PAPERBOYS CLOSE ENCOUNTER WITH AN ALIEN CRAFT IN OHIO

 it was 1966. On a sunny mid-morning I was alone, walking westward in an open alleyway between North Street and Oakland Parkway in Lima, Ohio, with the sun at my back. A broad back yard lay to me left (south), a parking lot alongside a single-story business to my right. Between a half mile to a mile ahead of me and at an altitude of several hundred to maybe a thousand feet a cylindrical, gray-metallic object, comparable to an airplane fuselage in shape and diameter, suddenly zoomed from my right (from the north) clearly in view above the treetops before me (30 degrees or so above the horizon). Its altitude was considerably higher than the trees, given the angle of view and its probable distance. It would be more accurate to say it was the shape of a stubby cigar, possibly rounded on both ends, and had no projections or windows or lights that I could detect. It was traveling silently at a wildly rapid, easily supersonic speed — hundreds of miles per hour, and without slowing it appeared to stop “on a dime” as they say, directly ahead of me, more or less over North Street, and then shot directly westward. (North Street angles a little northwest but the object went due west.) It did not decelerate before making the instantaneous “turn” to its right, and I say “turn” but it did not appear to rotate 90 degrees and point its nose to the right but merely shot off sideways in that direction.

Once it changed course to the west, directly away from me, it remained on a straight path and disappeared as a diminishing speck in 1-2 seconds. The whole episode lasted about four seconds. I was a paperboy, and I was doing my weekly collection on a Saturday morning. (I had that route from 1961 to 1967.) Everything was in full bloom, trees were all leafed out, and it was cool outside — I know because I recall I was wearing a dark jacket. This whole incident is burned into my memory. No, I didn’t write it up at the time or ask anyone else to do so. I’m placing the time of year from mid-May to mid-June. For purposes of reporting, I will say it was June 1, 1966. I told my parents and a few friends about it but mostly I have not volunteered the information through my adult life because I’ve never wanted to compromise my credibility in other matters. I am now 71 years old, a retired hospital administrator and retired Registered Maine Guide who served in the Army Security Agency as a Russian-language cryptanalyst and who also spent 23 years in manufacturing. I have seen no other such “unbelievable” sights in my lifetime. I have tried to report this on one other site but have not succeeded in having it accepted there. NOTE: The above image is CGI.

ALIEN CRAFT SPOTTED NEAR LAKEHURST NAVAL AIR STATION IN NEW JERSEY

The craft was matte-gold metallic color and roughly 30-40 feet in diameter (I thought about the size of a bus). It had a window about 8-12 feet across and maybe 3-4 feet wide in the front and it hovered silently just above the treetop in my neighbor’s backyard while we were out in my backyard. The window was directly facing us when Mike pointed it out and we all just stood there and watched it as it watched us. It was about 40 yards away and maybe 10 feet above the oak trees. It then rose up in a zig zag until it reached about 100+ feet high, it then stopped and shot straight up and was gone in an instant. The craft was smooth except for something that looked like conduits beneath the front of the craft just below the window and mostly the port side. There were no markings, rivets, screws or anything. The window was reflecting the sun and I could not make out anyone inside. We never spoke about his until recently either, so it is like I just found out this is real. It wasn’t until my 20s that I remember saying anything about it to my then wife and many years later (2020) to get in touch with my childhood friend through FB. He recalls it vividly and says he thinks about it all the time. NOTE: The above image is CGI.

My brother and his wife flew in from Kansas City for a trip to Bimini on my 32-foot Boston Whaler. We launched my boat, but the seas were much rougher than forecasted so we drove the boat to Tavernier as a backup plan to just hang out, fish, snorkel etc. As the evening arrived, we knew we would not make it back to port before nightfall, so we anchored the boat just a few feet off the channel on the west side of us1. The only road to key west and stayed the night there. We were sitting on the deck of the boat having drinks and just talking when out of nowhere a bright flash occurred at the helm of the boat. Like a flash bulb from an old camera. It was very bright, and we all just sat there confused. There was nothing on the boat that could have caused that. I looked around for a minute then leaned over the side and looked up and saw another flash of light reflect off of my hard top. This time the light was blue. After a few minutes I dismissed the flashes of light as just a freak incident as there was no visible source for the lights anywhere to be seen. We continued talking after a few minutes and after about 15 minutes we noticed what we thought was a low flying aircraft approach from the southwest at tree top hight and bank north approximately a quarter mile west of our position.


This craft was brightly illuminated with what looked like a diamond shape headlight flanked by a long vertical light on each side as well as what I thought were nave lights on the ends as they were red and green. The craft made zero noise, but this did not alarm me at the time as I have been around very quiet aircraft in the past. The craft proceeded north for approximately another quarter to half a mile to the north end of the channel, came to a hover then illuminated the ocean with a super bright ball of light. The entire craft lit up in the shape of a giant dome light and began to zig zag at hyper speeds as if in a search pattern. We were all in shock for the first couple minutes as what was happening set in. We were in the company of a UFO. The craft continued to perform exotic maneuvers at amazing speeds for approximately 30 minutes. It approached to within 100 yards then shot away to several miles then back again while searching for something with a red beam projecting down from its belly. After about ten minutes I grabbed my wife’s cell phone and began recording the show however, every time I hit record on the phone camera the craft would come to a stop. It would completely stop moving. I knew if I kept recording, I would use up the memory card, so I hit the stop button. As soon as I stopped recording the craft would start with the exotic maneuvering again.

It was as if they could see what I was doing. I attempted to zoom in on the craft and the camera would zoom back out on its own. Again, its was as if they knew what I was doing and prevented me from doing it. I even mention this on video. This went on for about 30 minutes. At one point I shined my flashlight at the craft and hit the strobe button. I wanted this thing to come to us. I jokingly mentioned I wanted the winning lotto numbers from the Aliens flying that thing. At one point the craftt zoomed towards us at an alarming speed which at that point scared me stupid. No of us were alarmed at its presence until it shot towards us. It got within 100 -200 yards of us and changed direction. proceeded south for about 1 mile then shot to the heavens in a blink of the eye. Literally a blink! It was gone but another one shot down as this one went up. We don’t know where the second one went as we never saw it again.and hour or two went by and we decided to call it a night and went to the cabin to get a good night sleep. At around three a.m. I woke to footsteps on the deck of my boat. sounded like small children walking around on the deck just above me. I dismissed it and fell back asleep. In the morning I as I was drinking a cup of coffee, I said out loud that I heard what I thought were children walking on the deck of the boat when my wife blurted out” I did too!” Then my brother’s wife said the same. My brother was the only one that didn’t hear it. There is much more to this story, too much to write. ALIEN CRAFT CAPTURED ON CELL PHONE CAMERA IN SOUTH DEVON ENGLAND

UFO fever has hit South Devon with one amateur photographer snapping this “flying saucer” over Brixham. The Herald Express switchboard was swamped with calls yesterday from readers who said they spotted mystery objects over Torbay. Some reckoned what they saw was a Jumbo jet-sized party balloon while others accepted it as a UFO. There was a suspicion the cigar-shaped craft was nothing more harmless than a an “8 Metre Airship” sold for £12.95 by local shops. Police and coastguards said they had no reports of any close encounters. Chef Nick Borne from Paignton, who took the main picture, was enjoying a meal out with his family on Tuesday evening when the flying phenomenon strayed into view. Nick, who works at Aromas Cafe in Hyde Road, was using his mobile phone to snap panoramic views from the Berry Head Hotel when the craft suddenly appeared in shot. A bemused Nick secured a couple of images and continued eating. But the object, which he captured for posterity at 6.30pm, was witnessed by at least 20 others elsewhere in the Bay at around the same time. One mystified skywatcher was retired British Aerospace engineer Roy Dutton. He tracked an object for 20 minutes through a high-powered telescope. He reckoned it was flying at 10,000 ft and was at least the size of a Jumbo jet. Mr Dutton, of Brunel Park, Watcombe, Torquay, said: “The telescope magnifies by 80 times.

 “At first I thought it was just an airship but I could see it clearly and there were no signs of control or propulsion. There were no features whatsoever. It was jet black. It was just like a great big party balloon. “It moved slowly along from north to south over Torquay.   “I have never seen anything like this before. I know from my experience of aircraft that it was flying at about 10,000 ft and it was very big, at least the size of a Jumbo jet. After about 15 minutes it stopped. Then it just wobbled and ascended to probably double the altitude, drifting away quite quickly broadside on towards the south east out over the Channel. I lost it eventually at about 5.25pm when I had to move the telescope because of the trees. “What concerned me was that it was in the flight path often used by aircraft approaching Exeter airport. My first guess was that it was some sort of experimental balloon, in which case the authorities should be investigating. “I didn’t attempt to photograph it because I know from experience that it is very difficult to capture a good image of anything at that height.” Teenagers Helen McGregor, 15, and her 14-year-old cousin Hayley Tucker, reported seeing an object in the sky from Ellacombe. “We all just stood there. Nobody said anything because we didn’t know what it was. It looked like a kite but it was really, really high. It was just a long black tube. We ran back to tell my auntie but when we looked again it had gone,” said Helen. Laura Lamont, of Moore Lane, Watcombe, was with a crowd of about 10 people on Babbacombe Downs who looked up in astonishment. “It was really amazing.

We were all stuck for words. During the time we were watching it a red helicopter went across and there was a low-flying jet which went passed. They were nothing like this. It was so high up in the sky and it just seemed to have stopped there, dead. Lots of others were pointing up to it too.” Five golfers in Torquay interrupted their game to gaze in wonder at the cylindrical object which they said remained still in the sky for 15 minutes, the length of time that Nick Borne saw it before leaving the Berry Head Hotel with wife Claire and nine-year-old daughter Maddison. “I was just panning around with the mobile when the UFO popped up and I took the pictures,” said Nick. “I’m still quite sceptical about it all. At the end of the day it was something I could not identify. It was stationary and conical shaped with a dome in the middle. I’ve no idea what it was,” he added. He did not alert other diners and left with the object still hanging in the sky. Simon Wills, who runs Babbacombe Model Village, also saw the phenomenon, which he reckoned might have been a balloon of some description which came away from its mooring. “It was long and black with a shiny texture. It floated over Oddicombe Beach to Petitor and beyond,” he said. Gary Close, from Pendennis Road, Hele, saw it through his high magnification binoculars. “The end facing me had a yellow tinge. If it was an escaped balloon I could not see any wire or rigging attached. It was very peculiar. It’s difficult to say how big it was.” Other witnesses were Adam Nesbit from Watcombe and Pat Shemwell from Babbacombe who said: “It was around for about half-an-hour. I gave up looking at it in the end.”

3 DAYS BEFORE ROSWELL, PORTLAND OREGON BUZZED BY ALIEN CRAFT

Say I’m slightly unhinged or even that I’m trying to kick back and relax a little after all that Goldschmidt stuff. But I’d still like to know what really happened on July 4, 1947, when scores of flying saucers were spotted over Portland. And I’m not making this up, either. It was on the front pages of both newspapers. Two police officers, Walter Lissy and Robert Ellis – both World War II vets and civilian pilots – saw the first ones over Oaks Park. They were fast-moving, silvery discs, traveling in formation, Ellis and Lissy said. According to the newspaper stories, the Portland Police Bureau was immediately placed on full alert. That same day, Thomas Berry, who lived on Northeast Killingsworth, saw something, too. So did M.A. Deaton, who lived on Northeast 32nd. Deaton said it was a disc, flying due east “faster than an airplane.” Downtown on Broadway at the Jackson Tower, where The Oregon Journal was then located, several employees saw a flyby of discs and if you can’t trust a reporter to know a flying saucer when he sees one, I don’t know who you could. Three sheriff’s deputies assigned to the harbor patrol spotted a cluster of discs at about 10,000 feet. Another policeman, Earl Patterson, radioed in from his car at Southeast 82nd and Foster with another report of flying discs. He said they were aluminum or eggshell in color, traveling at a high rate of speed. * * * That evening, more strange discs were spotted by the pilot and crew of a United Airlines flight en route from Boise to Portland. Nine flying saucers, which they all described as bigger than their airplane, cruised along with them for 15 minutes. 

The next day, The Oregonian, obviously looking for a positive angle on the story, reported that despite the numerous sightings of unidentified flying objects, no damage to the city had occurred.Whatever it was, though, it was catching. * * * The Portland flyby came hardly a week after the first-ever recorded flying saucer sighting, by a private pilot near Mount Rainier in Washington. On June 24, one Kenneth Arnold reported seeing nine shiny objects, which, as he told the first reporter he saw upon landing, skipped through the atmosphere like saucers at speeds of up to 1,700 miles per hour. Although, as a check of the original news stories indicates, he also said they were shaped like boomerangs, the reports of “saucerlike” flying objects spread throughout the world. Over the next month or so, flying saucers were sighted in 23 states. We can, nevertheless, take pride in the fact that the Portland sighting is generally acknowledged as the largest. As you might expect, the newspapers sought out expert opinions on the subject. Frederick Courts, a psychology professor at Reed College, thought it was a hallucination, brought on by “the nervousness of the public over reports of atomic warfare and guided projectiles.” The Rev. Jessie Falmer of Portland’s Assembly of God church took it as a portent that the end was near. Myself, I kind of lean toward the mass hallucination theory, if only because it’s been 57 years now and the world’s still with us. And of course, it could have been visitors from outer space, too. MILITARY SHIP’S ALIEN CRAFT ENCOUNTER OFF THE ISLAND OF GUAM

Location of Sighting: About 15 Miles Off of Island of Guam From Navy Ship


The witness report his sighting via voice-mail (as recorded above). I later had a lengthy conversation with the veteran. He said that he was a quartermaster on a Navy trawler off of the island of Guam. He and several crew mates sighted an object underwater that was pacing them. The object had a flashing red light. They immediately knew that the object was no submarine. The ship changed course to see if the object would continue to follow. It apparently did. The ship’s captain called central command on Guam to report the incident. Immediately a F14 fighter was scrambled. The veteran said that he saw after burners from the fighter jet. It flew close to the water and apparently the USO (unidentified submerged object) sped off at nearly the speed of sound (mach 0.8). The next day all of the crew members who witnessed the sighting were debriefed on Guam by two men in gray suits. Crew members were told to sign statements saying that they would “never” speak of the incident amongst themselves or anyone else. Violation would mean court marshal. The incident also was removed from the ship’s log. The veteran is now 54 and feels free to talk of the incident which occurred 35 years ago.

Note: Here is another incident whereby servicemen see UFOs (or USOs) and are forced to sign statements pledging silence. I spoke at length with this veteran and he seemed quite credible. He also related a story regarding the father of his physician whereby UFOs would emerge unscathed after H-bomb (or A-bomb) tests in the Pacific. NOTE: The above image is CGI.

ALIEN BLUE ORB ENCOUNTER OVER PHILADEPHIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Hey KENNETH…. sorry to bother you but myself and a couple others have seen this object 3 more times including last night. I thought I was filming it but realized after it disappeared, I never hit the record button. I wasn’t thinking straight. Planes where departing Philadelphia international airport at the time it appeared out of nowhere. It moved slowly above the Delaware river when we noticed a jet taking off. As it climbed the jet banked to the left heading into Pennsylvania. When the round blue object darted over to the jet and it appeared to be under the jet, then it stopped and hovered and didn’t move and the jet continued on. Then it slowly moved back to the right when it turned to red and moved extremely fast. Then it made Candy cane hook and descended to the river diagonally. Then as it was descending it disappeared. We need help here in Gloucester City. Thanks. Just wanted you to know. The above image is CGI.

KENS NOTE: Gloucester City is located within the TCA–terminal control area–of Phila International Airport. The Philadelphia Navy Yard is located next to the airport. The Airport and Navy Yard are on the Delaware river. There have been a few sightings in this area and I have witnessed two of these UFO sightings.
