Around 9:00 p.m., at roughly 2,000 feet and heading back toward Parafield Airport, Muscat saw something he couldn’t place: six pale orange lights, dead ahead.
At first, he told himself they were fishing boats—an easy mistake from altitude when the horizon smears sea and sky. Then one of the lights darted, quick and deliberate. Boats don’t do that. The formation was airborne—and closing. Muscat radioed Adelaide air traffic control to check his situational picture. The answer came back dry: radar showed only his own aircraft up there.
The six lights appeared to spread as if to give way, then held their line. There were no nav strobes, no anti-collision beacons. As the distance collapsed, the lights resolved into discrete objects flying at staggered heights, clustered close. On the ground beneath them, residents along Semaphore Beach were also watching, phoning police about a string of orange orbs that would pause to let stragglers rejoin before moving on—behavior that, to multiple witnesses, looked coordinated.
Muscat nudged the Arrow, threading the gap. The objects slipped past on either side—about 20 meters from his wings, he estimated. No engine note. No wake turbulence. No radio static. And crucially: no wings, at least none he could discern in the few seconds they were abeam. He put their speed near his own—about 200 km/h. Without a rear window, he lost visual as they went by. Back on the radio, the reply was the same: you’re alone up there.
Four days later, Adelaide’s Sunday Mail carried the story, quoting Muscat—then 37, from Richmond—on the baffling absence of noise, lights, radar returns, or wake, and on how the encounter rattled him only after he learned others on the coast had seen the same orange procession. There was no formal investigation, he was told; no official explanation would be forthcoming. NOTE: The above image is real but from another case file.
The Phobos program was an unmanned space mission consisting of two probes launched by the Soviet Union to study Mars and its moons Phobos and Deimos.
Phobos 2 became a Mars orbiter and returned 38 images with a resolution of up to 40 meters. Both probes suffered from critical failures.
Phobos 1 and 2 were of a new spacecraft design, succeeding the type used in the Venera planetary missions of 1975-1985, last used during the Vega 1 and Vega 2 missions to comet Halley.
Phobos 1 was launched on July 7, 1988 and Phobos 2 on July 12, 1988, each aboard a Proton-K rocket. They each had a mass of 2600 kg (6220 kg with orbital insertion hardware attached).
The program featured co-operation from 14 other nations including Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, France, West Germany, and the United States (who contributed the use of its Deep Space Network for tracking the twin spacecraft).
Phobos ll arrived in January 1989 and entered an orbit around Mars as the first phase towards its real destination, a small Martian moon called Phobos.
The mission was flawless until the craft aligned itself with the moon.
On March 28, 1989 an elliptical object was detected moving towards the satellite seconds before it failed.
All indications were that the elliptical object had attacked the satellite which was now dead and left spinning out of control.
On March 28, 1989 Tass, the official Soviet news agency stated:
“Phobos II failed to communicate with Earth as scheduled after completing an operation yesterday around the Martian moon Phobos. Scientists at mission control have been unable to establish stable radio contact.”
But the next day a top official of the Soviet Space Agency (Glavkosmos) said: “Phobos II is 99% lost for good.”
It is important to note that he stated the entire satellite was gone and not just contact with it.
Of great interest to Ufologists was an image captured either on, or above the surface of Mars. Commonly called the shadow, whatever caused this has never been determined. If it was indeed a craft, it was of immense size.
On March 31, 1989, headlines dispatched by the Moscow correspondents of the European News Agency (EFE) stated:
“Phobos 2 Captured Strange Photos of Mars Before Losing Contact With Its Base.”
Vremya revealed yesterday that the space probe Phobos II, which was orbiting above Mars when Soviet scientists lost contact with it on Monday, had photographed an UNIDENTIFIED OBJECT on the Martian surface seconds before losing contact.”
Scientists described the UNIDENTIFIED OBJECT as a thin ellipse 20 KILOMETERS LONG!
It was further stated that the photos could not be an illusion because it was captured by 2 different color cameras as well as cameras taking infrared shots.
One controller at the Kaliningrad control center concluded that the probe was now spinning out of control. It would seem that something struck or shot the Phobos II Probe.
In the October 19, 1989 issue of Nature Magazine, Soviet scientists concluded that the craft could be spinning because it was impacted.
It has long been rumored that Mars and its moon Phobos are alien colonies. The surface of Mars is covered with strange shapes/buildings that do not appear to be natural such as the pyramids, square buildings, runways, etc.
One structure shows the face of a man with a helmet looking into space. It can be seen at the National Space Science Data Center, Viking photo with catalog number 76-A-593/17384 Titled “HEAD.”
Another photo is 070-A-13. There are now eleven Viking photographs (and growing) of this obviously intelligently constructed monument on the surface of Mars.
The “HEAD” and other artificial features such as the pyramids were combined by electrical engineer and imaging specialist Vincent DiPietro and a Lockheed computer scientist.
The composite images seemed to show that the features on the surface of Mars had been artificially sculpted… Just maybe, WE ARE NOT ALONE!

We live a few blocks from the beach on a barrier island outside of Charleston. Around midnight, several nights a week, I spend an hour or so on our third floor deck listening to the ocean, looking for shooting stars and satellites (wondering about UFO’s). On January 17, 2003, at 12:30 AM, I saw a very bright (brighter than the brightest star/planet) orange light in the sky moving from the shore, inland WNW. It appeared lower than a plane when it is on approach and holding. Behind it was a jet. We live near an Air Force base and often see airplanes traveling in tandem, so I assumed it were a pair of Air Force jets although an object moving across the sky with nothing visible but a bright orange light looked quite peculiar. Less than a minute passed when I realized I was observing a jet in pursuit of the orange light. The two traveled back and forth and up and down, with the plane clearly following whatever the orange light was doing. It really looked like a rather slow chase. They were both moving at about the same speed of an airplane on approach. After about six minutes, the plane followed the orange light SE and out of my view. On 23 January at the same time of night, my boyfriend and I saw the same orange light in the sky moving inland from the ocean. It was a cloudy night and it disappeared behind some clouds in uunder two minutes. There were no airplanes in pursuit. NOTE: The above image is real but from another case file.
I was sky watching, scanning the distant pastures of the Buckland area through the powerful lens of my Nikon P900 Camera. I was searching the horizon for anything out of the ordinary when an unexpected flash of motion stopped me in my tracks and grabbed my full attention. Hovering slowly above the furthest field was a peculiar, stark-white, flying-saucer-shaped craft, crowned with a shifting, dark structure atop its dome.
I managed to quickly frame the anomaly and capture it in just two photographs before it vanished into thin air, leaving nothing behind in the empty sky. Having witnessed countless strange, unexplainable phenomena across this region of Devon, I’ve come to realize these sightings are a frequent occurrence—a reality that remains endlessly fascinating to me. The sighting occurred just before 11am.. on Friday, September 19, 1952 in North Yorkshire, England, when Lieutenant John W. Kilburn and at least four other aircrew personnel on the ground observed a Gloster Meteor (plane) approach the RAF Topcliffe airbase from the East. The aircrew “suddenly noticed a white object in the sky at a height between ten and twenty thousand feet some five miles astern of the Meteor.”
“The object was silver in color and circular in shape, it appeared to be traveling at a much slower speed than the Meteor, but was on a similar course. It maintained the slow forward speed for a few seconds before commencing to descend, swinging in a pendular motion during descent, similar to a falling sycamore leaf. This was at first thought to be a parachute or engine cowling. The Meteor, meanwhile, turned towards [unreadable] and the object, while continuing its descent, appeared to follow suit.”
“After a further few seconds, the object stopped its pendulous motion and its descent, and began to rotate about its own axis. Suddenly, it accelerated at an incredible speed towards the west, turning onto a south-easterly heading before disappearing.”
“All of this occurred in a matter of fifteen to twenty seconds. The acceleration was in excess of that of a shooting star. I have never seen such a phenomenon before. The movements of the object were not identifiable with anything I have seen in the air and the rate of acceleration was unbelievable.” This incident was documented in a front page headline in the September 20, 1952 edition of the Yorkshire Evening Press. UFO object was spotted after midnight, while a B-29 bomber from the 468th United States Air Force Bomb Group, was returning from a bombing mission somewhere in Southeast Asia, targeting Japanese forces. The UFO was described as having “board wings,” vibrating, and having an intense red or orange color.
The UFO object followed the B-29 bomber for eight minutes at a constant distance of about 500 yards, while the plane was flying at 14,000 feet. After the pilot performed evasive maneuvers, the object flew away at a 90-degree angle, accelerating quickly.
The 468th was a United States Army Air Forces unit that flew B-29 Superfortress bombers in the China-Burma-India and Pacific theaters.
In August 1944, the group was operating from bases in India and China, striking Japanese targets in Southeast Asia and Japan itself. The day after the UFO sighting, the group participated in a raid on the iron and steel works at Yawata, Japan.
Throughout 1944, Allied pilots in both Europe and the Pacific reported seeing unexplained glowing UFO orbs and lights following their aircraft. Military intelligence investigated the sightings, suspecting they might be secret German or Japanese weapons. However, Axis pilots also reported seeing similar UFO objects. No conventional explanation, such as enemy aircraft or weather phenomena, could consistently account for the strange UFO objects. The mystery was never officially resolved during the war. Engulfed in the blackness of a late summer night, a teenage Navy recruit walked down the quiet country highway. Suddenly, a huge object loomed above him. Throwing himself to the ground to avoid being hit, he huddled against a stone wall. The blood drained from his face.
The time was around 2 a.m. The date was Sept. 3, 1965. Thus began the “Incident at Exeter,” a series of sightings officially qualified as a legitimate visit from an unidentified flying object.
In September and October 1965, several sightings in New Hampshire were carefully investigated and documented by local and federal offices.
The encounters that night took special precedence over other UFO sightings because of the credibility of Exeter police officers Eugene Bertrand and David Hunt, as well as Reginald “Scratch” Toland, who was dispatcher and supervising officer when the shaken teenager, Norman Muscarello, came to the police station claiming he had encountered a UFO.
A similar report substantiated his story. Earlier, Bertrand had come upon a lone woman parked on the side of Route 101 near an overpass two miles outside Exeter.
She said a huge, silent, red and brilliantly glowing airborne object had chased her from the town of Epping about 12 miles away. It had been only a few feet from her car before it departed at a tremendous speed and disappeared.
Bertrand saw nothing but a bright star and sent her home. Toland also spoke to the woman, who told him she had been chased by the “low-flying, large, round object with flashing red lights.”
An hour later, Bertrand received a call from Toland to report back to the station immediately because “a kid had come in who had seen a UFO.” The police officer picked up Muscarello at the station.
The teen led him back to the site where he’d seen the craft. After sitting in the parked cruiser for several minutes, Bertrand radioed the dispatcher to say they saw nothing unusual.
Bertrand, instructed to check out the field before heading back, proceeded to do so with Muscarello.
Horses in a nearby barn began to kick and whinny. Dogs in the neighborhood began to howl.
Muscarello shouted, “Look out, here it comes!” and they watched as something luminous rose from behind tall evergreens.
The aircraft, about 100 feet away, silently sped so close to Bertrand that he dropped to the ground and drew his service weapon.
“There was this huge, dark object as big as that barn over there with red flashing lights on it,” Bertrand later told an investigator. “It barely cleared that tree right there, and it was moving back and forth… It seemed to tilt and come right at us. Norman told me later that I was yelling, ‘I’ll shoot it! I’ll shoot it!’ I did drop on one knee and drew my service revolver, but I didn’t shoot.”
Bertrand, dragged Muscarello, frozen with fear, back to the cruiser.
From the car, the men saw no tail, no wings and heard no sound.
Already en route, Hunt arrived within minutes and saw the UFO as it “floated, wobbled and did things that no plane could do” before it darted away toward Hampton. They returned to the station to write their report.
Toland received a call shortly after from a Hampton telephone operator who said that a distressed motorist attempted to contact the police from a pay phone. He yelled at the operator, saying he was being chased by a flying saucer that came right at him and that it was still out there. He was then disconnected.
A Hampton Police Department’s blotter entry for that night reads: “September 3, 1965: 3 a.m. Exeter Police Department reports unidentified flying object in that area. Units 2, 4 and Pease Air Force alerted. At 3:17 a.m., received a call from Exeter operator and Officer Toland. Advised that a male subject called and asked for police department, further stating that call was in re: a large unidentified flying object, but call was cut off. Call received from a Hampton pay phone, location unknown.”
The official report to Project Blue Book from the director of administrative services of the Pease Air Force Base at Portsmouth concluded with this paragraph by the investigator: “At this time, have been unable to arrive at a probable cause of this sighting. The three observers seem to be stable, reliable persons, especially the two patrolmen. I viewed the area and found nothing in the area that could be the probable cause.”
Project Blue Book is a compilation by the U.S. government to repute the existence of extraterrestrial objects.
Peter Geremia, New Hampshire state director of the Mutual Unidentified Flying Object Network Inc., noted: “The police officers involved put their careers on the line. They courageously came forward and stated what they saw at a time when witnesses were not allowed any credibility on the subject.”
Geremia, who has appeared on national media programs including “Unsolved Mysteries,” presented chronological depiction of what happened the night of the Incident at Exeter.
His “decent rendition of what happened” matches the series of events starting with Muscarello being frightened by a UFO.
Bertrand, although an Air Force veteran, was never able to put a name to the UFO.
“What do you call a UFO? Was it from another planet? We just couldn’t identify it,” he noted.
He meticulously described it as a “huge, shapeless object with five sequentially pulsating-from-left-to-right bright red lights, so bright you couldn’t look at it.”
The Pentagon repeatedly denied the sightings, but the incident was read into the congressional record in April 1966 by Raymond Fowler, representative of the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena in Washington. It was the first open congressional hearing on UFOs.
Fowler, internationally renowned author of 11 books about UFOs, has studied UFO reports for decades.
In a recent interview, he shared his thoughts on the Exeter incident and the stories that followed.
“The second-hand speculation stories were varied and perhaps hypothesized,” Fowler said. “Muscarello’s mother purportedly saw confidential drawings of a UFO landing site pattern that was handcuffed to an Air Force investigator who visited her house. The neighboring farmer was instructed by the Air Force to plow under landing marks in his field.
“The hens in the neighborhood stopped laying eggs. The air-base intelligence officer was seen buying up all the newspapers carrying stories about Sept. 3. A base commander was seen in civilian clothes rather than uniform while investigating,” he related.
Then, there was the irrefutable. “There were major similarities with these area sightings that conform to documented cases. UFOs tend to be seen near swamps, major power lines or nuclear sources. Muscarello noticed the object coming from over a line of trees behind which were major power lines. There was a swamp in the area. Pease and the Navy yard both had nuclear power entities. And, when a Pease Air Force base commander attempted to disprove it was a UFO by simulating the incident by turning on runway lights, he failed,” noted Fowler.
Fowler, now retired from active investigation, noted in a letter to the United States Air Force, “The UFO sighted by Norman Muscarello was identical to the UFO seen later by Muscarello, Bertrand and Hunt.
“There is no question in my mind that the same or similar object was involved in both of these particular sightings.
“Since I did not interview the unnamed woman, I am not certain of the details… but according to Officer Bertrand, the object… was very similar to the UFO they sighted later… another witness, a male motorist, also sighted a similar object…”
Because of the viability of the testimonies of those involved on the night of Sept. 3, 1965, and because of Fowler’s testimony into the Congressional Record in April 1966, the United States Air Force admitted that indeed, the Incident at Exeter involved an unidentified flying object. Approx 12:47pm a chrome oval-shaped craft flew inland beneath our commercial airliner. Had no discernible windows or propulsion.
I was seated in 17F of Hawaiian Air flight #HA1067. The weather conditions was sunny with no clouds. Shortly after takeoff at approximately 1000′ to 1500′ approaching the Kona coast, our aircraft was starting to gradually bank right out toward the coast. I was looking out of my starboard window at the algae farms below when I spotted a chrome oval-shaped object below us. It was oval and on its “side” as it was not vertical. It was cruising inland, in a straight line, about the same speed as our aircraft at about half the distance between our aircraft and the coast below. I could see it quite well as there weren’t any atmospheric clouds or particles between us. It was almost directly below our aircraft. I saw no apparent form of propulsion nor windows nor any wings/fins on it. I believe i only saw this object about 5-6 seconds, not long enough to pull out my mobile phone to take photo of it. Back in November 1989, my girlfriend Katie Francis, and her great aunt Janice had a stunning close encounter with a UFO while crossing the Brecon Beacons.
It is something that even after all these year they remember quite vividly. After interviewing them both about the incident I can now reveal to you what occurred.
At the time of the sighting, Katie was eleven years old and her brother Tim was five. They had been on holiday visiting Janice at Leamington Spa. She was driving them home to Neath in South West Wales. Their journey took them across the Brecon Beacons moor.
It was early evening and quite dark in the sky, but the moorland was still partially visible. The weather was clear and there was very little cloud.
The road was deserted and there were no other cars on it. Katie was sitting on the back seat next to her brother and staring out of the back window of the car.
She noticed in the sky an object with a row of coloured lights along it. The object was quite far away and high up. There were too many lights along it to be a normal aircraft.
They were flashing and changing colours, mostly white and red, but some other colours too. The object was moving slowly across the sky. Katie alerted her great aunt to the object, and she also glanced back at it. The object seemed to keep changing position in the sky. It was there one minute, gone the next, and it kept reappearing in different places in relation to the moving car.
Janice was trying to scare Katie and Tim about the object, saying it was going to come and get them. Suddenly, the object appeared much closer to the car and much lower in the sky, Katie estimates under 100 foot up. Both Katie and Janice could now clearly see that the lights were in a curved line as if along the edge of a large disc shaped object, however the main body of the object could not be seen.
Katie estimates that it was at least twice as big as a house. It was behind and to the right of the car hovering in the sky. At this point Janice decided to stop to get a photograph of the object as she was very interested in what it could be. She pulled up at the side of the road and got out. She went round to the back of the car and opened the boot to get her camera.
The object appeared to now be stationary and it was completely silent. Katie started to panic at this point and was screaming at Janice to get back in the car. Janice was also a little unnerved by the object, but mostly fascinated by it. She got the camera out but couldn’t work out how to use the night setting on it.
Because of this, and the fact that Katie was very frightened, she decided to get back in the car and continue driving. After this. neither witness looked back to see if the object was still following them so it was not seen again.
Janice also informed me of something else unusual which occurred. Shortly after they continued on their journey, there was suddenly a huge glow of bluish-white light that lit up the hills in front of the car. The glow lasted for up to ten seconds before dying away. Janice felt it was linked to the object which they had seen but because Katie was frightened she did not tell her about it.
On the night of November 2, 1957, going into the early hours of November 3, an extraordinary series of encounters unfolded on the highways around Levelland, Texas. Between roughly 11:00 PM and 1:30 AM, at least eight to ten separate motorists and law enforcement officers around Levelland reported coming upon a bizarre luminous object at close range – and each time, their vehicle’s engine sputtered or died, and the lights went out[2][3]. The first report came from Pedro Saucedo, a farm worker driving with a friend on Route 116 about four miles west of Levelland. Around 11:00 PM, Saucedo saw a sudden flash of light in a nearby field and then a large, blazing object rose up and rushed toward his truck. According to Saucedo’s signed statement, “it put my truck motor out and lights. Then I stopped, got out, and took a look, but it was so rapid and [gave off]some heat that I had to hit the ground… it looked like a torpedo, about 200 feet long”. He reported that as the fiery object zoomed away into the night, the truck’s headlights came back on by themselves and he was able to restart the engine. Deeply shaken, Saucedo drove to the nearest town (Whiteface) to telephone the police in Levelland.
About an hour later, around midnight, another motorist (Jim Wheeler) was driving east of Levelland when he encountered a brilliant egg-shaped object, roughly 200 feet long, sitting on the road and blocking his path. As Wheeler approached, his car engine died and his headlights went out, plunging him into darkness. He got out on foot, at which point the glowing object rose vertically and sped away, its lights extinguishing as it departed. The moment the UFO vanished, Wheeler’s car lights and engine came back to life on their own, just as in the Saucedo incident. NOTE: The above image is C.G.I.

He was an aerospace engineer, a trained astronaut and a Spacecraft Operator at the Kennedy Space Center. During his time at NASA, Clark became friends with Astronaut James Irwin who was the Lunar Module Pilot during the Apollo 15 Mission in 1971. Below is some of what James Irwin told Clark about things he saw on the Moon.
“Yes, Dave (Apollo 15 commander) and I observed several small whitish or metallic objects flying overhead. . . Whatever those things were, they had intelligence; performing tight angular dives and port and starboard sweeps above us. . . We heard no sound of thrust . . . They were very fast critters.”
“Yes, there were what we called ‘lunar tracks’ on the surface . . . just like vehicle tracks, which was very strange because we had not been traveling there in the Lunar Rover before we made this visit. They were not made by any other known craft of the USA or the USSR, for that matter. . . It almost appeared as exploratory mining activities into the lunar surface with a few what appeared as efforts of mine diggings, so to speak.”
“I also briefly saw what appeared to be as ‘structures’ in the far distance above and beyond the mountains of Hadley Rill . . . Structures that appeared like glass or crystalline; high above the lunar horizon. I had a good view of whatever it was or is.”
Clark explained that Irwin had taken 15 photos of the craft and structures he saw on the Moon, but NASA or the Department of Defense wouldn’t allow him to see his own photos.
“I was able to briefly view at least one of those photos supposedly showing those strange crystal structures and to my complete amazement, none of those structures was shown on that specific photo. It was as if all on the horizon was erased or replaced.”
UFO sightings observed by many witnesses are typically the best, most noteworthy cases, as the multiple witnesses’ testimony provides corroborating evidence. Although most sightings are not mass sightings, there are several high-quality cases involving many credible witnesses, and some of these mass sightings paint the best picture showing the mysterious reality of UFOs. One such sighting occurred in 1976 in the Canary Islands, a Spanish archipelago located just off the northwest coast of Africa.

In the mid-1990s, philanthropist Laurance Rockefeller financed a report that provided an overview of major UFO events and the evidence surrounding the UFO phenomenon. This report was intended to educate government officials about UFOs, and as such, it was sent to the White House and members of the U.S. Congress. The report, titled “Unidentified Flying Objects Briefing Document: The Best Available Evidence,” was drafted by Don Berliner, an aviation journalist and long-time ufologist. UFO journalist Antonio Huneeus and Marie Galbraith, the wife of investment banker Evan Galbraith (who was the U.S. ambassador to France during the Reagan administration, the Republican candidate for New York governor in 1994, and the chairman of William Buckley’s political magazine, National Review) also participated in the creation of this document. One of the incredible cases presented in the document is the mass UFO sighting that took place in the Canary Islands.
According to newspaper headlines, thousands of residents of the Canary Islands observed an unidentified luminous phenomenon on the night of June 22, 1976. The event was reported by witnesses on at least three different islands. The Spanish Air Force thoroughly investigated the incident. Although the files associated with this investigation were declassified in 1994, they had already been leaked back in 1976. For whatever reason, the classified air force reports were given to journalist Juan José Benítez in October 1976 by an air force general. Benítez included these in his book, UFOs: Official Documents of the Spanish Government.
Records indicate that the commanding general of the Spanish Air Force’s Canary Islands Air Zone assigned an investigative adjutant to the case on June 25, 1976. Depositions were taken of at least fourteen witnesses. The air force divided these witnesses into four categories, ranking them from most credible to least credible. People found to be mentally challenged, illiterate, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol were put into the very unreliable category, while people like astronomers, pilots, and aeronautical engineers were placed in the most credible category. The sighting reports, like the witnesses, were grouped into four levels to evaluate the quality and quantity of evidence for each.
The witness depositions and a review of the evidence allowed the investigative adjutant to piece together what transpired on June 22, 1976. Based on his report, the first UFO sighting of the night occurred at 9:27 p.m. The unidentified object was observed by the entire crew of the Spanish Navy vessel, the Atrevida, which at the time, was located near the coast of Fuerteventura. According to the Atrevida’s captain, he and his crew observed “an intense yellowish-blue light” moving from the island’s shore towards the ship. They initially assumed the object was an aircraft with active landing lights, but the UFO stopped and hovered in the sky. The captain further described that the light “went out and a luminous beam from it began to rotate. It remained like this for approximately two minutes. Then an intense great halo of yellowish and bluish light developed, and remained in the same position for 40 minutes, even though the original phenomenon was no longer visible.”

30-50′ diameter light burnt orange sphere which came from the west/southwest over my farm, flew for 20-30 miles before disappearing.
At approximately 12:30pm on 3/15/2024 I was sitting on my couch speaking to my dad on the phone when plain as day in a completely unobstructed view a 30-50 foot diameter round object that was a light burnt orange color, approximately 200-300′ up in the air, flew from the back of my property, from the S/SW direction into my view looking South. It was heading North/Northeast. It was moving about 50 MPH. It was plain as day in a cloud free sky flying across the wide open 60 acre field directly across the road from me. I immediately went outside to video it from my Samsung Galaxy S21+ phone; while describing what i was seeing to my dad.
I noticed that it was a light burnt orange color, but at times would appear bright white and then back to its original color. I’m not sure if it was changing colors or if it was the sun reflecting off of it. It was flying in a upward angled trajectory increasing elevation as it flew heading North to Northeast. Once it was about 7-8 miles away from me it just disappeared; however just a few seconds later it reappeared a good mile or more to the left of its original flight path but was still heading in the same original direction. I was able to observe it for another minute or so before it was out of my view. I was the only one home at the time. I came back inside and was excited to send the video I just took to my dad. However when I opened my photo gallery there was no video there. I went back into my camera app, because I started panicking that I didn’t have the video.
I opened the camera app only to see a note saying “Video Cannot Be Recorded While Speaking On The Phone”. After finishing my phone call with my parents, I’m 57 & my parents are 74 & 75 years old, I contacted the local police departments Non-emergency line, they then directed me to the County Sheriff’s department and I made a report with them. I then called our local news station in hopes that someone had also seen it and reported it. The news station told me his hands were tied on stuff like this & that he was in the same boat as I am in reporting it. I then contact the airport to see if they had any reports of it. The airport executive office connected me to the tower control, I reported it to them. The control tower told me to contact you guys at the National UFO Reporting Center. I contacted by phone the N.U.F.O.R.C. and reported what I saw & they asked me to file a written report; which I’m now doing. It was the most thrilling & spectacular experience I’ve ever had the pleasure of viewing!
Of all the reports of UFO sightings, some of the most intriguing ones are those which come in flaps, or waves, have multiple witnesses, and photographs.
One of the most celebrated cases of this type was the Belgian flap which began in November of 1989.
The events of November 29 would be documented by no less than thirty different groups of witnesses, and three separate groups of police officers. All of the reports described a large object flying at low altitude. The craft was of a flat, triangular shape, with lights underneath.
This giant craft made not a sound as it slowly and fearlessly moved across the landscape of Belgium. There was free sharing of information as the Belgian populace tracked this craft as it moved from the town of Liege to the border of the Netherlands and Germany.
This first startling sighting would evolve into a wave over the next several months. On two occasions, a pair of F-16 fighters chased the mysterious object, but to no avail.
On March 30, 1990, a frantic call to military headquarters came from a Belgian national police Captain.
He marveled at a giant triangle passing over and simultaneously two ground radar stations were reporting an object of unknown origin on their screens.
One of these bases was NATO controlled near the city of Glons, southeast of Brussels.
After contacting other radar facilities, they learned that at least four other stations were also reporting the object on their screens. The object was moving across their screens slowly, and failed to send a transponder signal to identify itself.
Two F-16s were ordered to intercept and identify this phenomenon, and one of the jet’s radars locked the object in. It appeared as a small diamond on the pilot’s screen.
The pilot reported that only a few seconds after locking on the target, the object began to pick up speed, quickly moving out of radar range.
An hour long chase ensued, during which time the F-16s picked up the strange craft’s signal two additional times, only to see it fade from view.
The triangular craft seemed to be playing a cat and mouse game, and finally was lost in the night lights of Brussels.
The pilots of the fighters reported that the UFO had made maneuvers at speeds beyond the capability of their technology, and once the radar showed the craft drop from 10,000 to 500 feet in 5 seconds!
The extraordinary sightings continued for months as the triangular invader was witnessed more than 1,000 times, both day and night. The object dipped low enough to easily be seen with the naked eye, and the event became one of the biggest stories in the Belgian media.
Another unusual occurrence associated with the Belgian flap was the inability to take a clear photograph of it. Many observers had their cameras ready, and took what they thought would be clear images, but when the film was developed, the image was blurred, and the craft’s outline was vague at best.
This anomaly was addressed by physics professor Auguste Meessen, who was employed by the Catholic University at Louvin. Meessen’s investigation produced a theory that infrared light must be the reason that almost all the images were unclear. To put his theory to test, he exposed film to infrared, then photographed objects in regular light. The results were the same as the photographs of the triangle-shaped UFO.
One good image was finally captured on video tape in April 1990. This image showed the underbelly of the craft with spotlights on the three corners. A still frame from this tape has been seen worldwide, and is a classic UFO photograph.
The Belgium wave has obtained classic status in UFO lore. With over 1,000 witnesses, confirmed radar sightings, plane radar lock-ins, and military confirmations, the fact that an unknown craft moved across the country of Belgium cannot be denied.
The case is also important for its unique information sharing. Civilian and Military officials were forthcoming with the reports, and set a model for others to follow in their pursuit to uncover the mystery behind the UFO enigma.

While driving down Route 100 towards Ellicott City, MD, as the passenger at approximately 5:40 am on Christmas Eve, I observed a triangular-shaped craft with three red lights, one on each point, hovering about 25 ft above the ground. At first it seemed to appear out of nowhere in front of us headed toward my vehicle while driving down the hwy, looked to pull up to go above us and that’s when I saw it, the lights etc … The material seemed to reflect the street lights. The object was silent and roughly the size of two SUVs. Initially, it appeared solid, but as it passed behind me, I saw a translucent or see-through triangular center section for a brief moment… which to be honest confused me.. that part I’ve been second guessing… Everything else is absolute fact.
At the time, there was significant police activity on the other side of the road, including a drone, but the object I saw 1000 % was not the drone – it was much larger and completely silent with no obvious sign of propulsion- no blades, propellers etc … I’m reporting this as it was a clear, unusual sighting that my driver, who was distracted by the police activity, did not see… Which is literally making me feel crazy because it was that large and obvious.. the equivalent to a stealth bomber flying right at your vehicle and then going above you, and continuing down the Rd till it was out of sight. Except it was a perfect triangle, silent etc……. but I have never seen anything like this before. I practically jumped into the windshield out of pure shock and excitement and when I yelled the driver looked at me and double downed looking at the cops as if that’s what I was referring to. Was incredible. I saw it for a good 3 Mississippi’s while it was going above me, and for about 7-8 Mississippi’s from start to finish untill it was out of sight. Went to JC Penney with my father and younger brother it was in Governor prince boulevard I was 9 brother 7 my dad wanted to get film for his Polaroid camera we all went inside my dad being very strict British man did not like us talking at the counter while he was doing business and we were sent out to the car to wait which we did while sitting in car waiting we saw a object come over shops into our view with beautiful lights seemed to be glowing against the dark sky it was about dusk to dark 7 pm I guess I was in front seat of the car and it came closer only about 300 feet above the shops but came over towards us it was crazy. I was young and all I could think of was the Delaware jacees were putting on some kind of show for me and my brother it got to about 2 car lengths to the left of our car and now was only about 80 feet above the ground. It was so close to us but completely silent I was not afraid as I thought it was being done by my dad and Jaycees the stared at it in Awe because the lights were so pretty I felt no fear it stayed there for a good 5 or six min like it was putting on a light show hovering silently besides a few vacuum sounds is how I can describe it it was about 20 feet in diameter and 40 circumference and the lights seemed to be going around the middle bottom part like all red lights then all the orange then all the blue giving the illusion of rotating being so close it appeared to be made of a pearlescent metal you could not see inside looked like metal with tiny holes so they could see out maybe but we could not see in I had no fear just thought it was beautiful, as my father got ready to come out of the store it had taken off at a extremely high speed and reached way up in the sky very fast seconds we started yelling follow that thing by then it was not.
Visible to him he states that he heard a very loud boom like a car backfiring when he exited the store when we got home my father being a artist had us both draw what we saw in separate room both drawings were almost identical the next day In The newspaper it said strange lights seen over Delaware bay which was on the other side of the shopping center this is very close to the old Dupont company on Gov. Prince boulevard Delaware by claymont we my family and I spoke of it sometimes but through those years people would not believe it so we kept it to ourselves mostly my brother went on to be retired from the Air force and once I tried to speak to him about it over the computer but he was afraid to speak on there because of his job only In person would be talk of it my father has the drawings and the newspaper article about strange light seen above bay but it wasnt over the bay it was in shopping center about 400 ft from the bay yes 51 years but needed to tell someone as I am 63 now never again did I ever see anything like it since but moved to Dover area near the airbase but wished i could see it again i felt no fear like they were deliberately entertaining us so we wouldn’t be afraid back in 73 we did not have the technology to hover in place for a good 5 minutes completely silent still can’t and go so fast with a sonic boom sound thought it was time to leave this information. Two sets of witnesses observed a dark, sharply outlined object in the sky off of Point Mugu in Southern California. Observed from the ground and a Lockheed test aircraft, both parties provide remarkably consistent accounts of the UFO.
On Wednesday, December 16th, 1953 between 5:00 PM and 5:05 PM, two sets of witnesses, in different locations, but connected by the fact they both worked for the Lockheed Aircraft Corporation, observed an unidentified object in the sky near Point Mugu, North of Los Angeles, California. The credibility and exactitude of these witnesses, along with their knowledge of aerospace engineering, flight, and weather phenomena, make this incident noteworthy.
The first set of witnesses, Clarence L. Johnson and Althea Louise Johnson, observed the object from their ranch, which was sited on a hilltop approximately three miles West of Agoura, California. Mr. Johnson, also known as Kelly Johnson, was a renowned aeronautical and systems engineer who worked for the Lockheed Aircraft Corporation for 50 years. Among his many accolades and accomplishments, he was the first team leader of the Lockheed Skunk Works, and took part in the design of the Lockheed U-2 and SR-71 Blackbird.
A detailed account of Kelly Johnson’s sighting, written on Lockheed letterhead, was submitted, along with other witness accounts of the same object, to Project Blue Book. Interestingly, the Project Blue Book file simply concludes this object was a “Lenticular Cloud.” Mr. Johnson’s letter is specific, economical, and direct in its language. He describes how, at first, he thinks the object is a black cloud, and then goes on postulate that it may be an intense smoke trail or lenticular cloud. He continues: “When it did not move or disintegrate, I asked my wife to get me our eight-power binoculars, so I would not have to take my eyes off the object, which by now I had recognized as a so-called “saucer”. As soon as I was given the glasses, I ran outside and started to focus the glasses on the object, which was now moving fast on a heading between 240 and 260. When I got the glasses focused on the object, it was already moving behind the first layer of haze. I gathered its speed was very high, because of the rate of foreshortening of its major axis. The object, even in the glasses, appeared black and distinct, but I could make out no detail, as I was looking toward the setting sun, which was, of course, below the horizon at the time.”
“In 90 seconds from the time it started to move, the object had completely disappeared, in a long shallow climb on the heading noted. The clouds were coming onshore, in a direction of travel opposite to that of the object. The time in which my wife and I studied this object was between 5:00 and 5:05. The object, which had hovered stationary for at least three minutes, appeared to be very large but, not knowing its distance from me, I could not estimate its dimensions. At all times, the object appeared as an ellipse, with a finesse [sic.] ratio105 of the larger axis to the minor one of about 7 or 10 to 1. I estimated the position of the object to be roughly over Point Mugu, which lies on a bearing about 255 from my ranch.”
The next morning, December 17th, Kelly Johnson went to work and discovered that a group of Lockheed employees flying in a Lockheed WV-2 (also known as a Constellation) – observed the same object, at the same time, from a different vantage point to the South and West of Kelly and Althea Johnson’s ranch location near Agoura, California.
In the summer of 1950, Paul was in the U.S. Army and working at Camp Wallace on the James River in Virginia. One day, for reasons he no longer can recall, he went to Camp Peary near Williamsburg, Virginia. While there, he recognized an MP guarding a bunker; they had served in Guam together.
“I went down and asked him what he was guarding,” says Paul, “and he said I can’t show you. So I kept talking to him and he said, ‘All right, I’ll give you a brief look at it.’ So he opened the door.”
Behind the door, just 15 to 20 feet from him, was an alien standing in a small cage with a base that was only three to four feet square. The alien was about 4 ½ feet tall and only wearing briefs.
What caught Paul’s eye the most was the alien’s skin color which he described as “an old orange-gray, dead-looking color.” Despite the color, Paul assured us it was alive and seemed to be aware of his presence.
Though smaller and skinnier, Paul found the alien’s features remarkably human-like. The shape of the head, ears, eyes, nose, chest, arms and legs were all similar to those of a human being. He did say the alien was almost bald with just a little bit of hair. He also noticed the alien’s fingers were longer than those of a human being.
After viewing the alien for several minutes, Paul left the bunker. He recalls the guard saying “that was the fifth one from Roswell” and “they were taking it up north somewhere.” In an earlier interview, Paul explained that the alien was transported from Roswell, New Mexico to Fort Hood, Texas before arriving at Camp Peary, Virginia. “At that time,” Paul adds, “Camp Peary was the most secret place that we had in America. I didn’t know much because I didn’t stay there long, but I know you had to have top secret (clearance) to get in.”
When Paul Epley finally talked publically about some of his secret military activities, his story ended up in a small North Carolina newspaper. Guess what? Two weeks later, two FBI men showed up where he was working and said, “If you don’t keep your mouth shut, we’ll shut it.”
That was in the 1990s, but today Paul no longer cares if they kill him. He’s 80 years old, fighting cancer and wants to get three things off his conscience. On August 8, 2010, two of us from the Sky Ship website and two men with video cameras were invited to his home to record stories that have haunted him nearly his entire life. We also were given access to documents and an earlier video that originally weren’t to be released until after his death.
Jake Barber UFO Egg Recovery – Released to Public in 2024
Jake Barber, worked for the United States Air Force Special Operations, the United States Defense Department, and the United States Intelligence Community for over 30 years, since the 1990’s, in an official and unofficial capacity.
Jake Barber alleges that he was involved in the recovery of an egg-shaped alien craft as the pilot of a military helicopter, while he was working for a secret UFO retrieval program for the United States Government. Jake piloted the helicopter that retrieved the UFO craft and helped leak this secret retrieval footage.
Jake describes the UFO object thus, “I saw an egg, a white egg. Just visually looking at the object on the ground, you could tell that it was extraordinary and anomalous. It was not human. It’s inconsistent with anything I’d ever seen before. I can also tell you that the reaction by my team, we all knew we were dealing with something extraordinary.”
