Hi Ken: It was another day, and I was outside partaking in my favorite pastime – sky-watching, scanning the heavens in search of anything unusual. My gaze was fixated on a particular section of the sky, where several cloud formations parted, creating a clear view of the blue expanse. As I continued to observe, I noticed something extraordinary. An object emerged from the left side of a cloud, catching my full attention. The unidentified flying object was substantial in size, with a distinct structure that I could not recognize as any conventional aircraft. Its middle section bore a greenish tinge, while the edges appeared black, crinkled, and encompassed by a dark green glow on the outermost edge.
The body of the anomaly seemed to be encircled by a visible, fluctuating field of light blue color. I quickly took a photo capturing the anomalous object with my Nikon P900 camera before it swiftly moved away towards the right and disappeared back into the clouds. Despite my vigilant watch of the area, this mysterious object did not reappear. For a brief moment, the object hovered in the air at a diagonal angle, and I believe I was looking at the bottom portion of this peculiar aerial object. This sighting adds to my growing collection of unexplainable captures, leaving me further perplexed and intrigued. I am a Private Pilot with well over 2000 hours as PIC – My wife and I were sitting on our front porch which faces basically S, not a cloud in sky – I spotted this odd anomaly that I can only describe as a whiteish cylinder at about 2000 feet headed NW – It had this mist surrounding it so it had a somewhat translucent appearance but definitely a solid object – I am a trained pilot with a great deal of experience, I stood up out of my chair as it caught my attention, never seen anything like this before – I can only judge the speed by what followed – We watched it turn E and that is when I got a really good look – From my perspective it was not moving very fast – I am reporting this now because of the recent UAP description called Tic Tac – This was exactly like the Tic Tac described by David Fravor, although I do not recall and protuberances whatsoever – Then we heard a familiar roar as two fighter jets followed at the same course and heading and altitude as the UAP – The fighter jets continued heading NW – We had the impression that they were in pursuit, but were apparently unaware of the UAP’s change in course to the E – Whatever speed the jets were moving at was very close to the speed of the UAP – This is only one of 5 sightings I have encountered, but this was the most memorable. On October 11th at 2:30am I wanted to go out and see if I could see the northern lights that everyone got to see the night before. It was a very clear sky and the stars where out. I saw an aircraft in the sky like at plane level. But what made it stand out to me the most is the array of colors that where flashing and flickering. So I started recording and describing what I was seeing. It was a cold night and I tried my best to record as long as I could.
After 21 minutes I had decided to stop and go inside to warm up but when I looked above me to take one more glance at the sky there was another object. So I started the 2nd video while recording that I zoomed out to show both objects a 3rd one appeared but could only be seen on camera. In real life naked eye I could only see the 2. The 3rd one was nowhere in the sky but only showed up on the camera. That 2nd video is about 10 minutes long.
I was outside taking out the trash and saw a strange light in the sky. I had my phone on me, so I called my wife who was in the house and told her to get outside.
She was standing by the garage and I was walking back towards the house (about 90 feet). My neighbor was also outside.
It appeared to be moving towards the ground, vertically towards the area where we live. Then prior to it disappearing, it moved back towards the sky.
It was bright and disk-shaped, no sounds were present.
It stayed in one place for a few seconds and then would move erratically in a chaotic pattern, but with no recognizable signature to identify it by any means.
It was not an aircraft, because immediately as this was happening we heard two jets (aircraft of jet-like origin) moving towards the object.
We tried to videotape this with the camera phone but it was too dark, and would not be sufficient for what we saw.
After we heard the jets coming towards the area of the object, it shot across the sky and disappeared. The jets continued to make loud noise, but soon after were gone as well.

Large bright blue/white lights shined down right on top of us. I told my friend from Louisille to check herself for burns lonight
My friend and I decided to drive out to Becks Mill on a leisurely drive after we went out to eat. We were leaving the mill heading back to Salem. I had my right arm and face outside the Window looking up when this object was right over top of us dropping an intense light like a gigantic flash light right on top of us. I’m still pretty scared typing this.
When the light went off I saw a triagular black shape.. Maria stopped the car hit the flashers on a very dangerous road at that time of night but we hopped out. I was screaming.
So we were freaked out and got back in the car and drove to West Hackberry Street. She dropped me off at my home and she went on to her place in Louisville, Ky. I put my cell down and went to the bathroom.. when I got to my phone Maria told me over 80 people were reporting seeing “Something” at 9:45 and I remember we definitenly didn’t see it til 9:48. Now, I’ve contacted 2 meteorologists and people are saying it was absolutely a meteor.
Maybe it entered like a meteor – I know what we saw. Is it possible a craft could enter like a meteorite? We had an intense beam of white/blue light right on top of us.. Like close encounters but the light was blue and white. It was too intense and sustained.. Meteors flash across the sky not hover above on one spot.
I’m telling you.. If they try to say it was just a meteor than there was something else using it as cover. We saw what we saw. I know what I’ve seen is more than a meteor.

Released through a Canadian freedom of information request, the grainy image appears to be a photocopy of an email printout.
Heavily redacted documents show how the image was approved for public distribution within days of the headline-grabbing incident, but then held back after a public affairs official expressed concerns that releasing it “may create more questions/confusion.”
A U.S. F-22 fighter jet shot down the object on Feb. 11, 2023, shortly after it entered Canadian airspace in the Yukon territory, which borders Alaska. It was one of three unidentified aerial objects(opens in a new tab) blasted out of the sky that month following the high-profile Feb. 4, 2023 downing of an apparent Chinese surveillance balloon(opens in a new tab). Shot down over Alaska, Yukon and Lake Huron between Feb. 10 and 12, 2023, the three objects were reportedly much smaller than the towering Chinese balloon.
In the documents, the Yukon object is referred to as “UAP 23.” “UAP” typically stands for “unidentified aerial phenomena,” which has largely replaced the terms “UFO” and “unidentified flying object” in official circles. During the 14-year history of this website, the night of January 24, 2015 remains the most remarkable for UFO sightings over the mountaintop town of Cashiers, North Carolina. UFOs were zipping all over the sky and included the strangest UFOs we’ve ever seen.

Ronda Moore was working the night shift at a group home in Franklin, North Carolina the night of January 7, 2023. When she stepped outside for a smoke break about 10:15 p.m., she saw “a bright ball moving steadily across the sky.” She was able to snap a few photos which are shown above.
A year earlier, Ronda saw something similar but much more dramatic.
“That was when I saw a UFO moving westward from Balsam Mountain Ridge. I immediately jumped up to get my boss to tell him I was seeing a UFO. As he looked up, the UFO split. A smaller one and then a second small one came out of the original UFO. Then all three continued on the same path and stopped. The first and bigger UFO sent a bright beam of light downward and both little ones zipped straight up and were gone.”
Like many UFO witnesses, Ronda has seen multiple UFOs over the years. On the night of the lunar eclipse in May 2022, she saw “two UFOs zig and zag across the entire sky.” She says “they would come together and then part but stayed close together.”
She’s also seen a UFO take off from land at Yellow Mountain; a triangular UFO over Walmart in Sylva; and another triangular one come out of the water at the Wolf Creek Dam. All of her sightings have been in Jackson County, North Carolina.
Curiosity’s mission to Mars began years ago, but the rover has continued to study the Red Planet well past its initial two-year mission timeline, to establish the historic habitability of Mars for life. It is now working in collaboration with the new Perseverance Mars rover, which landed in February 2021 and has been tasked with collecting rock and soil samples for a possible return to Earth.

Zoom in on the image and see for yourself. It usually takes me a few hours to properly scan one image for insects. Below are some of my newer findings on Mars. Sometimes it is very hard to get a clear image of these insects. Most of the time they are very small and by the time I enlarge them, the image looks blurry. KENS NOTE: Make sure you view these insects on a large screen desktop. Remember that rocks do not have legs, eyes, hair, tails, fur and antennas. They also camouflage themselves with the areas background.Most of these insects vary in length from 4 inches to 24 inches. All NASA has to do is look at their images from the Rover and helicopter. Many times, NASA blurs out portions of a hi-definition image or they copy and paste duplicates over the object they want to hide. NASA is lying to us again and it’s a wonder why the news media has not reported this to the world. It’s funny how the truth never comes from the news media.
For all of you conspiracy theorist, there is talk about Devon Island, in Canada, as being the place where most of these photos were taken. There are an increasing number of people who believe that NASA’s rovers never left the Earth in the first place, and the pictures they are allegedly sending back from Mars are taken in remote areas of our planet. “Evidence suggests that the pictures that we see on NASA’s website are not even taken by the Curiosity and Opportunity rovers. “It is very possible that by now, both rovers are stored in a hangar, somewhere at NASA’s headquarters.”
The Yekaterinburg UFO Study Group have investigated many apparent contact events from this part of the world, and it is to their research and case files that much of what follows is based.
On the night of 13th August 1991 in the town of Krasnoturyinsk, the witness known only as R, was at work on guard duty at a nearby farm, his main duty to guard the heavy-duty combine harvesters that resided there. In the morning, family arrived to pick him and take him home from his shift. However, to their surprise, he was nowhere to be seen.
They alerted other workers on the farm and a search was immediately carried out. However, there was no sign of him anywhere, it was as if he had simply vanished. The manager of the farm was informed and, with the aid of authorities, and organized search was planned and carried out. This search went on for five straight days, but the man remained unaccounted for. The family were particularly concerned as they felt it was unlikely that he had simply gotten lost. He knew the entire area like the back of his hand. Something strange and out of the ordinary had to have taken place.
Then, on 18th August – five days after he was last seen – he suddenly appeared near Lobik Station. He had his passport with him and managed to convince a taxi driver to take him to his home address. One he arrived him in the small village of Rudnichny, looking “barely alive” the authorities and an ambulance were called.
After being checked over by doctors, R revealed just what had taken place.
He would recall that he had arrived at work on the night in question at 5 pm. Everything was normal and quiet until just after midnight when he noticed something strange, like a white, spinning object flying fast over a nearby field. The next thing he realized, the object was directly overhead, the entire area now lit up in the green glow that came from its underside.
At this point, R turned and ran toward one of the combine harvesters, went inside the cabin and pulled the door shut. From where he was, he could now see the disc-shaped craft had come even lower to just above the trees a short distance away. As he watched, a cone of light came from the underside and stretched to the ground. As R looked toward this cone, he could see that there were three strange entities inside it. And of more concern, they were looking in his direction.
He remained as still as he could, all the while keeping his eyes on these strange creatures. They each wore a one-piece grey-blue overalls. What’s more, he could now several other figures behind them. Something told him these particular figures were females. All the while the disc continued to hover overhead.
Then, the combine harvester’s door flung open, and an invisible force pulled out of the cabin. He found himself, moving through the air, heading toward the disc-shaped object. Fear began to run through him before a huge white flash-like explosion appeared.
The next thing he realized it was morning. However, he was no longer near the combine harvesters. He found himself in a field in the middle of nowhere. Around him he could see the burning remains of fallen trees and smoke rising into the air. Then, after walking around for several moments in an attempt to get his bearings, he saw the strange creatures once more. And this time, there were more than just three.
He remained out of sight as best he could, watching as the creatures appeared to be gathering berries, various types of grass, and even used metallic “fishing nets” to gather something unknown out of the treetops.
His attention, though, was quickly drawn to something far more terrifying and disturbin
R claimed he could see multiple dead people – men, women, and children. And what’s more, many of them lay in unnatural, twisted positions, some of them “already turned blue”. He couldn’t quite tell what had happened, or what was going on.
He saw a set of lattice-like boards that were piled up nearby. He went over to them and climbed on top in an attempt to get a better look. However, before he could get his balance his footing gave way sending him to the ground. As he did so, he noticed a surge of further activity taking place a short distance ahead.
He noticed several tall figures, each of which appeared to be speaking into triangular walkie-talkies. He watched in amazement as they appeared to put something in their mouths and disappeared, as if they had been transported onto the ship.
Ultimately, he remained in hospital for a month. As well as his ramblings of meeting “unknown people”, the skin on his legs was completely gone leaving them completely raw and injured. It couldn’t be determined how this had occurred. Note: The above image is a rendering.
In 1957 my father took me to see a movie called Earth VS The Flying Saucers. On the way home he was unusually quiet. Finally he said, “They were too big.” He then told me that 10 years earlier he had been stationed at Wright Field in Dayton, Ohio, where he was part of a film unit. One day an officer came and told him and another man to grab a couple of 16mm movie cameras and follow him. He took them to a heavily guarded hangar. Inside was a badly damaged circular craft and about an acre of debris placed on a canvas tarp. My father and his friend were instructed to get footage on everything. They did so.
They then were taken into a refrigerated unit at the rear of the hanger. Inside the unit was what my father described as a museum case holding the bodies of two small creatures; gray, thin with large eyes but no eyelids. One showed some severe wounds, the other had no visible injuries. They were instructed to get footage of the creatures. When the case was opened to allow a better shot there was a smell similar to dead fish. When they had finished filming the cameras were confiscated instead of being taken back to the lab for processing.
My father said he and his friend were literally sworn to secrecy. My father only spoke of this to me that one time and me promise never to tell anyone. Since he recently passed away I feel I am now at liberty to relate his story. My father was very patriotic and very religious and not prone to making things up. Early on the morning of March 31, Jeno Udvardy, a 1956 Hungarian refugee, was driving home from a late work shift near Vicksburg, Michigan. When he reached the crest of a hill he saw a cluster of lights on the road ahead which he assumed was an ambulance at an accident. He slowed and approached cautiously.
When within about 10 feet of the lights, he suddenly realized that they were not on any recognizable vehicle.
Instead they were seen to be on a disc-shaped object hovering a few feet above the road and blocking his passage.
Brilliant lights from the object, some steady and some blinking, concealed some details of the object. Udvardy became frightened and tried to back away from the strange object. At that moment his car was buffeted violently as if by strong gusts of wind.
Then he saw what he first thought was another object hovering behind his car, but a quick glance ahead slowed that the object was no longer on the road ahead.
Apparently it had darted overhead and taken a new position behind him. The same pattern of lights was visible on the object.
Udvardy then realized that his motor had stalled. (It is not known whether this was due to electro-magnetic interference as reported in many cases, but he could easily have stalled the car in the excitement of the moment). He rolled down his window and looked out. For the first time he heard a low humming sound like a swarm of bees. Moments later, the UFO rose abruptly and sped off at a steep angle, disappearing in the eastern sky.
Having experienced Communist terrorism and other violence in his native country, Udvardy told the NICAP investigator, he did not scare easily. But this encounter with something unknown had shaken him. The incident probably lasted less than a minute, but, for many minutes Udvardy sat in the car regaining his composure before he was able to drive home.
At his wife’s urging he reported the experience to the Kalamazoo Sheriff’s office. He later became somewhat bitter over the ridicule his report evoked. However, he stuck to his story in the face of skepticism though he had nothing to gain from it. NOTE: The above image is CGI
47-year-old Mauno Talasa was eating breakfast with his wife, Martta, at their farmhouse in the village of Saapunki in Finland one January morning in 1971 at a little after 6 am. It was while they were eating that they noticed a bright light heading toward them through their kitchen window. They would recall how the glowing object appeared to be at low altitude and was not moving particularly fast.
Perhaps even more unnerving and bizarre in equal measure, was the fact that the object would land directly outside their kitchen window. Now, with the object being in such close proximity, the brightness was such that it almost blinded the married couple to look at it directly. What’s more, the entire area in the immediate vicinity was now awash from the light blue glow.
The pair continued to watch for several more moments. Then, without any warning, the object took off directly upwards into the sky. It disappeared from sight several moments later. As it did so, the electricity supply would cut out for several moments.
The pair would then go about their normal daily chores, attempting to put the bizarre episode out of their minds. However, when daylight began to fade, they would notice a strange indention in the snow – exactly at the same place where the glowing object had landed. It appeared to be three indentions in total. And what’s more, they were in a very distinct triangular shape. Even more intriguing, part of the snow in the middle of this triangle appeared to have melted.
When the snow melted away, the pair would make an even stranger discovery. The grass underneath appeared to have changed color to a sickly grey-blue. Mr. Talasa would take a sample of the earth in this particular spot.
The following day, he would visit the local newspaper offices. The newspaper would begin to investigate the incident and would soon discover that the Talasas were not the only ones to witness the bizarre events. Not only did their immediate neighbors witness the strange glowing object land and take off from the Talasas’ property, but several other witnesses, some up to 3 miles away, also saw the mysterious object.
There were also several other intriguing details to note. For example, the object could definitely not be explained away like a balloon of any kind due to its movements into a relatively strong wind. What’s more, mainstream scientists who examined the soil samples would suggest something along the lines of a meteorite or a lightning strike to have caused the change in the elements of the soil.
However, we can eliminate the meteor suggestion straight away. Given the number of witnesses, a meteorite would have been easily recognizable to most if not all of them as such. Furthermore, the first sighting in the village was at 5:58 am with the last at 6:15 am with that of the Talasas. Once more, even those who are not experts in weather conditions realize that lightning strikes do not last 17 minutes.
Indeed, as insinuated by the report in The Scandinavian Newsletter report, the scientific establishment appeared to be more concerned with “reputation”, and perhaps even funding we might add, then the genuine truth of such bizarre but obviously real incidents. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
As 77-year-old Alfred Burtoo was fishing the Basingstoke Canal in the peaceful early hours of the morning of August 12, 1983, he saw a brilliant light descend from the sky and settle on the nearby towpath.
Thinking it must be a helicopter from the nearby MOD base, he took no notice, and poured himself a cup of tea from his Thermos flask. Then his dog, Tiny, began whining furiously and two figures emerged from the darkness.
“They were about four foot high, dressed in pale green coveralls from head to foot,” Burtoo told reporters. “And they had helmets of the same colour with a visor that was blacked out.”
The strangers gestured to Burtoo to accompany them. Calmly setting down his cup of tea, the intrepid pensioner follow them along the towpath towards a saucer-shaped craft. “I was 77 and didn’t have much to lose,” he later explained.
Inside the Saucer
Climbing up a set of steps into the saucer, Burtoo discovered that the ceiling was so low he had to stoop. He found himself inside a black, metallic octagonal chamber, which smelt slightly of decaying meat.
“I did not see any signs of nuts or bolts, nor did I see any seams where the object had been put together,” he recalled. “What did interest me most of all was a shaft that rose up from the floor to the ceiling. The shaft was about four feet in circumference, and on the right-hand side stood two forms similar to those that walked along the towpath with me.”
One of the beings told the old man to stand beneath an orange light, which appeared to scan him for a few minutes. “What is your age?” asked the entity, in a “sing-song” voice which sounded like “a mixture of Chinese and Russian”. When he replied that he was 78, it declared: “You can go. You are too old and infirm for our purposes.” Bemused, Burtoo climbed down from the saucer and returned to his fishing spot.
“The first thing I did… was to pick up my cold cup of tea and drink it,” he recalled. “And then I heard this whining noise, just as if an electric generator was starting up, and this thing lifted up then took off at a very high speed.”
Apparently unfazed by his bizarre encounter, Burtoo resumed the task at hand. “I got into what I had come out for – the fishing!” Despite his rather curt reception, he later declared his nocturnal adventure to have been “the greatest experience of my life”.
Quality Control?
Alfred Burtoo is not alone in having apparently failed an alien medical test. American abductee Carl Higdon believed that he had been rejected as a guinea pig for a hybrid breeding program because his captors discovered that he had had a vasectomy.
Likewise, Luis Oswald, an elderly Brazilian abducted in 1979 by beings who claimed to be from “a small galaxy near Neptune”, reported that she had endured a lengthy examination then been told she was “of no use”. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
At approximately 9pm this evening, my fiancé and I were relaxing on the couch watching television. The lights in the house were off. When we watch television we are facing one small and one large picture window that looks out onto our wooded yard. Our house is tucked into a forested lot so that even the headlights from the very occasional passing car going to and from a neighbors house is not seen from our living room. There are very few houses on our road.
As we watched our show at least 3 bright orange flashes of light flew from the right side of our house in the air the whole time and moved across to the left. Even though it only lasted a few seconds it was clear that the light originated and continued in the air, though maybe not tree top height. The trees around our property average about 20-30 feet high. From where the flashes originated there is nothing but wooded property and our garage.
The flashes seemed to be no more than 6-10 feet off the ground but grew in height. My fiancée thought something in the garage had exploded. However, there was never any sound at all. I thought the lights to the truck had flashed a few times.
My fiancé ran out onto our front deck to look and see what it was but there was nothing there. Nothing was out of place.
The lights were bright orange and clear quick flashes with 3-5 of them successively within the span of 3-5 seconds. They moved from right to left completely silently and were so bright they lit up our front yard (which is about the size of the parking lot of a small business) and all the trees in our yard. To give you an idea of how big our yard is, we could probably park 30-40 cars in our front yard alone.
I don’t know if it’s at all related or not but last night (the night before this happened) around 3:30 in the morning, our dog who sleeps on her bed in the living room, came into our bedroom and alerted to something in the living room or at the front door. This is out of character for her. Just as she woke me, I heard a very slight sound but I could not pinpoint the sound. It seemed to resonate throughout the house. It was a very slight but deep sound. You could liken it to a (Wah-Wah-Wah-wah) sound. I could feel this sound just as much as I could hear it and I can’t explain it better than that. It lasted for just as long as it took me to walk the few feet from our bedroom to the living room. Then it was just gone. It just immediately stopped.
I have a really tough time falling asleep last night. The dog acted as if there was someone at the door and I felt like there was too but our motion sensor lights weren’t on and I saw no one. I felt the weird need to sleep in my f! our year olds bed with him at that point. At this point, my healthy ((xx-years)) old dog would not leave my side.
Suddenly, my dog collapsed onto the floor and laid there with her eyes open but not blinking. She would not respond to my voice or my touch. She would not even respond to my commands. This scared me. About two or three minutes later she came to again and acted totally normal again. It seemed as if she had been drugged but of course she had not.
I am a college educated ((deleted)). I also hold a degree in ((deleted)). I do believe that we are not the only intelligent life out there. However, like most people I have never encountered anything personally that would give me that absolute undeniable truth. I’m not going to say that this experience is that undeniable truth.
To be quite honest, I don’t and I can’t know what this was that we saw but it is a very strange experience and it happened just as I have told you. NOTE: The above real image is from a similar sighting in California.
It was just a routine flight. Well, not exactly routine… It was a special Japan Air Lines 747 cargo flight to carry a load of French wine from Paris to Tokyo.
The flight plan would carry flight 1628 from Paris to Reykjavik, Iceland, across the North Atlantic and Greenland, then across Canada to Anchorage, Alaska, and finally across the Pacific to Tokyo.
The crew consisted of veteran Captain Kenju Terauchi, co-pilot Takanori Tamefuji, and flight engineer Yoshio Tsukuba.
On November 16, 1986, laden with wine, JAL1628 took off from Paris and flew the first leg of the trip, to Reykjavik. The next day, they continued, flying over Greenland and then across northern Canada without event.
Just after they crossed into Alaska, at 5:09 PM local time, Anchorage Air Traffic Control contacted them on the radio to report initial radar contact. The Anchorage flight controller asked them to turn 15 degrees to the left and head for a point known as Talkeetna on a heading of 215 degrees. They were at 35,000 feet and traveling at a ground speed of about 600 mph.
At about 5:11 PM local time, Captain Terauchi noticed the lights of some sort of aircraft about 2000 feet below and 30 degrees to the left front of them. He decided that the aircraft was probably an American jet fighter from nearby Eielson or Elmendorf Air Force Bases patrolling Alaskan airspace, so he ignored them at first.
However, after a few minutes, he noticed that the lights were keeping pace with his own aircraft, which would be an unusual thing for patrolling jets to do.
It was about seven or so minutes since we began paying attention to the lights (when), most unexpectedly, two spaceships stopped in front of our face, shooting off lights. The inside cockpit shined brightly and I felt warm in the face.
Terauchi said that it was his impression that the two objects he had seen below them minutes before had suddenly jumped in from of him. The craft, one above the other, kept pace with the 747 for several minutes, moving in unison with an odd rocking motion.
After about seven minutes, they changed to a side-by-side arrangement.
Terauchi said that the “amber and whitish” lights were like flames coming out of multiple rocket exhaust ports arranged in two rectangular rows on the craft. He felt that they fired in a particular sequence to stabilize the craft, much like the small maneuvering thrusters on the Space Shuttle.
He also reported seeing sparks like a fire when using gasoline or carbon fuel.
Co-pilot Tamefuji described the lights as “Christmas assorted” lights with a “salmon” color. He said: I remember red or orange, and white landing light, just like a landing light. And weak green, ah, blinking. He also described the lights as pulsating slowly. They became stronger, became weaker., became stronger, became weaker, different from strobe lights.
The lights were “swinging” in unison as if there were “very good formation flight… close” of two aircraft side by side.
He described the appearance of the lights as similar to seeing “night flight head-on traffic,” where it is only possible to see the lights on an approaching aircraft and “we cannot see the total shape.”
He said, I’m sure I saw something. It was clear enough to make me believe that there was an oncoming aircraft.
Flight engineer Tsukuba, who sat behind the copilot, did not have as good a view of the lights. He first saw them “through the L1 window at the 11 o’clock position,” and he saw “clusters of lights undulating.”
These clusters were “made of two parts… shaped like windows of an airplane.”
He emphasized that “the lights in front of us were different from town lights.”
He described the colors as white or amber.
Tamefuji decided to call Anchorage Air Traffic Control, and for the next thirty minutes the 747 and AARTCC were in constant contact regarding the UFO.
During this time, Captain Terauchi asked Tskububa to hand him a camera so that he could attempt to take a photograph of the lights. However, Terauchi was unfamiliar with the camera and could not get it to operate. Tsukuba also could not get his camera to operate due to problems with the auto-focus and finally gave up trying to take a photo.
At this point they began experiencing some radio interference and were asked by Anchorage to change frequencies. Terauchi later said that Anchorage kept asking him about clouds in the immediate area:
They asked us several times if there were clouds near our altitude. We saw thin and spotty clouds near the mountain below us, no clouds in mid-to-upper air, and the air current was steady.
Soon after the exchanges about clouds, the objects flew off to the left. Terauchi said later: “There was a pale white flat light in the direction where the ships flew away, moving in a line along with us, in the same direction and same speed and at the same altitude as we were.”
Terauchi decided to see whether they could see anything on the 747’s own radar:
“I thought it would be impossible to find anything on an aircraft radar if a large ground radar did not show anything, but I judged the distance of the object visually and it was not very far.
“I set the digital weather radar distance to 20 (nautical) miles, radar angle to horizon (i.e., no depression angle). There it was on the screen. A large green and round object had appeared at 7 or 8 miles (13 km to 15 km) away, where the direction of the object was.
” We reported to Anchorage center that our radar caught the object within 7 or 8 miles in the 10 o’clock position. We asked them if they could catch it on ground radar, but it did not seem they could catch it at all.”
At 5:25:45, after spending two minutes looking, the military radar at Elmendorf Regional Operational Control Center also picked up something. The ROCC radar controller reported back to the AARTCC that he was getting some “surge primary return.” By this he meant an occasional radar echo unaccompanied by a transponder signal.
As the 747 neared Fairbanks:
“The lights (of the city) were extremely bright to eyes that were used to the dark. (The cockpit lights had been turned off to eliminate window reflections of internal lights.) We were just above the bright city lights and we checked the pale white light behind us.
” Alas! There was a silhouette of a gigantic spaceship.
“We must run away quickly! Anchorage Center.”
The JAL1628 is requesting a change of course to right 45 degrees.” It felt like a long time before we received permission.”
Just after the plane turned to the right, the AARTCC controller called the Fairbanks Approach Radar controller to find out whether or not the short-range radar had a target near the JAL. The approach radar reported no target other than JAL1628.
The plane came out of the turn and flew toward Talkeetna at an altitude of 31,000 ft, with the object still following.
At about 5:40, a United Airlines passenger jet took off from Anchorage and headed north to Fairbanks. The AARTCC controller decided to ask the UA pilot to try to see the object that was following the JAL flight.
The UA pilot said he would look when he got closer. The controller asked the JAL flight to stay at 31,000 ft, and the UA flight to stay at 29,000 ft. He then directed the UA flight to turn some more so that the planes would pass within five miles of one another.
As the United Airlines jet got closer, the UFO apparently dropped behind, allowing the JAL plane to get far ahead. The United pilot asked the AARTCC to have the JAL pilot flash the headlights on the JAL aircraft so he could locate the plane.
At 5:49:45 the JAL pilot did that. At this point the planes were about 25 miles apart.
When the planes were about 12 miles apart, the UA plane reported seeing the JAL plane and nothing else. But by this time the UFO had apparently disappeared, not being seen by JAL1628, either.
At about 5:51, the AARTCC requested that a military TOTEM flight in the area also fly toward the JAL plane for a look. During the next several minutes TOTEM viewed the JAL plane, but couldn’t see any other traffic. JAL1628 proceeded to Anchorage and landed at 6:20 PM. NOTE: The above image is CGI.
On the 15th of July in Charleston, South Carolina, yet another sighting of a triangular aircraft with glowing white lights at each corner would occur, although it would not come to light until three years later.
The witness was a passenger in a car that was returning her and a friend (who was driving) home from a nearby waffle house on the night in question. It was shortly after they turned on to a long stretch of road when the witness’s friend noticed and pointed out three white light in the shape of a triangle hovering or moving slowly above the treetops that accompanied the roadside.
The witness would recall that the lights were bright “but not glows” and appeared as though they were the end points of a solid triangular-shaped object. The witness would further describe the object as having the shape of a “nacho chip with a light at each of its points”. What’s more, and like many other witnesses to similar crafts, she found it bizarre that such a large object was seemingly moving so slowly. After they observed the strange object for several moments, they both realized that it was completely silent.
Most bizarre, though, was the beam-like searchlight that emanated from the middle underside of the object. It would move “quickly and erratically, but smoothly” over the woodland below as if searching for something among the trees.
They would watch the events unfold for several minutes. However, when they went to turn their vehicle around, the object had disappeared by the time they had done so. The witness would question whether it was a discreet “target-practice” for an experimental military craft as opposed to something extraterrestrial, although she didn’t dismiss the possibility. On 03-28-06, the UFO Casebook received a photograph from a reader. The 2005 photograph purportedly shows an alien being partially hidden in some brush. I enlarged the area in question, and enhanced the area which revealed in fairly good detail what does appear to be that of a being certainly not of human origin. Along with the photo, which is a really nice one I must say, a few details were given. I have written the sender asking for more information regarding the taking of the picture. If and when I receive this info, I will post it to this page. (B J)
Here are the details that I have at this time.
We didn’t really take the picture for the alien, we realized afterwards that it was there. We were over the Arctic Circle, and we were alone, no one within 50 kilometers. We were traveling in a snowmobile. What you see as the main subject of the photograph is an iced over river.
Updated Information: 04-06-06 After sending a request to sender for more information, the UFO Casebook received the following information on April 6.
I don’t really have much more details on that day. I can say that it was a snowmobile ride with some friends, we were 200 km up to north circle, between Sverige and Norway. The nearest city was Kiruna. The photo was taken with a Nikon 5400 with no zoom and it was around midday, of the 20th of December 2005. Nothing strange happened, it was -20°C, and silence all around with some wild animals. That’s all, we realized there was something showing in the photos some months later when a friend of ours kept saying there was something strange in that brush.
A California witness at Lake Silverwood recalled a UFO incident from 1983 when a boomeranged-shaped object passed overhead, according to testimony in Case 95355 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The incident occurred at 2 a.m. on May 15, 1983.
“Me and two friends were going catfish fishing at Lake Silverwood,” the witness stated. “We were off road going to the south side of the lake and entered by the north side by the dam. We were on a switch back and as we came around a curve our view was northeast looking out over the valley and saw a bright white light way out in the distance many miles away.” The witness later Googled the location and discovered “it was coming from” Area 51. “When we came around the next curve on the switch back it was just about on top of us. My buddy yelled stop and turn off your engine. My cousin had a UFO burn out his electrical system on his car. I did and turned off my lights too. We jump out of my 4×4 and the three of us stood in front of my truck and were all looking at this thing as it came towards us.”
The witness described the object. “We noticed that the light was on the bottom of the object and it was huge. The front of it looked like wraparound sunglasses. We were able to see into it and counted that it was four decks thick. We were all talking to each other what we were seeing. We could see columns from deck to deck. On the most upper deck we could see humanoid figures moving about. We were like saying things like look at the guy looking out. Is he driving it or what? It looks as if someone was shining a light up at it like the one that was seen in China.” As the object continued to pass directly the group, it blacked out a good portion of the sky. “Everything around us seemed to be crackling. I could feel my insides humming. Thinking of it now I’m glad I turned off my truck. As we were looking at the back of the craft there were four boxes that were louvered and shimmered like a road on a hot summer day. The boxes looked like a TV when there’s no channels on, black and gray from top to bottom of the craft. I had heard of small flying wings being seen on the Hudson in New York around the same time. This came to me later on in life. Four decks thick. Four boxes. Sixteen smaller craft would fit in this no problem. I worked in aircraft after this and was in the world’s largest building by volume in Everett, Washington. It wouldn’t fit in there. The ceiling would collapse with all the structure having to be removed to fit it. That’s how large this craft was. Also, later on in life, the Phoenix Lights happened. Yep, now we’re getting there, but what we saw was larger. I’m telling this story now and can still see it in my mind’s eye. It changed my life in many ways – even what I went to as a career, aircraft structures final assembly. Did the B-1-B bomber and all three aircraft that was built at the Everett facility. The direction I figured it was going was towards Norton Air Force Base.” NOTE: The above image is CGI.
A witness in Poços de Caldas, Brazil captured a video of a strange looking object he cannot identify. The witness reported the object to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) along with still images and video. The sighting took place on August 6, 2017. The witness claims to have noticed two bright star-like objects moving across the sky, even though it was during the day and still light out.
Here is the witness report, verbatim:
It was still day, and I saw two bright and strong lights, looking like stars. But no other star appeared, and it was too soon for them to appear. They moved together in a constant trajectory, not fast, not slow… and in the same direction (SE to NE), and really far away. Constant brightness all the time. One of them was bigger and brighter, and other smaller, but still bright. This small one disappeared suddenly, but the bigger kept on moving. They passed over right above me. Strange because it was to UFOs, very bright all the time… (sun reflection not the case). I took a picture of a plane passing by, with maximum close up from my camera. The same close with I took the pictures. I changed ISO, so some pictures were darkened. And at the end of the mp4, there is the video.
