SILVER COLORED ORB FOLLOWED LARGE JUMBO JET OVER VIRGINIA
JULY 2008 McLEAN VIRGINIA
I was outside one day in my driveway, on a hot July afternoon about 1:00pm (lived at the top of a hillside) and happened to hear a jet, so I looked up to see the jet. It was a 747, moving due east up about 10 thousand feet. At the back end of the jet a silver shaped ball about 5 feet in circumference was following the jet, right behind it, by about 5-10 feet behind the tail section I estimated. The silver ball was under its own power, made no contrail or sound, as it followed the jets’ tail section, and it was so unusual I kept staring at it until the jet and it dissapeared from view. I went inside and looked up the number to the F.A.A.radio facility in Leesburg, Va. to ask them if anything like this had been seen reported by aircraft or others. Of course they denied that they had any information at all. After I hung up with them, (about 20 minutes had past by this time) I went back outside, and just looked up again, and I saw the silver ball going back the other way(west) at the same altitude it had before.It was travelling straight line and making no sound. First off, I don’t understand what caused me to go back outside. Secondly, why did I look back up again, because of the first time I saw the silver ball following the jet, I knew it wasn’t our aircraft. If it is a mechanical drone from say the Air Force, sent to sniff out a plane, for whatever reason, then people need to be aware that these things exist, and not cover them up. I wish to remain anonymous, fearing government encounters. NOTE: The above image is a rendering.
