Jerry Linenger has revealed there were
multiple instances that made the entire space crew aboard the International
Space Station scratch their heads. Linenger, a former NASA astronaut, referred
to the anomalies as unidentified flying objects while requested the media not
to take him out of context.
Linenger admitted to seeing multiple
bizarre objects or unexplained things during his five-month stay in space. He recalled how he and colleagues could only
guess and ask among themselves what they witnessed. He claimed to have seen
stuff that made him call his crewmates over.
Linenger, who’s also a former captain of
the U.S. Navy Medical Corps, not only stayed at NASA’s ISS but also did a stint
at the Russian Space Station Mir, which operated from the mid-1980s to 2001.
Along with two Russian crewmates, he spent five months at the SS Mir, which was situated 250 miles above Earth while orbiting the planet 2,000 miles. He was the first American astronaut to perform a spacewalk from a non-American space station while wearing a foreign space suit.
Linenger has made a disclaimer, though, that he made no mention of seeing aliens but only UFOs. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
Although the exact date is uncertain, at around 2 am in the early hours of a January morning in 1954, Armando Zurbaran was driving along between Mexico City and Acapulco. He was on his way to meet a business partner and his hope was to be there before dawn. The winding roads, however, would make his journey that bit longer.
It was as he was negotiating these winding roads, his car headlights cutting through the night that rushed to greet his windscreen, he suddenly began to feel an intense tiredness. In fact, more than tired, Zurbaran began to feel in a “hypnotic state of lethargy”. He would ultimately pull his car to the side of the road in order to gather his thoughts a moment. When he did so, however, he noticed a strange scene awaiting him.
In front of him was a strange object in the middle of the road. He would later describe it as “brilliantly lit”. Furthermore, around this object were several strange men. Each wore the same style of overalls with an extremely wide belt around their waists. They appeared to all be long-haired. He continued to watch the scene for several more seconds.
Then, something truly strange happened.
In what seemed like a flash he was out of his vehicle and walking toward the strange craft. What’s more, the strange men were “escorting” him to the glowing object. As he neared it, a “slight buzzing” became audible to him. He then entered the otherworldly craft.
Not The First, Nor The Last!
Upon entering the craft, he asked why they had chosen him for the “honor” of such a momentous meeting. The response was both fascinating and at least slightly potentially ominous at the same time when he was told that:
You are neither the first nor the last Earthman to be chosen for testing. Our task, slow though it may seem, is designed to persuade. We choose the likeliest, most malleable persons for contact so that they might better transmit our messages!
What messages were being passed on to the rest of humanity by these “persuaded” individuals? And how slow did slow really mean in this instance? Might it suggest that the alien presence on our planet has been here for a lot longer than the last half a century or so since the Roswell crash which, unofficial though it might be, hailed the beginning of the modern UFO era?
As if to prove their superiority he was shown a “review of the smallest details of his life” on a screen inside the ship. Then, one of the strange men took him around the craft. He would answer any questions he might have as he walked around. It was then that he was informed that the ship which he was on was no longer on the ground. In fact, it was no longer on the planet. He was instead, traveling through space.
Traversing Space Using A “Gravity Repulsion System!”
Some of the details offered by Zurbaran regarding the spacecraft and more specifically the propulsion methods that it employed are remarkably similar to details that would surface in the late eighties and early nineties from such people as Bob Lazar.
The spacecraft’s propulsion, for example, used a “gravity repulsion system” to travel from one heavenly body to another. This sounds very similar to how some researchers and whistleblowers state the propulsion systems of recovered alien vehicles in the hands of the United States’ government work. A British charter jet has had a close encounter with a UFO said to be “the size of a battleship.”
The shocked pilot and crew of a Debonair BAe146 plane reported being buzzed by “a long cylindrical object” as they flew over the North Sea.
Three other pilots have also independently logged seeing the bright object 58 miles off the coast of Denmark.
Last night the Civil Aviation Authority confirmed a comprehensive report of the pilot’s sighting had been received.
The report says the captain and crew first became aware of the object after the underside of the plane was immersed in “an incandescent light.”
A CAA spokeswoman said: “The captain reported seeing an unnatural bright light below his aircraft while flying at 28,000 ft. The area below him was illuminated for about 10 seconds by incandescent light and it was certainly not a light from another plane.
“Three other aircraft saw it moving at a high speed or static. However, air traffic control were informed and they confirmed that there were no other planes in the vicinity.
“Then, five minutes later, there was a brief radar return from a spot 75 miles away. We believe there was no danger involved.”
The Luton-based 96-seater plane was flying company executives from Linkoping, Sweden, to Humberside airport. A spokesman for Debonair, which runs cut-price flights throughout Europe, said chief executive Franco Mancassola had been informed that a “great red light in the sky” had been spotted near one of the company’s planes.
At one stage, the report says, the object came to an abrupt halt before accelerating past the airliner at thousands of miles an hour.
A CAA source says the object was tracked by a military radar station in Yorkshire after it entered UK air space.
A spokesman for the 6,000 member British Pilots Association said: “We get reports of this nature from our members, but they are few and far between.
“In the past 10 years or so I would say there have been around six cases of UFOs being sighted.
“Many pilots are reluctant to make such claims because it tends to lay them open to ridicule. So when they do go as far as making a report we do expect it to be given credence.”
Another claim of alien abduction in Texas, in the town of Vidor, just before midnight on the evening of 11th October 1994. Once more, according to the report, the witness believes the incident happened “directly in front” of their home. Similarly, the incident was also reported in 2007.
The report claims that the witness, a young boy at the time, was walking home when a “sudden bright light” appeared out of nowhere. It “hit” the witness and caused him to “freeze”.
Then, bizarrely, the next thing he realized he was running down the street as fast as he could. What’s more, he had a feeling of absolute terror running through him, although he wasn’t sure why. As he continued to run, he also realized he was suddenly quite a lot further away than he was when he had seen the strange light. As if it had transported him back to an earlier spot.
When he finally did arrive home, his extremely distressed mother informed him he was two hours late, with the time now just after 1 am. He would go to bed, confused. He would, though, keep the experience to himself.
When he was in the shower, however, he would discover three strange dots in a triangular formation under his arm. What’s more, he would begin to suffer strange and bizarre nightmares of laying a “bright, cold room” with strange figures of “tall and petite” sizes standing around him.
The incident remains unexplained. It isn’t known if this incident was a one-off event or part of a recurring abduction experience. NOTE: The above images are CGI.
Late one October evening in 1994, an unnamed woman would suddenly feel the need to leave her bed and walk over to her 6-month old son who was asleep in his crib by the window. Only when she looked down into his small bed, it was completely empty.
It was at that moment, with the sense of fear and panic regarding the location of her young son running through her, that she also realized she had no actual recollection of going to bed that evening. Before she could give it any more thought, the sound of her son crying would ring out. At the same time, a bright light announced itself from outside, seeping through the closed window blinds.
She would attempt to wake her husband who, despite the commotion of the situation, remained fast asleep throughout. This is an interesting detail and one that discreetly shows up in other accounts of alien abduction. That one person – the abductee – remains fully conscious and aware of the bizarre events, while anyone else in the room remains asleep, but unnaturally so. As if under some kind of advanced and unknown (to us) technology. This would, then, suggest the purposeful targeting of a specific person over others.
She would attempt to turn on the bedroom light but try as she might, the power would not come on and the room remained in darkness.
Then, another flash of light filled the room immediately followed by the cries of her baby son. When her eyes refocused from the sudden light, her son was there in front of her in his crib.
A Huge, Black, Triangular Craft Hovering Over The House!
She reached out to him immediately and scooped him from his bed doing her best to soothe his obviously distressed state.
After assuring herself that he was safe and unharmed, she reached for the blind at the window and pulled it open. As she peered outside, she could clearly see a triangular-shaped UFO hovering over the house. She would recall:
It was very low, and larger than the house. If I had been on the roof, I could have touched it! It was astonishing! I could not believe my eyes! (Also) It made no sound!
As she watched the bizarre scene play out, she quickly scanned the other houses on the street. She could clearly see that all of the lights were out. Unless anyone happened to be looking out of their window in the dark, it was most likely that she was the only person witnessing this most surreal event.
As the enormity of such a situation fully dawned on her, she let the blinds fall back into place and backed away from the bedroom window. A moment later, the light from outside went out. She remained where she was, stood in the middle of the room with her young son in her arms.
After an unknown amount of time, she slowly walked over to the window once again. She peered outside and was relieved to find the bizarre object was no longer there. Not wanting to have her son out of her sight, however, she returned to bed with the young baby in between herself and her husband. In what was a surprisingly short time, she fell asleep.
A Strange Delay In Recall!
Quite bizarrely, upon waking the following morning, although her son was safe and awake in between herself and her husband, she couldn’t recall why he was there. Nor could she recall any details of the night before. It would take several hours for her to fully recall what had taken place in the middle of the previous night.
Upon the recollection flooding back to her she immediately made her way to her son to check him for any wounds or markings. She wouldn’t find anything out of the ordinary. When she checked herself, however, she would discover a strange mark on her leg. What’s more, when she pressed her finger on the mark it felt as though there was something hard, like a pea or small pellet underneath the skin.
Although she would tell her mother of the discovery, she would keep the encounter from everyone else. And would wait for over a decade before reporting the incident via an online reporting platform.
The mark on her leg would remain, and at the time of the report (around 2007), it was still very visible. The item under the skin, however, has “either gone or (is) buried on the muscle now”.
What’s more, although she wouldn’t elaborate, the witness would claim that this “is just one of many strange experiences” she had encountered. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
one evening in December 1991, 13-year-old Jared Lee lived with his family in the Havana region of Florida. On this particular evening, at around 10 pm after returning from nearby Tallahassee to pick up a pizza, Jared would notice a strange light as he climbed out of the family car.
It appeared as though the lights were moving and were coming down to land from over the nearby trees. The young boy immediately called out to his parents so they too could see the strange event unfold.
They turned and watched for several seconds. Their first thought, due to the “sweeping” nature of the lights across the ground, was that they were night hunters looking for deer. However, when they realized the true height of the lights they had to all but dismiss this theory.
All three of the family watched. Each beginning to feel a little unnerved by the incident taking place in front of them. As they did the car horn suddenly sounded out. Then, a “large orange glowing ball of light” began to move independently of the others. This was followed by a blue-green ball of light. Then, they suddenly went out leaving nothing but darkness.
The family remained where they were before a “large beam of intense, glistening, white-gold light” suddenly cut through the sky and hit the ground. At the top of the light, a large metallic craft was clearly visible as the source of the light beam.
After around 10 to 15 minutes, the craft suddenly vanished and with it the beam of light.
Whether that beam of light was concentrated on an individual nearby or whether it would eventually find Jared only he hasn’t declared as such or simply doesn’t recall, the incident remains unexplained.
Laser Paralysis – A Discreet But Persistent Detail In Close Contact Encounters
It would appear that the idea of a light beam of some kind being used to induce paralysis (while causing no lasting harm to the individual) is one that comes up a lot in close contact UFO reports. So much so, in fact, that it would be irresponsible to ignore it completely.
What’s more, reports that feature such details as paralyzing lights or lasers, are spread out right across the reports of the modern UFO era. The fact that they can be found in reports from all decades of the second half of the twentieth century. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
The evening of 5th December 1980, according to the report, was a “bitterly cold” one. And for the anonymous 13-year-old witness, a disturbing and life-changing one. At around 6:30 pm he burst into his family home from the back yard. As he did he would claim that he had witnessed a UFO that was “bigger than a house”.
His mother and stepfather, although a little dubious perhaps for obvious reasons, found his story quite compelling. Not to mention the look of fear and display of agitation on his part. This was surely too fine a display for one so young.
The object had, he claimed, suddenly appeared “from nowhere” and hovered overhead. Then, a light beam emerged from the underside of the craft and seemingly struck him below. Almost immediately he found he couldn’t move while at the same time a strange “mumbling in his head” began. This would continue for around 10 minutes before he believed he lost consciousness.
Even stranger, when investigators spoke to him shortly after they discovered a “painless, sunburn-like redness” on his upper torso. The witness himself was unaware of the marking. Furthermore, he couldn’t remember any more of the events. Following losing consciousness, the next thing he remembered was walking from the garden toward the house.
However, his parents would suggest leaving a small tape recorder by his bed that night. They would claim that during times of stress he would often talk of the events in his sleep. It would prove to be a move that was crucial in attempting to understand just what took place outside their home that evening.
An Abduction From Afar And Paranormal Happenings!
Over the course of several nights, the parents and investigators would be able to, albeit partially, piece together the incidents of the night in question. According to these recordings, shortly after the beam of light hit him, he could hear a voice inside his head giving him instructions. Furthermore, the voice would state that they “wanted to examine him”. While also promising him that no harm would come to him.
While it isn’t clear if an abduction took place in the sense we might readily understand it – in that he was somehow physically transported to the ship above – or if the examination took place somehow via the beam of light that had temporarily ensnared him. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
On July 27, 1999, something crashed into the 40 foot deep Lake Backsjön north of Arvika in Värmland, Sweden, according to a number of eyewitness accounts. Those who saw the unknown object called it “something with small wings”. Military officials would stick with the “nothing at all” explanation. Four different people claim to have seen an oblong object plunge into the waters of Backsjon.
The object was described as about 15 feet long and about 4-5 feet wide. There was a definite splash as the object smacked into the lake, throwing water into the air. One witnesses contacted the rescue station in Arvika; they turned the inquiry back to local police, who made their report. Police Chief of Staff Stellan Jansson told the media that all witnesses of the event were interviewed.
It would be the latter part of August that a full search of the lake began. Involved in the operation was the military, security police, and Arvika rescue personnel. Although witness statements were considered legitimate, the rescue teams soon discovered that a much more elaborate, and costly operation was needed. The lake was some 2 miles long, and a half mile wide.
On the thirteenth day of September, “Operation Sea Find” began. The team this time was composed of 14 men, of which 8 were expert divers. Also employed was Sweden’s most high tech sonar equipment along with under water photography. A cover-up scenario was the explanation give to local residents, claiming that the entire operation was a home defense exercise.
Officials stated several different reasons for their operations; one was that robberies in governmental facilities had breached security, and missing items could have been dropped into the lake, and also that if the object was found to be foreign made, it could be some type of surveillance equipment related to the recent thefts in the area.
Rescue operations ultimately claimed that nothing of significance was found; only a plastic bag and a metal barrel, dashing the hopes of locals who thought something exotic might be found. Jansson told the community that ten full days was given to the search, and though they were confident that something would be found, they came up empty.
Jansson also stated that because of the size of the lake, to fully search the lake would have taken a year or more. But, he was satisfied that if something unusual was in the lake, his team would have found it. A final report of rescue results was sent to government headquarters in Stockholm on October 1, 1999. Two pages of the report were not classified, but transcripts of security Police interviews and a description of the methods used in the search were classified. UFO-Sweden filed a request to de-classify the secret documents. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
In July 2009, I received that call. A young woman, named Mandy, stated that her life had become a living Hell and that she could no longer leave the house in the evening. “I am literally afraid of the dark and under siege in my own home at night!”
Mandy was living in a farmhouse outside a small town in east-central Washington, less than a mile from the Idaho border. About 2 weeks prior to contacting me, her and her mother had noticed bright red and white lights hovering above the Coeur d’Alene Mountains. As they watched the lights, Mandy began to feel dizzy and fearful. That night, she had a horrific nightmare that involved constant flashing lights and loud mechanical noises. The next morning, she woke feeling nauseous and light-headed. Mandy was a schoolteacher but had to call in sick.
By the next day, Mandy began to feel better, but the lights over the mountains continued on for several nights. She no longer had any dreams, but she still had the sense of fear linger with her. Her mother thought that Mandy was simply over-reacting to the sighting of the lights.
Then a few nights later, Mandy and her mother were in the kitchen cleaning up after a late dinner. They began to hear popping sounds coming from the back yard. As they looked out the window, they both noticed hundreds of small red and white lights flying in all directions. Each time a pair of lights collided, there was a distinct popping. Mandy ran into the living room and looked out the window. There were red and white lights everywhere, out by the road and in the field.
Her mother picked up the telephone in order to call the police, but there was no dial tone. By that time, the lights in the house began to flicker. There were also strange sounds coming from the roof, similar to scratching. This continued for about 5 minutes, then suddenly stopped. They were both confused and scared. The phone was now working, but her mother thought that there was no reason to call the police.
Mandy walked outside to see if there was any indication of what had just occurred. Everything seemed fine, but there was a slight odor in the air. She told me that it reminded her of burnt motor oil, but she couldn’t find a source. She eventually went back inside the house, but still bewildered by what had happened.
The next night, at approximately 10:30 p.m. Mandy was getting ready for bed. While standing in front of her bathroom mirror, she noticed two loud thuds on the roof. She went into her mother’s room to see if she had heard the sounds, but she was already in bed asleep. While walking in the upstairs hallway towards her room, she heard several more thuds on the roof, as well as scampering sounds in the attic. She looked out her bedroom window and once again witnessed hundreds of small red and white lights flying about in different directions. The noises in the attic had waken her mother. They both yelled for each other, as all the electricity in the house cut off.
They ran into Mandy’s room and sat nervously on the bed. The thuds on the roof and the scampering in the attic continued. They lit a few candles, hoping the activity would soon end. They felt like prisoners in their own home, worried about what would happen next. Then suddenly, the lights came back on and the noises stopped. Mandy later told me that the commotion went on for at least an hour. Neither of them got much sleep that night.
A few days later, Mandy contacted me by telephone. I was referred to her by a paranormal investigator in Spokane. As soon as I began talking to Mandy and her mother, I sensed that this was not any run-of-the-mill unexplained encounter. They had once again experienced similar activity the previous night. Mandy commented that she felt like they were both in danger and asked if I had ever heard of a similar experience. I was understandably dumbfounded by the series of events but, at the same time, I was concerned that the activity may eventually lead to a physical intervention. I didn’t mention my unease.
I believe that we talked for about 3 hours. There was nothing exceptional about Mandy and her mother. They had lived together in the family home since Mandy was born. There was no information offered about Mandy’s father, so I didn’t press the issue. Her mother had recently retired from her position as a state worker. I asked them to keep a journal on the activity and to contact me. This is my normal routine when working cases. During the interview, Mandy asked; “Why is this happening to us?” I didn’t want to tell her that they may have been singled out, but I really did sense that this may have been the case. Little did I know it would be my last contact with Mandy.
After I got off the telephone with Mandy and her mother, I started to examine several incident databases in an attempt to find any similar events. Continued activity to the same witnesses over a period of time is somewhat unusual, and I was concerned that there may eventually be an escalation.
The next day I expected to receive a follow-up telephone call from Mandy. In fact, I called and left a message asking that she let me know if there had been any further activity. I waited for 3 days, and no telephone call or email came my way. Then, on a Sunday afternoon, the anticipated call came. It was Mandy’s mother. She apologized for not getting back to me. There was an obvious distress in her voice. After a brief pause, she calmly said; “Mandy is missing.”
I got a sudden sick feeling in my stomach. Mandy had gone to bed not long after we had talked on the telephone. Her mother remained downstairs in the living room watching television. At about 11 p.m. she decided to go to her bedroom. As she passed Mandy’s bedroom, she noticed light coming from the bottom of the door. She knocked on the door in order to check on her. There was no response. As she opened the door, the room went completely dark. She flicked on the light switch by the door and observed that Mandy was not in bed. She called out to her, but there was no response. Panic was beginning to set in as she literally screamed, “Mandy!” while running throughout the house. There was no trace of her, inside or out. Mandy was gone.
The local authorities had no explanation. All of Mandy’s personal items, including her car, remained. It was as if she simply vanished. Since Mandy was an adult, there wasn’t really much that the police investigators could do. They suspected that she took off with someone during the night. I asked her mother to keep me updated, but I never really expected to hear back from her. As far as I know, Mandy has never returned home. The last time I made an inquiry with the Washington State Police, her case remains unsolved.
Mandy’s disappearance still haunts me. I am certain that she was abducted by an unknown force, but that doesn’t absolve me of feeling a bit of guilt. I realize that my regret seems ridiculous since there was nothing that I could have done. Nonetheless, I suspect that the stigma of her ordeal will always remain with me. Lon Strickler. OCTOBER 28, 1999 ……….CARLYLE LAKE KEYSPORT ILLIONIS
CARLYLE LAKE, KEYSPORT — During hypnosis of an October 28, 1999, abduction I was out boating on Carlyle Lake. I remembered the flight from the lake to the craft and getting a good view of our town from the air, and going through the floor of the UFO. The boat gradually moved over me and went through the bottom of the craft before I did.
I did not get a good look of the UFO as I was concentrating on my boat and other possessions as we were brought through the floor.
The next thing I recalled is standing inside the craft and seeing an examination table which was on a pedestal that almost reached the edge of the table.
It was molded into the floor. There was some kind of structure over the table that looked like a light or some instruments. The room was rounded and I was guided to the table by a small gray. I remember getting up on the table as if I had done it before.
At that moment, I discovered that my clothes were gone. Shortly there after a larger gray came up and put his face into mine and I felt he was sucking the memory out of me.
I was okay afterward and left alone. I then tried to get to my clothes, but wound up back on the table. After I received some kind of examination, I again went to my clothes and the small grays helped me get them on.
The next thing I remember is sitting in the boat and a ramp with a rounded front that opens up. The grays pushed me and the boat out some 750 feet above the northern portion of Carlyle Lake. I did not stay in the boat, but floated out.
Afterwards, I just forgot the whole thing except the position change which was about one quarter of a mile and I was going in another direction. I have been able to determine that there were two abductions and one failed abduction before during the same year and have recalled parts of others with and without hypnosis.
Two of the abductions and a failed abduction were recorded on a GPS and saved. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
Argentina: A UFO Stole Water from a Military Base in Santa Fe. An effort was made to conceal the case for years, but the proof is undeniable
The case emerges 11 years later and makes manifest the strange repetition of events related to Ufology that are intentionally concealed from the public. The episode occurred on the evening of 24 November 1999 at an army base located in the provincial capital of Santa Fe. A strange “imprint” appeared on the ground. several witnesses directly observed the presence of a 40-meter-long flying object. But that isn’t all, because no one was able to explain the reason why the water tank and two water cisterns that supply the troops were left completely empty.
The exciting story of the event and its subsequent investigation was made known by Grupo Vision OVNI resulting from field work by experts Luis Brussa (general research), Ariel Maderna (photography) and engineer Fabian Rossi (calculation and diagrams).
“After having learned of the event, I decided to go to the base to carry out investigations. Ten days had elapsed. I invited two researcher friends – Ariel and Fabian – to come along. So we grabbed our gear and went out to conduct field research, which is unquestionably the most pleasant and interesting aspect,” says Brussa regarding the origin of the event.
A Search for Truth
“Upon arrival, we were greeted by two soldiers. We told them that we were researchers of the subject and wanted to carry out some studies. They whisked us off to a superior officer, to whom we had to explain matters in greater depth, why we were doing it and what we would do with our conclusions. Permission was granted,” states the researcher.
He later explained that “the soldiers themselves led us to the impression, located in the remotest area of the base, which covers six blocks. We started by looking at the imprint and other facilities, such as sheds, the water tank, trees, wires and the cistern, which supplies water and has a depth of 15 meters and a diameter of 2.5 meters.”
The first clue emerges here. According to the story that Sgt. Carlos Villano told the researchers, “the cistern was practically drained the night of the event.” The officer also stated that the morning following the event, the principal of the primary school that operates on the base’s premises called him to report a lack of water in the school’s rest rooms. “I was sent to the cistern to see what was going on, thinking that the fuses had blown, but they were fine,” said the officer. At the same time, he found that the cistern and tank were both out of water, while noticing the circular impression for the first time.
Another witness was Claudio Chena, the water basin’s custodian, who was 25 at the time. “He said that he was a professional photographer and showed us pictures taken of the event. He also explained that he was playing soccer with his cousin in the base’s soccer pitch, which is in the front of the base, facing Avenida Freyre,” comments Brussa.
“Claudio said that after 9:00 p.m., they saw a bright light toward the water tank, and that the lights went out throughout the district, but not the street lamps, which remained on. They paid little mind to the situation, thinking the lights were from a truck driving along Calle San José, behind the district,” states Brussa in his account.
The researchers canvassed the base’s neighbors, and came across Marta. “This woman said that on that evening, they were watching TV with the family and suddenly became aware of a persistent, even buzzing sound, a sensation similar to that of an earthquake, which Marta had felt in Córdoba, and she compared it as being alike. She stated that the TV set and the household lights experienced at least two brownouts, although power was not entirely lost,” says Brussa.
Another key witness was Aidé, who already knew of the imprint. Aidé is Colombian and is married to a renowned rural doctor. Her son is an architect. On the night of the event, she was standing in the doorway facing Calle Salta around 8:45 p.m. when she saw “a light having a circular shape, with a luminosity similar to that of a fluorescent bulb, and it flew at low speed.
The treetops concealed it. It didn’t give off sparks or lights, smoke or any wake at all. It didn’t change shape, nor did it blink or explode, or even accelerate. It just moved on a fixed course, maintaining its brilliant light and shape.”
“She only saw a single object, which in her estimation, was between 30 and 40 meters wide and at a distance of some 150 to 200 meters. She added that at that time se felt a sense of tranquility and total silence during the approximately 12 second duration of the event,” states Brussa’s report.
Characteristics of the Imprint Found at the Base
Shape: Circular. Measurement: 5.30 meters: Interior: 1.2 meters. Characteristics: the inner print was not perfect. The external print presented a shape with hexagonal edges, not very defined, toward the south. Organic vegetable matter: grass. Size: 3 to 4 cm. tall.
Color: Natural green at the center of the print; dark brown within the print itself. The virgin soil surrounding the grass was similar to that at the center of the print, natural green and regular height.
Complementary Data: The print was seven meters distant from the water tank. Ten meters away on the left is a shed containing two water cisterns which provide water to the tank. Water comes from the street network and fills both cisterns.
An electrical pump sends water to the high concrete tank. Water was missing from the cisterns the day after the event. They [the cisterns] have a diameter of 2.5 meters and a depth of 15 meters. The cistern panel connected to the electric pump did not short-circuit. NOTE: The above image is CGI
Southwestern Illinois, January 5, 2000, about 4:00 a.m.
Anyone who has been in Illinois in January knows that when the sun goes down, it gets cold… real cold. The night of January 5, 2000, was no exception. Everyone who could was staying warm inside, but all did not have this luxury.
Melvin Knoll’s livelihood was his miniature golf course, and worried that something may have frozen there, he braved the cold night to make sure everything was OK.
When he arrived at his business, he noticed what he thought was a very bright star on the northeastern horizon.
He thought nothing of it at the time, and finished checking out the golf course. After satisfying himself that all was well, he jumped back into his warm truck to head home. As he did, he could not help but notice that the light was still there, and even more visible than before.
He watched it for a moment, and it suddenly seemed to be coming straight toward him! As it came nearer, he could see red lights shining
toward the ground.
As it came even closer, the object appeared to be as tall as a two-story building, and as long as a football field. He could now clearly see windows, and a brightly lit inside.
He could not hear a sound from the unknown object as it continued to slowly make its way through the chilly night in a southwesterly direction.
Fearing that he would be laughed at if he could not provide corroboration, he quickly made his way to the local police in Highland. He related his story to the dispatcher, and she agreed to pass the information to the next town in the object’s path, which was Central Communications in St. Clair County.
They in turn relayed the report to the Lebanon police department. At approximately 4:10 AM, a Lebanon police officer, hearing the radio report, spotted a bright object, which seemed to be suspended in the sky.
He could clearly make out two lights, very close to one
The policeman, with lights flashing, raced to the southeast, hoping for a better vantage point to view the strange sight. He watched the unknown object as he drove, and after a few moments, noticed that the two lights had merged into one.
The object seemed to be changing course, and moving directly toward him.
At this point, he stopped his patrol car, and rolled his window down. To his amazement, he could very clearly see a triangular-shaped UFO pass over him, at an altitude of 1,000 to 1,500 feet.
Then, the UFO quickly changed its course, moving in a westerly direction.
This sighting was corroborated by a policeman from Shiloh, who described the object as being shaped like a black arrowhead. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
One of the most intriguing UFO incidents of early 1964 actually occurred a week prior to the Oberwesel case, in the Le Bourget region of Paris in France in the early hours of the 1st March. The French Air Force pilot was returning back to base at around 2:30 am following a routine night patrol mission when he witnessed a strange “weak gleam of short duration” ahead and below him.
As the pilot looked at the scene more closely, he could make out five silhouettes moving about below, seemingly coming back and forth from a landed “machine” on the ground below. The object appeared to be round, at least the part that was lit up and was visible to the pilot above. The silhouettes, who the pilot surmised were the occupants of the craft, appeared to concentrate on the area around the craft.
As he continued to watch, the glowing light suddenly went out. A few moments later, the object began to rise off the ground, hovering in the air for several moments. The pilot could see the underside was flatter than the oval-shaped topside of the craft that until a few seconds ago had been glowing warmly.
Then, without making a sound or displaying any form of obvious propulsion, the object shot directly upward into the air at, speed and disappeared into the black sky.
Upon examining the area where he had first seen the object the following morning, the pilot discovered discolored parts of grass and vegetation. Despite this, though, the pilot would keep the incident to himself.
We should note, in fact, this account arrives in the public arena via one of the many “report a UFO” websites available, and was reported anonymously in this manner, to a French website in 2007. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
On Thursday Nov. 14th 2019 @ approximately 7:50pm 3 witness’s identified a Triangular Unknown Craft Hovering 400ft above Putney Rd and the Retreat Meadows in Brattleboro Vt. The sighting lasted approximately 4 mins and the craft changed shaped from a diamond shape to an equilateral triangle, there was a slight buzz in the air and the feeling of a static charge building up in the surrounding as it flew over. The craft proceeded to hover for a min then proceed to slowly move in a south easterly direction till it went out of sight.
Was much too large and slow to be a conventional plane. The sky was clear during the sighting, mins after an overcast covered the sky. You could see the shape of the craft between the lights, so it wasn’t drones either. Was truly a Very exciting Spectacle to witness. Sadly the event happened so suddenly we couldn’t go to the phone,
This case is under investigation by Ken Pfeifer State Director for MUFON.
Excited by the mystery of a famous video
captured in Turkey over a decade ago, some citizens over the internet processed
it through a stabilization tool, revealing strange images that could bewilder
even seasoned ufologists.
The enigma started back when a Turkish night
guard Yalcin Yalman began recording a video of bright, crescent-shaped objects that
appeared and regularly hovered over the Marmara Sea close to the resort village
of Kumburgaz in 2008.
His pastime made him famous as a UFO
spotter, and his videos immediately went viral because of their authenticity
confirmed by several experts and witnesses who saw similar objects at the time
The device Yalman used was not impressive
at all because the original videos were very shaky. When zoomed in or out, the
quality and definition of the unstabilized recording dropped significantly. It
led some skeptics to suggest the UFO was an American stealth drone or other
The Kumburgaz videos were stabilized many times, including the last one surfacing online just this week. YouTube channel Unidentified Aerial Phenomena made it available on the video-sharing site. Adobe Premiere video editing tool was used for video stabilization to try solving the mystery of the greenish dots in the center of the lit-up crescent.
American West Flight 564 had left Temper in Florida on its way to Las Vegas in Nevada on the 25th May in what was an uneventful and standard take-off and cross-country flight. However, at around 9:20 pm as Captain Eugene Tollefson guided the commercial airliner over Bovina, Texas at an altitude of 39,000 feet, the evening was about to take a drastic turn.
It was First Officer John J. Waller who first noticed a strange row of lights in the near vicinity. He would stand slightly in his seat in order to get a better view, prompting the rest of the crew in the cockpit to look out into the night sky also. As they did so, they would witness a “row of bright white lights” seemingly part of a solid object.
When a sudden flash of lightning lit up the clouds, the crew could clearly make out the distinct outline of a cigar-shaped object. They would estimate the object, of which it was also clear the row of lights were a part of, was around 300-to-400 feet long.
All amazed by what they were seeing but professional in the calm, the crew continued to watch and monitor the object. As they did Tollefson reached for the radio to contact the control tower at Albuquerque in New Mexico. He would inform them of the object while also stating that although they could see the anomaly, their radars were not picking up the craft. Tollefson would describe the flashing lights as:
…There is a strobe on it and it starts from going counterclockwise. And the length is unbelievable!
Albuquerque control tower, however, maintained that they had no detection of the apparent anomalous craft.
Perhaps one of the most interesting details of the conversation between the control tower in Albuquerque and the pilots was the initial response from the tower regarding the location of the flashing lights. The tower would respond:
That is a restricted area that is used by the military out there during the daytime!
Tollefson would state a short time later in the conversation that despite 15 years’ experience flying such planes this was the first time he had ever witnessed anything so bizarre. He would also add that “it’s probably military in that restricted area”.
It was also around this point in the timeline of events that the control tower would contact Cannon Air Force Base in nearby Clovis. Following a quick conversation between the control tower and the military base, the crew onboard Flight 564 were informed that no other traffic was in their vicinity and that “nobody up front knows any idea about that”.
However, in the minutes following this, a mystery voice appears in the conversation. It is possible this is the pilot of the plane that was already on routine patrols in the area. But as is highlighted in the NICAP report on the incident, it is “never clear just what type of aircraft this is”. Or who the mystery person might be. It is clear, however, as the report also notes, that “the individual clearly overheard the recent discussion”.
What is interesting, though, is the response following the control tower informing the individual that the pilot (Tollefson) had witnessed a “large object with a strobe”. To this, this mystery pilot would state:
Ah…the secret stuff!
Whether extraterrestrial or top-secret military, at least some high-ranking people appeared very much in-the-know.
As the commercial airliner continued on its course, the strange object appeared to fall behind them. This caused Tollefson to inform the mystery pilot, as well as another plane that enters the conversation – later identified as Hawk 85 – that they should be able to see them very shortly.
The control tower would inform the Hawk 85 to “be looking off your right side” for anything strange or unidentified. He would inform him of the estimated altitude and that the object was long, cigar-shaped and with a strobe along the side. Perhaps interestingly the pilot responded that he is “…searching for ET”.
While this is most likely a loose jargon term, it is certainly something that many UFO researchers and enthusiasts picked up on. Is it nothing to be concerned about? Or is the use of the phrase “ET” a slip of the tongue?
Whatever the answer to those questions might be, the object would disappear from sight shortly after. Whether it simply became lost in the crowd or whether it vacated the area at speed is unknown.
As would come to light during the subsequent investigation into the sighting – both official and independent – the actions of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) would come under scrutiny from some corners. And what’s more, those actions would prove to be suspicious at best.
NORAD – First They Did, Then They Didn’t!
There were also several confusing statements from NORAD in the initial aftermath to the incident. For example, on the night in question, the Albuquerque control tower would contact NORAD. They would enquire if they had any further information regarding the strange craft the American Airlines aircraft had reported.
The initial response was that they were indeed tracking an unknown object. And it was in the same region as that reported by the commercial airliner. What’s more, upon communication with NORAD the following day, they would confirm the tracking of the unknown object. And offer that it was stationary to begin with before great bursts of speed around a blistering 1,000 to 1,400 miles per hour, in several stop-start motions.
However, in the weeks and months that would follow the incident, particularly as independent investigations began to take place and the incident became public knowledge, NORAD would, at first, claim the object was nothing but a “small plane”, and then simply deny tracking an anomalous craft altogether.
Ultimately, their public U-turn on tracking the bizarre craft, one that moved in excess of 1,000 miles per hour no less, would make more people suspicious than not that the organization was not being entirely truthful in the public light. Essentially, their complete turn on the events of 25th May would appear to have lent the incident even more credibility than it already had.
No Evidence To Suggest Military Involvement!
One of the leading investigators of the Flight 564 sighting was Walter Webb. He would not only examine the reports and conduct extensive interviews but would also set about filing several Freedom of Information Acts. All in an effort to unveil any out of the ordinary incidents on the night in question.
Ultimately, though, no evidence to suggest any military vehicles – secret or otherwise – were in the vicinity on the evening of 25th May 1995. Nor were there any records or any outside aircraft in the area, meaning that whatever the strange object was, it would appear the military – a NORAD – were as blindsided by the sudden aerial anomaly as the crew of Flight 564. Perhaps this explains the initial, and from their perspective regrettable response in the original communications between themselves and the control tower in Albuquerque. With this last point in mind, then, perhaps it is worth examining quickly another incident. One that occurred just off the coast of Florida. In the area better known as the Bermuda Triangle on board the USS Independence in June 1973. While there may or may not be a connection, the fact the incident unfolded only six months before the Braden River incident at a location only a (relative) stone’s throw away, over water, no less, is certainly worth us including it here.
The incident took place in the early hours one morning, at around 1 am. The main witness was an anonymous refueling technician. He was on the ship’s deck when he noticed a “very bright light” coming from underneath the water. According to the witness, this mystery object was gigantic. He would make a comparison to a paperclip held in a hand. With it being the ship and the hand being the strange craft.
He continued to watch the craft it moved out in front of the ship. The light glowing and lighting up the water as it did so. Then, it emerged from the water and into the air. As it did so, the witness and the others who had since come out on deck to watch the extraordinary events were almost blinded by the intensity and brightness of the light.
Then, in a moment, literally a fraction of a second, it was gone. It simply vanished at an unthinkable pace. So large was the object that the witness would describe feeling disorientated and confused by its mere presence.
Check out the video below. It looks at the USS Independence incident a little further. An interesting incident in its own right. And one that might have a connection to the Braden River sighting….NOTE: The above image is CGI.
Perhaps also of interest and worth mentioning here are the sightings involving the USS Tacoma and the USS Welch. These would unfold in the early hours of 17th February off the coast of New Orleans during Mardi Gras season. On this particular morning, at around 4 am, a “strange light” suddenly approached the two ships’ positions out of the west.
The lights, white at first, would change to an amber glow as it moved along the sky. Then, it simply disappeared as though it had gone out. Not only is the changing of the colored glow of these strange aerial objects, seemingly in sympathy with its motion something that is seen in many other UFO reports, the perception that rather than vanishing into the distance the object simply “went out” is one that also comes up more than we might think.
The American South Has A Long History Of Strange Goings-On
Whatever was hovering and “zipping” through the skies over Mississippi, and its southern neighbor, Louisiana, throughout the opening weeks of 1977, multiple people were witness to the events. That something strange was overhead during this time, then, is as good as established fact. What that “something” might have been, however, like many other cases, is a mystery within a mystery.
As are, of course, most of the sightings across the United States and around the world. Very distinct UFO waves and patterns have already been well-established and investigated over the years. One can’t help but feel the more sightings face examination, though, however trivial and pedestrian some of them may be, will exhibit eventual overriding patterns of behavior and ultimately, clues to the UFO and alien question will emerge.
We might take note, for example, that both Mississippi and Louisiana revolve around significant bodies of water. A location detail that surfaces more than most might suspect. Furthermore, both states have a rich history of strange happenings. And even longer histories of legends from the indigenous peoples of the area dating back thousands of years.
In fact, the American South, in general, including other states such as Arkansas and Alabama – which will no doubt be the subjects of future examinations, is full of stories of mysterious goings-on. No doubt, as we move closer to fully understanding these strange aerial crafts and the apparent intelligence behind them, these mysteries will clear somewhat also. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
One of the most intriguing encounters during the summer of 1950, took place in Dardennes in Var, France on 3rd August. 3-year-old “Lily F” would go missing while playing in a field right next to her parent’s home. However, she wouldn’t return home and her frantic parents began searching the area. They were doing so for over 2 hours and much to their despair they couldn’t find her.
However, she was soon discovered near a small ravine, unharmed and not at all scared. She would go on to tell her parents that she was looked after by a “beautiful lady” who had on a “brilliant white costume”. While some would put such a description down to an angel-type entity. However, such a description might also fit with an extraterrestrial occupant.
Incidentally, this case has all the hallmarks of the Missing 411 type of disappearance cases, some of which reappear in much the same circumstances as Lily F did. Was this a case of alien intervention? Or was it one of the missing person’s cases as recorded by David Paulides? Or might, in a bizarre way, it be partly both of those things? We will examine the Missing 411 mysteries in a future case study article.
At around 10 am on the morning of 4th August the MARCALA ship, featuring an international crew, was on its way from Walton in Nova Scotia heading to a United States Naval port on the northeast coast of America. As the witness and several of the other on-duty personnel were going about their duties, a cry came out claiming that an object was flying straight toward them.
When the crew focused their attention on the approaching craft, they could see it was flying at an altitude of around 50 to 100 feet above the surface of the water. Rates of speed varied from the crew, with some claiming the object moved around 250 miles per hour while others put the pace closer to 500 miles per hour.
When the cylindrical shaped object was within around 1,000 feet of the ship it would suddenly change course and quickly vanish over the horizon. What further amazed the witnesses was the complete lack of noise from this shining, silver-colored craft.
What perhaps made this incident even more interesting is the interest the United States intelligence services took in it. They would interview all of those on deck at the time of the sighting, including the three main witnesses. They would determine that “despite the discrepancies, it was quite evident to the Intelligence Officers” that the three men were certain of what they had seen. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
