MILITARY MANEUVERS BUZZED BY ALIEN CRAFT IN THE ATLANTIC

In the vicinity of Denmark & Norway. September, 1952. A particularly interesting series of UFO reports came from the vicinity of the “Operation Mainbrace” NATO maneuvers held in September 1952.  The maneuvers commenced September 13th and lasted twelve days. According to the U. S. Navy, “units of eight NATO governments and New Zealand participated, including 80,000 men, 1,000 planes, and 200 ships . . . in the vicinity of Denmark and Norway . . . .” Directed by British Admiral Sir Patrick Brind, “it was the largest NATO maneuver held up until that time.”  September 13–The Danish destroyer Willemoes, participating in the maneuvers, was north of Bornholm Island. During the night, Lieutenant Commander Schmidt Jensen and several members of the crew saw an unidentified object, triangular in shape, which moved at high speed toward the southeast. The object emitted a bluish glow. Commander Jensen estimated the speed at over 900 mph.  Within the next week, there were four important sightings by well-qualified observers. (Various sources differ by a day or two on the exact dates, but agree on details. There is no question about the authenticity of the sightings; the British cases were officially reported by the Air Ministry, the others are confirmed by reliable witnesses. All occurred on or about September 20).  September 19–A British Meteor jet aircraft was returning to the airfield at Topcliffe, Yorkshire, England, just before 11 A. M. As it approached for landing, a silvery object was observed following it, swaying back and forth like a pendulum. Lieutenant John W. Kilburn and other observers on the ground said that when the Meteor began circling, the UFO stopped. It was disk-shaped, and rotated on its axis while hovering. The disk suddenly took off westward at high speed, changed course, and disappeared to the southeast.

About September 20–Personnel of the U.S.S. Franklin D. Roosevelt, an aircraft carrier participating in the Mainbrace maneuvers, observed a silvery, spherical object which was also photographed. (The pictures have never been made public). The UFO was seen moving across the sky behind the fleet. Reporter Wallace Litwin took a series of color photographs, which were examined by Navy Intelligence officers. The Air Force project chief, Captain Ruppelt stated: “[The pictures] turned out to be excellent . . . . judging by the size of the object in each successive photo, one could see that is was moving rapidly.” The possibility that a balloon had been launched from one of the ships was immediately checked out. No unit had launched a balloon. A poor print of one of the photographs appears in the Project Blue Book files, but with no analysis report.  September 20–At Karup Field, Denmark, three Danish Air Force officers sighted a UFO about 7:30 P.M. The object, a shiny disk with metallic appearance, passed overhead from the direction of the fleet and disappeared in clouds to the east.  September 21–Six British pilots flying a formation of RAF jets above the North Sea observed a shiny sphere approaching from the direction of the fleet. The UFO eluded their pursuit and disappeared. When returning to base, one of the pilots looked back and saw the UFO following him. He turned to chase it, but the UFO also turned and sped away.  September 27/28–Throughout Western Germany, Denmark, and southern Sweden, there were widespread UFO reports. A brightly luminous object with a cometlike tail was visible for a long period of time moving irregularly near Hamburg and Kiel. On one occasion, three satellite objects were reported moving around a larger object. A cigar-shaped object moving silently eastward also was reported.  Since existing documentation shows that U. S. Navy and Air Force Intelligence, and the RAF, were studying these incidents, it is a safe assumption that more information exists in the files of NATO, the British Air Ministry, the U. S. I hope the following is of use to you. Until the first Sunday in January 1970 I was a non-believer in UFOs.  Although I grew up in a family who were not open minded as to things of an extraterrestrial nature I still managed to follow the progress of the US and Russian space programs, believing that their achievements were milestones in mankind’s quest for a better understanding of the universe. Now these events seem primitive compared to the craft I witnessed at Terara and Culburra.  My parent s and I moved to Terara from St George’s Basin in mid 1969 after selling our eight-acre farm on Island Point Road. My father bought a five-acre property near the intersection of Milbank Road and the main Terara Road. While we were building our house we lived in a corrugated iron shed which would eventually be a workshop and provide storage for the tractor and farm implements. Our shed was probably 40 feet long by 15 feet wide. I mention these measurements because they are relevant to the first sighting.  On the morning of the first sighting I was unable to sleep as it had been a hot night and inside the shed it was like an oven. Mum and Dad were sleeping so I put the earphone in the radio and tried to take my mind off the heat. I had just settled down when there was a weird whistling and crackling sound followed by nothing. At this stage I should like to mention that I have a keen interest in electronics and anything mechanical. So with this in mind you can understand my curiosity as to what was happening with the radio. I moved the radio around to place the aerial in a better position but that didn’t work so I wiggled the earphone plug, still nothing. At first I thought the local oscillator had drifted off frequency or it may have been as simple as an audio stage failure. There was nothing just a low hiss, which seemed normal for a cheap transistor radio when there is no signal to drive the audio stages.  While I was fussing with the radio I noticed it was getting close to dawn so I decided to go outside and cool off. As I usually do I scanned the sky to see what kind of a day it was going to be. As I did I noticed a bright star over towards the Shoalhaven River (northwards) which runs almost parallel to Terara Road. I remember how bright it looked. I had never seen such a bright blue star in that portion of the sky before.  Just as I was trying to get my eyes better focused on it, it disappeared. I remember my thoughts being that stars surely don’t just appear to go out, like a light being switched off. After some searching it appeared over our shed, only extremely high, too high to even guess its height. Just as before it vanished from view.  The next time I caught sight of it I almost fell to my knees. It was not very high up, perhaps only one or two thousand feet. It appeared to be flying at the height that single engine aircraft fly over towns etc. Now it was very clear what it was. It was shaped like a huge disk and from the size of our shed I would put its diameter at about 45 feet across. In the centre of the underside there was a beautiful blue glow. This was coming from a smaller circle of about 12 feet. As it descended it was wobbling from side to side and I remember feeling very numb and wondering whether to run or not. I ran to hide behind a post in the fence that separated the house paddock from the rest of the farm.

By now the craft was only a few feet from the ground. It appeared as though it was about 10 feet thick at the centre and tapered to about two or perhaps three feet at the rim. Around the outer edge of the rim I could just make out black rectangular shapes. These were darker than the actual surface of the craft, so I took them to be windows or portholes of some kind. There was no light coming from any of them.  By now the sun was just coming up and as the craft neared the ground it cast an oval shadow on the ground. As it descended even closer to the ground the beautiful blue glow from underneath was illuminating the grass, making it flatten out as though some invisible weight was being placed upon it. There was a low humming sound, something like that you hear when close to the huge transformers at a substation. The air was full of the odour of hot electrical parts. When the craft was about 5 or 6 feet from the ground a sound like a power drill could be heard and then four shiny legs extended at an angle from the underside, each about the thickness of a person’s arm. On the end of each leg there was a flat plate on which the craft rested when it landed.  I sat huddled even closer behind my post in the hope that I should not be seen. After a while the electrical smell drifted away and the hum ceased along with the blue glow which just faded away. The craft was a beautiful sight, it certainly was not of this world. There were no seams or rivet marks, just a beautifully polished metallic surface somewhat like gunmetal. It was absolutely stunning to look at, even in those confused moments I wondered what kind of technical skills would be needed to create such a perfect machine as this certainly was. In the morning sun the whole thing glittered as though it was made of gold, even the gunmetal surface seemed to sparkle. The top gently sloped up until it was about 12 or 18 inches thick. At the apex it rose another foot or so where a beautiful golden ball was attached to the shaft. The underside of the craft was only slightly curved; perhaps it could have rested upon the ground even without the landing supports. While all this was happening I was no more than 100 feet away. I decided to get just a bit closer. To do this I would have to crawl through the fence wires. I grabbed the lowest strand of barbed wire and received a hell of an electric shock, which threw me heavily to the ground.   After being flattened by the fence wire whoever or whatever was at the controls must have realized I was close by, because the hum started and the blue glow once more reflected on the grass and the craft began to gently rise. When it had reached a couple of hundred feet it slipped sideways and shot off at tremendous speed towards the river. When it had departed all I was left with was a swish of hot air which once again smelled like burnt electrical components. That wonderful machine was now just a blue dot high over the river, within seconds it had disappeared completely.  After that day I went back to doing nothing for the next few days over the Christmas holiday, but I could not settle down. The whole thing haunted me. I could only ponder the question “Why me?”  NOTE: The above image is CGI.

3:00 a.m. EST. A witness saw a bright red object that looked like an upside down saucer (disc) with a white glowing rim. The object approached and circled the witness’s home before moving away and disappearing. (Fowler, 1974, p. 343.).

Jan. 15, 1967; Granville, MA
5:45 p.m. EST. A woman and her two nieces saw a domed disc with white light emanating from portholes in its base. A humming sound was heard, and the sky and ground were illuminated by white light. Red flame jets appeared at one end when motion occurred. Speed was variable. At one point all its lights went out, and when they came back on, the portholes were showing red light. The object was seen three times within 20 minutes before disappearing. A military jet accidents, which remained unexplained to this day, took place  during the month of October 1974, during test flights commemorating the 26th Aeronautics and Space Week.   On Wednesday the 23rd of that month, a Douglas A-4B “Skyhawk” fighter bomber, manned by Lt. Jose Van Deer, crashed in the vicinity of Maria Teresa to the south of Santa Fe Province. The pilot managed to activate his ejection seat, thus saving his life.  According to information provided by a “duly identified person living in the city of Venado Tuerto”, a group of isolated witnesses claimed seeing a large object only moments before the accident. Even farmers herding their animals confirmed the presence of an airplane – a military one – that appeared to be escorted by an enormous ** metallic disk ** that vanished in a matter of seconds. In the light of this situation, military authorities commenced the pertinent investigations in order to ascertain what the witnesses had seen, and to the greatest extent possible, identify the “strange vehicle” that local residents had connected to the airplane accident.   The unusual attitude taken by Lt. Van Deer is also curious. In his nervous phone conversation from the María Teresa train station, he employed such expressions as “mechanical difficulties brought about by magnetic phenomena.” There was talk among train station employees – based on information given by Van Deer himself, that within the cockpit, the entire airplane was magnetized.   Some of the fragmented parts of the phone conversation between the pilot and members of the Argentinean Air Force was picked up by a yard control dispatcher at the Belgrano “Rosario Norte” Train Station. Utmost secrecy surrounded the event. However, as the witness had been ordered, he took great care not to disclose what he knew, yet weeks later, he was removed from service, abruptly and inexplicably.  NOTE: The above image is a rendering.

So it was that we received a message from Leandro Castro on Facebook, detailing the sighting of an object that he was also able to photograph.   “Hi Andrea! Good evening. I’m Leandro Castro, I’m from the locality of Desvío Arijón, a little town between Sauce Viejo and Coronda in the Province of Santa Fe. I live by the Coronda River, and I took the photo on Friday, February 19 after one of the heavy storms we had that month. In the photo you can see something flying over the river…it was spectacular, on account of its lights and how close it was! Regrettably, we took some photos with our cellphones and they cannot be seen clearly, but I was able to pull out a little digital camera and take two shots. Having not used the camera for a while, its battery was running low and it turned off…it almost seemed deliberate, ha,ha…well, Andrea, I hope you can use this photo. I have been following your page for a long time, and someday I’ll visit your museum. Best regards!”   After thanking him for his message, he replied:”You’re welcome, Andrea! Thank you for replying. I’ve always been drawn to these things. I like reading about UFOs and suchlike. The photo shows a disk with three pairs of lights and some smaller ones among the larger lights. You can’t make out the disk…but the lights define the shape!”

Account from Eunice Stansfield, aged 61. (One of at least four witnesses.)

Seen above southern section of township of Quirindi, NSW (31deg 30 min South, 150deg 41min East) some 61 km (south) from Tamworth.  Soon after midday – around 1 o’clock(?) Eunice and Noelene were in the back garden finishing their cups of tea. Noelene lay down on bench looking straight up into the sky, while Eunice took the cups back inside. On returning Eunice heard Noelene say “That’s going bloody fast!”  Eunice looked directly upwards where Noeleen was pointing and saw a silver ball moving quickly across the sky from East to West (?) over Quirindi.  Then several other objects appeared. They were all a long way up “higher than the jets they often see going overhead” and were a bright metallic grey with a size “like tennis balls”. They moved quickly, or stopped (hovered) and started in a very complex series of movements. They moved up and down and around, but “never got any lower than the usual height normal planes travel over [Quirindi] at”. The objects made absolutely no noise.  Her husband, Mario (an ex NATO pilot in the 6-day Middle East war)  also noticed the balls in the sky.  She noticed that one of the larger spheres seemed to turn side-on slightly , and she could see that it was in fact two spheres, connected (“tethered”) by a cylinder (soon after described to Eunice as a “dumb-bell” shape). Two of these dumbbells were seen during the sighting, which lasted well over 1.5 hours (possibly 2 hours).  Mostly the objects were the smaller, simple spheres and at one time there were about 20 objects in the sky at once. They tended to arrive slowly from the East or the West “in waves”, before beginning their fast and complex maneuvers.  Eunice described the larger objects as being “2-3 inches long” at arm’s length which suggests they were between 820 and 980 metres across (900 + 80 metres) –

Maneuvers very complex, and covered whole of the sky – difficult for any one witness to follow all that was going on:  Examples of movements (some details to be confirmed):

1. Objects in formation would veer off to the left and right, or come up close to each other, almost to the same point and stop/hover – showing fast, precise flying, right-angle turns, or same complex maneuvers mirrored by several objects, or objects moving side-by-side.

2. Would come in reasonably slow but maneuver very fast – at “a speed like jets” turning and formation flying. Up to 20 maneuvering at a time, and others “coming in over the house”

.

3. At one time there were four spheres stacked up one on top of each other and stationary.

.

4. Lines of stationary spheres would leapfrog one another. One sphere would move up and over a stationary one in front or behind it and fall into line position in front or behind the stationary sphere by exactly the same distance. The next sphere would leapfrog under its neighboring sphere and take up position. These were precise and deliberate, controlled movements.

5. From a flying ‘arrowhead’ formation of five, one banked left, one right, one or two would fly straight-ahead and one fly straight downwards.

6. Two spheres followed each other in tight formation and at very high speed while other spheres were moving in and around these two central objects, travelling even faster and in a more intricate flightpath.

7. Mario saw at least one of the smaller spheres fly up and into one of the bigger dumb bells (after he had been talking to another Ufologist he began referring to these two larger dumbbell craft as ‘motherships’)

8. One of the stationary dumbbells had a smaller sphere head directly towards it at very high speed as if to collide, then executed a right-angle turn, and swerved to pass right through the dumbbell and came out the other side unchanged — all at high speed!

No ‘exhaust’ could be seen when these objects flew in a straight line from A – B. But when objects maneuvering, they could clearly see a light whitish material streaming out from inside (?) the object and behind (this was definitely not a vapour); “it came out of the back of the craft and fell downwards.”  The light material appeared to consolidate into long, substantial whitish strands that could be seen falling slowly downwards all around the local area, onto telephone wires and trees. It was not being blown by the wind – there was no wind – there had been several days of heavy rain previously (in other nearby parts of NSW record rainfalls had/were creating flood conditions); Monday was the first clear, clean blue-sky day after this rain. The air temperature was still cool and wintry.  The white material appeared to be carried by slight warm-air “thermals”. Very little of this material actually landed in Eunice’s place, but pieces fell in surrounding areas and on the street nearby. Noelene first retrieved a 30-cm strand from a nearby bush – it was extremely light, whitish and strong, like cotton, requiring a good tug to break. It quickly “dissolved” away to nothing when handled. NOTE:The above image is CGI.

I have been exploring the NASA hi-definition photos of the planets for many years.  Sometimes I do find a section of Mars that has many strange structures and possible Alien Craft.   You can find these photo on Google Mars by just clicking on the icon while on Google Earth.  Nasa makes these photos hard to find because they seem to have many web sites that are very confusing.  Below I have included the source of the images I have just discovered.
