Long story short, I have been seeing multiple objects every night for the past few years. I use apps to track airplanes, satellites, space junk, space station, etc. to help verify that it’s not a known object. This is the first time that I was able to capture one of them this low and bright without it suddenly disappearing. This was also the first time I noticed a significant wobble. It looked like it was falling, without falling and there was no sound. This one was traveling from east to west but that’s not always the case.
I’ve been wanting to contact MUFON for a very long time but reluctant to. This sighting finally pushed me to report it. Especially since I saw the same objects on the TV show “the secrets of Skinwalker Ranch”, where they got all excited over the same objects that I’ve been seeing for years. I kind of laughed when they got so excited because it’s so common by me. Even my wife, who was an absolute skeptic, can’t explain it and now points them out.
My daughter and I were laying on a hammock watching the sun set at my childhood home where I’ve watched the sun set and stars rise for over 30 years. My daughter said “look mom it’s the first star!” And before even looking I was like “no, it’s too early for the stars to come out.” I poked up and saw what she was talking about – a very bright, unmoving reddish orb about 20 degrees north of where the sun was setting. I asked aloud “could it be mars?” But I knew that wouldn’t be out until later too, and at a much higher degree in the sky (I’ve always loved tracking the stars, so I know generally what’s where any time and place from home). We were both watching it when it zoomed off straight up into the sky, faster than any airplane I’ve ever seen move on that same horizon. I didn’t get a photo of the orb (the whole ‘what is that?” moment lasted Less than 30 seconds). The photos attached show the aftermath of the trail of whatever it was, showing how the trail dissipated over the next 10 minutes or so.
Hi, discovered your site browsing, love the numerous photos of UFOs on your site. I have personally seen 3 UFOs up close and unmistakable, and many far away sightings of objects that flew strangely but were too far away to get a good look.
I am going to submit a photo and cropped closeup here. I caught this object quite by accident on Jan. 1, 1997, in Rye, NY. Myself, my ex-wife, and her three children were visiting Rye Playground, right on Long Island Sound, not far from NYC. The park was closed for the winter season, but it was a very scenic place to walk around. It was a cold and breezy day as I remember.
Anyway, I took two photos of my step-kids sitting on a bench, just a few seconds apart. I did not notice anything at the time, but when I got the photos back from development, I noticed a silver hat shaped object above their heads. This object was not in the 2nd photo, which I have lost. I was so shocked by this object that I took my camera and negatives back to the camera store and had the owner inspect them. I remember he blew the photo up very large; I should have asked him for a print. The owner said there was no defect in either my camera or film, that I had actually captured some object. Over the years I got divorced and moved several times. I lost all the photos and negatives, except for this one photo with the unidentified object, which I put in a scrapbook and still own to this day.
I still have the original photo; it is much sharper than the images here. I got these images by taking photos of the original with my Iphone. The original is so sharp you can see the individual branches of the trees in the distance. I can’t remember what kind of camera I used, but it was not expensive.
On the original it looks like a silver disc object with a squarish dome on top. The object was at an angle, so the bottom side is in the shadow. It was around noon when I took these photos if I remember correctly, been a long time. This object is not a balloon, although it appears directly above one of the spires in the background. It was very breezy that day, you can see that in my step-kids hair being blown by the wind, so a balloon would have appeared further inland, as the wind was coming off the water.
Funny story, I told a co-worker who was a big UFO skeptic that I had caught a photo of a UFO by accident. He laughed at me, so I brought the original into work. I worked as a quality inspector in a lab with microscopes. You could see my friend’s expression change the moment he saw the photo. He took it over and examined it for a very long time under one of the microscopes. Finally, he brought it back and I asked him what he thought it was. He said, “It looks like a flying saucer to me.” LOL, I made a believer out of him.

KENS NOTE: Sometimes we get a photo that the camera captured, and I feel this is a genuine UFO. Most of the time it is lens flair from the camera but this time it is not the case. Many times, our cameras see what our eyes cannot see.
A Syosset, New York, man reported seeing a reflective object moving at a slower pace than airplanes typically do, according to testimony in Case 122715. The witness was outside looking up into the sky and recording things he saw at 3:10 p.m. on June 5, 2022. A second individual also was present. A cropped version of one of the witness’s digital photos appears above. The reporting witness’s detailed CMS description of the event, slightly edited for clarity, reads as follows: I frequently watch the skies and larger planes loop around northern Nassau County, NY, to land at JFK Airport. After noticing a reflective object moving at a slower, steadier pace than planes typically do, I started to record and zoom in on the object to get a better look. It appeared moving at [the apparent] speed a satellite might at night; however, it was during the day and reflecting light. As I zoomed in on the object, I noticed there appeared to be no wings or contrail behind it. There were no other sounds or objects in the skies other than birds. I checked the Plane Finder application at the same time, which did not show planes in the area where the object was recorded. I would appreciate any further information you can provide on the footage and images.
It began with a humming sound and a feeling of electricity moving through my body. I heard it before I saw anything and I knew right where to look as it appeared. It was a super cloudy, but lights appeared in the clouds. They were very sharp and distinct lights just lightly within the clouds. I watched it move through the clouds over my house. It would stop and continue. I could make out the form of a pyramid although it was translucent. I could make out the shape within the clouds as well as in clear sky. It was completely translucent, yet the form was unmistakable. Its volume was distinct in its space. It seemed to be powerful energy. I could feel electricity fill me so much that it seemed to be shooting out of my fingertips. I could see the clouds affected by the movement, but it was subtle. When hovering above me, it displayed 3 red lights, in a triangle shape, on the bottom of the form. As it moved away, I would notice different colored lights in different places about the form. It would move away toward the front of my house and then come back to where i was in the back yard. Then it would move in circles or straight lines while keeping right above my backyard. It would hover and move again. I watched it for at least 20 minutes. I was transfixed. It made a humming sound. It was sort of like a soft, whispering engine. After some time, I could feel the noise more than I could hear it. It was low, like humming electricity. (This is the craft I described in response to the above questions). Later in the night, I was outside with my husband describing what happened when a light appeared from the east. My husband said it was a plane, but I knew it wasn’t moving like a plane. It continued straight toward us so slowly that my husband could no longer say “plane.” Then he said it was a helicopter. He said he could hear the sound of a helicopter. I could only hear the same low humming, like before. Also, it was dark out and it didn’t have a spot light. Instead it seemed to glow. Light did not shoot out like in a helicopter search light, but seemed to just radiate in a glow. It did flash a red light, which my husband still says means its a helicopter. I watched it while it moved across the sky. He refused to even look at it when it came overhead because he thought it couldn’t be real. Even at its closest, I couldn’t make out a form, nor could I hear any sound like a helicopter. Please note that my area in upstate NY receives very, very little air traffic. We are in the sticks. I do believe this second sighting was different from what I experienced earlier in the night, yet I think the two are related somehow. I did not have the same wild, gripping feeling of electricity that I had earlier. I did get pics of the second sighting, however. Id like to know if my experience was real like I believe it to be. Even if the second sighting was a helicopter, I will still believe in what I saw and felt the first time. If you could please let me know what you see in the pics and what you think of my experience, I would greatly appreciate you.
