I was 13 years old, living in a small town called Patos de Minas in Minas Gerais, Brazil at the time. I slept in the same bedroom as my mom, but she was not at home that night, so after dinner, I watched some TV and went to bed. That was a hot night, so I left the window open to get some air. I didn’t remember very well what time was it but it was before 9 PM when I got to bed. I fell asleep after some minutes. I woke up with a brighter light than usual in my room, the light was coming from the window, but it was much brighter than it should be because the window of our bedroom was not faced to the street. I remember that I had some issues opening my eyes because of the light. When I was able to finally see better, I saw three entities in my window. When I realized that I was totally terrified, but also I was not able to move, maybe because of fear. I first thought that it could be someone trying to get into the house to steal something, but when I focused on the beings, they were not human. They had big heads, the skin was in some shades of gray, the eyes were large and black, the mouths were small and I saw no nose or ears.
They were staring at me, and sometimes they would look at each other. I didn’t hear anything, so if they were communicating between them it could be they were talking very low or with their minds. I don’t know how much time passed, I just know that after a while I was able to turn my face away from the window and just kept staring at the wall waiting for that to pass, but the bright light was covering the whole room and I was really scared. I remember turning my face to the window two or three times and the entities were still there. After that, I just remember waking up the next morning. But the weird part is that I didn’t remember anything about that for quite a while. The memory seems to be repressed by my mind for years. I was just able to fully recover the whole experience when I was 17 years old and I didn’t tell this to anyone for 10 years afraid that people say that it was just a dream or that I was crazy. Although I didn’t remember the experience, after that I was never able to go to sleep with the windows or doors open again. My mom asked me many times why I started to sleep with the bedroom windows and door closed and I was not able to explain, just said that I was not feeling comfortable sleeping with them open. I am 30 almost 31 years old today and I still can’t sleep in a room with the windows or door open. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
The case was first reported to Peter Davenport of the National UFO Reporting Center. Peter and WA MUFON Director of Investigations have now interviewed three witnesses. I contacted Robert A. Fairfax and asked if he had some more details on the elk abduction by a UFO on February 25, 1999. Fairfax writes, “We are currently arranging interviews with more witnesses.” Filer asked, “I’m particularly interested in the description of the craft itself? Fairfax answered, “So am I; this is one of the areas we will try to nail. So many people just have the hardest time describing or drawing what they have seen. There were two flashes described as the craft wobbled. A fluorescent magenta (top) and a white (bottom). These were apparently not lights but seemed to be areas on the surface. These were seen intermittently but again we will need to pin the details down along with many others.” Filer, “What was the direction of flight and the last known direction of travel.” Fairfax answered, “It was first seen in the SE traveling toward the NNW. It departed slowly to the NE, and then made near vertical ascent into cloud cover.” Filer asked, “Was there any insignia on the craft?”
Fairfax responded that none was reported. Filer asks: “Did they notice any kind of a plasma, lighting, or electrical effects around the craft?” Fairfax answered, “Possibly, the two bright color areas. The craft seemed in increase in size as it was capturing the elk. We’re trying to clarify that.” Filer asked, Did the craft tilt as it changed direction? Fairfax stated, “Wobbling was reported that was more pronounced before direction changes, but we need to verify with more witnesses.” Filer asked, “Did they notice a hum or whine sound?” Fairfax indicated, “There was no sound.” I suggested,” The sound would likely occur as the craft attempted to climb with the elk.” Fairfax felt that distance may have to be factored in for low sound level. I suggested that, “The wobbling infers the craft did not have a particularly powerful propulsion system and may not be an interplanetary craft.” Fairfax responds, “Probably, but larger craft have been reported wobbling in a similar manner.
It may have to do with shape/size and function — probably does — but this is surmise.” Filer, “Did you notice the height of the trees or the approximate height and distance from picking up the elk to the top the trees?” Fairfax, “Yes, but no precise calculations have been done. It had plenty of room to maneuver and climb, see illustration on NUFORC site of UFO path.” Filer, “Of course its possible the craft had plenty of power, but that it was flown too close to the trees” Fairfax: “This may have been an “unmanned” (unaliened?) remote that had less smarts.” Filer, “Did they notice any windows?” Fairfax, “There were no windows.” I asked, “Is it possible the craft came from a base some where in the vicinity and have there been other sightings?” Fairfax responded, “Anything is possible, however this is a remote area and so far we have not uncovered further reports of activity in this vicinity.” Filer stated, “Many witnesses describe UFOs entering and leaving mountainous terrain in Northern California. I have read similar reports in the St. Helen’s area.” Fairfax responds, “Yes, we have reports from the general Mt. St. Helen’s area. Remember, a large mountain and surroundings covers quite a bit of territory.
(Due to constraints by the company, we are not to release the exact coordinates and location of the incident.) I would suspect an area north of me — Granite Falls area — as a base site. There are reports of all kinds — from Indian legends to present. No specific activity that would indicate a base in either case.” Filer asks, “I have also noticed a silvery powder, possibly sand or glass like near the bodies of some dead animals. Did you happen to notice any white or silvery powder when you found the elk on the ground?” Fairfax said, “None was seen.” Filer, “Do you know if the elk had its blood drained or heated to a powdery form?” Fairfax responds, “We were not able (because of imposed constraints which I cannot go into) to cut into and examine the insides of the elk. There were no exterior signs of mutilation; no black light fluorescence found on hair samples. The only possible indicator was the fact that the elk had been lying there in the open for 5 days and there was no predation or scavenging. Also, the dog ticks had not left the body nor did they show movement when touched — we presumed they were dead also. We have been told that when an animal dies, the ticks leave the ‘sinking ship.’ Thanks to Bob Fairfax for this e-mail interview and Peter Davenport for the original report. Editors Note: Apparently, the abduction of a thousand pound elk occurred on a large piece of privately owned land. The company wants the exact location, and their name kept confidential.
FORT BRAGG – A few years ago, while a member of the 82nd Airborne Division, I was on a routine paratroop drop with 55 other troops. After the jump, we assembled and saw a strange object in the sky. It was cylindrical in shape with steady lights running the length, that may have been windows? The UFO had no visible wing structures or means of propulsion. We could hear a low hum. The next morning several individuals from the four towns surrounding Ft. Bragg called the local radio station to report seeing the same craft. Pope Air Force Base was called but denied any craft resembling a cylinder was being flown from there. This was obvious to us. We were trained in aircraft recognition and had never seen anything that came even close to looking like a huge paper towel tube. It did look similar to the craft in the Star Trek movie that had the whales in it. I wonder if there is any other record of individuals reporting this or any similar sighting. Editors Note: The Flying Cigars are being reported and photographed from New York to Georgia several times a month. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
UFO sightings often come in bunches, like southeast Michigan in 1966. After a few days of sighting reports by civilians, on March 17 two Washtenaw County Sheriff’s deputies, Sgt. Neil Schneider and Deputy David Fitzpatrick, said they saw three or four red, white and green circular objects oscillating and glowing near Milan about 4 a.m. They called Willow Run Airport officials, but radar could not confirm the report. Two more Washtenaw deputies, Buford Bushroe and John Foster, chased the same types of objects three days later. Livingston and Monroe County residents also reported seeing the objects. The Detroit News carried the police chase story and a drawing of a quilted football-like UFO with lights, dome and antennae. When Dexter Patrolman Robert Huniwell saw the object at 9:30 p.m. at Quigly and Brand, Washtenaw County Sheriff Douglas Harvey ordered all available deputies to the scene. Six patrol cars, two men in each, and three detectives converged on the area. They chased the flying object along Island Lake Road without catching it.
Farm owner Frank Mannor and his family said they came within 500 yards, “It wasn’t like the pictures of a flying saucer and it had a coral-like surface,” Mannor said. Carloads of students from nearby University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan converged on the area after hearing radio reports. The Air Force sent in “Project Blue Book” astronomer and UFO expert J. Allen Hynek, who drove around for two hours and 45 minutes. “Swamp gas” he concluded. “Marsh gas usually has no smell, but sounds like the small popping explosions similar to a gas burner igniting. The gas forms from decomposition of vegetation. It seems likely that as the present spring thaws came, the gases methane, hydrogen sulfide and phosphine, resulting from decomposition of organic materials, were released.” But William Van Horn, a local civil defense director and pilot who claimed he had seen the UFOs, was outraged by the report. A Hillsdale native, Van Horn said he grew up next to a swamp and knew more about swamp gas than Hynek. “A lot of good people are being ridiculed,” Van Horn concluded. Each day, Michigan at the Millenium takes a look at the people, events and ideas that have shaped our world. NOTE: The above image is real but from a San Diego case file. At the time, Allen Hynek was supposed to debunk all UFO sightings for Project Blue Book. He finally became a believer after many sightings researched proving to be possible alien craft.
Hi Ken: It was a warm sunny day and I was at the Teign Estuary photographing the area for any further anomalies while soaking up the sun when suddenly I heard a helicopter. I looked across the Estuary where I saw the red Devon air ambulance helicopter, so I immediately zoomed in with my Nikon P900 camera and started to take photographs. While in the process of doing so, a translucent anomalous sphere object flew directly under the helicopter’s skids. I managed to capture the sphere object in a single photograph just before it flew off and disappeared from sight. The Air ambulance had been very far away from my location right across the other side of the Estuary and when I took the photograph, I could see heat haze and some distortion, but the translucent anomalous sphere object could still be seen directly underneath the air ambulance. As I have stated many times in previous reports, I always see these objects near aircraft, no matter where I am in Devon. The photograph was taken at 5:49 PM on the 16th of June 2023, at the Teign Estuary Devon England. All the best John.
On the morning of 9/13/23 just after 3 A.M upon returning home from work I walked in the house and set down my lunchbox and emptied my pockets before heading back to the porch to fill up the cat bowls and immediately noticed the brightest light I’ve ever seen in a cow field right behind my house. After looking for a second I thought I have to get a picture this is strange and ran back inside to grab my phone. I was able to capture one photo of the craft and as I switched over to video mode it dissipated and left no trace right in front of me. This incident shook me up and has left me confused as to the origin of this orb of light. There was absolutely no sound and there were no people in that field and I don’t have a logical explanation for this sighting. This area has had many sightings and I have seen these Flying Orbs that look like stars myself several times but never this low and this close.
UFO watchers are keeping their eyes glued to the skies after a string of strange sightings in the North East. Bright orange balls, some apparently flying in formation, have been spotted in parts of Co Durham. Similar objects have been recorded in other parts of the country, but UFO experts believe the major activity has been centred over North Durham. One woman driving her car on Crookgate Bank, between Newcastle and Consett, watched a large oval-shaped object in the clouds for around 20 seconds. In a detailed report to a UFO information centre in Leeds, run by co-ordinator Andrew Ellis, she said it was bright orange and yellow. The woman, who did not want to be named, said the object seemed to hover above trees and then moved behind them. As she went to get a better view the object began to move. Mr Ellis said: “She feels that what she was viewing was the bottom of the object and the top was obscured in the clouds. It vanished within seconds up into the clouds.”
Another report in the same area recorded two or three orange balls flying in formation. The first sighting was logged on February 18 at 10.30pm. Mr Ellis said: “From the contacts we have across the country, sightings of these orange balls are coming in thick and fast. “We have had several reports from the Consett and Stanley areas. One was of four balls coming together in a formation and disappearing.” He is keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed such phenomena in recent weeks. “I don’t know what it could be but there are reports dating back to the Second World War about aircraft and being followed by strange orange balls. We need a photograph or even video footage.” Prof Roger Davies, professor of Astronomy at Durham University and an experienced observer, said: “I have seen some quite remarkable natural phenomena. You would be surprised at the bangs and flashes and fireballs. “But I have not seen something that would fit a description of an orange ball. It’s not out of the question that it’s a natural phenomenon but if there is some kind of co-ordinated movement that’s harder to explain.” NOTE: The above image is real but from another case file.
An unidentified flying object sighted in the Angus skies near Carnoustie this morning has left a number of people mystified. One Carnoustie resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, said he had been fairly sceptical about such things, but wanted an explanation for what he saw. He and several members of his family, along with a Forfar couple, saw a strange red disc moving about the sky between 6.30am and 6.55am this morning. Neither the Coastguard nor members of staff at RAF Leuchars could shed any light on the sighting. The man said that the object, which moved about the sky, was “like nothing I’ve ever seen before except on the film Armageddon”. “I was out walking the dog with my wife and child near the black slab car park this morning,” he said. “We saw this red oblong shape in the sky, and it couldn’t have been the moon or the sun because of the way it was moving. It then just disappeared.
“A car drew up and the man inside asked us if we’d seen it and we said yes. “Distressed” “The man in the car said he was from Forfar and had seen the light earlier, and we could see he was visibly distressed.” The family continued their walk along the beach and the object reappeared at about 6.55am. “I’m neither a believer nor a non-believer in UFOs, but this time it had changed from bright red to orange, and it was much bigger,” he continued. “Anybody looking at the sky would have seen it – it was that big you couldn’t miss it.” A member of the Fife Coastguard said there had been no reports of flares or other lights. “It’s been fairly misty this morning, and there is no meteorite activity as far as I know,” he said. A spokesman at RAF Leuchars discounted any official aerial activity by personnel from the Fife airbase. “I know of no operations in the area by any of our flights,” he said. So it seems the strange red object will have to remain a mystery for the time being. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
(10:30 pm) Aliza, Sasha and Jennifer were leaving McDonalds, at 152nd Street and 18th Avenue in White Rock, when Sasha spotted a “HUGE” boomerang-shaped object slowly approaching at a very low level. They stopped the car and got out to gaze at it as it passed silently overhead. It had 6-8 broad beamed “headlights” flashing on and off, but not sequentially. The lights were red, green and white. Aliza said it looked like an “image” in the clear night sky. After 7-8 seconds, the object disappeared from view in an instant!?!? All three young women were strongly affected by what they saw; Sasha was crying; Jennifer shook for the next hour; and Aliza was in a state of shock and slept that night with the lights on. NOTE: The above image is real but from another case file.
A round platinum-like object flying at 7:30 PM on February 3, 1999. The UFO was flying just above the houses at approximately 30 mph. It had a dome with a bright flashing light on top. A rim extended from the body and above the rim. There were smaller lights and the object was flat on the bottom. It flew with the front part tilted slightly higher that the back. The closest the object came to the witness was about 200 feet based on the width of the road. She felt the height of the abject was 90 feet or less based on the height of the tower at the Falls Shopping center, and the height of a red balloon tethered to an apartment complex. Dr. H. followed the object heading north in her car for about ten minutes. Although, her window was down she could hear no sound. The object appeared larger than a car. Upon returning home she summoned her son. From their upstairs window they saw a bright light moving slowly toward the north. Margaret Zimmer made an excellent drawing of the craft.
It appears to be similar to the type photographed over Gulf Breeze, Florida. Dr. H felt awe and elation at seeing the craft. She contacted the FAA, police, Channel 10 and 23 in Miami. The FAA suggested she call the National UFO Reporting Center and Good Year Blimp in Pompano. No blimps were flying that night. Thanks to Peter Davenport’s National UFO Reporting Center for his notification and to Margaret Zimmer. Editors Note: The witnesses seem of high quality and took responsible action to find an explanation for their sighting. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
I remember being awake late at night in bed, and I see my room fill with a very bright bluish-white light that left no shadows in the room. Then, these two, small, child-like beings just appear from nowhere and I feel a telepathic voice in my head say “come with us”. That’s when I felt “compelled” to get out of bed and go over to them. That’s when things get fuzzy and I found myself floating out through my window, up through the night sky, and into this large craft. I found myself in a large Hangar-type area, and was led around by these small metallic orb crafts, and then I got really scared and ran away down a long hallway where I found a large window. Outside this window I saw the blackness of space, and the earth below, and at that point I was terrified. I took off running and was grabbed by a tall, human-looking “man” that telepathically said ‘hey, you’re not supposed to be here”.
That’s when I was paralyzed and carried off to a room by these two small beings. In the room, there was a large mantis-like creature near a large science-y workstation. The two small beings laid me on the table/chair and the large insect thing came around behind me, and turned my head to the left. It then stuck a large needle into my neck, behind my ear, and that’s all I remember from that. The two smaller beings then un-paralyzed me, walked me from the table to an adjacent room, and gave me a small black box. They had me open the box, and it exploded with light, and I “downloaded” information in what felt like watching a thousand movies at once at the speed of light. The information also contained bits of what was shown as my previous life. After this, they walked me back down the hallway, into the hangar, and I was then back in my room. They laid me down in my bed, walked back to the window, turned around, and telepathically told me “We’ll be seeing you again soon” And that was it. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
First let me say that my husband & I are college-educated, professional people, both working for, (what was then) Bell Laboratories. We were sober, and quite alert – we had our 2 yr. old daughter wth us, coming home from visiting friends. The whole occurrence so astounded us, we called the Army, Navy, Air Force, police & a UFO Research facility in Illinois. We called the friends we had visited, we drew pictures of what we saw immediately upon entering our home. My husband thinks that what we encountered was possibly new, secret technology. After speaking with a number of research scientists and engineers at Ma Bell, I tend to agree with them: we haven’t yet cultivated or harnessed enough energy/magnetic power… But I jump ahead…My husband & I were travelling north on Rte. 206, heading home. It was a clear, starry August sky and I noticed a particularly bright, large, “star” in the sky straight ahead.
I pointed it out to him (he was driving). As I did, I noticed it was moving due west. It was an odd, yellowish color & stood out as being different from the stars & planets. We chalked it up as being an airplane – but I couldn’t stop checking it out. At the light in Chester, we turned left, heading west to our town, Long Valley, on Rte. 24. I lost sight of it with the trees. But as we approached the edge of the valley, there is a long hill going down into it. At this point, I saw it again, still out with the stars but bigger and moving faster, it seemed to go the speed of the car. As we reached the crest of the hill, it came TOWARDS us. The light got bigger & bigger, so big that my husband thought we were about to get hit, head-on. He swerved off to the side of the road. At this point, “the light” seemed to slow down, and we could see that it was tilting up above us and that it was actually 2 large circular lights – side-by-side. We jumped out of the car (curiously no one else was driving on the road, but with my 2 yr. old in the car seat, I didn’t want to leave the car).
My husband proceeded to walk (backwards)from the car down the middle of the road, staring up at this HUGE aircraft directly above us. It had a smooth, white surface, with blue, green & red rectangular lights along the perimeter of its underside. The lights dimmed as it hovered overhead. It was shaped like a stingray, with wide, rounded wings and a bobbed backend. It seemed as comfortable in the sky as a fish in water, like it was swimming. The “nose” (where the two big lights were) wasn’t white, but appeared to be glass. It was moving no faster than he was walking, so it “hovered” just above him. We were in awe – but spoke to each other the whole time. We discussed its parameters, using the aforementioned descriptions so we’d agree, outloud, of what we saw. We calculated that the nose could hold about 50-100 people. The wingspan was 3 football fields in length. It made a very low, quiet hum and seemed to be just above the trees. We agreed that we could throw a stone up and hit it.
(We didn’t, however, neither of us wanted to look away) It was mesmerizing in that it was travelling so low to the ground with no wind, and barely any sound. We decided to wave a friendly hello, figuring that whoever was IN it, was watching us too (we were feeling more comfortable: we reasoned that there were no markings on it, it was so amazingly advanced and quite simply, beautiful to watch. My husband didn’t appreciate my humor when I yelled “Beam us up, Scottie!” He was still tentative about being under the thing…) My daughter woke up in the car with my yell and said, “Mommy, whatcha doing?” “Watchin’ a spaceship”, I said, without diverting my eyes. We figured our conversation lasted about 3 minutes as this craft stayed above my husband – he was quite far from the car. We couldn’t calculate the width of it until this point: I noticed headlights in the corner of my eye, a car was coming. I yelled to my husband to get out of the road. He came running toward the car & this aircraft slowly turned to the south and then, in two blinks of an eye, took off. No sound, no wind.
Gone. A car came flying by, seemingly ablivious to what had happened. So, we drove home, checked the time, didn’t lose any. Drew pictures, discussed it, called our friends (who told us we left our camera at their house!) and they suggested we make the calls to any authorities. Needless to say, everyone laughed except the local police who said that Long Valley was a “high activity area” for that kind of thing. When I went to work, I told everybody! My husband didn’t tell a soul – after all, with working at Bell Labs, he reasoned, these people are the country’s top brains – they’ll think I’m nuts. Not me. I was SO amazed, I decided I had to find out anything I could on aircraft power. Three days later a group of research engineers came to my office because they’d overheard my story (through the grapevine). They took notes, asked questions and told me that the ONLY kind of power that could fly an aircraft that low, with no wind or sound would be through magnetic energy. To that date, in 1982, scientists had only been able to harness enough magnetic energy to fly a one-man hover craft, at 60 mph, about 100 miles max with NO capabilities for stopping on a dime and turning directions.
I’ve read some since then, regarding magnetic power, and Canadian scientists seem to be continuing research…they had hoped to sell one-man hover crafts by 1995!! Still don’t know what we saw – was it a government project? I asked these scientists. They shook their heads, chuckled and said THEY work on government projects and there’s just no way that kind of technology exists – yet. They said we were no way near figuring how to harness that amount of power – for that huge a craft. We were babes in the woods. What do you think? Know where I can read more on magnetic power? NOTE: The above image is CGI.
The main reason I am reaching out is to see if you can connect me to a regression psychotherapist, so that they can work with me to figure out if this was a real, repressed encounter with a grey with more details or just a dream. I saw in many UFO encounters from decades ago that many experiencers had this kind of support but I’m not sure how to get that support today in 2023. I believe this may have been a 2 part experience. Drugs were involved in the first event, and normally I would discount that and not say its related to the 2nd event of seeing the grey months later, the presence of the so-called Chinese weather balloon and the 3 UFOs shot down between February 4th – February 12th makes me think there may be some connection: ***FEB 4TH INCIDENT*** I am not a regular drug addict or user at all. I took what my wife bought, which I thought to be a CBD gummy, which turned out to be a high-dose THC gummy.
It started to give me a great sense of panic and chest pain and eventually I was taken to the hospital by an ambulance (privately funded company). The most important things to note during the ambulance ride and the hospital that may relate to the abduction is: -Strong disconnect from human beings, felt like I was connected to something higher -Sensation that this entire reality did not matter and that I almost passed on to the next world which is the more important and more real one, and I had an intense sensation of comfort and reassurance that everything will be okay (more than any of the human ambulance attendants could give me, they were cold and disconnected from me) -I had a “Delusion” that I was taken into a secret facility, not a hospital -For some reason I thought this facility was extremely opposed to China and I began to yell, “China’s gonna get you all!” -One of the EMTs said “China’s not gonna get us. We shot down their weather balloon today”.
This made me go completely quiet, because I did not know it was shot down that day until then, it must have just been posted on the news. That sums up my experience from that day on February 4th. I did not recall any encounter with a grey directly on that day, but due to the 3 UFOs shot down in the days following February 4th which the US has given no explanation about, I have a strong sense of intuition that this day is connected to my grey encounter somehow. **FEB 4th CONCLUSION*** For a solid week after this experience, I had this increased sense of connection and love for all my fellow human beings. However, any time a human got angry about something, it was like I could not understand it. I did not think they were being serious, I thought they were being pretend angry, because I just could not process how a human could be angry. Seeing them angry made me laugh as the most common reaction, particularly when engaging with people on the internet in online games where they commonly get quite angry.
My playstyle in online games became much more novel with people often saying, “What kind of strategy is that, you’re so weird dude”. So I think I have had some increase in creative/strategic thinking atypical of humans since they observe me to be different. The timing of this was incredible, because I felt like this was a gift given to me to help me deal with pet loss. On February 13th, I had to put down my dog which had a year-long battle with epilepsy which I tried intensely to treat him, but eventually the medicine that was fighting his seizures caused his liver to fail and I had to euthanize him. I think without this incident helping me, I would have been destroyed by my pet’s death. Instead, I got through it with great strength, comfort in knowing my dog was going to a good place after death, and a focused mind that did not think of the pain of loss but a focus on the good life I gave me dog that others may not have put in the effort to do for such a sick animal.
***JULY 23RD INCIDENT** I had a dream I saw a grey and it was terrifying. My initial impression that I journaled after I woke up was, “These things are pure evil, 100% pure evil. It had a tiny smile, very sinister like it was enjoying messing with me.” However, I later came to wonder if that was my own anxiety that twisted and made me fear the grey in this way and perceive its smile to be evil. I had severe chest pain that I actually woke up from and my chest still hurt 24 hours later. I do suffer from anxiety, and this is not a new experience as I have on occasion woken up from a nightmare with a burst of chest pain, but this was more intense than any other I’ve had from a nightmare. I did have a 2nd dream when I went back to sleep, where I was back living with my parents, and I told them about the alien dream. Then, my mother’s face “morphed into half-alien”. This frightened and disturbed me. It was almost as if this was a message from the grey, either it was just messing with me and scaring me, or it was saying, “This is what humans really are. Half-alien. Even your mother.” NOTE: The above image is CGI.
Hi Ken: I was at the Teign Estuary investigating the area once again. For some reason, there has been a lot of UFO activity within this vicinity of the Estuary just lately. On each visit, I have managed to capture something anomalous within this area. I was watching the sky above the Estuary when I spotted an anomalous object that appeared to be saucer-shaped. I immediately took a photograph of it while it was hovering at a slight tilt before it moved off to the right and I swiftly took another photograph. The second photograph shows the bottom of the craft and it appeared to have a rectangular hatch in the middle section of the craft. There was no sound and everything seemed to go quiet within the area until it was gone. These anomalous crafts are very hard to capture and the photographs do not do it justice.
I had looked at it briefly with binoculars and it was saucer-shaped with a very reflective dome on the top portion of the craft. There were no visible wings or propulsion which is a common observation when sighting these anomalous craft. This thing was very far away and very difficult to photograph, but fortunately, I managed to capture it within two photographs with my Nikon P900 camera before it flew up into the atmosphere and eventually disappeared from view. I capture these anomalous craft on a regular basis around this area where I have seen and captured them flying in and out of the water. The photographs were taken at 6:55 PM on the 6th of September 2023, at the Teign Estuary, Devon, England. All the best John.
On May 4th 2023 I was aboard an American Airlines flight that departed from Charlotte, NC on route to Los Angeles, CA. Approximately at 17:25MDT I observed 6-7 disc shaped glowing objects outside my cabin window traveling West within close proximity of our aircraft. The objects at first appeared in 3 rows stacked 2 per row. The top and bottom rows slightly trailed the middle row, as the objects traveled along side our aircraft they would slowly form a stagnated straight line. Our aircraft was traveling over the state of New Mexico near Taos with an air speed of roughly 490mph and a little over 30,000 feet above sea level.
These objects kept pace with our aircraft for the duration of the sighting and didn’t appear to ascend or descend at any point. When I first noticed the objects, the lights coming from them appeared a bright yellowish orange color with a flame like appearance. The light source coming from the objects seemed to pulsate at a steady interval, when the light source would dim at times, I could make out a reflective silver rim on 2 of the objects. The rim came to a point on both ends of each object, they appeared to be disc shaped or cylindrical in nature. After observing them with the naked eye, I began filming them at approximately 17:26MDT with my phone which records in 4K quality.
The objects appeared to have a yellowish white glow to them when viewed through the camera on my phone as opposed to the yellowish orange color when seen with the naked eye. After recording the objects for 1 minute and 22 seconds, I stopped recording and began to take photos. The objects began to shift as I took the photos, and they would eventually form a stagnated straight line with the 2 objects in the top row shifting to the front and the bottom 2 objects moving to the trailing position. These 6 objects would eventually enter a large cloud bank in which the light source coming from the objects were visible through the clouds. As they exited the cloud bank one by one still traveling West, they blinked off and disappear right in front of me. I didn’t see the objects ascend or descend after the lights turned off.
On Thursday, February 4, 1999, two witnesses driving south on Colorado Highway 17 just west of Crestone, Colo. (population 400) “observed a ‘brilliant orb of white light’ hovering around 200 feet off the ground and to the east of them. At one point during the 35-to-40 second sighting, one witness, a retired U.S. Air Force officer, said the object shot a beam of light at the ground, ‘like it was looking for a place to land.'” The next morning, Friday, February 5, 1999, the ex-USAF officer was outdoors at 7:45 a.m. and “observed a dark grey van with smoked windows and (light blue U.S.) government license plates” in Crestone. “He observed that the van had no other markings, which seemed odd.” Christopher O’Brien, author of The Mysterious Valley and the newly-published Enter the Valley encountered the mysterious grey van later the same day at the Baca Grande housing development. O’Brien stated that he “attempted to get an interview” with the van’s occupants.
They reportedly “claimed they were with the National Weather Service and declined to divulge why they were in the area. I counted eight people in this particular van. They were dressed in dress shirts and slacks and looked like scientists.” On Saturday, February 13, 1999, at 3:05 p.m., two witnesses north of Center, Colo. (population 1,963), located 235 miles (376 kilometers) southwest of Denver, spotted “an erratically-moving silver reflection that was visible three times–each time for several seconds. Object seemed to be below 2,000 feet in altitude and made many twisting turns. One witness described it as ‘a fishing lure in the sky.’ The second witness, who was able to focus a pair of binoculars on the object, described it as ‘kind of rectangular-looking but with no wings.'” NOTE: The above image is CGI.
In October of 1917, Francis McHouney of the 302nd Barrage Balloon squadron, US Army Air Corp, tracked and logged several dozen “spurious flying objects [that] were not Boche or one of our guys”. Their unit had Remington Acoustical trackers (large horns that amplified sound waves and were used well into the second World War) and the then top secret Marconi Wireless Aerial Direction Finder (a predecessor of radar). “Me and the boys had moved up and around the asembling [sic] area for our next big attack against the Boche. We had heard about the new land battleships that was going to win us the war. Our unit was to put up balloons to keep the Boche from flying over. We had detectors up and manned to give [us] warning if any enemy planes were coming so that the swabbies in the landships could get them under cover”. McHouney continues, “We had heard rumor’s about fantastic Boche aero planes that seemed to be watching anywhere the landships were.
That was why we were there, to keep them away. Our balloons were up, 4 at 500 feet, about 300 feet apart. Four up at 1000 feet further back in a second line and the final four at 1400 feet, by the book as Capt. Burns would say.” [Ed. the 301st and 303rd were also present, the three units deployed in a semicircle in front of the army assembly area.] “The first time [I] saw them, I was on leave which meant I could go to the rear trenches. Me and a couple of others went to look at the land ships but couldn’t get near them cause of the MPs. We could see ’em across in the field, all covered with branches to hide them. Only branches left for miles, must’ve hauled them up from way back in the rear. Scary looking things, all bristling with guns. Jed [Ed. Jed Wilson, boyhood friend of Mchouney, they joined up together] shouted and pointed up. There was something that looked like a giant mess plate [Ed. A mess plate was a tin plate that looks very similar to a modern pie pan, about 8″ in diameter used by US Army soldiers in WWI and WWII] just hanging over the field, directly above one of the landships.
Suddenly, it rose straight up, without making a sound until it faded into the clouds.” When McHouney arrived back to his unit, he found that the Marconis had registered something BEHIND them that just appeared and then disappeared. The Remington’s had detected nothing when hurriedly turned around and aimed backwards. Over the course of the next few days, the object appeared and disappeared every few hours, causing a disturbance each time. “We were ordered to close up the spacing of the balloons and move backwards, until after a week the balloons were almost touching. A daredevil could walk around the camp on the balloons if he wanted to. We let them up to 2500 feet and used up darn near all the cables on the front and would’ve gone higher if we could’ve got more” The objects continued to be sighted. McHouney continues “On the 23rd we received visitors, Mr Churchill, who invented the land ships [Ed. Churchill was responsible for pushing through the development of the tanks but others are credited with the invention] and a Mr Wells who was introduced as a scientific advisor to the Ministry, and some others.
They set up a couple of cameras, but rumors were all the pictures came out black, as if the plates were exposed to light accidently.” Later, “We were all questioned about what we had seen and the logbooks off the Remington’s and the Marconis were taken. They told us not to talk about this to anyone, but the Boche had a new super Zepplin, and we were seeing the observation car hanging down from it. We all accepted this but years later, I came to doubt it. What we saw was BIG and it would’ve taken a very big Zepplin to carry it.” [From “Boche and Balloons, My Experiences with The 302nd”, Francis McHouney, published 53/04/01 by Smythe Books, London, England] Curiously, no record of these incidents appears in official unit records of the US Army Air Corp and the last surviving member [Walter “Smitty” Smith, 301st] of the 301st, 302nd, and 303rd, died on April 1, 1968 of cancer in the Pembrooke VA Hospital in North Carolina. On Monday, February 8, 1999, businessman Miles J. was relaxing in his seat aboard a British Midlands A310 Airbus jetliner when he spotted something odd outside his window. He was flying home from Belfast, Northern Ireland, and the plane “had just begun its descent into London’s Heathrow Airport. I was seated on the right side of the Airbus, and I first saw it as a kind of after-image.” Looking again, Miles “saw a large, cigar-shaped UFO, at very high altitude. The very large, distinct, big cylindrical object was above the highest cloud layer. It seemed, relative to the aircraft, to be stationary. It was about 15 degrees deviation from the aircraft’s flight path.” “As the Airbus began to descend, the object remained fixed in altitude,” he added, “It was finally obscured by scudding high cloud. It will appear to have been stationary, and in the last minutes of observation, I placed it at an altitude of approximately 45,000 to 50,000 feet approximately 50 miles from the aircraft. The object was white, long, and cylindrical, with no obvious features. It was pencil thin, with rounded ends, also white.” Miles stated that he believes his plane was “a bit south of Birmingham” when he spotted the UFO. “There was complete cloud cover below, so no recognizable city could be seen. It would have been 25 minutes before landing. It was still in view up to the final descent, which would have been 10 minutes before landing. So that the total time in view was 15 minutes.” If Miles’s estimate of 50 miles is accurate, the giant UFO would have been hovering over Gloucestershire, perhaps near Cheltenham, Winchcomb or Northleach. DECEMBER 28, 1995…………ANZA-BORREGO DESERT CALIFORNIA
The story of his own unusual UFO encounter, an experience he shared with his two sons and their friend during a camping trip in late 1995. CNI News editor Michael Lindemann interviewed Moseman by phone, and the following is excerpted from the transcript of that conversation.]
Michael Lindemann: To begin with, I understand that your UFO encounter occurred in the Anza-Borrego Desert on December 28, 1995. Is that right? [Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is a very large wilderness park running from about 40 miles south of Palm Springs, California, south almost to the Mexican border.]
George Moseman: Exactly.
ML: Who was with you?
GM: I had two of my kids, and I had a neighbor kid. All boys, ages ten, eleven and twelve.
ML: Were you camping?
ML: Explain how the event began.
GM: This occurred just after sunset, perhaps around 7:00 p.m. It was completely dark.
ML: What exactly did you see?
GM: I’d taken the kids into Borrego Springs [a town in the middle of the park]. We were right off San Diego County Route F22, which runs between Salton City and Borrego Springs. About half way [between those towns] is a “primitive campground” called Arroyo Salado. It’s right off the road, and it’s all rocky. There is no foliage there at all.
The kids had gotten in a fight at the restaurant, and my two kids were mad at the neighbor kid. So, when we went back [to the camp], my two kids took off with flashlights. We were familiar with the area; we’d been out there a lot. There is a little mountain — they call it “Chuck Mountain”– probably 200 feet off of the valley floor, and my kids took flashlights and walked this little trail up the ridge. They were up there for a while. So, I grabbed the neighbor kid, who was with me making camp down below, and I wanted to have a pow-wow, because it was a pretty gutsy confrontation. I took the neighbor kid up to the top, and we sat down up there.
We had a full view of what they call the Badlands, which stretch about 15 miles out to the Salton Sea. We were facing north, sitting down cross-legged, with the flashlights. There was about a half-moon behind me, to my left, and a full field of stars. Winter on the desert is absolutely magnificent.
ML: OK, then what happened?
GM: Coming from the Salton Sea area, I noticed some really bright-orange lights, from the east, really bright orangish-yellow lights coming across the desert.
ML: How many lights?
GM: Lots. Lots. At first, it looked like a squadron of helicopters on night maneuvers, coming across the desert. What fixed me on them was that the lights were a kind of light that I hadn’t… at any rate, it caught my attention right away. So, we all kept looking, and they were really bright… on what appeared to be the outer rim of a disk.
So as this thing gets closer, the first and overwhelming impression was NOT that you were seeing a UFO, but that the lights were all one thing. The shock came from all of a sudden staring at an object that you think is a number of objects, and as it gets close enough to make out what it is, you see it is one object.
ML: So, after seeing lights for a while, as it approached, you could begin to see enough shape that this thing started to have some structure to it?
GM: It was just one thing. You could just tell. I mean, you couldn’t tell exactly what it was, but my first words were, “Oh my god, it’s the mother ship.” And we were not afraid. But we were awestruck, in shock.
[As as aside, George explained that “we wrote our dialogue down — who said what, when. After the sighting, I separated the kids to let them do pictures, and then we re-created our dialogue.”]
GM: It went right down this sort of shallow valley in front of us. I have a lot of maps of the area, so I tried to triangulate the thing off of the peaks that it went by. We had one peak across from us at 3,500 feet, and one that’s 5,000 feet. It was slightly above that, low enough in the sky, perhaps a 45-degree angle, to be maybe 6,500 to 9,500 feet in altitude. But massive, massive. Football-stadium sized.
ML: You mentioned the term “disk” earlier. What shape was this thing?
GM: A HUGE disk, a huge disk, with some kind of structure on the bottom and top.
ML: What kind of structure?
GM: The top appeared to be a little taller, and the bottom a little bit flatter, but bowed — you know, convex.
ML: You said you saw all of these lights — the lights sort of illuminated the rim of this thing. Is that correct?
GM: Yes. You could see the shape quite clearly. And also the starfield that it blocked out when it went by. It was literally blocking out, I would say, hundreds of stars. You could just see this THING go by.
My oldest son said, “Dad, what is it?” And you go into instinctual parenting and protection, you know? I said, “I don’t know. There’s a lot of military bases out here… aircraft, you know.” I was literally grasping for an alternative explanation, knowing that whatever I said wasn’t going to be bought for five seconds. And he says, “Dad, how can something that big fly that slow?”
ML: How far away do you think it really was?
GM: I’d say maybe two miles out.
ML: Two miles out — and yet it was still big enough to block hundreds of stars?
GM: It was huge.
ML: How slowly do you think it was flying?
GM: Under 50 miles an hour.
ML: Could you hear any sound at all?
GM: Yeah. One of the reasons I originally mistook it for choppers is that it had a… [imitates a helicopter-like thumping sound]. But when I saw what it was, the sound was not choppers, the sound was like a huge generator, like an oscillating electrical sound.
ML: What frequency? What pitch?
GM: Really low. Boom-box. Rattled your chest. Powerful. Not that loud, but pretty convincing. Sub-woofer, East L.A. Saturday night.
ML: Did you notice any physical effects when it was near you? Anything that would, for example, betray static electricity? Or other kinds of…
GM: No, none whatsoever.
ML: What else about it can you tell me? About its behavior, or its shape?
GM: Well, I tried to analyze why we weren’t afraid, other than the fact that it didn’t put out a fear vibe — if we can get that subjective for a moment…
GM: One of the reasons… was the fact that it was flying such a precision path. I watched it for between five and ten minutes, easily. And the path, meaning the velocity and the direction, was so absolutely precision, that was one of the things that made it even more extraterrestrial. Because when you see something like this, you realize that your mind actually catches an airplane bouncing through the air, subconsciously — but this was a path which probably could be measured in proton diameters.
ML: What direction was it traveling again?
GM: East-to-west, all the way from near the Salton Sea, which is probably over 10 miles to the east, to the opposite horizon, probably 15 miles to the west.
ML: How long did that take?
GM: There’s the tricky part, because you’re so absolutely dumbfounded — you know, you’d probably be off if you timed it — but at least five minutes. I used to say 10 minutes, but that would be eternity. We watched the thing disappear into the western horizon and, as it did, we could see the lights.
Then we walked down, and we didn’t say anything. I mean, we were stunned. And the kids were like, “What?” It was like, there’s everything else that happened in your life, and then there’s this. We knew we’d be looking for a place to file this for a long time. But we just single-filed down the mountain.
And my youngest son saw either the same craft, or a similar craft, off in the eastern horizon, to the southeast, about 20 minutes later while we were getting ready to go to sleep. About 20 minutes later, he goes, “There it is again!” We all knew it was, because we had watched it disappear into the western sky, and that’s what it looked like as it was just fading from our field of view. And there it was again, miles away this time, but very obviously the same lighting pattern.
ML: So after he pointed it out, you all saw it again?
GM: Yeah, he pointed it out, but we didn’t see it traverse back to the east, we just looked to the east, and we saw the same thing. As a matter of fact, the lighting pattern on it — if you hadn’t seen it go by 15 minutes prior, you might think it was a group of planes or helicopters flying off.
The kids were kind of afraid. My oldest son sat in the cab of the truck, and looked over at me, and he goes, “You know, I don’t know if I really needed to see that at this point in my life.” I said, “I know what you mean, but we’ll talk about it later.”
So three days later, which was Sunday night, New Year’s Eve of 1995, I got the kids together. I’d let a few days go by, and they were a little chatty about it, and not too defensive. So we talked about it, and we reconstructed the conversation. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
NUFORC: Exactly where were you when you sighted the object?
WITNESS: Approximately a 1/4 mile from the house
NUFORC: Is that a remote area, or suburban?
WITNESS: Our nearest neighbor is 2 1/2 miles away.
NUFORC: Is it pretty much farms around there?
NUFORC: Please go through exactly what happened in sequence, giving as much detail as you possibly can.
WITNESS: Okay. The vehicle (truck) that we were using was on a dirt section line road that runs south of our house. We were just a 1/4 mile south of the house, and went to make what would be a right turn towards the west, and the vehicle that we saw – at first, we didn’t know what the heck it was. It looked like it was sitting there, hovering above the fence row, and it wasn’t quite touching anything. And then as we were watching, the boys went out to lock in the hubs so we could turn around because we were stuck in a bit of a wash there, and the thing seemed to move towards us from the west to the east and came right towards our vehicle.
NUFORC: How far away was it when you first saw it?
WITNESS: It was right over the half-mile section line road, a half mile to the west.
NUFORC: As it came towards you how close did it actually get?
WITNESS: Probably about, I don’t know, 200 feet or better, and then it lifted some and it went over our truck, and it hovered there for just a few moments and then it…the boys dove under the vehicle because they were afraid it was going to sit down on them and then it moved to the east about another 50-60ı, hovered there for a little while, seemed to make a tilt, just a slight tilt of the angle at which it was sitting, and then it kind of went straight on up out of sight.
NUFORC: Can you give us as much of a detailed description of the vehicle as possible.
WITNESS: It had six legs for landing gear. On the bottom of each leg seemed to be a cone or a suction cup shaped pod, and on the bottom of the vehicle was a globe that looked to be like a light glowing on and off, on and off.
NUFORC: What color was the light?
WITNESS: A grey/ white kind of a glow. And it had three rods sticking out of the top, and the rods were, looking from what would be my left to right, were red, white and red. Those stayed on continuously, they never changed.
NUFORC: Now when you say rods what exactly do you mean, were they lit up?
WITNESS: The lights were on the end of what looked like rods or antenna.
NUFORC: How long were those antennas, or rods?
WITNESS: Probably 20 feet, something in that order.
NUFORC: What shape was the craft?
WITNESS: Pretty much round, circular.
NUFORC: Could you estimate its diameter?
WITNESS: About 40 feet across, something like that.
NUFORC: What was the vertical structure of it like?
WITNESS: From the bottom of the legs to the top of the dome was about the same distance, I would say.
NUFORC: Are you saying the overall shape of the craft was round, or was it more like a saucer?
WITNESS: No, It was kind of flat, kind of like an inner tube around a round globe.
NUFORC: And what color was it?
WITNESS: An off-grey, something like that, I guess.
NUFORC: Did it appear metallic, or could you guess at what the material might have been?
WITNESS: No I couldn’t tell you. I’m sure it must have been metal of some sort, but I couldn’t tell you. It wasn’t shiny by any means. It was dull, like there was no sheen off it.
NUFORC: Were you able to see any windows?
WITNESS: On the top dome there were four windows, and they were also colored.
NUFORC: What color were they?
WITNESS: The same colors as the lights up on the top of the rods. They were red, white, red, white in that same order.
NUFORC: And the dome structure that was at the top, was that the same color as the wider section in the middle of the craft – the grey?
WITNESS: Yeah. And then on its side, to one side, there was a kind of a sloping raised area, but it was real smooth looking. And that part raised up, it lifted up, and a, I don’t know what you’d call it other than a rod, came out.
NUFORC: You’re saying that something came out. Do you mean an apparatus was moving?
WITNESS: Yeah, right. And when it protruded from the interior, our vehicle started.
NUFORC: The vehicle started?
WITNESS: On its own.
NUFORC: Are you saying your truck started?
WITNESS: Yeah, my pick-up started on its own.
NUFORC: What kind of a pick-up do you have?
WITNESS: The key was not totally off because we had kinda killed it when we were in our commotion. It was still in not the start position, but the ON position. It was an 84 Toyota.
NUFORC: Does it have electronic ignition?
WITNESS: It has points and plugs and all that, but it’s got an igniter coil system in it.
NUFORC: Can you give us any more of a detailed description on the apparatus that came out?
WITNESS: All we noticed is that it came out and that was about all there was to it. And when the vehicle (craft) moved to the east, the truck shut-off. That is – as soon as it moved to the east and started to raise, my pickup died again.
NUFORC: Were you able to see anything in the windows of the craft?
WITNESS: My sons said that they saw what looked to be like clouded shadows, both of them.
NUFORC: Were these shadows moving?
WITNESS: They said that they saw them moving all except for one which looked like it was pretty much stationery in the third to the last window.
NUFORC: Did they give you any idea of what they thought that might have been?
WITNESS: They said it was too clouded to make out any kind of description as to what they saw moving, but one seemed to be moving back and forth and the others seemed to be walking or moving past. I shouldn’t say walking because they couldn’t tell if that’s what was going on or not.
NUFORC: When the craft left, how did it leave from the area?
WITNESS: It just tipped on about a 20 degree angle and went straight up until you just couldn’t see it anymore, not in a real hurried fashion. I mean it was like a fast rate of climb for a helicopter or something from a standstill to start going out. It seemed to gain speed a little bit, but it wasn’t like it was in a tremendous hurry getting out of sight.
NUFORC: Can you describe any sounds the object might have made, and when they might have occurred?
WITNESS: Just the loud air noise, and that’s all.
NUFORC: When did you hear that?
WITNESS: When it first got to within where it started to lift, somewhere around 200 feet from the pick-up
NUFORC: This is when it was leaving – or when it was coming?
WITNESS: When it was coming toward the pick-up
NUFORC: And then did it get silent again?
WITNESS: No. That noise continued until it left.
NUFORC: It was a continuous sound?
WITNESS: Yeah. Kind of like when you first apply, or when you release a set of air brakes – that rush of air. It was like that, only solid and continuous.
NUFORC: Like the sound of an air compressor, or something like that?
WITNESS: No it was a little more graphic, more detailed, louder than that. It sounded like air moving.
NUFORC: Did you feel anything like static electricity?
WITNESS: No, nothing like that.
NUFORC: Was there anything else that you might consider strange about the event, like a feeling you had or a bizarre occurrence after the sighting?
WITNESS: No, just fear.
NUFORC: Would you mind if we spoke to one of your sons?
WITNESS: If they were here Iıd sure let you, but they are spending the night at a friend’s house. But we have everything documented that they said. I even sent them into separate rooms to draw what they saw. I told them we can’t talk about this until we get home, and I need to get what you guys saw down without either one of you hearing what the other one said.
NUFORC: How old are your sons?
WITNESS: 11 and 12 years old.
NUFORC: Can I give you our address and ask you to send us copies of any drawings or statements?
WITNESS: Certainly, be glad to.
NUFORC: (gives address)
NUFORC: Have you ever seen a UFO before in your life?
WITNESS: No, never.
NUFORC: Have you called anyone else besides Air Traffic Control.
WITNESS: I called the FAA, and I called the command center at Minot AFB to find out if they had heard, or had anything in this area, because I wasn’t sure what I was seeing either.
NUFORC: Did they give you any response?
WITNESS: Yes. They called us back twice. The first time was to see if we had gotten hold of the FAA, and I told them that I hadn’t gotten through yet. I called the one in Bismark, ND, and they referred us to the one in Fargo. I hadn’t gotten hold of the one in Fargo yet, and he (Minot AFB) said that they were still checking and that he would get back to me. Before I could get back to the FAA in Fargo he called back and told me that they hadn’t have anything within a 1,000 mile radius of this area. Then I called the FAA office in Fargo, and she is the one who took the report.
The FAA in Fargo then called the National UFO Reporting Center. We in turn contacted the witness and took this report. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
