Jerry Linenger has revealed there were
multiple instances that made the entire space crew aboard the International
Space Station scratch their heads. Linenger, a former NASA astronaut, referred
to the anomalies as unidentified flying objects while requested the media not
to take him out of context.
Linenger admitted to seeing multiple
bizarre objects or unexplained things during his five-month stay in space. He recalled how he and colleagues could only
guess and ask among themselves what they witnessed. He claimed to have seen
stuff that made him call his crewmates over.
Linenger, who’s also a former captain of
the U.S. Navy Medical Corps, not only stayed at NASA’s ISS but also did a stint
at the Russian Space Station Mir, which operated from the mid-1980s to 2001.
Along with two Russian crewmates, he spent five months at the SS Mir, which was situated 250 miles above Earth while orbiting the planet 2,000 miles. He was the first American astronaut to perform a spacewalk from a non-American space station while wearing a foreign space suit.
Linenger has made a disclaimer, though, that he made no mention of seeing aliens but only UFOs. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
A very bizarre account from the Korean War emerged in January of 1987, when John Timmerman, of the J. Allen Hynek Center for UFO Studies (CUFOS), sat down for an interview with a former U.S. Army private first class (PFC) by the name of Mr. Francis P. Wall, who had a most unusual tale to tell. Wall had been deployed with the Army infantry, 25th Division, 27th Regiment, 2nd Battalion, ‘Easy’ Company, and in May of 1951 they were operating outside of Chorwon, in an area known by the military as the Iron Triangle, on a mission to reach a small village in the mountains. The village in question was in an area marked to be bombarded with artillery fire, wiped off the face of the earth, and Wall and his men were there to make sure that any innocent civilians were properly warned of the impending rain of fire. Indeed, the air was already reverberating with the thumps and booms of shells hitting, the dark of night occasionally lit up with flashes in the distance. Wall and company had made their way to a steep slope overlooking the village and the fiery flowers of artillery airbursts painting the scene with fire, and that was when they saw something they could not explain up there in the air in the middle of this war ravaged scene. Wall would say of this:
We suddenly noticed on our right-hand side what appeared to be a jack-o-lantern come wafting down across the mountain. And at first no one thought anything about it. So we noticed that this thing continued on down to the village to where, indeed, the artillery air bursts were exploding. It had an orange glow in the beginning. We further noticed that this object was [so] quick that it could get into the center of an airburst of artillery and yet remain unharmed. But then this object approached us. And it turned a blue-green brilliant light. It’s hard to distinguish the size of it; there’s no way to compare it. The light was pulsating. This object approached us.
The men were understandably very unsettled by this point, as the object was obviously not one of theirs, nor any known aircraft any of them had ever seen before, and they radioed the situation in to their superiors, requesting permission to open fire on it. Why they would think that their rifles would do any good when they had just witnessed it casually make its way through artillery explosions is anyone’s guess, but the permission was granted and Wall claims that he would then open fire on it with his M-1 rifle loaded with armor piercing bullets. He claims that he hit the object several times, hearing the pings of the bullets against what sounded like metal, and the bullets seemed to have an effect on it where the artillery had not, apparently damaging it and causing it to exhibit some strange behavior. Wall would say:
Now why would that bullet damage this craft if the artillery rounds didn’t? I don’t know, unless they had dropped their protective field around them, or whatever. But the object went wild, and the light was going on and off. It went off completely once, briefly. And it was moving erratically from side to side as though it might crash to the ground. Then, a sound — we had heard no sound previous to this — the sound of, like, diesel locomotives revving up. That’s the way this thing sounded.
This was where things would get pretty harrowing, as according to Wall the craft unleashed some sort of a retaliatory attack on them. The craft allegedly emitted a kind of ray or beam that came in pulses, and which they could see aiming at them “like a searchlight.” When the ray swept over them the men found themselves overcome with a tingling, burning sensation, and while it didn’t seem to be causing any visible damage they could feel it penetrating through their skin and the pain was enough to make them scramble for cover, scurrying in a panic into their bunkers, where the attack seemed to continue. Wall describes the terrifying and otherworldly scene thusly:
So the company commander, Lt. Evans, hauled us into our bunkers. We didn’t know what was going to happen. We were scared. These are underground dugouts where you have peep holes to look out to fire at the enemy. So, I’m in my bunker with another man. We’re peeping out at this thing. It hovered over us for a while, lit up the whole area with its light, and then I saw it shoot off at a 45-degree angle, that quick, just there and gone. That quick. And it was as though that was the end of it.
Unfortunately for Wall and the others, this seemed to be far from the end of it, as over the next few days they would begin to develop an array of debilitating physical symptoms, including disorientation, memory loss, headaches, stomachaches, nausea, and extreme weakness that was potent enough that some of them had trouble even walking. Doctors who examined them could find no reason or cause for these symptoms, the only evidence that anything was wrong being an unusually high white blood cell count that could not be explained. Despite nothing really officially wrong with them, the men were nevertheless all physically ill and suffering from something, and it was widely assumed by them that this was the doing of the beam that UFO had fired at them. According to Wall, many of them continued to suffer from ill health for years after the encounter, with him saying that even to that day he had frequent bouts of disorientation, memory loss, weakness, and difficulty putting on weight. In later years it has been speculated that the men were probably suffering from radiation sickness. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
Although the exact date is uncertain, at around 2 am in the early hours of a January morning in 1954, Armando Zurbaran was driving along between Mexico City and Acapulco. He was on his way to meet a business partner and his hope was to be there before dawn. The winding roads, however, would make his journey that bit longer.
It was as he was negotiating these winding roads, his car headlights cutting through the night that rushed to greet his windscreen, he suddenly began to feel an intense tiredness. In fact, more than tired, Zurbaran began to feel in a “hypnotic state of lethargy”. He would ultimately pull his car to the side of the road in order to gather his thoughts a moment. When he did so, however, he noticed a strange scene awaiting him.
In front of him was a strange object in the middle of the road. He would later describe it as “brilliantly lit”. Furthermore, around this object were several strange men. Each wore the same style of overalls with an extremely wide belt around their waists. They appeared to all be long-haired. He continued to watch the scene for several more seconds.
Then, something truly strange happened.
In what seemed like a flash he was out of his vehicle and walking toward the strange craft. What’s more, the strange men were “escorting” him to the glowing object. As he neared it, a “slight buzzing” became audible to him. He then entered the otherworldly craft.
Not The First, Nor The Last!
Upon entering the craft, he asked why they had chosen him for the “honor” of such a momentous meeting. The response was both fascinating and at least slightly potentially ominous at the same time when he was told that:
You are neither the first nor the last Earthman to be chosen for testing. Our task, slow though it may seem, is designed to persuade. We choose the likeliest, most malleable persons for contact so that they might better transmit our messages!
What messages were being passed on to the rest of humanity by these “persuaded” individuals? And how slow did slow really mean in this instance? Might it suggest that the alien presence on our planet has been here for a lot longer than the last half a century or so since the Roswell crash which, unofficial though it might be, hailed the beginning of the modern UFO era?
As if to prove their superiority he was shown a “review of the smallest details of his life” on a screen inside the ship. Then, one of the strange men took him around the craft. He would answer any questions he might have as he walked around. It was then that he was informed that the ship which he was on was no longer on the ground. In fact, it was no longer on the planet. He was instead, traveling through space.
Traversing Space Using A “Gravity Repulsion System!”
Some of the details offered by Zurbaran regarding the spacecraft and more specifically the propulsion methods that it employed are remarkably similar to details that would surface in the late eighties and early nineties from such people as Bob Lazar.
The spacecraft’s propulsion, for example, used a “gravity repulsion system” to travel from one heavenly body to another. This sounds very similar to how some researchers and whistleblowers state the propulsion systems of recovered alien vehicles in the hands of the United States’ government work. A UFO spotted over Lake Tahoe in the US in unprecedented detail is “100 percent” proof that aliens are visiting Earth. The sighting has been described as a “classic” spaceship by alien enthusiasts who claim it to be a flying saucer.
Holidaymakers at Lake Tahoe, Nevada, spotted the UFO zooming across the sky and were fortunate enough to capture it on video.
The craft was moving so fast it can barely be seen in the video, but some eagle-eyed experts slowed it down to get a better look.
The unnamed person who shot the video said: “We went to Lake Tahoe for vacation and we got a tour on a boat to ride on the lake. “I didn’t see the object until we got home, as I was checking the videos this object appeared on the video with tremendous speed.”
Some UFO experts are so convinced by the authenticity of the video that they believe it is only a matter of time before aliens reveal themselves to humans.
UFO Sightings Daily says on its website: “Here is the most detailed UFO I have seen all week. “This is a classic flying saucer, a beautiful metallic disk with a raised upper dome area. “This is 100 percent proof that aliens are monitoring human up close and personal.
As well as the cases we have already highlighted above, UFO activity, already increasing overall, would suddenly explode in 1967. And would do so right from the start of the calendar year.
For example, on 9th January in Malta, Montana, after their dog’s excited barking alerted them to something out of the ordinary taking place, an entire family would witness a “large rectangular object”, which glowed red along the bottom and amber along the top, flying low to the ground near their home. Despite how low it was, no sound came from the glowing craft. It would eventually land in a nearby field. It remained there for around an hour, glowing red. Then, without warning, it would shoot directly up into the air at breathtaking speed.
Just short of two weeks later in Methuen, Massachusetts, three teenage girls were driving alongside a field when a “string of nine or ten bright red lights”, themselves part of a solid object, moved over the field. The girls pulled the car to the side of the road to watch the lights. When they attempted to start the vehicle again, however, it stalled. The headlights and the radio were also dead. The object would suddenly leap into the blackness of the sky and vanish. The car would start shortly after.
A Wave Of Sightings Across The World
Of course, sightings of strange craft were seemingly taking place across the planet.
On the 11th January, for example, a “white ball” or oval-shaped craft was reported to be hovering relatively low to the ground. Although the details on the report are vague, it also appears that some form of paralysis of the witness took place.
Several nights later at around 10 pm over Lake Ontario in Canada on the 20th January, a pilot and his three passengers would witness a “round, glowing white object”, approximately the size of “a large apartment building” in the skies above them. They would further claim that a “ring of red lights” ran around it, blinking and flashing. The pilot would immediately turn back to the airfield and cancel the planned flight.
Just short of a week later on the 26th January in Heidelberg in Germany another sighting would unfold. At around 8:30 pm, the unnamed witness would suddenly hear a “pulsating sound”. When they looked up to locate the source of the strange noise, they could see a “shiny, metallic, elliptical-shaped object” hovering overhead. The witness would watch for several minutes until the sound of military jets approaching came. Then, the object took off at great speed.
On the 3rd February just outside of Lima in Peru, came another sighting from an airline pilot, this time of a DC-4 passenger plane traveling from Chiclayo to Lima. The pilot would witness a “very luminous object” in the distance which he at first took to be a star. However, the way it moved and the fact that it was it approaching them meant he quickly discarded any such thoughts. As the object passed them, the “fluorescent lights of the cockpit and all radio receptions went out”, temporarily replaced by “static noise”.
The Truly Bizarre Long Island Landing Incident
With UFO sightings and activity having been constant throughout the opening weeks of 1967, perhaps one of the most bizarre accounts occurred at some time in early-March in Long Island, New York. According to the book UFO Universe by R Perry Collins, a family was driving through the region during the afternoon when they noticed a “large disc-shaped object” suddenly appear in the sky. What’s more, it was descending and would ultimately land in a field near the roadside.
Realizing they were witnessing something truly extraordinary, the driver of the car pulled over to the side of the road. Discreetly, the family – seven in total – watched the shiny disc. As they did, they were even more perplexed when several moments later a “sedan-type vehicle” that was driving along the road suddenly swerved off-road and into the field where the strange craft had landed. It steadily made its way to the shining object.
As the family watched this bizarre scene, a doorway on the side of the landed craft suddenly opened. In the doorway were “two men” who promptly stepped out and walked toward the now waiting car. They each got inside, and the vehicle took almost as soon as they had pulled their doors shut.
The craft, meanwhile, rose steadily into the air and then vanished with breakneck speed into the blue skies above.
While we should perhaps treat this account with a certain amount of salt, it is intriguing, nonetheless. Not least due to the obvious insinuation of some type of “government involvement or conspiracy”. NOTE: The above images are CGI.
At around 7:30 pm on 4th February, Hollace Chastain had just finished his state trooper patrol duties and was checking his mailbox on his way home in Norman. As he did so, however, he noticed an elliptical-shaped bright light in the sky seemingly hovering overhead.
He watched the light for several moments and after being satisfied that it was indeed something unusual, he would radio a report to another trooper on patrol, James Blevins. As he did so, the object suddenly began to move, changing colors from “white to orange to greenish-blue” before finally returning to white as it settled back into a hovering position. Even more bizarre, although the witnesses believed the object to be solid, they also witnessed it seemingly changing its shape. In total, it remained visible for around half an hour before disappearing from their sight.
From his position, around 10 miles from Chastain’s location, Blevins would describe the object as “much too big to be a star”, even if it had of remained stationary. When it did move it appeared to “flicker and wobble”. This might be suggestive of some kind of rotation taking place.
Although the object disappeared from the view of the two state troopers, beginning in the early hours of the following morning, only several hours later in real time, several other sightings would unfold within hours of each other.
Several Sightings Within Hours Across Indiana
As they were returning home from Huntingburg where they had performed earlier, several members of a band would witness a strange object just before 2 am, around 10 miles outside of Oakland City. They would describe the object as “pale green with a bluish tinge”. The brightness of the object varied as they continued to watch it.
However, more remarkable, and very similar to the claims of the two state troopers only hours previously, was that it appeared to change shape. At first, it appeared like a boomerang before seeming to morph into a teardrop shape. As the members of the band watched the incident, who would incidentally all request anonymity, another vehicle passed theirs. It appeared these unidentified people also witnessed the bizarre encounter.
Around 75 miles away and 45 minutes later at 2:30 am in Crothersville, state police officer, Richard Barker witnessed and followed a “huge ball of greenish-blue and white lights” that appeared to have a flat, rotating underside. He would follow the bizarre object for around 10 miles, closing to “within (about) a mile of it” before it “took off fast”. He would state:
It wasn’t like any airplane I’ve ever seen. I know it wasn’t a plane!
Just under four hours later at around 6 am, an anonymous woman would report a very similar object over Bedford. She watched the object for around 30 minutes, recalling that it was “oval-shaped, sort of like a cigar”. Furthermore, the “top was shiny” while there was a “bright light on the bottom”. She got the impression from how the light appeared to move that the object was “looking for someplace to land”.
The object came closer to her home and eventually hovered overhead for several minutes before taking off. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
