MARINE SPOTS A UFO ON THE ARTILERY RANGE OF 29 PALMS
6-30-78 29 PALMS CALIFORNIA
While in the Marine Corp, I saw two UFO’s that looked oval and chrome and moved together very quickly. As a young man, I was up on a hill observing fire missions from artillery units, when I spotted two bright objects over the mountain range infront of me. As I adjusted fire missions they came closer. Thats when I heard and seen two jets coming from the right hand side. The two UFO’s pull back as the two jets continue to approach. All of the sudden the UFO’s just shot up in to the sky the made those jets look like they were standing still. I called a check fire and they came back with whats wrong. I told them there was UFO’s in the impact area. I was told to report it to my commanding officer. After reporting what I seen to the C.O., I was told that when we are out in the field, we should not concern ourselves with strange things we may see. Later that month, I was in camp pendelton when out in the field at night after beding down in front of my truck, I saw and heard what seem to be a marine helicopter with its lights shining down on me. When I pointed my finger at them they took off. Later I thought to myself that what they were trying to do was make me think that what I saw in the desert was a marine chopper. I can say with confidence we do not have anything that moves like what I seen in 29 palms.
