A man reported seeing, videoing, and photographing an object that was flying horizontally before it hovered for 40 seconds, then flew vertically up and vanished, according to testimony in Case 131240. The witness took at least four still photographs (one of which is shown above) of the UFO during the two-minute sighting, as well as a 26-second video. One of the photographs shows the vertical movement of the object as a streak of light. The witness was on his deck at 9:15 p.m. on May 28, 2023. His CMS detailed description states: “Saw this UAP in the air last night; got some good video and pictures, but I didn’t even realize that I caught [its vertical ascent].” Vermont MUFON Field Investigator Robin Perreault closed this case as an Unknown Aerial Vehicle. In his investigative summary, Perreault writes that the sighting is from a very rural area of Vermont, up in the mountains and secluded area. Although there was a small plane in the area, the witness saw the small plane and stated so. It was not the object that he recorded.
The object has no navigation lights at all. It was silent and the witness stated that when it changed its path of direction it shot up vertically with great speed. I will check the databank for other witnesses of the object, but it appears we have a UAV. Although it is hard to see the movement in the video, the witness stated that it was moving at a high rate of speed and then shot up vertically out of sight. If this is the case, then I am going to call this a UAV. I contemplated “unknown other,” but the movement and change of direction point to a vehicle of some kind rather than a stationary unknown object. note: The above photo is from the witness.
There are also calls to remove the stigma for aviators who report UAP sightings and to ensure oversight of government programs that investigate them.
Retired Maj. David Grusch, who went from being part of the Pentagon’s UAP Task Force to becoming a whistleblower, told the House Oversight Committee’s national security subcommittee that he had been denied access to some government UFO programs but that he knows the “exact locations” of UAPs in U.S. possession.
In response to public interest and political pressure, federal and military agencies have shared a trove of information about unexplained aircraft encounters — but many sightings have been found to be of pedestrian origin, from weather balloons to drones, airborne trash, and birds.
On Wednesday, Defense Department spokeswoman Susan Gough issued a statement saying the Pentagon’s inquiries had not turned up “any verifiable information to substantiate claims that any programs regarding the possession or reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial materials have existed in the past or exist currently,” as The Associated Press reports.
Grusch also alleged that the U.S. has retrieved “non-human” biological matter from the pilots of the crafts, adding, “That was the assessment of people with direct knowledge on the [UAP] program I talked to, that are currently still on the program.”
While he refrained from sharing any further information in the public hearing, Grusch offered to disclose details behind closed doors.
Grusch said he hasn’t personally seen any alien vehicles or alien bodies, and that his opinions are based on the accounts of over 40 witnesses he interviewed over four years in his role with the UAP task force.
“My testimony is based on information I have been given by individuals with a longstanding track record of legitimacy and service to this country — many of whom also shared compelling evidence in the form of photography, official documentation, and classified oral testimony,” Grusch said, adding that the trove of evidence has been intentionally kept secret from Congress.
The subcommittee also heard testimony from former Navy fighter pilot Ryan Graves and retired Cmdr. David Fravor about their alleged encounters with aircraft of an unexplained origin.
Graves recounted an incident with a flying object off the coast of Virginia Beach in 2014. While flying an F-18, he said, he came upon an aircraft that looked like a “dark gray or black cube inside of a clear sphere” that he estimated to be five to 15 feet in diameter and unlike any aircraft he has ever seen. Grave claimed the UAP could remain stationary despite hurricane-force winds.
He told lawmakers that his squadron submitted a safety report at the time but that he received no official acknowledgment of the incident. According to the former pilot, UAP encounters in that region were “not rare or isolated.”
Graves has since founded Americans for Safe Aerospace, a group that supports aviators who have reported UAPs. He stated that the objects that are reportedly being seen by military and commercial pilots “are performing maneuvers that are unexplainable due to our current understanding of our technology and our capabilities as a country.” NOTE: The above image is CGI.
For decades, NATO forces flexed their muscles against the Warsaw Pact, each nation conducting a dangerous cat and mouse game of testing defences, both in the air and at sea. At its height, Soviet aircraft flew many intrusive flights into the North Atlantic knowing they would be tracked by the many NATO radar/listening facilities stretching from Iceland down to Britain via means of ground, sea and airborne means. NATO’s response was (and still is) swift and efficient in challenging the intruders. The ‘game’ was also enacted at sea as Soviet submarines regularly left their bases in the Barents Sea in an attempt to enter the North Atlantic undetected, but their movements were closely monitored by NATO and the appropriate action taken. Although the Cold War is now a thing of the past and Russian air incursions are few and far between, NATO remains watchful and ready to react at a moments notice. It was during 1970 and 1971 that the Western Alliance became increasingly concerned at a speight of incidents involving UFOs over the North Atlantic Ocean and the Eastern coastline of Britain. As a result, a highly secret and operation was instigated to try to get to the bottom of the mystery once and for all.-
Operation Aeneid was a combined operation involving the RAF, the USAF and members of the Royal Observer Corps. It involved the establishment of secret observation centres around Great Britain, including at least four in Lincolnshire, that were constantly manned throughout the Autumn and Winter of 1970 and the Spring of 1971. A number of UFO sightings were made, including one in broad daylight off the Lincolnshire coast. The latter involved an appearance by a huge UFO, reportedly 180 feet long and accompanied by numerous ball-shaped objects that had a glass-like appearance. These spent several hours hovering over the RAF bombing range at Donna Nook and was witnessed by at least half-a-dozen airmen. During the course of the operation, UFOs were tracked on many occasions and fighter aircraft were scrambled to intercept. During one incident, two aircraft ordered to intercept a UFO over the North Sea suddenly found themselves surrounded by strange unknown craft. In a separate incident, a General Electric Lightning fighter was scrambled from RAF Binbrook to intercept a UFO.
Ground Radar monitors had both the UFO and fighter on screen when suddenly the two ‘targets’ merged into one before separating again. Although voice transmission was lost and later regained, the aircraft crashed into the sea and the pilot was lost. Wreckage was later recovered at sea by the crew of HMS Kiddleston, but the pilot’s body was never found. What remained of the aircraft was later transported to RAF Binbrook – which was unusual. Normally, all wreckage from air accidents are taken to Farnborough for thorough investigation, but on this occasion the rules were changed. Air accident investigators from Farnborough had to travel to RAF Binbrook to undertake their examination. On their arrival at Binbrook, they found the wreckage hidden behind a tarpaulin in a hanger; their usual access to such wreckage was restricted; they were only permitted to perform a cursory examination. They were amazed to discover that many of the aircraft’s flight instruments were missing.
Their removal had been a serious breach of regulations and although told the instruments would be returned, they never were. The investigating team were constantly supervised by five civilians, two of whom were Americans. After only a few hours, the team were told their job was over, to pack up their bags and go. The following day, members of the team were summoned to the main office at Farnborough and told in no uncertain terms not to discuss any aspect of the crash with anyone, not even members of their own families. The reason? National Security. Since then, UFO activity has continued apace in the North Atlantic and North Sea. In recent times, that activity has been reported off the coasts of Lincolnshire, Scotland, Belgium, Denmark and the south coast of Iceland. ‘Confrontations’ have occurred between elements of the NATO fleet and huge triangular objects seen emerging into and from the sea. On 20 December 1992, three UFOs were tracked coming down and entering the sea off the east coast of Iceland.
The following day, Icelandic fishermen off the north east coast were confronted by very large, very fast, “moving underwater craft” which displayed flashing coloured lights. These USOs (Underwater Submarine Objects) appeared to be accompanied by a glowing airborne object travelling south towards the coast of Scotland. As the USOs moved through the water they came into contact with and damaged fishing nets. The fishermen concerned told me they were used to submarine activity in the area, but said these particular craft were definitely not normal submarines. They moved too fast through the water, had flashing lights, and were far larger than anything they had seen before. The fishermen were so frightened by the events they contacted Icelandic authorities who immediately dispatched Icelandic Coast Guard vessels to act as escorts. On 23 December 1992, an Icelandic Coast Guard vessel and two gunboats were ordered to take up station off Langeness, an area where UFOs had been seen entering the water.
The operation was conducted in great secrecy and I was told the crews felt very uneasy. Their role was to observe and report. A short time later, three American warships took up station in the area and were eventually joined by a fleet of NATO warships, including some from Britain. A simple check with newspapers in the week leading up to Christmas of that year will reveal the gathering was described as a military exercise. Few bothered to appreciate that it was extremely strange and unusual for a massive NATO naval exercise to take place so close to Christmas. On 24 December 1992, the crews of two British ‘Hunter Killer’ submarines were recalled from Christmas leave. HMS Tireless and HMS Trenchant put to sea to link up with the NATO surface fleet. At the same time, Icelandic Coast Guard vessels and gunboats were ordered to take up station at Alice Fjord off the east coast of Iceland. British newspapers then put out a story that surface ships had entered the area to track a very large underwater craft, believed to be a new generation of Russian submarine.
I then received further information from contacts that a further four UFOs had been seen to descend and enter the same area of sea. Icelandic sources also confirmed that the entire operation was linked to tracking “unknown underwater alien craft”. Around this time, a massive sea search was put into operation to locate a surface vessel which had reportedly gone missing. The search continued in great secrecy for several days, but without success. Then, on 12 January 1993, smaller Icelandic vessels had to take shelter at Langeness Fjord because of appalling weather conditions which continued for approximately three weeks. The largest ships of the NATO fleet remained at sea. By the 6 February 1993, the weather had improved sufficiently for ships to put back to sea. Icelandic Coast Guard vessels and gunboats were ordered to take up their original positions on picket duty. All was quiet at sea for the next few days, until suddenly all ships in the area received a message from the American Flotilla, comprised of three Destroyers.
The message instructed all ships to stand off and not to approach any closer than three nautical miles. All ships complied. While outside the ‘exclusion zone’ ships radar’s suddenly detected sixteen airborne objects which were then visibly seen to approach the American vessels and then hover directly above them. Crews on outlying boat saw the brightly lit amber coloured objects remain stationary for a short time before they suddenly sped away in unison at great speed. The watching crews were bemused and knew the objects could not possibly have been helicopters, not least because of the poor weather conditions and the fact they were too far from land. On 15 April 1993, all ships involved in the secret operation were ordered to search for yet another American warship which had gone missing. Only two American Destroyers were now visible to the outlying ships. The names of both the remaining American ships had been removed and the crews were seen wearing full battle dress.
Elements of the Russian Navy had now joined the operation and were working in unison with the NATO surface fleet at the mouth of the Barents Sea. On one occasion radio communication between the Russian ships were understood to say: “We are engaging unknown underwater craft.” On 16 April 1993, British newspapers carried the headline, ‘Joint American and Russian Military Exercises About To Take Place’. They announced: ‘For the first time since World War Two, joint exercises involving elite American and Russian troops are about to take place on Russian soil. The area of operation is said to be Siberia. The arrival point of the American troops, was Tiksi.’ Tiksi is the nearest Russian Port to the area where the naval operations were taking place. Due to severe security warnings given to all personnel regarding the leaking of information, no further information was forthcoming. Information about other incidents did continue to reach me however, such as one that took place on 21 April 1993, when the crew of an Icelandic Airlines aircraft, travelling from London to Iceland, became aware that two large balls of white light had joined them as they passed over the coast of Scotland.
The bright “glowing balls” took up position on either side of the aircraft towards the tail. The objects maintained this position all the way to Iceland and only when the aircraft began it’s descent to Keflavik Airport did they depart. During the many months that followed Icelandic fishermen remained nervous and concerned as they repeatedly witnessed strange aerial phenomenon in the sky close to their fishing grounds. On one occasion, several tubular objects with “glowing blue-like fluorescent lights” hovered over fishing boats who then experienced a complete power loss for several minutes. Eventually the objects disappeared and power was restored. At 7.30pm on Monday, 12 February 1996, I received a ship-to-shore telephone call from a fishing vessel in the Denmark Straight, off the West Coast of Iceland. The caller told me that a huge triangular craft had appeared and was hovering low in the sky close to his boat. At that precise moment the transmission was cut off. Approximately fifteen minutes later the caller rang again to say that all electronics on the ship had suddenly failed.
He told me that he and the rest of the crew had seen the triangular object move away from the boat then suddenly descend into the sea. The moment it had disappeared all electronic power was restored. At 9.00pm on Sunday, 18 February 1996, a further call was received from the boats at sea. On this occasion the caller told me that the whole crew were terrified because three huge black triangular objects, accompanied by three independent red balls of light, had come out of the sea and were hovering silently in the air close to their boats. I asked if the balls of light were connected to the triangles and he said, “No they are totally seperate and independent”. The caller was asked if the triangles were showing on the ships Radar. He replied, “No the Radar is not picking them up, the whole crew are standing on the deck watching them.” Were the objects close to the boat? “Yes, they are hovering near the port bow, we’re all scared”. Asked if he could hear any sound coming from the objects, he replied, “No there’s no sound coming from them”. Were there any lights on the triangles? “Yes there are small lights on different parts of them.” He then said, “The whole crew are out on deck watching them”.
Suddenly the transmission was lost and the phone went dead. A short time later the connection was restored and the voice at the other end said, “The objects have now gone, they all descended and went down into the sea”. At 3am. on Monday, 19th. February, 1996 a call was received in the middle of the night, from a fishing boat at sea, off the coast of Iceland. The caller said, ” We have just been watching a gigantic sphere, hovering in the air, not very far from our boats. It slowly moved away from us and then descended and disappeared into the sea. We have no idea what it was.” An hour later the telephone was ringing again and once again the message was from the fishing boat. “There are now six large florescent tube like objects hovering in the air close to our position, they are a blue color and not making a sound. All these strange things are making the crew very frightened, we don’t like all this”. At 10.55pm. on Tuesday, 23rd. April, 1996, a further telephone call was received from a ship which was fishing 200 miles South West of the coast of Iceland.
The caller said, ” You are not going to believe what we have just seen. We were fishing fairly close to a group of American Warships and suddenly there was a blinding flash of light and one of the warships just disappeared in front of our eyes. I know it sounds crazy, but I can assure you it happened a short time ago. Soon after this an American boat came over to us an ordered us and other fishing boats to leave the area immediately. Our Captain didn’t need any telling, he told us to get our boat out of the area as quickly as possible and to return to our base in Iceland. We are now making our way back. The incident has upset us all, particularly the Captain, he has retired to his cabin with a bottle of whisky”. On Sunday, 19 January 1997, A large number of UFO-related events occurred off the south coast of Iceland. Reports were received of large numbers of UFOs gathering over the sea. I can assure readers that these reports were coming from ships at sea, witnesses on the ground and from airline pilots. On Monday, 20 January 1997, airliners attempting to land and depart from Keflavik Airport were delayed because UFOs were seen flying in civilian air corridors.
Only when the UFOs had departed were things returned to normal. Recent information from our Spanish contacts reveal that their fishermen have also reported seeing huge triangular craft and other objects coming out of the sea off the coast of Ibetha. These are currently being investigated. There is no doubt that these extraordinary events are not something recent or new to the areas most effected. They have been occurring since the early 1960s and appear to have continued unabated to the present day. Thirty years ago, pilots and other witnesses described amazing speeds and aerial manoeuvers and cited their apparent ability to operate equally as well in the oceans. Perhaps they are not visitors from another planet, perhaps they have always existed in the darkest, deepest depths of our oceans. If so, could it be that their increasing appearance is tied to the ecological damage we are inflicting on our planet’s surface, as well as in our Oceans? Speculation I know, but an interesting possibility. On the other hand, what if they are indeed visitors from another planet? Why are they here and what are their intentions? They act secretly and come and go like shadows in the night, watching our every move. Why are UFOs seen so often in the vicinity of military bases, nuclear missile sites or in areas of military operations?
During the winter of 1964-1965 at the location of Scotland’s northern most Early Warning radar tracking station, RAF Saxa Vord in the Shetland Isles, a serious and relatively unknown incident took place which was witnessed by ground Radar personnel who were on duty at the time. The case was also documented and recorded by the Royal Air Force themselves. My source reports: Radar Operators observed a stationary return on the early warning radar which gained their interest and curiosity. The object was observed sitting motionless at a height of approximately 20,000 feet. (I asked him how the height of the return was established and he informed me that it was obtained by using the radar’s height finder on the system.) The return was a very strong signal which showed up clearly on the radar as a “real structured object”, but what caused immediate concern was the fact that this particular object could not be readily identified by the personnel on duty.
Seeing as this was during the “cold war”, the personnel had to assume that this anomalous radar return was an incoming hostile as it was now slowly approaching toward the North coast of Scotland from a North Easterly direction. There was no reply from the IFF (which was to inform them if the incoming was friend or foe) so the unknown was treated by the on duty personnel as if it were a hostile, possibly Russian. For an unspecified amount of time, the unknown object slowly continued to approach toward the Scottish coast, a few minutes followed then a QRA alert was sent to RAF Leuchars in Fife, who in turn, scrambled 2 English Electric Lightnings (which were the interceptor aircraft at that time) to intercept and identify the incoming threat. RAF Leuchars was the nearest station at this time to deal with such a request. NOTE: I did ask my source the initial range and distance from the coast, that the radar detected the anomaly from, but he could not answer me due to the fact that it may be giving away confidential and secret information, which we do respect here at UFO Scotland.
Reporting is one thing but spilling official secrets is not our aim. It has to be said that this range information will also be well outdated by now anyway. The two Lightnings were vectored, via ground controllers, towards the incoming bogey but as they approached the locale of the unknown object, my source hinted that the object seemed to become aware of this fact and what happened next suprised them all. The object just proceeded to go vertical,rapidly, directly up and up until it was lost on the height finder on the radar system. I then asked the witness “at what height the Height finder could lose track” and he reported that it was about 100,000 feet. Significant point: It is a well known fact that no aircraft on this planet at that time or during present day, had or have the capabilities of performing these types of manouveres captured on Radar or could even climb to that altitude period. The witness then told me that he believed that the anomaly was definately exhibiting intelligent control and was in his honest opinion “Not one of ours!” At one point, when the unknown was witnessed by the radar operators to go vertical instantaneously, the two operators just looked at eachother, shook their heads and said “NO”.
It was further established during the interview that Ground Radar returns were out of the question seeing as this incident took place over the North Sea and not over land. The case was apparently logged through the official channels and apparently, the scrambled Lightnings got nowhere near their targets. The whole incident still remains unexplained to date and the witness informed me that this particular incident was the only unexplained event that he had ever witnessed during his career and that he did feel that it should be logged as an important sighting pertaining to ufo research and our search for the “REAL TRUTH” NOTE: The above image is CGI.
Hi Ken: It was a sunny hot day, so I decided to go to Exmouth and walk up and down the beach and enjoy the sunny weather and take a much-needed break from investigating UAP for once. I walked along the beach heading toward the harbor and once I finally reached the end of the beach, I turned around to look back to see all the people sunbathing and also see the ferrous wheel. I then spotted something rather unexpected… I just happened to see an anomalous object over by some trees and several hotels. The object was sphere-shaped and metallic in nature, and there was a visible field around it. There was no form of visible propulsion, and I watched it as it slowly glided through the air until it was directly above the Octagon building which is a shop that sells snacks and refreshments. I had a feeling that this large anomalous sphere was observing the people on the beach below. Unfortunately, I did not have my Nikon P900 camera with me, so I had to make do with my Nikon Coolpix L26 pocket camera instead.
I quickly took a photograph successfully capturing the anomalous object in a single photograph just before it disappeared or cloaked away from view. This is quite incredible and shows how prevalent this Alien phenomenon is around Devon. I was not UFO spotting this particular day and I still witnessed and captured a real sphere alien craft. The photograph was taken at around 6 pm on the 16th of August 2023, at Exmouth, Devon England. Note: I haven’t used this camera for quite a while, so the date and time were not set within the camera correctly, so the meta dater shows the wrong date and time. All the best John.
I was lying on the terrace with my brother and cousin watching the stars and talking. All of a sudden, my brother tells us to look at the plane lights coming from afar. They looked strange because we were used to a flashing light coming from planes. Anyway, we kept looking at it until something hit us; there were three disks of orange light forming a triangle moving together (afterward we knew it was part of one huge saucer-like shape). The three lights were getting closer. We started to freak out a little because the lights were getting bigger, but we could not see the saucer as a whole. We got up, ran, and hid but still looking at the lights. The lights moved at a speed of 30 km/h when we saw them and suddenly, they zipped away like a shooting star.
We could not believe our eyes and started looking at each other trying to explain what has just happened. As I was really skeptical of everything that had to do with UFO’s or paranormal, I had no answer to that. However, the next day on the Italian channel in the news, they announced that the Belgian Military air force detected a UFO and 2 F16s chased it. Now, I’m not from Marayong, I was visiting a friend. I just got off the train about 8PM. Prior to this sighting, little white dots in the sky that look like stars move so smoothly, they are far too high up to be a plane and they weren’t flashing, just traveling. They had no characteristics of a shooting star what’s so ever, I’ve experienced this twice, one time on the South Coast in Sanctuary Point and the other In Ashfield, Sydney when I was staying in a woman’s shelter due to the cost of living in Australia at the moment. I tried to film this, but the dot was so small, every time I tried to zoom in, I kept losing track of the traveling light, so I gave up. My experience on the south coast with the traveling lights was more intense anyway, I had to ask my mother whether she could see them too, she actually pointed one out to me, so it confirmed that we were both seeing these things. Anyway, let’s get to the part I’m really here for. I’ve been sleepless wanting some answers. I’m going nuts over here! I mean it’s too high to be a drone!
I just got off the train at Marayong just after 8pm and I suddenly thought maybe I’ll see some moving stars again, so I looked up and there’s this I don’t know, thing? Blinking, 2 circle white lights just blinking. I have this all on film by the way and this thing is hovering, I can tell because I keep looking back at the streetlight and the vehicle and its clearly hovering, not making any kind of sound before and I swear I saw another one pop up for a second and vanished, I’m not too sure like I’m still in shock that I’m seeing this in my life time or even my own country for that matter, it’s so surreal! I mean I’ve always been interested in Aliens, space and other strange stuff ever since I was little. Anyway, I just crawled out from the bush to get a better view. The UFO started to blink a red light and started to show plane characteristics and slowly moved away without sound. Planes don’t just move like that, what kind of plane hovers? I’m telling you this thing isn’t a drone either. Unfortunately, and probably fortunately this is all I’ve experienced. Are they now disguising themselves as planes? I zoomed into my video & took screenshots. I saw a bright disc in the screenshot as what it appears to be.
A radio transmission from an American Airlines from Cincinnati to Phoenix last weekend might have been ripped straight from the X-Files.
“Do you have any targets up here? We just had something go right over the top of us,” said the pilot at 1:19 p.m. CST on Sunday. “I hate to say this, but it looked like a long cylindrical object that almost looked like a cruise missile type of thing moving really fast right over the top of us,” according to audio published on aviation blog Deep Black Horizon.
The blogger, Steve Douglass, intercepted the transmission accidentally as he was trying to pick up another aircraft with a radio scanner. “It was a pure coincidence,” he told The Arizona Republic.
Douglass used two flight tracking websites, Flightradar24 and Flight Aware, to determine that the exact position of the plane was “over the northeast corner of New Mexico west of Clayton, New Mexico” at an altitude of 37,000 feet.
Following a debrief with the flight crew, American Airlines confirmed that the radio transmission came from flight 2292.
Yesterday, the FAA released a short statement: “A pilot reported seeing an object over New Mexico shortly after noon local time on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021. FAA air traffic controllers did not see any object in the area on their radarscopes.”
While authorities may never be able to explain what the missile-like object was, it’s not the first time a pilot has spotted unexplained flying phenomena. In fact, it happens fairly regularly.
A remarkably similar incident occurred over the Sonoran Desert three years ago. On February 24, 2018, within minutes of each other, two pilots flying different aircraft — a Phoenix Air Group Learjet and an American Airlines commercial flight — both reported passing a mysterious object, according to audio recordings released by the Federal Aviation Administration to the Phoenix New Timesseveral weeks later.
“Was anybody above us that passed us like 30 seconds ago?” the Learjet pilot asked an air traffic controller. “Negative,” replied the tower.
In November 9, 2018, a British Airways pilot flying over Ireland reported seeing “a very bright light that disappeared at very high speed,” reported The Guardian. A Virgin Airlines pilot confirmed seeing it, too: “Multiple objects following the same sort of trajectory – very bright from where we were.”
Experts say there is usually a very logical explanation for UFO sightings, and the U.S. government has had a famously long history of being tight-lipped on the subject. In recent years, however, there’s been some notable movement on that front.
In 2017, the Pentagon acknowledged the existence of a $22-million Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program that had investigated reports of “unexplained aerial phenomena” from 2007 until it was shut down in 2012. NOTE: The above image is real but from another case file.
If you are interested in the unidentified flying object phenomenon, you are probably familiar with the so-called “Foo Fighters” that existed during the Second World War. Foo Fighter is the term given to a circular, spherical, wedged or disc-like shape object that appears glowing and shiny. It also has a high degree of illumination and were seen by World War II flight crews or pilots. Throughout the years, no Foo Fighters were reported or known to have attempted or made any interaction, attack or contact. However, they were known for their high rate of agility and speed. Being faster than any identified aircraft as well as being extremely maneuverable, it has an extremely unconventional abilities like instantaneous deceleration and acceleration, rapid descent, and climbing and hovering in place.
Usually, they are paralleled aircraft and were seen mostly by aviators. Foo Fighters were perplexing balls of light. Theories range from alien probes to natural phenomena of a poorly understood nature, and from secret weapons of Nazi to secret devices of the Allies. While the stories are famous within the field of Ufology, less popular fall on the other flying machines during the Second World War. In such a case, it’s not about small light balls causing chaos and concern for pilots, but it is all about the massive alien spacecraft. Long before the U.S., England entered the war in what is known as Foo Fighters reported by the British on September 1941. Through regular sightings, except for a month in 1943, all sides continuing throughout the war. On the U.S. side, even though sightings occurred at regular intervals before P-61 Black Widows deployment in Europe, it was the fighter pilots who regularly report seeing Foo Fighters. They usually describe it as an unknown object. The pilots of Black Widows finally coined the word Foo-Fighters – thanks to them!
I had gone back to Shaldon to Investigate the area next to the Ness pub as I have experienced a lot of strange activities at the Teign Estuary lately. I have seen all manner of strange things that I can’t explain. I have seen UFOs, small entities and green portholes that open up in the sky, and a whole manner of anomalous things. I was standing on the grassy area with my back towards the Ness pub looking up the hill where I had seen many Rods (Skyfish) when I saw a basketball-shaped sphere that was translucent in nature but was still visible to the naked eye. I immediately took a burst of photographs as it flew off to the right where it then went through the bushes, while a smaller entity flew down and flew left into the undergrowth and then disappeared from view. I had managed to capture these two anomalous objects before they were gone. This translucent sphere is the same one that comes through the wall into the bedroom and I see it regularly.
I have also unwittingly had communication with it. I was asleep on the top of my bed one day having a quick doze, dreaming that I was in the back kitchen and there was a large bee on the window and it looked like it was having trouble escaping through the mall open gap. I step closer and then noticed that it had a peculiar looking little face and it spoke to me and said we are watching you because you are watching us. The bee then flew up from the window and landed on my hand and I immediately woke up only to see a translucent sphere inches from my face. It took me a moment to come around, and I promptly reached out to grab it and see if it was physical, but it quickly flew off through the wall. I was really quite surprised that I had telepathically communicated with this sphere object and the intelligence behind it. This is quite remarkable. The photographs were taken at 5:17 PM on the 29th of May 2023, at the Teign Estuary, Devon England.
Dennis reports that on February 15, 1999, a triangle passed overhead heading west to east while he was driving on Route 138 north of Woodville. He lost sight of it due to the trees. A few days later, on February 20, he and his wife were sitting in their sunroom at 11:40 PM. They were watching a fox feed on bread they had put outside, when a craft appeared heading in a southerly direction. They stepped out on the porch for a closer look. Dennis states, “The craft passed over us silently, slowly, steadily and very low. The underside of it was dimly lighted by a hazy white light, thus making it possible to see the logo. The logo was a triangle edged in yellow containing the Earth being struck by two lightning bolts with the number ‘1’ in the right hand corner. As it approached, a feeling of serenity and calm came over us making it a wonderful feeling to watch as it passed overhead. I estimate the speed of the craft at five to ten miles and hour. The size was approximately 40 feet in length and forty feet wide at the rear of the craft with the nose of the craft forming a point.
The craft looked similar to a Stealth fighter, however it was a much large plane. The altitude of the craft was about one hundred feet, I repeat there was not a sound from the craft and id did not even create a breeze. I would appreciate any answers you might have to as what this craft is or who it belongs to.” Thanks to Dennis Bossack.
Editors Note: I have spent several hours on the phone interviewing Dennis who states the logo or insignia was five feet in diameter and at the front was the Omega symbol. The two lightning strikes that penetrate Earth begin at the 11 and 1 o’clock position. A similar lightning symbol was used by Roman soldiers conquering ancient Britain. The lightning strikes could infer a discharge of atmospheric electricity or perhaps intentions of colonizing Earth. Imagine if you will, the Shuttle Atlantis orbiting Earth and being followed closely by something NASA called, “a UFO.” Well that’s what CNN, Larry King Live, The Seattle Times and ABC news reported. Atlantis was launched into space on September 9, 2006. An intense twelve-day mission and a stressful twenty-four hours with what NASA said were three gray metallic circular-shaped UFO’s changing positions around them in orbit. These objects flew around the shuttle, racing from the front to the back, quickly changing positions and then just hovering for a while. Latter NASA tried to say the UFOs were objects that had unknowingly floated out of the cargo bay. It is impossible that objects could have floated out of the shuttle cargo bay and had the ability to increase speed, to pass the shuttle and be visible in front of the nose area, as the recorded NASA conversations show.
Fox News showed clear video of not one, but four metallic ball-like UFO’s near the shuttle. These objects appear perfectly round and occasionally move from one location to another around the shuttle. If it was debris, it should not be able to move so suddenly and still stay in perfect orbit with the shuttle. The objects seemed to zoom to other position around the shuttle quickly and then hold their position for a while as if they were curious about the shuttle. NASA admitted they often see objects like these through the years and even chased after them a bit, but none have ever gotten the recognition that this mission has gotten, yet they said they have never been able to find out where these circular-shaped objects came from. NASA eventually came upon the conclusion that the tiny ball like UFOs didn’t pose any threat to the shuttle.
NASA delayed their planned landing of the space shuttle Atlantis by more than a day because engineers spotted several unidentified flying objects matching the Atlantis’s orbit perfectly without deviation. On CNN, NASA declared it as a UFO and then latter claimed it was an object that may have accidentally flown out of its cargo bay. NASA kept repeating that it was “a UFO” rather that what Fox News video reveals showing visibly at least 4 or more dull grey ball UFOs. One object was estimated by FOX news to be close to the size of a small house. An object of this size could not fit into the cargo bay of the shuttle, but when NASA engineers’ scrambled for an explanation, the best they could think of was that it came from the cargo bay.
NASA engineers became frantically worried that the item that floated out of the cargo bay may have been a crucial element to the shuttle and may cause a severe accident on reentry as in 1993 when the space shuttle Columbia disintegrated on reentry, killing all seven astronauts aboard. Many UFOlogist claim that the Colombia collided with a UFO on reentry, but that has yet to be proven.
NASA engineers believed that the object might have shook loose from the shuttle during the firing of jets in preparation for landing. The shuttle crew was ordered to do an additional inspection, something the Atlantis crew already had done twice earlier. An inspection is tedious and time consuming, because the crew and those who break down the data that is sent back to Mission Control are looking for the tiniest of cracks that could allow damaging heat to penetrate the shuttle during re-entry. This inspection the third time seems to have been done to keep the crew of the shuttle busy on their work and keep their minds off the UFOs flying outside their windows.
NASA even decided that the UFO may be a serious threat to Atlantis and they circled the date November 11th to be the day that they would be forced to launch STS 300, shuttle Discovery in case the Atlantis crew needed rescuing in orbit. This plan may have been made because the UFOs themselves were dangerously close below the Atlantis shuttle, preventing it from leaving orbit or attempting a landing, heightening the risk of a collision. The Discovery would have raced to be launched with a skeleton crew. It would have rendezvoused with Atlantis, orbiting as close as 50 feet away, each shuttle’s open payload bays facing one another at a 90-degree angle. A rope tied to an astronaut would carry two spacesuits to the Atlantis, allowing them to escort them two at a time back to Discovery. Then once empty, the Atlantis would have been sent plummeting into the ocean by remote control. Fortunately this didn’t happen.
Wayne Hale, the NASA space shuttle program manager stated, “The question is what is it? Is it something benign? Or is it something more critical we should pay attention to?” Then Mr. Hale continued. “We want to make sure we’re safe before committing to that critical journey through the atmosphere.”
Astronauts aboard the shuttle Atlantis took numerous photos and video of the UFOs and described it (still referring to the many UFOs as one) to Mission Control. “It’s fairly small…it was departing away from us, maybe one or two feet per second,” Jett announced over the radio. “It wasn’t rising or falling…it was definitely moving away fairly quickly.”
Mission control saw the UFO the size of which would not be disclosed by NASA, with a video camera in the shuttle’s cargo bay. The object, which circled the Earth in the same orbit as the shuttle several times, was in a circular-shaped metallic ball, yet CNN video shows the object to be a rectangle shaped brownish object that seems to rotate end over end as it moves across the sky with the clouds below it. This discrepancy of the actual object seems baffling, yet perhaps the object has the ability to change its shape as some UFO’s have been said to do, but the most likely solution is that the small metallic balls came from the long brown object and were probes of some sort, scanning, taking readings and such.
NASA Mission Control communicated through a digital downlink to the shuttle Atlantis. They spoke about the UFO’s they saw from the payload by camera. In this conversation, they used code words like rings and reflections and foil so that they don’t cause anyone to panic who happened to overhear their conversation, like ham radio operators:
Mission Control: “Do you see the digital downlink?” (Video of four metallic orbs moving along side the shuttle).
Atlantis Astronaut: “Uh…We do see that.”
Mission Control: “Okay. That’s uh, looking out in front of the orbiter.”
Atlantis Astronaut: “Okay, we are seeing three or four objects. Can you confirm that it’s just the one moving? That the other ones are just reflections?”
Mission Control: “No, there are, there are three objects. The one you see, you see two rings right there. They are the ones that we got the late tally-ho on. Uh, the one down at the bottom, that’s the one we initially saw that appeared to be foil. So we got two rings and a piece of foil. The piece of foil seem to be further in front with the grounding strap on it. It seems to be further in front of the other two, and the other two seem about the same equal distance from both us and the forward one.”
Atlantis Astronaut: “Copy that.”
In the next conversation between an Atlantis astronaut and Mission Control, you will see that the astronaut is concerned over the distance of one of the UFO’s and if he had the distance of the object, then he and everyone else on Earth could easily calculate the exact size of UFO’s using the video from the shuttle. If the exact size were larger than that which would fit into the cargo payload, then it would be definite proof that they were UFOs, but mission control handles this curious astronaut well. For instance, if the objects were a quarter a mile away, that would make the objects much larger than the shuttle itself.
Atlantis Astronaut: “Yeah, I’m just wondering. How close we are to the trajectory foam by the Soyuz.” (He was referring to the long brown-red UFO he saw out his window as the trajectory foam.)
Mission Control: “Yeah, we’re asking.” (Long pause). “We’re going to check on that, but, uh, while we are waiting for that, uh, we were thinking based on our daylight and KU availability, if we can get back to the OBS inspection and maybe use the still cameras to photograph these objects.”
Atlantis Astronaut: “Yeah, we understand. We’re getting back to OBS.” (The astronaut sounded embarrassed).
Mission Control: “Thanks!” (Said in a higher tone, as if he was relieved from the stress the astronaut gave him).
The mission management team had ruled out that something hit the shuttle as it was in orbit. The NASA engineers believed the sensors that indicated “hits” were reacting to the forward control system maneuver, which is part of the preparation for landing. If the sensor alarm for “hits” against the shuttle did sound, and this UFO was in synchronous orbit with the shuttle, it can be concluded that the UFO came in contact with and actually touched against the shuttle Atlantis at least one or more times. If these small gray metal balls were probes, then they might have placed objects on the shuttle to keep track of its location, or getting closer scans of its inhabitants. It may have been these “hits” of the UFOs bumping the Shuttle Atlantis that may have caused NASA to panic into thinking it may have to send up the other shuttle to rescue them.
“It’s something that we didn’t expect, but it’s something that we’re taking a real close look at,” stated one NASA engineer. NASA then ordered the Atlantis to keep its cameras running all night instead of stowing them ahead of the planned landing attempt as they usually do. This shows their fear of the UFOs and how worried NASA is for the astronauts on the shuttle. For NASA to not be prepared for a contingency can mean only one thing, alien interaction, because NASA has a contingency plan for every possible scenario, but alien interaction is the one that they would be most surprised and confused by.
The Shuttle Atlantis even had a rare conference call with two other spacecraft also currently in orbit. This conversation seems to make light humor of the UFO’s that were following the Shuttle Atlantis.
“It’s a little crowded in the sky this morning,” said Jeff Williams who is a crew member on the international space station that the shuttle undocked from on Sunday after the Atlantis delivered a solar panel addition.
“We were wondering if we had to hire some more air traffic controllers for the increased traffic up here,” answered Michael Lopez-Alegria from the Russian Soyuz space capsule that was launched from Kazakhstan earlier on Monday. NOTE: The above image is real from the Atlantis shuttles camera.
On board an RB-47H aircraft equipped with sophisticated electronic countermeasures equipment, over the Gulf of Mexico.
The crew consisted of: Lewis D. Chase, pilot, Spokane, WA James H. McCoid, copilot, Offutt AFB Thomas H. Hanley, navigator, Vandenberg AFB John J. Provenzano, No. 1 monitor, Wichita, KS Frank B. McClure, No. 2 monitor, Offutt AFB Walter A. Tuchscherer, No. 3 monitor, Topeka, KS
These six men were on a training/test exercise in an RB-47H electronic countermeasures reconnaissance aircraft. The RB-47, while originally developed as a bomber, was also used extensively as a reconnaissance aircraft. One was shot down by the Soviet Union while on such a mission in 1960.
This particular mission began at Forbes AFB in Topeka, Kansas as an exercise including gunnery exercises over the Texas-Gulf area, navigation exercises over the open Gulf, and Electronic Countermeasure’s exercises on the return trip across the south-central U.S.
The men participating were soon to depart for Germany and duty there. It should be noted that the ECM equipment was not radar. It did not emit a signal and then pick up reflected echoes off of an object. Rather, it detected electromagnetic signals that were actually emitted by an object itself. The purpose of this was to detect and locate enemy radar installations. On this aircraft, the #2 monitor consisted of a direction finder with antenna on the lower rear of the aircraft, and the #1 monitor consisted of a direction finder with antennas on each wingtip of the aircraft. The #3 monitor was not involved in the events of July 17, because its range did not include the frequencies involved. The first contact with the unknown object was before 4:00 AM CST. The first two parts of the mission had been completed, and the aircraft was just leaving the airspace over the Gulf of Mexico near Gulfport, Mississippi, when Frank McClure, on the #2 ECM monitor, detected an airborne signal to the right rear of the aircraft, out over the Gulf of Mexico.
The signal was of a type usually confined to ground-based radar installations. It was at 2800 megacycles, a common frequency for S-band search radar. McClure at first thought that his scope must be 180° out of alignment and that he must be picking up a ground-based radar station in Louisiana, which would actually be to the left front of the aircraft. As he watched, the signal moved up the scope, as it would if the scope was 180° out of alignment. However, he was amazed to see that, after it had moved up the scope on the right-hand side of the aircraft, it then crossed the path of the RB-47 and proceeded to move down the scope on the left-hand side. In other words, whatever was emitting the signal flew a ring around the RB-47, which was flying at approximately 500 mph. Even if the scope was 180° out of alignment, the signal source still moved completely around the aircraft, which no ground radar could do. McClure said and did nothing at this time, not mentioning the signal to the other crew members. The signal faded as they flew north.
The RB-47 made a scheduled turn to the west over Jackson, Mississippi and the crew was preparing to begin a series of simulated ECM operations against Air Force ground radar units, when suddenly the pilot, Lewis Chase, saw a light coming in from the left, at approximately the same altitude as the RB-47. At first he thought it was another plane, but it was only a single white light, closing fast. He gave the command to prepare for evasive maneuvers, but the light flashed across from left to right so fast that no such action could have been taken. It then blinked out at a point to the right front of the aircraft. Both Chase and Copilot James McCoid observed this. At this point, approximately 4:10 AM CST, they were approximately over Winnsboro, Louisiana.
Chase told the other crewmembers what he had seen, and McClure now told him about his earlier signal reading. At 4:30 AM, McClure set his scope to detect signals near 3000 mcs again, and he detected a strong signal at the same location in relation to the RB-47 that Chase had last seen the light. He and Provenzano checked the alignment of the #2 monitor by tuning in on known ground radar installations and found it to be in perfect working order. At 4:30 AM, Provenzano tuned his own monitor, #1, to 3000 mcs, and found that his equipment detected a signal at the same location. What’s more, he and McClure found that the signal was staying in the same position, keeping pace with the RB-47, which was still flying at 500 mph. This meant that it was not a signal from a ground-based radar.
The Unknown Companion
By this time they had reached the Duncanville, Texas area. At 4:39, Chase spotted a huge light to the right front of the RB-47 an about 5,000 feet below the aircraft’s 34,500 feet altitude. The weather was perfectly clear. At 4:40, McClure reported two signals, at 40° and 70°. Chase and McCoid reported seeing red lights at those locations. Chase contacted radar Station Utah at Duncanville, Texas and requested permission to abandon his flight plan and pursue the lights, which he received. At 4:48 AM, radar station Utah requested the position of the signals that McClure was receiving, and they immediately confirmed that their radar had detected the objects at the same location. As the RB-47 attempted to pursue, the object appeared to stop suddenly. Chase could see that they were gaining on it, and they over shot it.
At 4:52 it blinked out, and simultaneously vanished from McClure’s scope and the ground radar! Chase put the aircraft into a port turn, and the object suddenly blinked on again, simultaneously reappearing on McClure’s scope and the ground radar at 4:52! They began to close to within 5 miles of the object, when it suddenly dropped to 15,000 feet and then blinked out again, once again vanishing from the scopes and ground radar. At 4:55, Chase radioed Utah radar station that they had to break of pursuit and continue with their scheduled flight plan due to low fuel. At 4:57 McClure picked up the signal again, and at 4:58 Chase made visual contact again. As they headed into Oklahoma, McClure continued to receive a signal, now from the rear of the aircraft, until it finally faded as they neared Oklahoma City. The Director of Intelligence, 55th Strategic Reconnaissance Wing, stated in his report that he had: …no doubt the electronic D/F’s coincided exactly with visual observations by aircraft cmdr numerous times, thus indicating positively the object being the signal source.
What can be detected on ECM direction finding devices, can be seen visually, and can be detected on ordinary ground-based radar all at the same time? What can be detected by all the sensors and can also fly rings around a jet travelling at 500 mph?
Project Bluebook said that the sightings in Dallas – Fort Worth area were an ordinary jet airliner. They couldn’t explain the abrupt, simultaneous disappearance and reappearance of the object from radar screens, ECM scopes, and visual detection. They also couldn’t explain the events that occurred over Mississippi and Louisiana. It’s odd that the Utah radar station couldn’t tell an airliner from an unknown. NOTE: The above image is CGI.

My daughter and I were laying on a hammock watching the sun set at my childhood home where I’ve watched the sun set and stars rise for over 30 years. My daughter said “look mom it’s the first star!” And before even looking I was like “no, it’s too early for the stars to come out.” I poked up and saw what she was talking about – a very bright, unmoving reddish orb about 20 degrees north of where the sun was setting. I asked aloud “could it be mars?” But I knew that wouldn’t be out until later too, and at a much higher degree in the sky (I’ve always loved tracking the stars, so I know generally what’s where any time and place from home). We were both watching it when it zoomed off straight up into the sky, faster than any airplane I’ve ever seen move on that same horizon. I didn’t get a photo of the orb (the whole ‘what is that?” moment lasted Less than 30 seconds). The photos attached show the aftermath of the trail of whatever it was, showing how the trail dissipated over the next 10 minutes or so.

Summary: A man and his father were observing two (2) F-80 jet fighter aircraft coming in for a landing approximately eight miles from Las Vegas Air Force Base at an angle of approximately 45 degrees into the sun and saw an object at an altitude of approximately 1500-2000 feet. They stated that the object was within their vision for approximately twenty-five (25) seconds and that the appearance of the object was pure silver, round “like a balloon” and apparently constructed of solid material, “a metal“. They stated that the object was approximately 25 or 30′ in diameter and that the direction of flight was Northeast by North, and that they observed no tactical movement or maneuver of the object, but that had it been an airplane, it could have been observing the flight of the jet aircraft. They also stated that the motion of the object was smooth; at first slow and then a very rapid acceleration in a horizontal ascent, disappearing over mountains to the east. LAS VEGAS AFB IS NOW NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE. Nellis Air Force Base was named on 30 April 1950, and the 20 May 1950 dedication was attended by Lieutenant Nellis‘ family.[16] By 1 July the Air Force had directed ATC to accelerate Korean War training for a new 95-wing Air Force. The first school opened at Nellis, and ATC redesignated the 3595th Pilot Training Wing (Advanced Single-Engine) as the 3595th Training Wing (Combat Crew).[13] On 17 July 1950, Nellis began a replacement pilot training program to provide 115 FEAF F-51 Mustang pilots and 92 combat-ready F-80 Shooting Star pilots.
I was walking Westward, behind the wooden apartment buildings that were there then, toward the bus stop where I caught the bus to work. The time was just after 6 a.m. and my path took me across an entry to the Eastern end of Edworthy Park. I would stop briefly and look over the sight because it afforded me a great view of the North Calgary skyline nestled at the base of Nose Hill. On the morning this happened I was looking North, toward Nose Hill, as it was something I did most mornings. This fine, clear skied morning my peripheral vision caught something in the sky, the object looked white and was about the size of a golf ball. (Let me segue a moment to say that there newly built apartment complexes on the Western side of the entry to Edworthy Park. The occupants of these apartments, some at least, were there because to the East of the opening was the Western limit of Shaganappi Golf Course.
The Shaganappi Golf Course is in use throughout the year offering Cross Country Skiing as a Winter pastime.) I kept attention on the object because I thought it was a golf ball, as it had apparently appeared from the direction of the newly built apartment blocks. (Hitting golf balls from the balconies was a common occurrence and was severely criticised by the users of the path that runs alongside the riverside, as well it was considered illegal by the railway companies as there was a track at the bottom of the bluff on which I was standing. Golf balls landing in the river were considered as pollution.) The object, however, did not behave in the manner of any golf ball that I had seen anywhere in my most extensive travels. This object, now clearly and orb-like structure with a misty/cloudy emanation located at its’ base, continued past the point where gravity should have affected it, keeping a straight line and increasing in size as it approached.
The object, once close enough identified as a silver/blue colour as though it was trying (unsuccessfully) to blend in with the clear blue sky around it. As I observed the object it increased in size, the small amount of water vapour/steam/cloud still hung around at its’ base. The object appeared to travel from the Northwest on a South-westerly path. There was no sound or any kind of apparent atmospheric disturbance around the object, save the misty cloud at its’ base. The object had increased its’ size to that of a basketball and stopped, hovering silently, directly above the Control Tower at the Calgary Airport. By now I was observing the object in the North-easterly area of my vision. I watched, totally engrossed in the sight I was beholding, a basketball sized object hovering directly above the Calgary Airport Control Tower.
My mind was full of questions, was this some new type of “cloaking device” invented by a foreign or even the Canadian government? Was I observing something of an extraterrestrial nature, or could it be inter-dimensional, or was I just plain losing my mind? These questions are still very real to me. Because what I saw next left my mind reeling. The now basketball object seemed to reduce in size, firstly to that of a softball, and once again it reduced itself to a baseball size, holding the last size for briefly a second before I saw three objects, all of which could be considered “carbon copies” of the original object, down to the little clouds of water vapour at the bases of each sphere disappear silently over the horizon. The objects disappeared over the horizon at the same time, one on a Northern trajectory, the second on a North-easterly trajectory, and finally, the third object disappeared over the horizon in a due East trajectory. In a state of shock and disbelief I continued my journey, and I arrived at the bus stop the same moment as the bus. NOTE: The above image is real but from another case file.
My apartment window faces the main road. In a small town. I got the odor of a skunk, and looked out my window to see there was a large skunk that got hit by a car. I called the owner since I live above the restaurant and asked him if I should remove it so he can bury it at his farm. He gave me the okay, so I headed downstairs. I only claimed 1 witness on here because you wanted information I can’t give. When I got downstairs, I saw a cop sitting in the far end of our parking lot, maybe 200ft. They park there often. I thought, maybe he can put his lights on while we remove the skunk. On my way to his truck, I looked over my left shoulder and saw 4 bright orange spheres.
I walked faster to the cop. When I reached his car, I knocked on the window, and he asked me what’s up… my exact words were first off what the fuck is this. And pointed. He got out of the car and was just as wtf as I was. We just watched these they came from the north, and we watched as they got closer but turn towards the east. No sound. No flashing lights. Just bright orange. Almost like they were on the same railroad track. They went about half mile or so and disappeared 1 by 1 at the same point. I took a crappy video of the last one. After that I told him I’m gonna grab gloves and a trash bag for the skunk. I will wave at him so he could use lights.
When we came out, he was right next to the shop looking up and said they are back, but this time all different directions. I saw 2 of them just vanish over the shop. That was it for then. We got the skunk out of the road. I’m watching for a while. The same 4 lights came back 3 hours later, over the high-school, circling for like 10 sec. And vanished. I called the police to report it as well. The officer reported what he saw to the Sgt. But I’m not or can’t speak for him. NOTE: The above image is real but from another case file.
These are the events that occurred on March 13, 1997 as uncovered by Michael Tanner and myself: 1. FORMATION OF HOVERING ORBS – First observed in a hexagram pattern at about 7:30 p.m. over the Superstition Mountains area east of Phoenix in the characteristic 8+1(or 2) formation of amber orbs and was next seen in two separate arc patterns with “trailing lights” over Gila River area at about 9:50 and again at 10:00 at the southern edge of Phoenix where they were seen by thousands and videotaped by a handful who had camcorders close enough at hand to catch the fleeting minutes of their displays. These amateur videos have immortalized the orb formations, becoming known around the world as The Phoenix Lights.
These are the very same lights that started the controversy over “flares” and that will be taken up in the next chapter. The last appearance of the hovering orbs of the night was made over a now recognized “hot-spot” of Rainbow Valley arrayed in a “V” formation at about 2:00 a.m. on March 14th (and again appeared on January 14, 1998). 2. “V” FORMATION OF FLYING ORBS – First seen leaving the Henderson-Las Vegas area and entering Arizona at high speed, a V-formation of five to seven orbs, variously seen as bright blue-white to a yellow-white, came through the Prescott Valley area at low altitude by 7:50 p.m., turning south, where by 8:28, were videotaped (displaying their characteristic movement within the formation) at the north end of the valley that comprises the Phoenix metro area.
In an apparent slower mode of flight, the orbs appeared at that point as amber in color as the formation moved along Interstate 10 angling toward Tucson after having been visually seen (not on radar) to intersect air traffic coming in on approach to Sky Harbor International Airport. After hovering for several minutes over a car full of witnesses driving north on I-10 at 65 mph, the formation was then picked up by observers in the Oracle area who reported the orbs’ color as red to red-orange before the formation split up, going in separate directions while skirting the edges of the Tucson metropolitan area. At various points independent of this very specific formation, individual orbs were seen to shoot across the metro Phoenix valley with some moving away from and then re-docking with one or more of the Very Large Objects (VLOs) which came through later in the night.
3. CHEVRON VLO (narrow angle) – Observed first as a “V” formation of five white lights moving slowly and silently toward Prescott Valley from the northwest at about 8:15 p.m., the “chevron” was soon clearly seen as a single object. The huge craft made a pivot turn over the witnesses’ home there while the lights shifted into an arc formation while the lights turned red and then it shot off at blinding speed toward Phoenix. At that time the next set of witnesses in central Phoenix saw the object coming directly toward them (estimated at Mach 2 or 3) while still in the “turbo” mode arc configuration, and then, as if to slow back down again, was seen to change back into a “V” whereupon it cruised silently and slowly right over their heads (only 100 to 200 feet above at 10 or 15 mph). The craft was later seen to zigzag through the valley, even changing altitude at various points and hovering for five minutes at the edge of Sky Harbor before proceeding south (right over the Village Lab building) to Interstate-10.
After following I-10 several miles to Picacho Peak, the enormous craft (estimated at 900 feet or more on each leading edge and more than a mile in length to its “taillights”) hovered once again for 10 to 15 minutes until there was no further track of it. According to Michael, this is a possible docking point for this craft and the giant triangle that followed it down I-10 some fifteen minutes later. This same “chevron” or similar craft was seen traveling east to west over north Phoenix at about 10:50 p.m. 4. BOOMERANG VLO (wide angle) – This “V” formation, consisting of five groups of three lights, was confirmed to be a single huge object by various Prescott-area witnesses, being equivalent to a formation of five 747s flying absolutely lock-step in formation toward Phoenix. The craft was seen to make a southerly turn at about 8:25, once again, in the Prescott Valley area, after first approaching from the northwest.
This VLO was later seen (although not clearly enough to identify) by an America West pilot who called Sky Harbor tower wondering what “those nine lights were”, and an amateur astronomer in Phoenix who wrote it off as a formation of conventional airplanes. It is possible that this craft was the same as the giant triangle(wide angle) described below. 5. TRIANGULAR VLO (narrow angle) – This is the one seen by the family in Chandler. It may be the same Triangle or Deltoid craft seen by others as a wide angle craft. It had definite structure complete with panels in a grid along with lights at each of the three corners and a larger center light. Multiple witnesses confirm its northwest to southeast flight path through the eastern part of the valley with some observers seeing one or more orbs leaving and then re-docking with this VLO at various points.
This particular craft was seen to “split in two” by a resident in Gilbert, south of Chandler. 6. BIG BLACK TRIANGLE (wide angle) – By all accounts the largest of the VLOs in the March 13th parade of craft, this gigantic craft was first seen at close range over north Phoenix between 8:30 and 8:45 where the key witnesses (real estate people who subdivided the area) estimated its size to be as much as two miles wide as its wingtip lights fell over two parallel streets that are 1.8 miles apart. Its flight path brought it low to the ground at this point (less than 2,000 feet) where it was seen to not only have dozens of lights along its leading edges, but also a row of windows wherein the silhouettes of “people” were observed! At some point further south, other witnesses reported that they saw nothing but the row of windows with beings (also in silhouette) as all of the lights were turned off at that point.
By the time the VLO was seen over I-10 south of Casa Grande, however, three large lights were seen to be turned on, one at each corner, with smaller lights on along with the leading headlight. The witnesses here reported that it took them one to two minutes to drive under this immense ship while they were driving at 80 mph! They estimated the width of this VLO to be at least two, possibly three miles wide and big enough for a C5-A Galaxy or “Condor” troop transport (the largest conventional aircraft known) to land upon it! The craft had definite structure to it and the family of witnesses described its color as a flat blue-black like the color of a shotgun barrel. They also reported seeing rectangular “panel-like” structures on the underside of this craft. Another large triangle was seen moving just north of Thunderbird Road at around 10:45 p.m., but the configuration of the triangle was different.
That triangle had a V-cut into its trailing edge to give it a very distinctive look. 7. GIANT DISCOID VLO – Witnessed first by a retired airline pilot, his sons and a friend, and seen coming down Scottsdale Road at about 10:20 p.m., this huge circular craft, featuring amber lights around its perimeter (at an estimated one mile in diameter) was seen to make a purposeful turn toward Sky Harbor at about Camelback Road where it also intersected air traffic before disappearing from view over South Mountain. The corroborating central Phoenix witness, also a former pilot (Vietnam) and retired U.S. Marshal, described how the craft both reflected the city lights on its underbelly and blocked out the stars with its upper half, attesting to its being a single craft of spectacular “mile-wide” proportions. This witness also claimed to have videotaped what he saw from the roof of his apartment building, but his tapes mysteriously disappeared in what may amount to a genuine “men-in-black (MIB)” episode.
This craft may also have docked with the “chevron” craft and cloaked in “visual stealth” mode in its earlier pass through Phoenix at about 8:20 to 8:30, but this is purest speculation. The two craft reappeared (or two similar ones) in June and were photographed together at high altitude over Phoenix by the same witnesses with a 35mm camera while also viewing them with binoculars. A separate set of unconnected witnesses also reported the sighting of a huge discoid craft (bigger than Sun Devil Stadium at ASU) hovering at treetop level right off of the west end of the Sky Harbor runways at between 2:00 and 3:00 a.m. one morning about two weeks before March 13th.
8. MILITARY JET/UFO INTERCEPTION ATTEMPTS – We have to date identified four such events (there may be more) that clearly point to the conclusion that the Phoenix Lights UFO incident of March 13, 1997 was certainly no secret “black ops” or classified military exercise as many people would like to believe. A woman who lives next to Luke Air Force Base in the west part of the valley surfaced to report that at least 6 pairs of jets and as many as 8 were “scrambled” out of the base on the night of March 13th, something she could never recall witnessing before. One researcher called Luke AFB and asked someone who was out on the flight line if anything was seen by base personnel, and, unofficially, he answered that “they” were all over the place. The response from Luke spokesmen and their response to FOIA requests indicate that they were receiving phone calls about the lights, but never scrambled any jets to pursue them.
Witnesses say different. Here are the witness reports: A) Crown King at 5:30 p.m. – A formation of 3 huge “Vs” were seen hovering over this pine-topped mountain and were soon joined by a diamond-shaped or triangular craft which appeared “out of thin air” (at first seen as an amber light). As the four objects were hovering together, two jets were seen to come low from the south (from the direction of Luke AFB) at which point the UFOs went into a “stack”, collapsed upon each other while going “into a ball”, then totally disappeared! This would be called a case of high strangeness. Finding nothing there, the two jets circled the Crown King area and returned in the direction of the base. Similar disappearing acts of formations of “Vs”, one over Lake Mead that afternoon and on March 27th over Elmont, New York were reported to Village Labs after seeing the article published in USA Today. B) Central Phoenix at 8:15 p.m.
– A pair of F-15s were dispatched from Luke AFB to attempt an interception of one or more of the Vs approaching or entering the valley at that time. This was reported to NUFORC by a ground crewman at Luke who stated that the aircraft were equipped with gun cameras and that one of the pilots had to be helped out of his plane because he was so shaken by his encounter. A cursory check revealed that Luke AFB no longer has F-15s in its inventory and only has the F-16 aircraft. However, at one time both were maintained at Luke. Could these F-15s have been visiting aircraft? There is still some attempt to locate the civilian witness who corroborated this story. C) North Phoenix at 9:30 p.m. – One of the witnesses who had earlier witnesses with his wife the giant wide-angle triangle reported that when he was later at home, he saw in the distance what appeared to be the return of the triangle, this time with only three lights on, one at each corner.
As the UFO hovered near the Deer Valley Airport in northwest Phoenix, he saw two military jets approach the triangle, with one jet seen to pass one side of it and the other seen to fly up under it, veering down at the last moment to avoid midair collision. D) Luke AFB at 10:00 p.m. – (The original Event 4 – the first aircraft/UFO encounter to be reported). A truck driver who had been watching two unusual amber lights move ahead of him to the south for fully two hours as he drove down I-17 from Camp Verde, reported that as he neared his destination, a materials plant near Luke AFB, the two UFOs seemed to have stopped their movement and were hovering. Once at the plant, while waiting for his truck to be unloaded, he stood on a pile of materials to watch what were now seen as two identical, toy-top like amber orbs (like hot air balloons without hanging baskets) having a white iridescent sheen and a band of red pulsating light, with the nearest to him being one to two miles distant right near the runway at Luke.
Suddenly, two F-16s, followed by a third, “blasted out of Luke with their afterburners on full”, made a steep bank directly over the witness and headed straight for the nearest UFO. At the moment the lead jets were about to close on the UFO, it shot straight up and disappeared “in an instant” as the jets passed right through the very spot where the object had been hovering. The second UFO also vanished, as it was no longer hovering in the northwest.
In April 2011, a friend and I were stargazing on my roof on a dry clear night in New Jersey. We were observing the Lyrids meteor shower that wasn’t producing as many shooting stars as we had hoped, but we stayed up there, intensely focused on the sky to see one every few minutes.
After a couple hours of this, we caught a bright light in our peripherals. We turn around and see what looks like a bright blue-white LED flashlight traveling in the forest behind the house. At first instinct we thought it was the police with a flashlight chasing someone, but then we realized that the light was up in the tree tops, weaving through the canopy. All we could say is “WTF is that” over and over again as it got closer to us.
It was traveling along the direction of the river behind our house and seemed to notice us because as it passed the back of my house, it slowed to a gentle stop then took a 90 degree turn onto the clearing of our property about 40 feet from us coming straight towards us. As if it had noticed us and wanted to check us out.
This is when we got our first really good look at it. It was a perfectly defined glowing sphere of light the size of a basketball with what seemed like churning/flowing plasma inside. Icy blue/white hue emitting absolutely no sound at all. We started screaming at this point.
As it approached, it moved very slowly compared to the pace it had traveling through the trees. It seemed almost cautious in its movement? It’s weird but you could sense some form of intention/intelligence in it’s movement.
We were horrified because we knew nothing could explain what we were seeing. And we weren’t about to stick around and find out by letting it get any closer. We scrambled off the roof and ran inside, hiding under a blanket like scared little children, even though we were in our late teens. We didn’t talk about it much after that because we just couldn’t explain it.
About a year later, one of my neighbors is banging on my door telling me to let him in. He was visibly shaken and told me that him and a friend were down by the river in that same patch of woods and were chased by a floating silent light ball. This freaked me out because I knew he was telling the truth. I had never told him the story of my encounter.
After some more recent research, I discovered that our neighborhood, including my property, is situated on top of the Musconetcong Thrust Fault. I wonder if this fault line contributes to the phenomenon in any way. NOTE: The above image is CGI.

Went into my garden to look at stars 10.40 pm on 15th May, saw very bright light travelling from west then over my head to the east, at 500-1000 ft height, made no sound, and the light was constant, I could not make up any outline as it was like the brightest star. After a couple minutes it was overhead, and I grabbed my iPhone 13 and took a short video. This showed it was no plane or helicopter, more like an orb or craft. A still from my video could just make out possibly several lights from beneath the craft. My belief it is man-made military anti-gravity vehicle, propelled by nuclear energy similar to tr3b. Now they have been known to be using TR10 versions. Extra-terrestrial vehicles are known to travel very much faster 10-20,000 mph. I am sending you a screenshot from my video on my iPhone, and I will examine the video itself, but the dataset is very large I will try and edit.
