JULY 4, 2009 …………………..BLOOMINGTON TEXAS
After the Victoria City fireworks display, my grandparents made the (about) 20 minute trip along Highway 185 to their home in nearby Bloomington, TX. As they were entering Bloomington, they both saw a small, egg shaped object moving about 10-15MPH around 100 feet in the air. “The whole object was a light,” it was about 5 ft tall and 2 ft wide, it made no noise, and it had no wings, strings, blades, or clear source of propulsion. Then, about a quarter mile down the road (they were still driving), they saw the second one. It had the same characteristics as the first one, traveled at the same speed, same height, and same path (along Highway 185). Finally, another quarter mile down the road they saw the third (and final) one. They stopped to get out of their truck and got a clear view of the object (even better than the previous two). With their eyes fixed on the object (and adjusted to the light), they saw that it was unblemished (no ribbed rings, scratches, tubes, landing gear), and that it was clear. “Like a clear thick plastic.” Most notably, they say that they saw a figure inside of the third object. To them, it looked like a person sitting down. They stayed for a little bit after the third one passed but they did not see another object follow. Overall they saw all three objects for a total of about 5 minutes. They saw the last one for nearly three minutes. The next day my grandfather called around the city to see if anybody had called about seeing something similar. He knows for sure that he called the Victoria Sheriff’s Department and “some nearby federal office.” However, he is unsure which federal office he called. He said he may have called the Air Force.
