wonder what my life would have been like had I not had the experience. I can’t imagine. Truthfully, despite the obvious trauma, I don’t think I would change a thing. I have become a much stronger person. I don’t give credit to the experience or the ‘Intruders’, other than it FORCED ME to be strong, to survive and grow. And I kinda like that about me.
That is the story of this day. You know when you can name the date and time of an event, it MUST have made quite an impression on you.
June 30th, 1983, made such an impression on me that it actually crushed the old me while molding the new one. Now THAT’S a defining moment. Peace, Deb
NOTE: The above image is real but from another sighting.
As 77-year-old Alfred Burtoo was fishing the Basingstoke Canal in the peaceful early hours of the morning of August 12, 1983, he saw a brilliant light descend from the sky and settle on the nearby towpath.
Thinking it must be a helicopter from the nearby MOD base, he took no notice, and poured himself a cup of tea from his Thermos flask. Then his dog, Tiny, began whining furiously and two figures emerged from the darkness.
“They were about four foot high, dressed in pale green coveralls from head to foot,” Burtoo told reporters. “And they had helmets of the same colour with a visor that was blacked out.”
The strangers gestured to Burtoo to accompany them. Calmly setting down his cup of tea, the intrepid pensioner follow them along the towpath towards a saucer-shaped craft. “I was 77 and didn’t have much to lose,” he later explained.
Inside the Saucer
Climbing up a set of steps into the saucer, Burtoo discovered that the ceiling was so low he had to stoop. He found himself inside a black, metallic octagonal chamber, which smelt slightly of decaying meat.
“I did not see any signs of nuts or bolts, nor did I see any seams where the object had been put together,” he recalled. “What did interest me most of all was a shaft that rose up from the floor to the ceiling. The shaft was about four feet in circumference, and on the right-hand side stood two forms similar to those that walked along the towpath with me.”
One of the beings told the old man to stand beneath an orange light, which appeared to scan him for a few minutes. “What is your age?” asked the entity, in a “sing-song” voice which sounded like “a mixture of Chinese and Russian”. When he replied that he was 78, it declared: “You can go. You are too old and infirm for our purposes.” Bemused, Burtoo climbed down from the saucer and returned to his fishing spot.
“The first thing I did… was to pick up my cold cup of tea and drink it,” he recalled. “And then I heard this whining noise, just as if an electric generator was starting up, and this thing lifted up then took off at a very high speed.”
Apparently unfazed by his bizarre encounter, Burtoo resumed the task at hand. “I got into what I had come out for – the fishing!” Despite his rather curt reception, he later declared his nocturnal adventure to have been “the greatest experience of my life”.
Alfred Burtoo is not alone in having apparently failed an alien medical test. American abductee Carl Higdon believed that he had been rejected as a guinea pig for a hybrid breeding program because his captors discovered that he had had a vasectomy.
Likewise, Luis Oswald, an elderly Brazilian abducted in 1979 by beings who claimed to be from “a small galaxy near Neptune”, reported that she had endured a lengthy examination then been told she was “of no use”. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
Here is what happened to myself and my best friend back in the summer of 1984. The interaction we experienced took place on Whaley Lake in Holmes, New York (southern Dutchess county).
This event happened right after one of the incidents at Indian Point Nuclear facility, which is about 30 miles southwest of our location. I and my best friend decided to go out to look at stars as it was clear that night, so at dusk 8:30-ish we got in a small aluminum row boat powered by an electric motor and set out across the lake towards the train tracks (1/3 mile east).
There was a lot of activity in the sky such as heat lightning, planes and what sounded like the end of a fireworks show far off in the distance-the low thud type explosions. After about a 20 minute ride in the boat, we were looking in opposite directions of the sky and I saw a searchlight scanning the railroad tracks on the south middle side of the lake and told my friend who laughed and said I was seeing things.
Then I told him it was back and this time he saw it also-when we discovered there was no sound and therefore no helicopter or plane for it to come from, we freaked out, then it vanished.
I can estimate that the distance from our boat to the railroad tracks that were “searched” by this light was less than 200 feet more likely closer and bear in mind on a lake at night we can hear people speaking in a normal voice across the lake as sound carries and there are very few houses in that location.
I remember it as a white light and it was shinning down and moving as if it was searching the tracks, then looking up and wondering where the hell it was coming from.
After we talked about this we headed North between the big island (houses on it) and the tracks (further North you go there are no houses on that side of the lake) about a 1/2 mile. We passed the end of the island and continued North and saw an incredible bright fluttering light that was about 15 to 20 feet above the tracks and coming out of the woods and my immediate thought was “Oh, it’s a train,” which quickly turned to fear as it stopped at the edge of the tracks and the water and again not a sound at all.
So my friend and I turned off the putt-putt motor as we called it, and were wondering what the hell it was and by now we were very scared (I was 19 and my friend was the same age), after watching for a short while we decided to turn the motor (electric) and headed right towards it, as soon as we began to move it began to move directly towards us and before we met we turned the boat around and retreated and the light did the same.
Now let me try to describe the light-it was the brightest thing I have ever seen and although it was stationary it was in constant motion fluttering white amber green are the colors I recall, a sort of fireball more than an object.
We again headed towards the light and it again headed to us, we chickened out again. At last we said let’s go for it and see what happens, and this time we met somewhere in the middle.
The light went around the boat and I could not see it, and asked my friend where it was. At this time he was illuminated by a light and I could feel heat on my back shoulder, and my friend cried out, “It’s behind you.”
I would estimate it was 15 feet behind the boat and about that same height off the water give or take a few feet. I asked my friend what he felt like as this light was still on him and he replied almost in tears that it felt like every molecule in his body was being vibrated.
We were terrified and I would say from the time we saw the light flying down the train tracks until it disappeared was 15 to 20 minutes , perhaps 5 minutes directly at the boat fluttering around it. I just remember it being gone and only seeing a light , my friend had a sense of a craft also.
Some other points are as follows: this all happened not far from the island where we could hear people talking and enjoying themselves on a nice summer night on the lake, and it was as if no one saw it. We were maybe 1/3 of a mile away (at one point we were yelling). We headed back to the lake house and when we got in the house the light was on and the boom box was on and a tape was playing and it was stuck, like repeating itself.
There’s no way we left either on as we had just gotten in trouble with my stepfather who owns the house for going out and leaving the lights on (no other family members were home).
And then there’s the timeline: it was around midnight when we got home, yet we estimated that the entire boat ride should have been 90 minutes and we left around 8:30 at dusk maybe 8:45 .
I am 41 years old and own and operate a small masonry business. I have lost track of my friend since 1989-I did locate him in the fall of 2006, and after not speaking for 17 years, he answered the phone and within 15 minutes I got right to that interaction we had and asked him to recall any and every detail.
He did as if it was last week. We both witnessed the exact same thing and were within 15 feet of it. We have never reported this to any authorities and if I was alone I would be convinced I was insane.
I have always considered getting hypnotized to have a tape recording of perhaps more details but never have. I have always tried to convince myself our timeline is off and no missing time exists, but my friend who recalled more vivid details and exact times is positive we were not out that long. One of the most unique accounts of alien abduction comes to us from the Ilkley Moor in
Yorkshire, England. The witness and subject of this case is a former policeman named Philip Spencer. Spencer claims that in the early morning of December 1, 1987, he was taken aboard an unidentified flying craft, and after his release managed to snap a picture of one of the alien beings.
The Ilkley Moor is very much as you would picture it. Reminiscent of the setting of the moors of Baskerville Hall in Conan Doyle’s “Hound of the Baskervilles,” it is an eerie place. It has been said that “The Ilkley Moor can scare you to death during daylight, and at night it’s even worse.”
It is a place of mystery. There is the Swastika stone; boulders etched with strange markings; the Badger Stone; and the Twelve Apostles stone circle.
Many times the only living creatures on the moor are the sheep. Ilkley has other legends too, like the hovering lights at night, which bring occasional reports of UFOs. There are strange, swirling lights that are filtered through the fog and seem to have a mind of their own. Possibly some of the mysterious sights can be attributed to the not too distant Menwith Hill Military Base, or the nearby Leeds Bradford Airport.
The activities of these two facilities will not, however, explain what happened to Spencer. There were also stories of strange creatures that roam across the moor at times.
After four years of being a policeman in another city, Spencer had moved his wife and child to the Yorkshire area to be closer to her family. He was walking across
the moor on this December morning heading for his father-in-law’s house and on the way was hoping to get some photographs of the strange light tricks of the moor. To be able to get the images he desired he was using a high ASA rated film to compensate for the poor light in the area.
Unfortunately, the picture that he took was somewhat blurred, but there is no doubt that the creature in the photo is a one of a kind being which basically resembled the small grays.
Along with his camera, Spencer also took a compass to navigate through the fog before sufficient daylight shone through the moor. As he was searching for some photo angles, suddenly he caught the sight of a strange looking being in the slopes ahead of him. He aimed and snapped a picture of the creature which seemed to be gesturing for him to stay away.
It then ran away. Spencer gathered his wits and took off in pursuit of the being. Today he says he doesn’t know why. It was just an impulse reaction. He arrived just in time to get a glimpse of a flying craft with a domed top rise up from the moor and disappear into the sky. Atop the dome was a whitish square. He was not able to get a photograph of the object.
There was silence now. When he saw nothing else of the being or its craft, he began to walk to the nearest village. This walk took about 30 minutes, and during this time, a couple of things became apparent to him. First of all, his compass now pointed south instead of north, and secondly, the village clock showed the time an hour ahead of his…
Spencer was confused now. Did he see what he thought he saw?
To answer this burning question, he headed by bus to the nearest town with instant film development. Sure enough, he had a picture of the creature! It looked to be about 4 foot tall, and had a blue-green tint to its skin. He knew he had something of importance, or at least, he thought he did. He found the proper channels to contact UFO investigator Peter Hough.
Hough knew what he was hearing was a “too good to be true” case, and it worried him, but after meeting Spencer, he was convinced that he was a man of integrity and was not seeking fame or fortune for his picture. There was no reason to not believe what Spencer had told him. Hough began a thorough investigation. The film with the alien picture would be the first thing to undergo professional scrutiny.
The alien picture was first looked at by a wildlife photography expert. The object in the image was not an animal of any known kind. It could not be determined either way if the figure was animate or static. A reconstruction of the original site did establish the alien’s height at or near 4 and one half feet.
The photograph was next sent to Kodak laboratories in Hemel, Hempstead. An analysis showed that the object was indeed part of the original photo, and not superimposed. This conclusion did not, of course, determine what the creature was.
Next, the picture was sent to the United States for computer enhancement and analysis. Dr. Bruce Maccabee, optical physicist with the United States Navy rendered his expert opinion;
He stated that the slow film speed used for the low light conditions made the film too grainy for proper testing. “I had great hopes that this case would prove definitive. Sadly circumstances prevent it from being so,” Maccabee stated.
Something strange was noticed in the picture. Appearing on the hill at exactly the spot where Spencer says the UFO was is a white square. Could it be that he had gotten a part of the UFO in the shot unknowingly? He was not sure.
