Buzz Aldrin: There was something out there that, uh, was close enough to be observed and what could it be?
Narrator: Traveling along side of Apollo 11 was a mysterious object like this one (a ringed object at close range is shown), filmed on a later mission. If it wasn’t part of their own rocket, it could only be one thing, a UFO. Aldrin: Mike (Collins) decided he thought he could see it in the telescope and he was able to do that and when it was in one position, that had a series of ellipses, but when you made it real sharp it was sort of L shaped. That didn’t tell us very much.
Dr. David Baker (Apollo 11 Senior Scientist): NASA knew very little about, um, the object reported by the Apollo 11 crew. It was obviously an unidentified flying object, but such objects were not uncommon and the history of even earth orbit space flights going back over the previous years indicated that several crews saw objects.
Narrator: Despite having a clear view of the UFO, the crew were wary of reporting it to Mission Control.
Aldrin: Now, obviously, the three of us were not going to blurt out, ‘Hey Houston we got something moving along side of us and we don’t know what it is, you know, can you tell us what it is?’. We weren’t about to do that, cause we know that those transmissions would be heard by all sorts of people and who knows what somebody would have demanded that we turn back because of Aliens or whatever the reason is, so we didn’t do that but we did decide we’d just cautiously ask Houston where, how far away was the S-IVB?
Narrator: Unaware of the drama unfolding in space, Mission Control radioed the position back to Apollo 11.
Mission Control: ‘Apollo 11, Houston. The S-IVB is about 6,000 nautical miles from you now, over.’
Aldrin: And a few moments later, why they came back and said something like it was 6,000 miles away because of the maneuver, so we really didn’t think we were looking at something that far away, so we decided that after a while of watching it, it was time to go to sleep and not to talk about it anymore until we came back and (went through) debriefing.
Narrator: To this day, whatever it was that the crew saw has never been positively identified or officially acknowledged.
ASTRONAUT McDIVITT SPOTS ALIEN CRAFT NEAR HIS CAPSULE

In June 1965, Major James McDivitt saw, filmed, and photographed an object, which approached the Gemini IV (3rd June – 7th June 1965) capsule in which they were orbiting the Earth, passing over Hawaii. The UFO had a long arm sticking out of it. Here is what Major James McDivitt repeated many times: “I was flying with Ed White. He was sleeping at the time so I don’t have anybody to verify my story. We were drifting in space with the control engines shut down and all the instrumentation off (when) suddenly (an object) appeared in the window. It had a very definite shape – a cylindrical object – it was white – it had a long arm that stuck out on the side. I don’t know whether it was a very small object up close or a very large object a long ways away. There was nothing to judge by. I really don’t know how big it was. We had two cameras that were just floating in the spacecraft at the time, so I grabbed one and took a picture of (the object) and grabbed the other and took a picture. Then I turned on the rocket control systems because I was afraid we might hit it. At the time we were drifting – without checking I have no idea which way we were going – but as we drifted up a little farther the sun shone on the window of the spacecraft. The windshield was dirty – just like in an automobile, you can’t see through it. So I had the rocket control engines going again and moved the spacecraft so that the window was in darkness again – the object was gone. I called down later and told them what had happened and they went back and checked their records of other space debris that was flying around but we were never able to identify what it could have been. The film was sent back to NASA and reviewed by some NASA film technicians. One of them selected what he thought was what we talked about, at least before I had a chance to review it. It was not the picture – it was a picture of a sun reflection on the window.”
Enroute to Soviet Solyut 6 Space Station April of 1979, Cosmonaut Victor Afanasyev lifted off from Star City to dock with the Soviet Solyut 6 space station. But while en route, something strange happened. Cosmonaut Afanasyev saw an unidentified object turn toward his craft and begin tailing it through space. “It followed us during half of our orbit. We observed it on the light side, and when we entered the shadow side, it disappeared completely. It was an engineering structure, made from some type of metal, approximately 40 meters long with inner hulls. The object was narrow here and wider here, and inside there were openings. Some places had projections like small wings. The object stayed very close to us.
We photographed it, and our photos showed it to be 23 to 28 meters away.” In addition to photographing the UFO, Afanasyev continually reported back to Mission Control about the craft’s size, its shape and position. When the cosmonaut returned to earth he was debriefed and told never to reveal what he knew, and had his cameras and film confiscated. Those photos and his voice transmissions from space have never been released. It is only now, with the collapse of the Soviet Union that Afanasyev feels that he can safely tell his story. “It is still classified as a UFO because we have yet to identify the object.” NOTE: The above image is a drawing of the object by the Cosmonaut.
VERY LARGE ALIEN DISC SPOTTED OVER CRESTVILLE FLORIDA

Shape: Disk – Duration: 10 minutes
Very large disk traveling east then north above the clouds, blocking out first a 3/4 moon and then stars as it traveled. The moon was blocked out to a sliver with a very sharp shape. As I observed the moon, thinking it was supposed to be about 3/4 from full, the disk began heading east with the clouds leaving the moon at its appropriate size. As the disk (guessing at about 1000 ft in diameter) traveled above the clouds, it was going slower than the clouds, but it’s shape was clearly visible through the clouds as a perfect disk and unlit. I realized what I was seeing was the shadow on the clouds from the moon. After about two minutes, it veered north and passed across some clear areas and appeared as a huge very black disk against a lighter sky and blocked out every star above it until it passed letting me once again see them. This took about 4-5 minutes, until it passed over a thick bodied cloud and was then gone from view. NOTE: The above image is a rendering.
I encountered an entity/being which was standing outside. I was getting ready for bed and laid down. 5 minutes later, I felt as if I couldn’t move. The same sensation I get when I have sleep paralysis. The thing is, I never had sleep paralysis going to sleep, I only get them waking up. Instead of seeing things inside the room, I saw a faint light coming from the window (different from the moon’s natural lighting/street lamps/etc). Mind you, the blinds are closed, but I could make out a silhouette of a being standing right outside my bedroom window. It was facing to side (profile) from what I could tell. It had an enlarged head but stood like a human. It wasn’t very tall and I knew it wasn’t a person/human. It didn’t feel supernatural either; it strongly felt extraterrestrial. I heard it make a few noises but it was very vague. During the entire encounter, the being was stationary and did not move or change direction. When I regained the ability to move, I got out of bed to see if it was still there. The entity was still standing there judging by the silhouette in the lighting. That’s when I realized it was not an ordinary sleep paralysis. Usually in sleep paralysis the visions, shadows, sounds and figures all disappear once you regain control of your body. That was not the case in this event. I didn’t bother looking out of the blinds. A gut feeling or something told me not to look through the window. It didn’t feel threatened nor did I. Its presence was intimidating but not hostile in nature. That’s the vibe I got from the encounter. About 10 mins from the initial sighting, it left. The being and the faint lights both vanished like a blind spot. NOTE: The above image is a rendering.
MUFON INVESTIGATOR SPOTS UFO CRAFT DURING FIREWORKS DISPLAY
AUGUST 26, 2006 ……. WESTVILLE NEW JERSEY
I was with a crowd of friends attending a fireworks display in Westville New Jersey. I remember the date because it was my wife’s 50th birthday. The fireworks is usually displayed on the 4th of July but because of bad weather they postponed it to this date. We were all sitting on lawn chairs watching the lagoon, with a parade of boats, waiting for the fireworks to start. The lagoon sits right across from Philadelphia and is inside the terminal control area of Philadelphia International Airport. The Philly Navy Yard is only 2 miles away. Locals usually decorate their boats with Christmas lights and parade their boats just before the fire works begin. The over case was very thick and at about 200 feet. We could hear the commercial planes flying overhead heading to Philly International. Time was around 9 pm when all of a sudden I witnessed a elongated egg type UFO with port holes come out of the overcase. It was not moving but quickly backed into the overcase as my jaw dropped. My friend Sandy also witnessed the object. We were looking at the overcase while everyone else was looking at the party boats. The sighting was only a couple seconds but more that enough time to realize what we saw. The cigar or egg shaped object was white in appearance. The was no noise. I could see 3 or 4 port holes and the object did not have wings. It must of been hovering and helicopters would not be allowed in the terminal control area due to mid air collisions. There would be no reason for a silent helicopter to be in this area. I am the Chief Investigator for MUFON New Jersey and being a private pilot and Air Force Veteran, I definitely know what planes and helicopters look like. The object was neither. I feel that Alien Craft are hiding in our lakes, rivers and oceans. This would be the perfect place for them to hide. Through our numerous investigations over the years, we have found out that Alien Craft like airports, military bases, nuclear plants, fireworks and bright city lights. This is why we get many UFO sightings in the Manhattan area. The above image is real but from another similar sighting.
MUFON INVESTIGATOR CAPTURES A UFO AT AIR SHOW PRACTICE

I am the Chief Investigator for MUFON in New Jersey. I decided to take my grandson Dom the see the Thunderbirds practice in Atlantic City New Jersey. I decided to see the practice session because the main even the next day would be very crowded. I purposely took my camera because I planned to take many photos of the Thunderbirds because I was able to capture UFO craft on my Thunderbirds photos in Cheyenne Wyoming on 5-20-12. I know these UFO craft like air shows. I did not see the object but after reviewing my many photos off the show, I was able to capture a great photo of a UFO. After enlarging and enhancing the photo, it is something very strange. It is not a bird or bug. The reason I know it is not another air craft is because when the Thunderbirds are practicing, there is restricted air space within a 5 mile radius. This prevents other air show craft from crashing into one another. I also captured a UFO, a few years ago at the McGuire Air Force Base air show. There are many photos out there with UFO’s in the air show photos from all over the world. Google ” air show ufo sightings ”. Many times our cameras can see what our eyes cannot see. Also on todays digital cameras with a screen, its almost impossible to see what on the screen if you are trying to take photos on a sunny day. The screens a too small to make out anything in the background. Next time you attend an air show in your area, make sure you take tons of photos and you may be surprised as to what you will find.
MUFON INVESTIGATOR AND WIFE SPOTS TRIANGLE OVER SOUTH NEW JERSEY
AUGUST 14, 2007 ………… FRANKLINVILLE NEW JERSEY
Around 7 pm, I was laying on my back deck, after getting out of the pool and was watching the planes fly over, on their way to Philadelphia International Airport. . I then noticed a glimmering object to the left of the plane flying over. I would guess the commercial jet was at 7000 feet because this is the altitude that passing planes can fly over terminal control areas especially Philly International. The plane and UFO was flying in and out of the haze and traveling in a North West direction. I yelled to my wife to bring me my spotter telescope and she did in a few moments. Kelly also saw the object and I told he not to take her eyes off of it because I had to quickly set up my scope on the tripod. My scope is a BSA 20-60x60mm. Its great for star gazing and looking at the moon. I looked through the scope before I set it up trying to hold it as still as possible and did see it again for a couple seconds. It looked like a very shiny triangle and the sun bouncing off it made it even more visible. I try to spot UFO when the sun is setting because for some reason the sun light at that flat angle illuminated everything. After loosing sight of it with the telescope we did see it again with our eyes but it quickly disappeared in the overcast. Being excited, we both jumper in the car and drove for 10 miles trying to acquire it again but did not. I have had a few sightings in the Franklinville area over the years. We are very rural with little light pollution for star gazing. I did report this to MUFON and finally classified this case as unknown. NOTE: The above image is a rendering.
MUFON INVESTIGATOR SPOTS A SILVER CYLINDER SHADOWING A JET
NOVEMBER 6, 2011 …….. CAPE MAY ZOO NEW JERSEY
While visiting the Cape May County Zoo with my wife and grandson, we were in the process of eating our lunch at the picnic tables and I looked up and saw a large plane flying over and I noticed a flash of light. My wife did have her new digital camera with her but by the time she got it out and handed it to me, the object was gone from the side of the airliner. I fumbled with the camera and finally turned it on but the small screens on these cameras are useless. Taking photos of object close with no sunlight , they are great, but taking photos close to the sun, the screens come up blank. The altitude of the plane was approximately 5,000 feet and flying in a North/East direction. It was apparent that a silver like cylinder was flying along side the airplane. At first I thought it was a military plane and was being escorted by a military jet but the object had no wings. It was shadowing the large commercial jet towards the rear of the plane. The objects distance from the plane looked to be a full wing span. I could see the sun reflecting off the cylinder and I managed to finally take a few photos but the photos show that I did not capture the object because of todays digital cameras. Its almost impossible to see anything on the small screens. I just started shooting photos in the general direction and one photo did capture an object in it. The object looks dark gray in color and it looks to be at a lower altitude than the jet that passed over. I am a Chief Investigator with MUFON in New Jersey. If you are not looking up into the sky, you will never see a UFO. The time of day was 1.23 pm and the sky was partly cloudy. No winds notices and the temperature was aproximately 65 degrees. I did report the sighting to MUFON and finally classified the case as unknown. NOTE: The above image is a rendering.
TURQUOISE ALIEN DISC SPOTTED OVER BROOKLAWN NEW JERSEY
AUTUMN 1974 ……. ROUTE 295, BROOKLAWN NEW JERSEY
This is my very first sighting and one that I will never forget. It was around 3 am and a friend of mine was driving south on Route 295. I was the passenger in the car and had the opportunity to look around, as I would usually do when all of a sudden, we just exited an over pass, at the old Al-Joes bar in Mount Ephraim and I witnessed a very large blue/green disc just above the low over case. I would guess that the cloud ceiling was around 300 feet and the brightly lit object was just above it. I could easily make out the round shaped of the craft and before you know it, it was gone. We did loose sight of it because we were driving the other way. I shouted to my friend Merrill and he did not know what to say. After convincing him that I really did see something, we drove around until the sun came up looking for this craft. I remember it like it was yesterday and the next day, in the local papers, there was an article about some Deptford police and a few other witnesses seeing this object in the sky. I was relieved to see that other saw the object too. I have been a star gazer most of my life and always remember seeing Sputnik in 1957 flying over our house in National Park New Jersey. National Park is a small town located on the Delaware river directly across from the Philadelphia Naval Yard and also Phila International Airport. I have been looking to the sky since I was 7 years old. I will always remember the F-102 delta darts in formation while setting up to land at the Phila Naval Yard. I am presently the Chief Investigator for MUFON in New Jersey and the State Director for Vermont and Rhode Island. We are looking for Investigators for MUFON right now and there is a simple test to take and reasonable membership fees. This is the easiest and most rewarding job I have ever had. Description:The witness (retired police officer from Phoenix) and another person were hunting for gold in the desert about 5 miles Southeast of Wickenburg, AZ. The witness looked up and saw a rectangular object suspended from bright light (about the same size) to the Southeast of his position at an estimated distance of 1/2 mile. The witness state that the rectangular object looked like targets that they used to drag behind aircraft in WWII. The witness yelled to his partner (who did not hear him nor saw the object) and the object suddenly streaked upward about 2 miles and vanished. Then the object reappeared and slowly descended to the same area. This time the witness only saw the top of the object which appeared as a “concave” cylinder. Then a ball came out the side of the object. The cylinder was about the size of a fuselage of a 767 Jet. The object then ascended rapidly and streaked away to the West. The total time of the sightings was just under a minute. The witness was a helicopter pilot for the Phoenix Police Department so he is very familiar with aircraft.
Note: The witness sent a sketch as promised. The sketch (see above) certainly reveals an unusual object.
I was talking with a friend of mine whom I have known since the third grade. We were talking about the changes that have taken place on Long Island New York over the last 50 years. We were discussing the days when we had only one highway to drive to the end of Long Island in order to reach Montauk Point. The Montauk Point area is also the location of Plum Island and Camp Hero. During the 1940’s until recently both were active extremely strange institutions of secret ominous activates with long lists of odd events happening for many years following World War II. Long Islanders considered them dangerous if not evil places.
My friend and I were talking about our life on Long Island when we were teens in the early 60s around 1963 to 65. Those years were a time when Long Island was having numerous UFO sightings being reported. My father had been told during that time period that a few people in our town had seen a group of UFOs a over a town golf course which was still being talked about by all the local people when a few sightings came along of people witnessing large UFO;s flying low over Great River which ran out in to the Great South Bay and on to the Atlantic Ocean.. All of these sightings were still the talk of the town when this next event took place. One night my Dad read aloud after dinner as the family still was sitting at the kitchen table from the Long Island Press (which was a favorite newspaper on Long Island at the time) an article describing how hundreds of Long Islanders traveling along the Sunrise Highway ( which was the only main highway that was used to travel to then end of Long Island in that time period) had called in to the local police reports of an enormous UFO traveling low over Sunrise Highway as it traveled out towards the end of Long Island towards the Atlantic Ocean. The people who witnessed this huge craft insisted it was at least a half a mile if not bigger in circumference. The people who saw this huge craft all reported the same details of a enormous oval craft slowly hovering over the highway at times as it made its way in silence following the highway below out to the end of the roadway frightening those who were traveling under it on the highway lanes. It followed the roadway to its end and continued on towards the end of Long Island and the Atlantic Ocean. There were no offerings of what it could have been in the article or comments other than the description of this huge metallic shinny windowless craft and the mention of many other UFO sightings being reported over Long Island during that time.
I have often had that event flash through my mind over the years when I learned of other sightings of huge unexplained crafts being reported from all over the world. These huge crafts seemed to have taken on the name of Mother Ships. I thought about this and wondered if we have this correct in our thinking or if we simply are missing another explanation to the enormous size of these unknown crafts thinking they are something they are not. It is true that the enormous size of the crafts many have witnessed over the years may well be main carriers of large populations of other life forms and their equipment and living areas or there is one other strange idea that could explain there massive size. It may sound simplistic but why could the difference in size of UFO.s simply be an indication of the different sizes of the aliens traveling in them? How many times have we been told of history that talks to us about giants walking on the earth? How many times have the idea of extremely tall beings being seen over history have we come across in our search for answers to our past and understanding of our possible futures? I really thought about this when I came across the reported incident where our astronauts were reported to have had an encounter with a huge space man that was so large and tall that they had to open the cargo bay of the space shuttle so he could stand towering over our men in the open cargo bay in order to have a meeting with them. There is no reason at all to think that other life forms in this enormous universe are similar in size to the humans on earth. In fact there is no reason to think that they are like us at all in any way shape or form. I think we should consider that shape, size and form of those who may visit this planet may be anything from bug size to building size and all things in between. I now wonder in pure fascination what may pilot those enormous crafts and can only keep my mind open to the endless possibilities that could exist inside those metallic walls from huge populations of aliens to simply huge aliens!
CARRIER PERSONEL WITNESS UFO CRAFT ACTIVITY OFF CAROLINA
OCTOBER 20, 2014 ………….. USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT
-We were off the coast of the eastern seaboard, not 100% sure but I think we were off the Carolina’s. The boat was doing work ups getting ready for deployment, we had a full deployment crew. -Me and a couple of other ET’s heard some of the watch standers on the island talking about seeing something crazy, they said something about trying lock on to it with the Nato Sea Sparrow Director’s onto the object. Me and a handful of guys on the night shift ran up to the O-10 where the watch standers were watching it. They had the mounted Binoculars trained on the object. I thought they were mistaking two stars one of which looked like a pulsar (due to my pretty extensive knowledge of astronomy). The object then appeared between the two stars again, the other guys saw the object as well. We all thought we might be imagining it, asked each other a couple of times if they saw it too. We all agreed that it was there. -When I first noticed it, i thought I was imagining it. How could a star disappear then reappear right in front of me? I watched it through the mounted binoculars changing colors between blue, white, purple, and pink at high speed, it kept pulsing. -It seemed to stay motionless, the problem was that the altitude was just high for any of us to make out exactly what it looked like, from our vantage point we could see that it may have been hovering and possibly moving but just can’t say for sure. After about 5 minutes of viewing the object as we were all trying to get a look at it, a bright flash filled the sky in the location of the object, it looked like it shot with an incredible speed and was gone. We were traveling North, the object was northeast of our Northerly heading. Our speed was approximately 15 to 20 knots. -The three watch standers at there post reported that two similar objects had come out of the main relatively stationary object and then rejoined the main object. -During my time watching the object CIC (Combat Information Center) was trying to get a radar lock on the object with the Nato Sea Sparrow Missile Directors. The directors (which are radar directors, fire control radar) kept trying to lock onto the object then it would drop back down to the horizon, the OS’s (Operation Specialists) trying to drive the director back there again. Every time they would drive to get a lock the lock would fail and the director would be driven back down again. It seemed to me that the object was overriding the directors drive control or that the radar receiver was being over powered and being forced by internal programming to protect its receiver, (to get away from the source of the electromagnetic radiation) it could have been over-driven by the object being to close but more than likely the object was jamming the radar. I can’t say weather it was jamming the object passively or actively, just that the radar was being jammed. -After the sighting I checked the SPN-43 and SPS-49 radar in CATCC neither of them had a radar return, although at that altitude the chances of a radar return are very slim. -I tried to report it to my chain of command, they laughed at me and said that we didn’t see anything. We probably just excited, I didn’t expect that reaction especially when CIC reacted the way they did.
HUGH SOLID RED BALL SHADOWS NAVY JET OVER PENSACOLA
On the night of Feb. 6, 1975, Marine Reserve Squadron Capt. Larry Jividen was piloting a T-39D Sabreliner (see image above) combat trainer and utility aircraft with five Naval officer pilots on board for a special training flight. He didn’t know the evening would evolve into a game of “tag” with an unidentified flying object. Jividen hasn’t spoken about that experience from nearly 40 years ago — until now. The nine-year Marine Corps captain — and later commercial airline pilot — had taken off at twilight for a two-hour roundtrip that began and ended at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Fla. “At about 9 o’clock, we were descending from a high altitude — around 33,000 feet — and I looked off to the right side of the airplane where I saw a solid red light at our 1:00 o’clock position and altitude.” “It was not flashing like normal anti-collision lights flash on airplanes. I thought it might be some other traffic, but I wasn’t sure, so I called Pensacola Approach Control and said, ‘Understand we’re cleared for the approach, but we have traffic off to our right, and who’s first for the approach?” The traffic that Jividen and the other five crew members saw was mutually described as “a solid, circular object about the relative size of a kid’s marble held at arm’s length,” Jividen recalled. When they were informed that ground control had no other traffic in their vicinity, Jividen became concerned that the mysterious object hadn’t shown up on radar. So he asked for clearance to deviate from their approach and turn directly toward the bright red UFO “just to see what it does.” As he turned toward the object, Jividen says it turned toward his plane. “It suddenly flew from right to left, across the nose [of our plane], and just stopped at our 11:00 o’clock position. At that point, I started to speed up to see if I could close on the object, and as I sped up, it was pacing me in front. In other words, as I’d speed up, he’d speed up. “So, I decided to descend to place the object against a star field to make sure that it was actually solid, and then I climbed so that I could silhouette the object against the Gulf of Mexico.” Jividen says the five-minute encounter came to an end when the reddish UFO sped away at a very high rate and disappeared over the horizon in the direction of New Orleans. After the crew returned to Pensacola, Jividen filled out an incident form and that was the last he heard of the episode. And nobody else heard about it for more than three decades.
