Hi Ken : It was new years eve and the sky was clear and the weather was fair, so I immediately grabbed my coat and quickly put on my shoes, picked up my camera, and then went straight outside into the back garden to sky-watch, even though it was freezing cold. I sat down in my garden chair and looked around the sky for anything out of the ordinary. It really wasn’t long before my attention was swiftly drawn toward something moving around in the sky directly off to the east. Whatever the object was, it was very far away from my position, so I zoomed in on that particular area of the sky with my Nikon P900 camera, only to see that it was in fact a saucer-shaped craft with a yellow light on a raised section which I surmise was probably the front portion of the craft. It was slowly rotating, and I thought to myself whoever was on board must be feeling rather dizzy as it slowly moved up diagonally into the sky.
I quickly took a photograph before it then went into warp speed and immediately shot up into the sky leaving me in complete awe of what I had just witnessed. I see these objects all year round in this area and I’m rather surprised that more people don’t report them because they are always ever present within this vicinity. This was a remarkable sighting and I really wonder what this alien saucer was doing high above the town. The photograph was taken at 2:03 PM on the 31st of December 2022, at Newton Abbot Devon England. All the best John.
